Speaker 1 (00:12):
I heard podcasts, hear more kiss podcasts, playlists, and listen
live on the free heart.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
App Robin and Kids Now with the podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
This is a conversation that's been happening in this studio
a lot across the last couple of weeks, and I
think it's the conversation that happens every time you are
serious with a partner. In fact, there's two questions. The
first one is do you want kids? And the second
one is how many?

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Yes? Huh?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
And it turns out that you two are under quite
a bit of pressure at home to review the idea
of having a third child.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Is that correct?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
That is correct?

Speaker 4 (00:56):
I would say pressure, But it's a chat, it's a conversation.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
You might say that, Corey, But when we talked about
it last time, you were so definite as to your
rationale as why you want to stop it too.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
I want my kids to have the best life I
can possibly give them, and I just look at you
know how much I can give them now. If I
have another one, it's going to be so much harder.
I'm going to you know, my other kids aren't going
to get as much attention because we've got to share
it all. It's got to be fair. But that's that's me,
that's how I like to do it. And taking night
in the same discussion, now she she definitely wants one,
and I keep saying, I just I don't know yet.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
How are you going to decide it? I don't know it.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Well, we thought maybe we could let people help you.
Thirty one, oh sixty five is our number. Let's just
talk Corey today.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
I'll keep around exactly the same situation. And he's trying to.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Cory today. You know, I already have my wedding chat
earlier in the show. It's been enough for me. Oh so, Corey,
So let's if you and look, let's go the other
way too. Maybe you actually have maybe you've had three,
and you know we can make you anonymous. And I
think it was a mistake. Yeah you think you look
banger two was actually enough?

Speaker 4 (02:11):
Do I have a valid reason.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Any more than two? So if you've had four or
five or six, I will always say having three, and
particularly three boys, which I do do, there's always one.
One's there and one's a spare, right, and if one
annoys you, you've always got a brother. And that would
actually be the same regardless of gender. Yes, and you
can never like you can gang up, but then you
can't because then they always change sides, and I could

(02:36):
never have a favorite.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
And there's always one out to get on a boy,
so it'd be odd one out. So it's so unfair.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Okay, thirteen one, six five. If you have more than
two kids, we want to convince Corey. Okay, I want
to convince Corey to have more children. And keeping desperately
trying to justify why two is enough.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
I think, Corey, Yeah, I think you should go for
another one.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Mate.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
You've got that, You've got a look at the size
of your car, You've got the room Monty's going to be.
By the time you have the next one, Monty will
be out of the kiddy seat. So you'll be able
to have just two.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
You'll be married by then.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Two kids don't deflect a family past.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
To Astro Alumina, Yeah, with the best story or the
best reason.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Five.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Yeah, well first it was just two, and then after that.
I think I can blame the Gillette the Gillets for this.
My mate man and his wife because they had a
third and they keep saying it's great, it's joyful, it's awesome.
Kids are all enough to look after, and then it's.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
More relaxed with the third. Yeah, I mean there is
more of an opportunity to forget.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yes, right, Well, even my partner, Naomi is getting involved.
She said Monty's great with babies. She'll be a big
help out of it. What do you reckon? Is it
to Neil from bray Parking to Neil? What are you thinking?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Well? I reckon the third one, easiest child? I have
six children?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
So did it get harder again after three?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
No, he's got easier every child.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Okay, I don't know about that. And it's true though,
isn't it that the older ones tend to help with
the younger ones?

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Yeah? They do?

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Yeah, twenty two sater.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah okay, No one's suggesting six.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
When you have.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Sixte is your last one? Basically raised by Wools.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Let's talk to Brittany of Albany Creek. You're on Corey's side, Brittany,
I am.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
I actually am going with Corey for this one. Yeah.
I'm a one to one one, but I'm also one
of five. I have an older sister and three brothers.
My mom is one of three and my dad is
one of three and The best way I can put
it is two the company. Three is a crowd grown
up and have had. My mum always say how much

(05:11):
she wished she had a sister and a dad who
has hardly anything to do with his And I've also
seen three brothers who have always had one singled out
or left out. For myself myself, I only see myself
having two kids because I feel once you have the third,
you have to upgrade everything, your car, your house, because
if you want to give him a single room, then

(05:31):
you don't have room for guests and so on, and
education so much more expensive.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Okay, there's also state schools which are free. Beg of
Fenny Grove, what are you waking good morning?

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Well look, I actually think I disagree to the l
Three was hard to me. So if you're going to
have three, go four, that's why I do it, go
out three or four?

Speaker 2 (05:58):
You reckon four is better than three?

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Was great? And I had a girl and a boy,
and everyone was like, oh you got your pigeon, pow,
you can stop now. No, I can do better. So
it's another girl and a boy.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
So yeah, two pigeon and no regrets, no regrets at all.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
So then I had like the two oldest kids and
the two youngest kids, and they all sort of got on.
And even now they're all adults and it's just beautiful
to seek. They all get around and reminisce and pick
on me and things like that.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Well, we have for you a family past to Astra Lumina.
It's four tickets, so you work out how you're going
to do that back.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
With all your kids.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Sat out one extra one experienced Astra Lumina and enchanted
night walk at corumb And Wildlife Sanctuary Astrolumina dot com
dot au.

Speaker 1 (06:49):

Speaker 2 (06:53):

hang on, let's go.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
She just said, Had you asked me yesterday the kids
were chaos, I would have said no. But today it's
the absolute breeze. The kids a lovely.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
When I'm watching them walk in the walls. What's that
you got the cameras I'm watching the kids, it's funny
as in the morning, right on kids them they're piggyback
on each other and once yard wall to wall.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
And how are you going to keep any change of
heart on your side of the desk?

Speaker 2 (07:26):

Speaker 4 (07:28):
