Speaker 1 (00:01):
Ron Kidd now with Coryos the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Now, as we prepare to get taken and hidden away
somewhere in Brisbane for someone to find us and win
themselves twenty thousand bucks, we're trying to work out what
it's going to be like just being in close quarters
living together, and so we've been trying to get some
extra information on each other. And somebody who knows Corey
very well, probably almost as well as Tigan his wife

(00:26):
is Adam Reynolds, the captain of the Brisbane Broncos, and
he joins us, now get a reno.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Here we going, good mate.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
This is your chance unleash. So have you got any
warnings for us?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
What's it going to be like being just in close
quarters with no escape with Corey?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Yeah? Absolutely torture. I think Look, there's a positive and
a legative side to this. I think the positive is
obviously Teagan and the kids get a bit of time
away from Corey.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
And shed that.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
But you guys obviously spend a lot more time with him.
Hopefully whoever's out there looking for his find yours pretty
quick for your sake.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
You seem like an old married couple or lot. What
do you guys argue about.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Pretty much absolutely everything. Look, it could be black and white, obvious,
but with OTSI obviously he likes to pick an argument
and you know, talking at the top of his talents.
So yeah, no doubt he'll find something to it apart.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I love arguing, Yeah, and I'm wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
It's just like, I'm just going to go with this.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
So can you give us an example of when you've
really lost it with him?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Pretty much every time I'm with him, Probably to be fair,
most times I've lose it with him is when we're
playing golf and he will spray ball about thirty meters
into the bushes and somehow always finds the ball.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Are you suspect on that? Are you suspect on that?

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Right? You go look it often? Actually so we might
we might walk the course and you'll spend you know,
another three or four k's extra. The idea.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Is like pretty much straight minds is like zig zag
through his line, Yeah, trying to find when you find,
you find a lot of.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Interesting.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
I'm wondering about how sensitive he is, Like we all
know he's the joker.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
We all know that.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Like he's fun to be around, and he talks a lot,
but there must be moments where you actually go, wow,
he's the coolest guy to have in my corner.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Yeah, look, I love being around os for about five minutes,
and then I get bigger of Indur. Look, as soon
as I'm not i'm not near him, I want to
be near him, But then when I'm with him, I
want to get away from him.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
It's like your kids. I get that you missed them.
You missed them when they're not around them, and there
were you for five minutes, you go, oh, we should
go back to school. Where was like that?

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Fun. He's got the the attention span of a two
year old as well, so there's.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
No time where he's like sost In sensitive, like none.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
He's extremely sensitive, especially when you talk about his golf
or hunting. I'm sure he's had plenty of stuff to
say about he's punting. He's his worst tipster. He goes
it right on the tips. So yeah, I'll give him
credit for that.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
But so we've learned that he's only going to get
upset when he loses, and he'll talk so much that
you'll let him wine.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
When he has to shout a coffee, you'll complain about Actually, probably.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
If he's not going to be able to watch races,
for example, while we're in this this house or this room.
You reckon, that's going to be his achilles here not
being able to punt.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
I think it'll be a bit of a punish for
you guys, right, I highly suggest some ear plugs and
some headphones.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Otherwise, otherwise we're going to have to make a book
on the cock road that are in there in the joint.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
He would bet on it would bet on two snails racing.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
So you're going to.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Miss him for a week.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
When do you guys have contact?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Uh? Not as much as I'd like to. Lately. He's
a bit with his radio. I reckons he works nine
to five. I try to call you all week. You
brush me.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
We have we have ruined your routine.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Though you were saying you guys used to have wrecking
pretty much every morning before training and stuff.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
That's true. We used to get coffee every single morning
because yeah, I don't have to pay for his coffee
thirty bucks a week in the bug, saving money and
saving the years from a lot of trauma.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
So who's the new pest at the Broncos now that
he's gone.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Well, we used to be a little team. We used
to pick up, pick on people, team up. I'd get tired,
he'd take over, He'd get tired, I'd take over.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
So you're doing the heavy lifting now.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Yeah, I'm on the ot. Everyone's busting me.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
How are we looking for this year? You're feeling good?
How's it going?

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Really good. We've had a really good pre season. Obviously,
new coaches, coaching staff as well, you know, the addition
of Benny Hunt's been fantastic, So things are looking good.
Obviously we haven't played a troll yet, so we'll obviously
know a bit more once we get through the trolls,
but not the excitements building throughout the town.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
And there you and being going to be on the
field at the same time.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Yeah, we'll be. They'll have to release us from the
nursing home.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
The oldest.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Fifteen mate, he hadn't listed Benny Hunds listing the age
back at there, so he's the same mate. Yeah, he's
got by a couple of months.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Do you reckon Cory's going to be able to watch games?

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Yeah? I think so. I think you'll enjoy it. Actually, Obviously,
what he's going to be feeling a lot better than
what it was this time twelve months ago, so he
might not have any fingernails by the end of the game.
But yeah, I'm sure he obviously find a way to cope.
And look, he'll be up there talking the years off
of someone.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Certainly whoever's next to him.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Get a rain back and it'll be sunny and no
to the cloud in the sky, but you need a
range at will be spitting that much spray.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Didn't know that about you.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
I want to watch get get nervous and get the
ships trying to struct himself.
