And that's leading us into the soundtrack and the reason
why because a lot has been happening in our skies,
just so much.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Lot, and a lot of things that are meant to
be in the skies. I've been spending time on the
ground or up and down, up and down.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Yeah. So yeah, there's the turbulent stuff that we've been
seeing in Singapore. Airlines is another one you're going to
wake up to from overnight. There was a chopper landing
in Burnside car Park that's helping create and build the
Burnside shopping center.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
There was a plane crash of Banks Town.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Yeah, and then there's this one which I found this morning. Now,
you know, when you're on a ship, the last person
off of sinking ship is who captain.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Well, captain goes down with the ship. If I've learned
anything from Dido.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
That's right slash Titanic.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Right.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
So apparently that's not the case in the airline world. No, okay,
So there was a plane carrying seven people, including the pilot.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Small plane.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
I'm really glad to say this is happening in America
and they've written it that six people will miraculously managed
to survive. Why did they six because the seventh didn't
even get it right up? Because he was the pilot,
he had a parachute, He jumped from the plane, He
bailed early. He bailed out of the plane and left
six people on his plane as it crash landed.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
What do you how do you? I walked out of
the cockpit with a big backpack on, looked everyone and went,
best of luck.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
You know that, Like it is the bit in every
movie where the bad guy and the good guy fights
of the only parachute left, and the pilot didn't even
put up a fight. The pilot's just strapped in.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
And said, your lady is how do they get the
plane down?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I have no idea. I'm not an aeronautical engineer, but
I'm trying to work it out. They crashed in a field.
They're all fine and it's okay, but yeah, he just
can you imagine how terrifying that would be? Like sitting
there already? You know that because there's a little plane already.
You know the plane's in trouble and things aren't going well.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
And you know there's nothing you can do. Your life
is in the hands of the one person that has trained.
So then the pilot walks out.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Or scuttles out of the thing and then just takes
off out the outside door. So tell me in that moment,
I'm presuming, because again I am the one in this
room that actually listens to the air safety videos. Are
you putting your head in the crash position where you're
leaning onto the plane or are you taking that time
to give that fleeing pilot the finger.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
I'm giving him the finger and then I'm running to
the cockpit and you're going to take it. I'm doing that.
I've played enough Microsoft Flight Simulator, but I reckon I
could do this. Guys, I've got you. So there might
be another parachute in the cockpit.
