Speaker 1 (00:00):
Brisbane's biggest game of hide and Seek is coming, So
as we prepare to get taken and hidden away in
a room together, the three of us for as long
as it takes for someone to find us with Brisbane's
biggest game of hide and Seek, we're sort of preparing
ourselves what is going to be like together. But we
thought we'd take this opportunity to speak to Corey's lovely wife, Tegan,

(00:24):
who's on the phone now, And Corey's going to stay
out of this conversation as much as possible, Tagan. For
those that's are familiar with the TikTok videos where people go,
we listen and we don't judge, So Corey's going to
sit there and listen. He's no judgment, isn't allowed to say.
But we could ask you some honest questions about what
it's like living with Corey. Oats, Okay, it's going to
be easier, isn't it. Tagan with him gone.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Ah, look, yes, he's he's definitely the neediest of all
my kids, and he's the third child that I never wanted, the.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Third child you never wanted. Listen and don't judge Cory.
So like on a daily basis, how much help does
he lend around the house, like just getting the kids
ready or getting the kids picked up and things like that.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Well, his day probably starts at two fifty five PM
when he picks up kids from school because he's gone
before they wake up. I do the school drop off
and he picks them up, but I do. I'll guarantee
you that when I get home each day from work,
the bags, the lunchboxes and everything is still on the
dining room table.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Wow. So he's like carnival dad right, Like he just
wants to do the fun stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Oh yeah, he'll have them outside on the swings and everything,
but yeah, everything that needs to be done still in
the dining room table for me.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Right, And what about just general cleaning around the house.
Who's doing the washing? Like who does on the laundry?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Well, actually, with him away, the washing will definitely be
halved because he goes through sets of clothes the day,
which is probably more than hucks and little toilet training.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
So why does he goes through three sets?

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Can you find out for me? What are you talking about?
What do you do? Train?

Speaker 1 (02:12):
And then that's the one set okay, So that's Jim
gear here. And then if I go do some stuff
out in the yard, there's another set.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Will you miss him? Definitely, We'll definitely miss him. He
there's never a dull moment with Corey around. He's great entertainment.
So good luck guys. He does get bored. He does
get bored easily, very easily. So how do you how
do you manage that?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
As his wife?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Well, thank gosh, we live on acreage, so there's always
some mowing to do, or there's you know, some gardens
to clean up, so he's always outside. So let's hope
wherever you go there's a right or mower or some
yard maintenance that needs doing.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
This is problematic because I think we're pretty much locked inside.
I'm not. We don't even know if there's going to
be a window, let alone a yard, so we're going
to be stuck inside. And so he really needs outside
time like a labrador.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Oh unless unless there's like a TV series, because he
gets completely engrossed in them and there could be World
War three breaking out in the toy room and he would.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Have no idea focuses. Okay, what about food?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Oh well, he does get angry, so you know that
you're going to have to make sure that there's snacks, breakfast, lunch,
and dinner.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Because he was saying he only eats like two meals
a day, but you're saying there's a lot of grazing.
Oh yeah, yeah, two meals a day. But his snacks
are probably bigger than Robin's meals, are they.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Well you should see the guy's face a click and
collect on a Friday at our local woolies. Like he's
just like, how do you go through this much food?
I'm like, come on, you'll see. And also the talking, yes, when.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Does it stop?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Well, I actually thought during breakfast radio it might like
minimize the amount. No, guys, I think it's actually increased.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Lockdown is going to be hell.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
You think you guys are going to be constantly entertained?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Any words of warning?

Speaker 2 (04:13):
No, not really. They keep like thinking, I'm lying about
my gas. I'm a bit worried about the gas. Oh yeah,
well that can knock you out. That's what candles.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Good exhaust fan.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Okay, it'll be a good experience for you, guys.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
It'll be a great experience for you.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Mate, you've lost him, Well, this is all I've ever known,
and so actually, this new chapter of our life where
he's home a lot more is actually probably different.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Yeah, how are you finding found out that foot is
over having a lot more.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Corey was very very happy when radio went back because
he'd been off for like the best part of four months,
and I was like, you really need to find something
to do. Like I said, you're getting on my nerves.
Were sending to time together and.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
You do you know what that will happen within twenty
four hours of keep spending that much time with him.
This is good insight. Thank you, Thank you so much, all.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
The best guys, Thank you an experience for you all.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
An experience.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Let's call it that.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I love all the best. She's literally concerned.
