Speaker 1 (00:00):
Across the weekend, I did something I was trying to
do the right thing, and I failed miserably. Just a
quick backstory for new listeners. I've got a two month
old baby at home with my lovely partner, Naomi Sena Pearl,
Siena Pearl, and I like to try and help on weekends,
which yesterday was kind of like one yeah, I said,
across the weekend.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I met yesterday.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
And so I got up early, did the because she's
on the bottle now, so I got up early and
did the early morning feed at like five point thirty,
and then just pressed on and just we ended up
staying a weight because she didn't go back down. And
I know that Naomi's been like, you know, your body
changes when you have baby, and she's been saying, like,
because we've got a family thing coming up, she goes,
I've got nothing to wear.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
I literally have no clothes that fit me right.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
And she bought a couple of things online. They arrived
and they didn't fit right. And so I said, when
she came down, hey, listen, I've got this. Like we
don't have Raffi until one o'clock. That's my little boys five.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
He's with his mum, don't have raft till one.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Why don't you go shopping because you need to actually.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Try stuff on.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
I got this out of the bub She's fine, she's
pretty happy with me. You go and just and go
and have a shower now, and you can get dressed.
You can go and have a shop, and so she said, okay.
Cool came downstairs then and then Sienna was kind of
crying as she was about to leave, and then a
gnomis just started crying and I was like, what's happening,
what's happening? And she said, I feel really guilty about leaving.

(01:26):
I don't feel like and going shopping doesn't feel like
a good enough reason to go out. And I sort
of said, don't feel bad, but like you've earned this
and it's fine, go and have a shop. And then
she told me later, So she left and said I
cried all the way to the valley and felt terrible
guilt the whole time. When it had two hours. I
don't think she enjoyed herself. She did buy a couple

(01:46):
of things, but I think all in all, my idea,
which was supposed to be a nice idea, I think
was a horrible idea.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
No guilt.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Okay, but that's not on you. I mean I think
I think there's lots of hormones going on. I mean,
I'm just trying. I think thirteen one oh six y five.
If you want to weigh in on this, would it
have been something because the two things I was thinking
as you were saying it was if it had.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Been her idea, she would have worked up to it.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
And also there's that thing too about she's probably not
feeling great about a body because it has changed and
it takes a long time to realize that, you know,
this is who you are now, even though you're kind
of proud of and she's super confident in who she is.
The only way that I think it might have been better,
but maybe this wouldn't have worked in your world. What
if you took Sienna and.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
You all went that was we did consider it, but
she just doesn't like being in the car, So.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
I would have made Siena really distressed. Yeah, that just
would have added.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
To all the more more stressful for everyone. I think
that I did mention that at first. I let her
it's not worth a drive.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
There's nothing that puts the fear of God into any person,
and regardless of what you look like, if your body
has changed shape, standing in a mirror in front of
multiple mirrors in a change room, when you're feeling like
you're not great and you've left giled at home. Yeah,
but I don't like. I really like that you did that.
I think that's really sweet. And I can understand why

(03:07):
you're kind of like.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
What did I so wrong? Yes?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
But I also see that that's hard.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
So and can I say as well? And I hope
she's listening. She's probably not because she's struggling to sleep
at the moment, but her body looks great, like I
love I love the new hips, I really do.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
And did you would tell her that you see that?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Guy?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yep, she doesn't love it.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
I made gave man sound sounds what she goes by. Now, Okay,
I love it?

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Do you?

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:33):
That may not help her? Do you want to talk
about he's ree at Green Bank?

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Ree?

Speaker 4 (03:38):
What do you reckon?

Speaker 5 (03:39):
Good morning? Guys? I think kid, you did everything right.
I've got two girls, and I went into massive fat
fartum depression with my second one, and we you know,
we don't realize that we need that little bit of
a push to get out and you know, it's probably
going to help her not go in soar depression as well,

(04:01):
Like she's going to realize later on, like, oh my god,
I'm so lucky that I've got to go out and
go shopping for two hours.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Yeah, I hope so. Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
I think you did so good.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Thanks very Yeah, I think I think the intention is
super honorable. But when you see your partner crying and
that's something you've suggested, everyone feels bad about.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Man, I should have just backed out and stayed out
of it.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
No, keep keep trying, Kim of Sheela Park, what do
you reckon?

Speaker 6 (04:26):
Hey, I think exactly that you have to keep offering.
Whether she accepts that offer or not, it's important that
she knows that you've got her back and that she
can take that time. Also, maybe just go with her
so that you can walk around with the prem she
can do her shopping, and then that way she's still
near the enna's.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Too much not too much separation. Yeah, that's probably good.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
And also there's a massive amount of insecurity about trying
new clothes on when you're trying to dress a new body,
and maybe having you there because you are so supportive. Yeah,
it's kind of going. No, I actually think that looks
really hot on you, and you are very honest about
fashion with her, so she would trust you one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah, I can make my grunting sounds okay.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Next to the other thing I reckon you should possibly
try is maybe go home this afternoon and say how
about you plan another trip when you're ready? Yeah, so
she knows that she you are so supportive of it,
and you might find it might be a different outcome.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah, I have a been a time to think about it.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Did you like the clothes she bought?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I haven't seen them yet.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
We have and she's not allowed to show me until
we have a full blown fashion show. I've got to
get the music ready.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
Please don't grunt.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
I'm telling you she likes the grunt, or does she?

Speaker 5 (05:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
I think so?

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Alana News, What do you think if some if your boyfriend,
if you come walking out in something and he's like.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
That, is that a positive?

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Where it's the tone you have to listen, it's nuanced,
it's like is it a ready?

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Although I think I would probably blush and get nervous.
Producing team, there's three of.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Them on the dead who's pro grunt that's going to
be a no.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
That's Ruthy, our executive producer, Scottie.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I feel objective.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Okay, that's got producer scott where's producer?

Speaker 6 (06:11):
Can right here? Guys and kid, you're in the money, mate,
