I'd like to say I'll get better during the day,
but I actually go downhill.

Anyway.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
I'm not like, I'm not cool. I'm not up with
beauty products. The most I occasionally get is maybe use
my leg moistures are on my face. I try real hard.
I try really hard.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Right the bit of fil.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yeah, I know, it's just and it's hard because I
now have two little girls that are being YouTube that's says,
So they are talking about laroche, posse and all these
things that I've never used at all at all.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Bit of a cleanser anyway.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Unfortunately, when I go and do my hosting jobs, if
I go out and MC something, quite often they might
be black tie events, so I've got to put on
a fancy dress, you got to go out the tracks,
and so then I try to do my face and
my makeup everything else with interesting results at times. Right,
I'm no good at it. So I had one of
the great disasters of all time. A friend gave me

a lip plumping sort of lip gloss.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
All right, lipstick, So the gloss that plumps you lip.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, so mazy in the newsroom, you know
all about this, like so lip plumping. So just explain
to Max what it kind of does and how it
makes you feel.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
So you put it on and it gives you like
a tingling feeling on your lips, and then it almost
like pins and needles, I guess right, And then it
just almost gives you an allergic reaction and pumps off it.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah, like chemical or something.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I think it's more like, you know how if you
get a really spicy thing on it, you know that feeling, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
I know the feeling, but doesn't make my lips blow
up like I've been stung by a bee. Yeah, that's
that's so in this on purpose.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Well yes, apparently we all pay money for it too.
So anyway, so I'm sitting there and I'm in a
rush because and I'm a little bit all over the
shop these days at the best of times. And I'm
in the bathroom in the green room, ready to walk
out on stage and everything else, and I go, well,
I'll just put a little bit of glossy on and
so I grab my little lip pumping gloss that I've
only used once or twice before. And as I'm doing that,
I thought, well, i'll cut things down. And I'm sitting

on the toilet, so I put it on and all
that sort of stuff. Now when you have a lipstick.
When you have a lipstick, you quite often blott it
on toilet paper or on a tissue so it doesn't
go over there.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Right, So you've put it on and then you like
get the excess off. So you put it and you
just go I've seen people do that on a tissue.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Right.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
So I'm sitting on the toilet. I grab a toilet
paper and I go, oh no, I've gone overs with
this tingly lip plumping lip gloss, very hygienic, and I
grabbed the I'm in a rush, mate, I grabbed the
toilet and paper and I blot. About two seconds later,
I finish, and I grab said toilet paper with excess
lip plumping gloss that makes everything go tingly. No, you're

not going to tell you, and I wipe.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
No wrong lips?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
May I was going to say ones or twos? Where
are we wiping front or back?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I'm just sitting there on the toilet, going, I'm my god,
what's gonna happen next? I don't know what to do.
I've got to go out on stage. What happens if
everything blows up?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Dingling? This is like, you know what this is like?
And I can relate to this because because when you
before a game of footy and you have to get
deep heeat on and someone's put deep heat on your
hammy or whatever, if you accidentally have rubbed your hamshing
or whatever and let me just scratch my balls or something,
Oh that's a bad idea. So how did you go
on stage with your tingly lips?

It turns out all four of them got the job done.
