Speaker 1 (00:00):
This was only yesterday, okay that the finals were on
for the Miss World pageant. Wow, what a fall this was.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Oh, this is terrible. So Miss Jamaica has has come
out and she's on the stage and she's walking down.
She wearing a beautiful, gorgeous outfit, stunning, and she's actually
a doctor. So she's there and unfortunately she's done the
runway walk thing and she's gone to one area of
the stage.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
She's literally she's had the World's peace speech.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yes, it's dopic, not funny. She's gone right off the
side of the stage into the crowd. Take a listen
to the story.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Jamaica's Miss Universe delegate, doctor Gabrielle Henry, is currently undergoing
medical tests in Bangkok after a frightening fall from the
stage during the evening gown preliminaries on Wednesday. She was
quickly taken to the Polo ranks at Hospital, where doctor
is confirmed that thankfully, she has no life threatening injuries.
According to National Director Mark mcdermoth, gabriel is being closely

(00:55):
monitored and he's asking everyone to keep her in their
thoughts and prayers. Her mother, her sister, and pageant officials
are by her side as she recovers.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Wow, she went over like there was nothing stopping.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
She just walked out as if she was walking, and
went sure that poor woman, it's terrible.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
And yes, I hope that you would have expected them
to have some sort of edge to stop. Well, they're
on a catwalk. They're not looking at the stage, They're
going straight over the top of it. I mean, we've
seen musical artists fall off stages before, but nothing like that.
I mean she went head first. Know how high was
the stay?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Well that's and she's wearing heel. Oh anyway, no, I
know I cringe and I was like, oh my gosh,
poor lady. As you said, we've seen musicians do it,
we all do it. Well.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I did it a couple of weeks ago in my
bart tub when I was trying to paint the ceiling
went over. I can't remember the bruise I put up
on the Facebook. Pach, we've all been there. Phil's in
Mount Helen. Hey, Phil, when did you tumble? Mate?

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Climbing up probably six meters high in the ladder, touching
up holes in brickwork, right, and then I climbed down
the ladder and I was just about read to step
on the concrete and my left leg gave way and
I grabbed the ladder, pulled the ladder down on top
of me, and oh, mate, but I'll pull over everything
all the time.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
Phil.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
The ground building trade.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yes, mate, well I know the building trade through the
roofs and all sorts of things.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Thank you, Phil, Judy's and Walloon. Hello, Jude's. So what's
your story?

Speaker 5 (02:20):
Gooday? Yeah? Well I run again clapping business the fun
and was adding some extra fairy lights when I turned
around easy, not really too many drinkies. Hipped over the
tent peg and broke down.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Oh the tent peg. That'll do it.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
That'll not happy.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I always worry about ten pigs when you're camping. People
are always running into the ropes and all sorts of stuff.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Yeah. I was doing a nice deed for someone. I
will never do that again.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Oh you put the.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Will fall over.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
The fairy lights? See that. You can hurt yourself doing that?

Speaker 5 (03:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Eli's in cedar Var. What did you do? Eli?

Speaker 5 (03:03):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
I was with a full wheelbarrow walking backwards and I
just fell over with it.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
And I sprained my ankle's second degree.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Spraying wheelbarrows to do it. They're heavy mun especially when
you're putting loads of dirt in there, they'll go and
people hold on trying to say yes, yes, that's the issue.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
If you ever see me with a wheel and I
don't know how the builders and concrete do is you
know how they get the plank and I'm like no,
I can't even keep it up right. It's always turdy.
Everyone laughs at me when I get the wheelbarrow out.
He goes, Mum, what can go wrong? Well, that can
go wrong? Hey, you lie absolutely

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Poor miss Jamaica, Mardy and Camper
