Speaker 2 (00:40):
Hey Sam, Hey, how are you going? Excellent mate?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
You've got quite the story.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
Yeah, I really do.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Oh my god, it's time get it off your chest?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Is it is time? Oh my god, I'm like trembling.
But so, about five years ago, I accidentally committed elin manslaughter.
But it was an accident, okay. So I was on
my way to go get a bunning singer and I
was reversing out the driveway and I thought it was
a stick. I jump out the car and I had
a look. I just knew this was my girlfriend's everything,

(01:14):
this cat that she was madly in love with. I
ran over her cat. And it doesn't help the fact
that I hated the cat and the cat hated me.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
It was the cat around long before you were around.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
So oh yeah, yeah, I instantly just assumed that she
would definitely thought I would have killed it. On purpose.
So I freaked out and I quickly raised the bunnies
and I grabbed the shovel and my singer came back.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Did you still get the saying?

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Because I was originally going for that, and obviously I
can't tell her that party. I buried it in the
backyard and she was so upset, like she was just frantic.
I helped her make missing cat posters, but I actually
burned them. I didn't really put them around because you know,
I knew that that cat wasn't coming home. And then

(02:04):
because she was so upset, I proposed to her. And
I was going to propose to her regardless.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
She was so upset that you proposed, yeah, because I.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Didn't know what to do, right, So I knew that
she she'd always talked about, wanted to get married. So
I was like, well, how can I make her happy?
And I was like, you know what, I'm gonna propose
to her. Shut up this really fancy thing, and said, hey,
will you marry me? You know what, It worked. It
was a great distraction because she was so happy. And
then I just dug myself into a world would have
lies and it just got deeper and deeper.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, what does she think happened to the cat?

Speaker 4 (02:37):
She thinks it was stolen or run.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Away, so she doesn't even know it's potentially No, well.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
No she doesn't. She's every time she talks about it,
I just like die a little bit inside because I'm like,
I know, what, how do I tell her that? Like
she was pretty distraught, like she was mortified that the
cat went missing? Or want to fill it?

Speaker 1 (02:57):
You haven't got any other getting get another cat or
another pet.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Well, in that moment of panic, I instantly thought I
could try and find a replica, but I was like,
you've had this cat for ages, She's going to know.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah, So does she know about mound in the backyard?

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Like does she have a question?

Speaker 4 (03:13):
She did question, like the soil that didn't grow? I
told her I was gardening. So she told me that
my guardian schools were super shit. But I didn't really
plan't see it was just an uneedle patch of soil.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
So did you say you wrapped the corpse in a
in a tart as well?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
She said you had full murderer on it.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Yeah, I know, I realized.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
I really went, why didn't you just like be devastated
and ring her and say I'm so sorry.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
I freaked out. I literally went into freak out mode.
And now it's I don't even know like to think
about it. I'm like, oh my god, it's so stupid.
I wish I had called her. I wish I had
said like, I'm so sorry, like this was the stupid
that I've done. But I think I was just more worried,
like she's going to think that I killed this cut
on purpose. She's going to leave me.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
How long ago are we talking now?

Speaker 4 (04:00):
It's five years ago, wow.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
And not married yet.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
It's actually booked for next year, but I can't commit
to that until I tell her, Like I really need
to tell her before I even say I do, because
that's not fair on her. I know that.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
I think that is. Yeah, you don't want to go
into it.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
You don't want to go into a lifelong partnership with
a lie that's hanging and hanging out there like that.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
She's going to do.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
I don't know. She can be really petty, so I mean,
she probably will get back at me somehow, who knows,
but I think she will probably go full meltdown on me. Yeah,
I don't know how she's going to take it really.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Do you have, like like you live together?

Speaker 4 (04:43):
You have yeah, yeah, we lived together? Yeah, yeah, four
kids together phrases and like yeah, I don't know makes
it worse.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
What was the cat's name?

Speaker 4 (04:54):
I think she called it Rennie. Okay, like this sounds awful.
I'm pretty sure that cat's name was Renny because she
always called it Rinnie.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Are you saying ni?

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Yeah? But I only ever know that she and the
ginger cat.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
And so before you can get married, you need to
get this off your chest. So you're prepared for us
to call her. We'll be on the line listening while
you let her know what you did. Okay, my one
of guys, definitely don't tell her about that. You've still
got the snack, I would It shows a level of upset.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
That's not that. Okay, you want to do this, Yeah,
let's do that. Okay, Okay, let's get her up.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Hello speaking Hey, Shiana, it's Robin and Kippen Coreots from
Kiss ninety seven three.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
How are you going? Oh, we're great now.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
We've just been talking with your partner Sam and she
called us up with a confession. Confessions for cash is
this thing we do when people get stories off their
chest and she had a confession about something that relates
to you and has agreed to tell you about it
on air. Got Chahs all your sam taken away.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Hey, babe, Yeah, I've got a confession that I really
need to just sort of get off my chest. And
I think before we even walk down the island and
say I do next year. So you remember five years
ago and I helped you make those missing cat posters
and I told you i'd put them up everywhere. Well,
I I didn't actually burn them because I knew that

(06:39):
she wasn't coming back home. Yeah, yeah, yes, your ginger cat.
And really, look that morning, I was reversing out of
the driveway and like, I ran over with your cat
and I freaked out, and I'm I don't know what
I was thinking. I should have just called you and

(06:59):
told you, but I didn't.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
You're joking, right.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Yeah, I know. But I was scared that you would
I don't know I was going would leave us, Scared
that you thought that I would killed it on purposely.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
No, I could have accepted that an accident happened, but
you didn't even tell me this long.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
I think I was crying, I know, and that's why
I Okay.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
I know even help me. You know what that explains
a lot. That actually explains a lot.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
So because you were so upset, I proposed to you.
And I know it sounds like I did it out
of guilt or feeland manslaughter, but I swear I was
going to pose anyway. I just needed time to go
up thetories to tell you I'm really really.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
Crazy thinking that makes sense. Do you think the proposal
makes up for lying? Don't you then then stay that
it was guilt.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Well, it's no I loved I was going to do
it anyway. I just thought it was a perfect time
for like a perfect destruction and.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
One that happening moments in my life.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
What the she didn't deserve to reverse pucked into the
afterlife like that?

Speaker 5 (08:07):
And why we want to be ran honest right now?
And remember that snake they used to have. Well, I
left the snake tank open because when ring went missing,
you were so cold you weren't.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Even helping me.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
So I wanted you to feel the exact name. So
I left your snake tank open.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
What the hell just interject you, guys, I'm assuming the
snake went missing.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Yeah, do you know there is one more piece of
information that you don't know, Sah, Sam, where is the cat?

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Now?

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Oh, she's in your backyard. Well she's in our backyard.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
Dig her up?

Speaker 4 (08:52):
No, no way, no no.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
You can pay her to get committed.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
It wmon't be much after five years, but at least
now you know you can commemorate, you can visit the site.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Yeah, what are you going to do? Mate?

Speaker 5 (09:09):
I don't need to know. I'm actually just shocked. I
could have taken the honesty like in the beginning. Yeah,
I would have been upset, But to just propose, I
think you said to like, try and make me happy.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
I'm honestly it's not even a real proposal. If I
could go back in time, I order did it so differently,
But I would have did it. I would have told you.
I would have known how stupid it was, and I
freaked out. I did everything out of panny.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Did you say you.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Let her snake out?

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (09:45):
When she Yeah, she went missing and she was barely
even helping. She had literally no emotion to it.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
You are petty. You are a walking by her hazard
with lashes, and that is petty. And I just want
to say, if we can survive this relationship, maybe we
put the money the wedding money into therapy.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
First, you've just said really interesting, if you can survive,
what do you think about that? Tiana? Like, are you
going to be able to forgive Sam?

Speaker 5 (10:14):
Uh? Right now? I'm not at this moment. But at
the same time, I know that I was petty and
I left the sank tank open, and that's not something
I was ever going to be honest about.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
To be honest, Well, there's five hundred dollars here that Sam,
you have absolutely earned. Yes, what you do with that
now is up to you.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Do you want to buy yourself in your cat?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (10:42):
What could we just put it to the Water's wedding
because because we don't really need another cat case happens.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
I can safely say I don't think we've ever had
that confession.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
Like.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
It's just you know what I did this, Well, we're
very grateful.
