Speaker 1 (00:00):
Marney and Campo for breakfast. We're calling this the Dirty Dipper.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
The Dirty Dipper, and I love it. I love it well,
I don't love it well.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
It's happened to it a lot of people, Marny.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
This would have happened to a lot of people. CCTV
footage shows a man jumping into somebody's pool and going
for a swim when they're not home.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
And this has been reported on the news on the
weekend and it's happened at Newfarm, so not far like
just in a Brisbane. So this dude, though, he's done
it several times and he's just a random person not
known to the family anywhere.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Here is the Dirty Dipper story.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Okay, a quick peek before popping into the pool.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
It just feels a little bit entitled.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
But this is no regular post workout dip.

Speaker 5 (00:43):
This is not this man's house nor his pool, but
he's certainly treating it like it is, making himself at
home in Holy Stevens's backyard at least five times since January,
we essentially open up the back gate, look inside the
house and then.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Check no one's home up in the pool. So we've
come to the conclusion, he's obviously scoping out the property
whilst where just make sean Ian's home.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
The sneaky swimmer even taking off his shoes at the
front door of the new farm home before loosening out
his limbs in luxury Sweaty has sneakers on and is
running and then he's stretching in the full after a run,
which is honestly very gross because it's just like this
guy that.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
We don't know who's coming in sweaty and swinging.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Holly says they've caught the dirty Dipper nearly half a
dozen times.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
That's pat Enie Dirty Dipper. I am sure.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I am sure that many people with pools have experienced
something of the Like I've said.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
To my name is you can use my pool anytime.

Speaker 6 (01:46):
And that's why I like to grow the algae.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
I mean, you hear about it, but I mean actually
doing it. And I guess you know these days people
do have CCTV footage, So I mean, how would you feel,
I mean, this pool will.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Like I would be mortified to be.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Like, because your whole security then goes like somebody's actually
entering the property when you're not there.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
That's the sauna there as well, why didn't he use that?

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Well, maybe he is, they're only talking about the pool.
But the thing is, when he's in the pool like
he is, he's literally there like it is. He's just
stretching out and he's enjoying himself. I mean, is it
the thrill of actually going in because he knows that
nobody's there.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
I imagine if you walk in and he gets busted.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
I mean, how could you even relax during that swim
monitoring like their movements and he goes, oh, well, they're
at work, and I've noticed that they're at work at
this time, so I reckon I'd be okay, But still, dude.

Speaker 6 (02:37):
I used to live on the north side of Brisbane
and the people on the corner had a pool and
I'm driving around to my house one day and the
whole neighborhood was in their pool and they were away
on holidays.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
See what I mean, it's so hot. I enjoyed them.
I thought someone must have a mission.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
My gosh, have you ever jumped in someone's If you
ever had like a pool yourself and found someone or discovered.

Speaker 6 (03:01):
That they'd been using or maybe they've just come in
the yard to do something else. Darren's in Being leg Darren,
what of your neighbors or someone's jump the fence?

Speaker 1 (03:09):
What's happened?

Speaker 6 (03:10):
Tell me jump the fence and rustling through the clothesline.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
I think they're looking for some job.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
You didn't have a pool, no.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Shopping ash. What is it with people stealing other.

Speaker 6 (03:31):
People's know, people getting into your yard and doing things
without your knowledge. It's just CCTV cameras. Man in Thank You,
Darren Lennie's in Brown's Planes Go Lenny. She had someone
try and steal stuff off her line.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Yeah, they didn't try. They actually did quite a few. Yes, yes,
we eventually found out who was. But yeah, and it
was like a neighbor from a couple of streets away.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Really, what were they pinching their preferences?

Speaker 4 (04:03):
They were I don't know. They were pinching because my
daughter at the time was a teenager, and so they
stole all of their underpans.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Oh, we're talking the dirty dipper, people jumping in your
pool when you're not there.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
And this bloke's been busted.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
But I just said to Campo, when I was nursing,
right when I did all a nursing degree and I
was on the Gold coast. I lived with a couple
of other nurses and we had the same thing. And
then it was just gross and bikinis and things like
that because we'd go to the beach and yeah, gross.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
So we you didn't have a dirty dipper, you had
a dirty swift up.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
And Riche was so busy back then that my daughter
actually said to me, Mum, I haven't got any underpan
and so I said, oh, well, maybe they got caught
up with mine. So I went and checked my drawer
and I said, you know what, I haven't got any either.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
God, some want to be at your place.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
That was our first inclination that something was amiss.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Of course it would be.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
I know often my kids will say the same words,
or my underpants. So we're going to put them in
the watch because there's so many of them. You just
don't think. You wouldn't think that someone would come in
and anyway, no, I'm not going there.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
It's horrible, all right, Well, thank you for sharing.
