Speaker 1 (00:00):
They feel sorry for this guy.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Mart I do feel sorry for this guy. What happened,
there's a little story behind. This happened in Canberra, but
he's posted it online because he was a bit taken back.
So what's happened is he's gone in for a skin
check up. He's trading and he was given the all clear.
So he and his mate win in and they decided
to go and have a cheeky beer to celebrate in

(00:22):
the pub next door.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
It's happened to be a pub next doll, That's how
it is.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Anyway, in his excited state, he accidentally went in the
exit driveway. That can happen, right sometimes in all shopping
centers there's the entry one and the exit one. Sure,
and he said, but the driver behind him, though, was
just not very excited about the action.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
He said.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
He was an elder gentleman in the car and he
gave me a massive beap of his horn. He said,
but I got into the car park, I found a spot.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Not at any.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Stage did I inconvenience any other driver. I didn't block
the driveway, nor did I cut anyone off getting into
the car space. In fact, it was three quarters empty,
so there was Okay, went the wrong way, but I
didn't cause any drama. Goes and has his cheeky beer,
comes back out and he finds a delightful message under
his windscreen wiper, which said exit. Can't you read stupid?

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Well, that's a bit rude. I've left rude notes on
people's cars.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
I was out of the University of Queensland for tennis tournament, okay,
and there's parking alongside the tennis center there, but there's
not enough parking, so you've got to go for miles
looking for another park. But there was this one particular
park there this particular day, I've driven up and the
guy has not parked properly and gone over the line.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I couldn't get in. Oh I was rapable.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
I bet you were.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
I wrote a note learned to park ahole.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
You're like this bloke.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Everyone was sitting there saying how miserable this bloke is. Well,
you might get accused of being the same thing.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
In my last house, you know that in between my
place and my neighbor's place was a very small spot
with a tree right there on the footpath.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
And we had a dance school at the end of
the street.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Sure, and it would get blocked up with the mums
after school and so forth. But it would literally, if
you've got a bigger car, it would hang over my
neighbor's driveway or my driveway, and then somebody else would
be on the other side and on the other side
of the road. So trying to get in and out
your own driveway and navigate traffic flying.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Up and down the street was a nightmare.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Sure I never wrote a note, but my neighbor Caitlyn
would come out and I'd like, oh, no, here she comes.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
She'd storm down.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
She'd say you got to park here, or don't you
know that's a driveway. So she was constantly riding nights.
So I'd say to people as i'd come in, if
you don't want to know, you'd better get out of here.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
But there's nowhere else to park.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Ain't my problem, Sue off, you go get out of here,
because she'll come down.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
And she did.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Monny, Caitlyn, I do miss your dull. I love the
way she used to write. I'd see it come down.
I'd be like, are you right.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
She's like, I'm so over this, Like I know, well,
I told you what happened to me on Gary Praser.
You said, this little car called the Suzuki X ninety.
It was only a two seater. It was the lightest
car you could ever see. It was like a four
whel drive.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I remember that. Yeah, the first radio station and we
worked out and people called.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
It the bubble or the smarty car, the jelly bean
or whatever. Anyway, you could drive it onto Fraser on
onto Gary because it was a four wheel drive.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
And we went to Lake Mackenzie for a bit of
a bit of a swim and I moved the car
into this particular spot and I thought I will only
be here ten minutes, and I'd parked behind these full drives. Anyway,
I came back fifteen minutes later. They'd picked my car
up and moved it and left a note on my
car saying don't park here, f wit.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
I looked around. I was waiting to see someone hiding
behind a tree.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I love his story. Yeah, well you shouldn't have been there,
absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
But I did not enjoyed the swim.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
When if you had a night left on your car?

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yeah, acthlely saind iron bark, what's your story?

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Yes, Forest Lake.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
One day I came out and there was a chocolate
and a little note saying something about having a good day.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Ah that nice?

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yeah, it was nice? Is nice?

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Did you check your car for dents?

Speaker 5 (04:05):
I think back then my car had hit would have.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Blended, right.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
I just thought they might be true, true story covering
the dent.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
It was on the window. Did your car have a
nice day?

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Yes, I'm not leaving my phone number. It's look I
Have you enjoyed the chocolate?

Speaker 3 (04:25):
But interesting? It's interesting?

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yeah, lovely? Thank you. Bernie's in Minden, Bernie.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Have you ever left a note on someone's car or
had someone leave it on yours?

Speaker 5 (04:33):
I'm not on mine that When I was living in Sydney,
I accidentally reversed into someone's car, left my name and
number there, give me a call and never heard from them.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Right, You didn't happen to leave chocolates as well? By chance?

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Now they would this time of year, and this is
also the time back when you would leave your name
and number on someone's car.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yeah, these days people just drive off and hope there's
no security for it, because people get on the community
pages and go did anyone see this happen? And then
someone's seen it or they've got dash cam seat. That's right, Bernie.
You had to be honest back then.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
The matter as soon as as soon as you leave
your house, you're on camera.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Anyway, everyone can see what you're doing because.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Your neighbors still pays to be insured. Thank you, Thanks,
have a good one mate.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
I reckon if anyone left a note on your car now,
it would be on your Corolla out there.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Other cars are
