Day a Hick.

Speaker 5 (00:37):
Your schame is Handle, It's Cory's Little, Corey's Little made
possible by Construction Pathways. There's never been a better time
for a career in construction search construction Pathways.

Speaker 6 (00:50):
So have you spoken to camp Monster since he's been
picked as captain yet, Corey, No, he'd.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Be getting absolutely bombarded with messages.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
You send him one, though, you must.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
I did send him on a serious one.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yes, as opposed to homemade. I told everyone in Brisbane
that I hoped you weren't.

Speaker 6 (01:06):
Going to be the case. I think your words were.
It can't be on.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Stuff actually because I wouldn't want him to change his
way as of playing.

Speaker 6 (01:14):
Yeah, because did you guys play together? Yeah, like his kids. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
From under tens we played together and against each other.
When I got into high school, boarding school, he was amazed.
College I was sat Brandan's college and yeah, we played
against each other for school, but in clubland played with
each other cricket. We spent a lot of time together
in cricket too, but do.

Speaker 6 (01:35):
You reckon it was the most distracting in class like
as a would have been yeah, you or monsters.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
We both would have been on part.

Speaker 7 (01:41):
He would have been up.

Speaker 6 (01:42):
There teacher's nightmares.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
The two of us, well two of us in the
same team was an night man like we always in trouble. Yeah,
like cricket side the coach was just like used to.

Speaker 6 (01:53):
Trying to like just listen, trying to get puppies to
focus on looking around, no eye contact.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I do like the idea.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
I mean, of course I do, because I'm the wou
woo amongst us, But I do like the idea that
Cameron has decided to do a ritual going into his
first captains Captain Cy Roll for the Origin and Alana
in our newsroom. Is it true what he's going to do?

Speaker 7 (02:16):
Yees?

Speaker 5 (02:16):
So, I don't know how they've done it. The specifics
don't ask me. But they've got rock Hampton soil. He's
a Rocky boys, as Corey said, they've got rock Hampton
soil literally like inserted in his boots so he can
run out on home soil.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
And he's going to be playing on home source, on
home soil with him, so they make it.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
A slower He's already slower enough.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
But yeah, have you ever done that, because it'd be
the same soil for you, right, Corey.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Because I'd be struggling even more to run. That's just silly.

Speaker 6 (02:45):
You must have done. You must have had some rituels
though that you did, and you might even looked back
and think they're stupid. Now, what did you do?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Well? One of my small things was when I was
about to get ready by put my boots and everything
on to so I'd put my ring and watch and
like whatever. If Monty made me embrace it, I'd put
all on my left boot during my last song.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
In your I'd listening to before you put your boots on.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Yeah, and I'd always listen to the same last song,
which was your song it until you Can't Buy CODI Johnson.
So yeah, and then left left boot well, left sock
and left boot first.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
Left sock, left boot first, Okay, so that the bracelet
and your ring and stuff, the juju would wear off
into your into the shoe.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
And then it was just something I know. Every now
and then people would notice things and I'm like, oh, yeah, no,
I do do that, Like just energy.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Right, like that's bringing your kind of I mean, that
makes you feel like connected with your family.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
I used to not keep it too serious, like I
try to make the things that I need to do
all the time simple and easy to do. And yeah
it was. I used to wear the same jocks, but
that got a bit art when they started ripping and
I kept changing them, deteriorating from you. Yeah, so it
was more like that ain't gonna last.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
He didn't say he didn't wash them, He just did.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
He was okay, okay, it was just it was just hard.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
What's the most revolting thought of?

Speaker 6 (04:09):
Okay, you watched it, used to wash the same lines? O, yay,
it's not as bad. Thirty one oh six fives out number?
Have you got a game? Richel? We should talk to
some of the kids playing in his little league as well,
at eleven twelve year olds.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah, because they would start with rituals. People get, you know,
get kind of thingy about Serena Williams would never change
her socks if she was on a winning streak.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
Really.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Michael Jordan, known for wearing his baby blue University of
North Carolina shorts under his professional uniform. Oh wow, every
single game Wow, there you go.

Speaker 6 (04:41):
Hundreds of game Okay, so thirteen one oh six fives
out of the buck. We're talking about pregame rituals. After
we found out that the Captain of Queensland, cam Munster,
is getting dirt inserted into his boots, dirt from Rocky
so that when he runs out in Perth, he's on
home soil, which is super cute.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
And we know that with Corey's Little League. On Sunday,
we've got LJ who's going to smash pie that a
pie before the game.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
And you do something every day, Robert, I didn't reize.
I thought it was when you woke up, But it's
before you come into the studio.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah, it's whenever I'm in the building, as I'm driving down.
Do it multiple times a day. And if there's something
big that I have to bring to the show that
I'm really nervous about, I'll go and excuse myself into
the toilets and do it there to do it.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
And I think, I remember, because you've told us before,
this is what you do, this is what you say.

Speaker 7 (05:21):
You go.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
I covered. I cover myself under the protection of white
light and the saturation of the earth with no it.

Speaker 7 (05:31):
Just made that up.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
There's something something around myself with the white light of
divine love, healing and protection. You say that, I say
that all the time, and I usually close my eyes
and imagine white light around me and then trying.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
To project that.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
I put ice around the studio with white light like
it's all about being positive.

Speaker 6 (05:49):
And affirming a great you think we should think, turn
up and be on time.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
I'll contributed.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
Remember, I will endeavor to be early tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Like rather than just when the theme music's going. And I.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
Was already divined herself with the white light the last
half hour. But what do you do pre game?

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Blisso?

Speaker 6 (06:13):
What a cool name? He blisso?

Speaker 7 (06:15):
Hello?

Speaker 6 (06:16):
Hello, So what do you do? Is it before games?

Speaker 7 (06:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (06:21):
Before game is about half an hour to an hour.
I go to the bakery, get a curry pie and
a spinach.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Roll and a spinach roll.

Speaker 9 (06:35):
Teammates are really worried about me getting tackled with the
curry pie going through my system.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Fair concern and has never ever been a problem.

Speaker 9 (06:47):
No problem.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
Perfect.

Speaker 8 (06:50):
That was great fun.

Speaker 9 (06:51):
Because I was playing rugby union as well, So I
do the same before rugby union game and in a
scrum we actually push and that's dangerous.

Speaker 6 (07:01):
There's a lot of pressure on your abdomen in a scrum.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Does that ever happened on the professional field?

Speaker 5 (07:06):
Does anyone?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Yes, someone's pooped, Yeah, like they thought they Yeah, did
a little fluff, Yeah, followed through unfortunately and I had
to run.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
I had to run out with the tower. It was
but it was a little bit also the training that
found out after the game we did. Oh wow, Yeah,
it was unreal.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
Yeah, Broncho, long time it goes too.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
I'll never name names we now, not for that one.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
No, that's Bolt.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
That's that's a voult one.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Are they famous?

Speaker 5 (07:34):
You could say that?

Speaker 6 (07:36):
Okay, yeah, so hang on, let's just think about this
because it was ten years ago, in the last five
years of Bronco. It was Bronco.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
It was to go through the archives, it's at least yeah.

Speaker 6 (07:48):
Thank you, Blisso. Seventies us a number to look back on. Okay, Blisso,
I won himself one hundred one hundred million dollar Powerball ticket.
By the way, as do you Spencer for getting on
the show today? Well down, Spencer good made a man.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Who is full of rituals. I love this.

Speaker 7 (08:05):
What do you do? So? I am a professional wrestler.
So I'm an Indian wrestler around Australia and I spend
my entire day as a pregame ritual. So I get
up in the morning, throw the Lucky Calvin Clines on,
and then I'll go over to a cheese steak shop
and give yourself a fill of cheese steak for the day.
Once I've smashed that, I'll jump on my flight and
fly down to Canberra or Newcastle, whatever and performing for

(08:25):
the night, and I'll whip out the title belt and
hold it around my shoulder and just focus on it
and look it at the whole day. And then I'll
get off the plane, head down, get to the show,
say hi to the fans, jump in the ring, and
then once the show starts, I just focus in, get
to my whole show, and then fly back. And I
never take my wrestling tights off until the next day,
so I'll pack down the ring, finish the show. I'll

(08:47):
crash the night, and then I'll fly back the next
day and then take the tights off once some home.
That way i know I'm home safe and that everything's
done in gusted in the.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
Same tights that they get pretty sweaty.

Speaker 7 (08:57):
Not really, because where we're performing at the moment is
extremely cold, so everything kind of just evaporates before we
get to the end of the show right now.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
And this works for you on what level. It means
that you know you'll have.

Speaker 7 (09:09):
A good show, or it means that I know that
I'm safe in my own gear, but it also means
I'm safe in the ring with everybody else. So it
gives me the ability to feel confident in doing like
double backflips off the top turn buckle, or diving over
the top road and onto the wrestlers and the round
of the crowd, or just getting pumped up and ready
to go for the show.

Speaker 6 (09:27):
They're right, cool, that's a pro wrestler.

Speaker 7 (09:29):
Yeah, that's full.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Can you make a lot of money out of being
a pro wrestler?

Speaker 7 (09:33):
I actually donate all of my winnings to charity, So
everything that I earn, even my match and stuff like that,
I donated all the charity for mouth cancer. So I
don't take any money from it. I just do it
for the pure.

Speaker 6 (09:44):
Love of it, because you love it.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yeah, well, you call any time, Spencer and thank you.
You've got yourself a powerball of.

Speaker 6 (09:54):
One hundred million dollars powerball ticket mate, So I do
a bit of work for charity with that. But then
also what would our cut be?

Speaker 7 (10:03):
Well, look, I guess we'll go fifty to fifty.

Speaker 6 (10:05):
Oh wow, good man, Yes, I've Spencer. How good's that
