There was like it was like seventy percent Broncos fans
in Sydney.

Yeah it was yeah.

Yeah, you could see how many Brisbane and Queenslanders how
much it meant to them, like with the colors of
the flags, easily seventy percent.

So what's going to happen now to those players? Because
there'd be some players that were debuting this season and
probably up for renegotiation. When we talked about Ben Hunt
and and Reynolds and you're saying they're not going to retire.

They well, they signed two year deals so they will
probably see.

Them out and that's that ends next year.

You know that the center that played Queensland came from

So funny enough, he was here originally in the Broncos
when he started.

I played with him years ago, and.

Then they got rid of him and he was a
he was a gun back then, and he left and
obviously his career went not well. And now he's come
back and.

He's so what do youal?

Was he on this year?

Is a train and trial? So you get get paid
the train, yeah, and playing.

Get paid well?

Like, like what does that mean though to the average person,
like a basic wage? I don't understand football.

I think it depends on me.

Days are in I think some boys if it's only
a day or two, maybe one thousand bucks a week
because you don't really work.

Okay, so sort of compared to Reese Walsh he gets
how much I mean though.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
That the same game?

Yeah, So I don't think. And then he obviously signed
on a base contract, which it wouldn't have been much.
It might have been sixty seventy wow, okay, and for
a guy who's as good as him, yeah, you know
he's but if I got bonuses, so he might have
got matches, which is sometimes two grand a game.

So potentially for next season, will they keep him?

I hope?

So, I hope because of how much he's improved and
how Fay has come this season, he will you know,
he will stay for less. I really hope so, because
I don't think the club's got a.

Lot left, a lot of money left now when.

You look at who we've got, are we talking two hundred,
three hundred four?

What he's worth?

What's he worth? Yeah? I reckon he's worth he's worth
six hundred.

He's gone from this season sixty thousand dollars to potentially
being playing seven hundred thousands.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
You can probably get there between five and seven. And
he made the Australian team he played for Queens. Pretty awesome.
He made Australian team.

There's lots of redemptions within the Broncos.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
He was an incredible player before he left.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
And because you can't say he never had it, because
I knew he always had all this. It's just he left,
you know, lost his way and now he's come back
and you know, such a good story and payday.

But but you reckon, we don't have seven hundred thousand.
Would be interesting.

There could be a favorite of movement in the next
month or two.
