One amazing family who took part in Corey's Little league had to pospone their Honeymoon so that their Son Rylan could participate on the day! The Wedding Still went ahead though... with a slight hitch...

Characters on Sunday at Corey's Little League. But when we're
putting the teams together, Rylan had quite an interesting story
and you end up talking to Ryland's grandma Rob Yeah, because.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
They came down to the training and they came down
from Caloundra yea, so definitely north Side playing in Corey's
a Little League. But Kathy was telling us that by
Ryland actually being nominated and named in the squad, it
was going to impact his parents. His mom and dad
get married the Fronday before, so the honeymoon's off, are

you kidding?
Speaker 2 (01:09):
So that so that changed.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
So we ended up being able to help out Hilton
on the Gold Coasts were very kindly have given them
a new honeymoon, which I guess could be happening as
we speak.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Actually, I think he said, I think they're going to
use it in a couple of weeks. I believe so.
But they called off because they got it off. Cancel it.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
They got married on the Friday before little Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
We were invited. Kathy said it would be a great
surprise if we turned up at the registry office, which
is in Anne Street, and we just sat at the back.
I mean, it's kind of awkward, and you think because
we've not met the parents, right, we'd only met Kathy. Anyway,
It was super cute and so Ryland has twin four
year old brothers. And you know those great moments in

your life where you're just the kids are dressed perfectly
and you just want them to be okay with the
moment that is going to happen. Well, that is not
what unfolded the bouth.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
He was just cutting.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
That sound, that that acceleration that you hear there was
when someone else in the crowd tried to tackle him.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
He was so cute.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
He was.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
The best part for me was when Rylan, the older
brother of the twins, he picked he picked him up. Yeah,
and he just went he just cuddled him, his head
on his shoulder, and they love him. They love his
older brother, older brother so much like the other one
was just sitting there like cuddling his leg, and it
was so nice to see.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
It was actually one of the sweetest moments of the
whole ceremony was the Yeah, Ryan eleven years old picking
up his little brother who was probably three quarters his side,
so like the thing four year old lift was extreme
and calmed down straight away. The other twin, by the way,
perfectly behaved, just stood.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Beside his big and beautiful little suits, you know, clatching
sneakers and at one point the little one was trying
to rip his jacket.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Off, hanging on for dear life, and he's trying to
hulk it. Yeah, let's talk about kids at wedding.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Oh, kids going rogue? What about antac day services.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
There's got to be some stories about when kids gone
our kids.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
In a minute of silence, can.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
You be quiet for one minute? One second?
Speaker 4 (03:41):
On board, Yes, kid gone rogue.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Let's go get it off your chest, Peter of Cleveland,
here you going.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
That's good. Hey, I just want to make a comment
about the kids blowing up on that day. Oh yeah,
I'm an ex veteran, and I'll tell you why I
love hearing it. That's what we did, that's why, that's
the reason why we went overseas and we put our
life on the line here the kids have a great time. Yeah,
(04:09):
and any veteran out there, I bet you would turn
around and go, you know what, Yep, that's exactly the
reason why.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
But you know what, Pete, I don't think I've ever
been to a minute silence for Anzac Day where a
child hasn't gone.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
Why everyone.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
They If you're standing there as a veteran or with
the other veterans and you hear that, we just look
at each other. We just just kiss ourselves.
