And so anyway, but there was the monster trucks were
on this weekend, and so were our boys being aged,
you know, five and three. And I had a couple
of other mates, Toby and VJ. They both have the
boys about the same age. So there's four dads and
four sons. Ye, and we're all just watching monster trucks.

We thought, yeah, why what do you mean it's a
fun thing to do, Like that's a bromance right there.

Yeah, they did the issue, they did the national anthem
at the start. It's very American it's like that.

Yeah, they did the American national anthem and then.

It was all Australian drivers and stuff. But just the
concept of standing up for the national anthem before watching
monster trucks just felt really redneck.

Yeah it did, we all did it.

And then the guy at the MC said, now, guys,
we've got two hours of fun on today, and Cory
and I looked at each other, like, what the two hours?

That's a lot of monster trucks.

Yeah, and I so remember doing this with my voice.
Oh my goodness, I know what you did.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
I bet I know what you did. But anyway, keep
telling me.

We figured out why it took two hours?

So the first part finished, there's all monster trucks, right,

They started bringing out the bike jumps and we're like, oh.

Cool, they set up the there was motocross.

That was fun, ye, and then they have.

This little bell, the little interesting something.

Stid the second parts about that happened, okay, sweet, go

And then there's these two clowns dancing around.

No monster trucks, I'm not no bikes, no trucks, and
there's these two girls like, I.

Don't have a clowns or something. They do floss flippy
and flossy. Yes, they're teaching everyone how to floss. So
the kids are well getting ten minutes and parents, you know,
we're supposed to be learning how to floss. And then
they had a laser show, which was very similar to
what you would just see if you walked into the

Was just like he goes and now we have our
amazing light show. Oh and your cabin.

What let me get because this was the trick idea
when my boys were little. Halftime, Oh the Kids Gone.

High was actually three sections, so but we waited to
the to the end of the second section and we
went out. We had a beer amongst us, and then
we saw a large amount of people sort of leaving
because a lot of people do have younger kids. And
that's when we all just looked at each other and
agreed on the same line and we went, guys, it's
all over, and by it yeah, I can still hear it.
It's still on. It's still on, and we're no see

It was it was only because I'm like they finished
all the main part and then they said, oh, freestyle,
and I'm like, it'd be like ten to fifteen minutes.
And after the second one, I've seen the two dances,

I mean, the boys loved it, but yeah, we reckon.
We gave it a good hour and a half. It
was a good hell, we just had to go.

first dates. That seems like a bad for me. That's

We ran to the takeaway place, and then we picked
up the time and then we walked home for a
little warm down. Who's home to Naomi's place? I don't care?

And then we just had some times.

It was like a five at jog.

We did like about five k's. Was that the first date? Yeah,
it would have been our first date. I mean it
wasn't officially a date. Was like, hey, do you want
to go for a run because we've seen each other
out of the park, so we should go for a
run together. And you did, and then we're like and
then while we're running, we should get some food after this,
you know, was.

It cold by the time we got done the food.

then had some more than you know, cuddle by the second. Yeah,
we sort of kept our distance a bit, but you know,
you like the smell of someone when you're starting.

because because again I was like, I drove to Mark
cooler and then I was like if if because I'd
been lied to a couple of times bloke saying yeah,

So I was like, okay, you're you're a keeper. Yes,
I may or may not have stayed the weekend.
