Speaker 1 (00:12):
I heard podcasts, hear more kiss podcasts, play lists, and
listen live on the free iHeart app.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Robin and Kidd Now with Correos the podcast we did
about ten minutes ago, Corey play a little bit of
Ed Sheeran, because when you hear us play just a
talking piece of Ed, some talking Ed. When you hear that,
you get on the phone thirteen one oh sixty five
and that will grab you. The first double pass to

(00:42):
see him Sun Corpsadium, February next years be awesome. But
we played. He was saying he grew up having he
had a stutter. I was worried that he was never
going to be able to speak. Probably now he's singing
and talking in front of stadiums, you know, with one
hundred thousand people.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
But you had one, Yeah, I did as a young
fellow growing up. I remember I just had had a
pretty bad one.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
So do you remember what did you have it? Like
before school? Like did you have it as a kid
or did it happen in school?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
It happened in school, yeah, like primary school and I
couldn't get words out, like I'd get stuck really like
and I'd be like.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Really bad.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Yeah, and I'd be so embarrassed. Like it really it
was really hard for me because yeah, I just never
had any confidence to speak in front of class, in
front of people.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
So when you had to do those things like yeah,
I just couldn't do them. Did you just not do
them at all?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Well, I'd always try, and they'd always trying to get
me to slow down and then you know, stop, but
I'd just get so frustrated and I'd just crack it.
And yeah, yeah it was Mum and Dad that just
they had to really you know, spent a lot of
time with me, and.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Like a coach or someone just coming down.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
I can't remember, but I think we might have got
someone to probably come in and help. But yeah, it
was just more about slowing down when I got stuck
on a word, like thinking about the word and trying
to be able to do it. But as a kid,
I just you know, you struggle to do that. Yeah,
it was really hard. It was really embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
And do you remember when agent sort of went away?

Speaker 1 (02:18):
No, just I think it probably when I went to
high school. I reckon it probably started going away. I
still have it, Like I still sometimes get stuck on
a word.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah you're fine, I haven't noticed it.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Yeah, and that's why, you know, I'll get stuck on
a word and then i'll pause, I'll really pause for
a bit. Yeah, and I'll either change the word or
I'll say it again. And sometimes when I say it,
I feel like I said it with an exaggeration kind
of thing comes out differently. So yeah, it was something
I really struggled for a long time.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
And yeah, that's a good. It's a good like if
there'll be kids going to school right now that have
a starter. Yeah, that's pretty cool to know that not
only can you get over it, but then your job now,
your job is broadcasting.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
You're talking talking a lot, and you will probably say
I've gone the opposite nowt out you haven't talking, but
you know read like we're talking about reading books to
my kids and that.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
You know, lately I've I've found myself starting to I
turned the characters.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
What you've gotten gotten so good now? Reading? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Well I started reading. I was reading the book last
night to huckson what book the gingerbread men? Yeah, and
I started turning into the characters, like you know, when
a pig I started I was set like a pig
and a cow and when a fox.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I started changing my voice.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
That's pretty cool. Yeah, yeah, you're throwing in character voices.
Now we should those for the podcast. Let's get it horror.
Can we do that? Yeah, let's bring gingerbread your gingerbread
because like the one from it the Shrek one.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Was a neon, it was there's a pig, a cow,
and then the fox ateing. Yeah, yeah, I spoiler at Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Sorry, well we're about to find out because your homework
was to not listen to it, but just take yourself. Yeah.
Reading reading hucks on a gingerbread man.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Soon, the gingerbread man came to a river. Oh no,
how will I get across? She cried? I will help you,
said the fox. Hold onto my tail, said the fox.
So the gingerbread man held onto the fox's tail. The
fox jumped into the water. I will get wet, cried

(04:33):
the gingerbread man. Jump onto my back, said the fox.
So the gingerbread man jumped under the fox's back. The
gingerbread man saw the little old woman, the little old man,
the pig, the cow and the horse far behind him.
Now they can't eat me, he said, I mean where

(04:53):
were the characters? You're all new.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Every character sounded like Monco Cory.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
In my head, I'm standing like a fox.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
It was good reading, but there were no characters there.
