Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're going back to school. Every Friday morning, we're doing
school visits. On this Friday, we're heading out to McGregor.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Yeahatrical School.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Yeah please, yeah, be really good.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
We might have to do the entertainment report and.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
It God is thinking about about ourselves at our school years.
And for me it brought up sort of, you know,
my body confidence issues I had back then. But what's
really interesting, Well, that's weird.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
You just threw it, blew something off.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Yeah, okay, I didn't touch it though anyway. Anyway, So
what's interesting about is that Robert Williams has come out
and he has he's put a post up on Instagram.
It looks like it's handwritten the posts and so it's
like a photo and it says, my ideal goal weight
is people being worried about me. You're what, now, My

(00:47):
ideal goal weight is people being worried about me. So
like when you when you're thin enough that people go, oh,
he's not. Well oh yeah, that's that's his ideal. That's
where he wants to be. Oh dear, isn't it. It's stunting.
So and he's gone on, you know, he's put a
lot of illustrations up lately, he said, I could write

(01:07):
a book about self loathing where my body image is concerned,
like pure self hatred, the ugliness of feeling ugly. I'm
body dysmorphic, and on top of that dysmorphia, sometimes I
can be forty pounds overweight because he does something, you know, occasionally,
you know, he will put on weight. He does yo yo. Yeah,

(01:29):
he does yo yo. Because then you know, there's film
clips of him when he's just in his dts and
he looks, you know, fine, Yeah, it looks good.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
He looks good all the time. Yeah he's Robby Williams.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
True. Yeah, but how interesting that he's you know here,
he is popstar, got it all. Still feels crap, still
feels like it looks in the mirror and doun't like it.
Do you know what?

Speaker 3 (01:48):
I think I've learned the most out of the last
couple of weeks. It's just, you know, I did assume
that most guys didn't care. I really assumed that you
guys were just like, yeah, this is who I am,
this is what I do. And I do find there's
a sexiness in any human who has that self work confidence,
that self confidence. But I'm learning that it's not that

(02:08):
at all.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
You just fake it better than we do.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Maybe maybe, Yeah, I think I reckon. There's certainly, I mean,
there's certainly are blokes that don't care. But yeah, I
reckon a lot more do than I think.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
I was doing this calculation in my head yesterday. I
think I have two really good mates who genuinely love
their bodies and what their bodies can do and don't
care what they weigh.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Only two, and I'm a true like, I'm a true
extra it.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
I've got a lot of female I've got a lot
of female friends, and there's only two of them that
I know that I just like, Yep.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
This is who I am. And I think it does
go back to your childhood.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
I think it goes back to how your parents sort
of treated you and what they valued.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
But it's fascinating with Robbie Williams.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Isn't it.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, i'd have thunk it.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Yeah, maybe if people were more honest, then we would
stop all this charades. You kind of assume that everyone's
going through the same rubbish and then we could sort
of get on with it or something.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah, and I don't think I mean obviously, Instagram and
things like that are not helping because there's so many
filters and people aren't even honest in their photos. No,
even the hot people are like making themselves thinner.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Oh yeah, And that drives me a little bit bananas,
because I know from having been at the other end
of the spectrum, like people who just.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Go, yeah, what I want?

Speaker 3 (03:19):
No, you don't, you actually don't and if you drink,
you can't eat.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Like this, it's just rubbish.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Does it make you feel better to know that Robbie
Williams is in that same headspace as.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
You a little? Yeah? It does? It does? It does? Yes,
there is I don't know. There's comfort in knowing you're
not alone. There's comfort and going okay, you know, this
is a bloke that I think looks great, and if
he doesn't feel like it looks great, then you know,
that's a sort of it's okay for me to not
feel confident about it. You know what.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
I would say this to any guys that are listening,
and you know, do it maybe anonymously for a nine
nine seven three nine seven three on a text time.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I mean, of course you can email us and stuff.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Too, but I'd love to know if there is guys
that just put their hand up and say yeah, this
is me too.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Yeah, yep, because it might help a whole pop people.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yeah, if you want to. Texas O four oh nine
nine seven three nine seven three, It's romun Terry and
Ki kiss Is ninety seven three
