It's Robinie Kipp now a choreots on demand the podcast.
There's another podcast which should be up now, which is
us chatting with Dennis. You'll hear a little bit of
Dais on this podcast. He is a sociopath and that's self,
not self.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
No, no, no, he's proper diagnosed diagnosed.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
I wonder if you again to.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Give you context people when you google sociopath as in
diagnosed sociopaths, people like Adolf Hitler, Stalin esp Stalin, Ted Bundy.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
There are a lot of negative ones. Worry if there's
some good ones, good ones floating around.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
There are, and yes, there are people living in our world.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Yeah who are.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Because there'd be not having emotions like a normal person
could be a superpower if you would, if you were
to put it to the right. Yes, you know what
I mean, Like you don't you don't get clogged up
with worrying about how people feel about it. A media yes, yes,
Maia Comedian, Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
Because you observed, Yeah, you just tell it, cracking jogger.
Everyone is seeing themselves.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
You're like, don't bother me. I don't care people laughing.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Just when you google famous sociopaths, you're not getting a
huge amount of positive.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
You don't get the good, which is not fair. Yeah,
because this should be.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
We had a longer, like twenty minute chat with Dennis.
Some things were a little scary, some things were just fascinating.
But make sure you check out that podcast coming up
halfway through this podcast. So we need to talk about
p Didny. We never got to it on the show today.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Oh yes, his trial is continuing.

Right.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
The nation's not so much but he is.
Speaker 3 (02:15):

our Confessions for Cash.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Give me the ca CA with Robin Kid and Coyotes.
Speaker 6 (02:37):
This is Confessions for Cash.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Hey Dennis, you got to say mate, Hi, Yes, speaking Okay, Dennis,
what's your confession?
Speaker 7 (02:50):
My confession is that I'm a sociopath and have been
living behind a mask my whole life, and nobody knows
but my life.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Well, okay, but your wife, your wife, Your wife's aware.
Speaker 7 (03:02):
My wife is aware. Yes, it's a she's known for
quite some time.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
So can you explain what a sociopath is?
Speaker 7 (03:10):
Yeah, so it's actually a dated term that it's not
really used anymore, and they starts of movies and TV.
But it's antisocial personality disorder is the official diagnosis. Essentially,
I lack empathy. I don't quite feel or necessarily have
the same capacity for emotions as other people. And guilt
is a questionable topic for me.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
What do you mean questionable?
Speaker 7 (03:35):
I don't necessarily experience guilt the same way that other
people do as well.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Right, so if someone if for example, if you hurt
someone's feelings or whatever else and you're not feel remorseful,
you don't actually.
Speaker 7 (03:45):
Feel that, yeah, exactly. So it becomes a bit of
me replacing everything with thoughts with cognitive function instead. So like,
for example, doing something that I normally would see as
bad is only bad because I told myself it's bad,
as opposed to actually, you know, feeling any sort of remorse.
Speaker 8 (04:05):
Yeah, what does that also mean with the imoginal one,
Like you don't feel sad or cry or anything like that.
Speaker 7 (04:13):
So, like, I feel things, but I've been I've been
made to realize that I don't feel emotions the same
way that necessarily everyone else does. Like I don't know
that I feel depressed once in a while, you know, frustrated,
but in general, I can kind of snap my fingers
and my emotions disappear. So it's it's almost like I've
you know, kind of trained myself to react the same
(04:33):
way as other people. Just after you know, living with
it for this long and mimicking other people's behavior, you
kind of start to act like them.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yeah, well that's my question, Like how do you actually
live your day to day?
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Last day?
Speaker 7 (04:46):
You know, it's been a long, long, arduous journey, but
you know, it's it's I'm constantly overthinking everything. Human interactions
a bit of a task for me. Like I'm not
bad at it, don't get me wrong, It's it's just,
you know, I don't really have a default on everything,
so I'm kind of saying what people want to hear
(05:06):
and picking up and changing my behavior and tone of voice.
And everything based on what they put in. And now
that's not always the case. I mean I've gotten comfortableer
in some people, but in general it's it's everything is
like I'm acting.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Have you ever done anything that society would consider to
be dangerous or inappropriate?
Speaker 7 (05:30):
I've was a pretty angry guy growing up, Like I
grew up hunting in the in the rural parts of Canada,
but it wasn't really like regular hunting. My dad was
just kind of all right, here's agn every every rabbit
or squirrel or what have you that you come back with,
I'll give you a beer and a little They call
them cigarette cigaretllas a little flavored cigars. So that was
when I was about seven.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
Is for that.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Beer smoke.
Speaker 7 (05:56):
So I I learned pretty young on that that violence
is good behavior and is rewarded. But I'm not what
you your question might be leaning towards at.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
All anyone You've never done anything?
Speaker 7 (06:09):
No, No, I see, my dad was really angry, violent, mad,
and I kind of subconsciously made any effort to grow
up and.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Not be like that when you went hunting because of
one of the things, like for me, even fishing, Like
I really I feel so sad when I'm killing something
when you yeah, fish, well, I don't much anymore. I
actually got really sad about all the blood and the stuff,
Like how do you do you? Is that like a
power that you just don't get affected by it?
Speaker 7 (06:38):
No, I don't get affected by it, and I do
love it. I'm not gonna lie. I would never let
that grow into anything worse. But like, all right, let
me summarize it, like this cane toad season, I'm like
a kid at Christmas.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
It's the best time.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Yeah, because that's a free past, isn't it.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
On the side the fishing shooting, yea, I love it.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
I didn't know that cane toad venom can get you high.
And I made a horrible mistake when I first season
came here, because I have a little tomahawk that I
bought from Anaconda or what have you. Yeah, and i'd
have been just just chopping toads in a half for
a long time. And I did like the war paint
and wiped it across my face with my fingers after
and then uh yeah, about ten minutes later, Oh.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Wow, did your wife know about this before you got married?
Speaker 9 (07:33):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (07:33):
Yeah, like I mean two well before we got married. Yes,
when we first when we first met and started dating,
it was it was a bit of a learning curve.
But but yeah, No, she's fully aware and we work
out pretty well together.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
So when you say to her, you know, I love you,
do you I mean do you mean it? And does
she I do mean it?
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (07:54):
And does she think you may like? Does she know
what part is pretending?
Speaker 7 (07:58):
That's That's a really good question. And that's one that
my shrink asks me a lot, because she seems to
think that I'm convincing myself of things sometimes. But no,
I've like I've been through a lot of relationships in
my life, lost the field for obvious reasons. But no,
it's something said out about this one. And no, I
definitely loved my wife and she's she definitely loves me.
(08:18):
So there's so that's good news.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
Dennis.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Do you have kids? Oh god, no, no, really are you?
Speaker 7 (08:27):
No, I'll be I'm a great uncle. I love being
an uncle. But you know, the only thing better than
a child's laughter is two disposable incomes to.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
You know what, Dennis, I have a gammut of emotions
listening to you like me, I'm the.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
Kind of total opposite human to you.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
I guess, but I will say you have absolutely educated
so many people by being so upfront and honest and well.
Speaker 7 (08:55):
I really were that. I thank you very much for
saying that. That means a lot.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
I'm so happy to give you five hundred bucks and
say thank you, thank you, thank you, you.
Speaker 7 (09:04):
Have thank you for having me. You guys have been terrific.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
Yeah, thank you, you've educated men. That was really good.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
If you've got a confession, go to kiss ninety seven
three dot com dot au got five hundred bucks for you.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
We should tell you that we obviously spoke to Dennis
previously and there is about twenty five minutes on a
podcast where we went deep diving into certain parts of
the things that he just told us. So if you
are interested, it is a fascinating listen.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
It will be up later today.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
He has What's it like to be living as a
sociopath among us? So thirteen one o, six fives out
number fever. You want to get involved with the show.
And Corey just found a hunting mate and you found
someone terrifying Robert, It's fun, Ronnie Kidd.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Now, vicios, the podcast.
Speaker 8 (09:54):
Made a confess or something, So yeah, yesterday hucksad his
little tops footy stuff which is down there, just down
the local footage ground.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
So how old are all the kids doing that?
Speaker 5 (10:06):
Three? Four five?
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Okay, so footy training throw bit.
Speaker 8 (10:10):
It's just to let the young kids, you know, have
some fun while the older brothers are doing stuff okay
in staid like saving the young kids wanting to join
in and going and seeing the foot he is and
annoying the other boys.
Speaker 5 (10:22):
It's really cool.
Speaker 8 (10:23):
And every time huskis here, he's fine, like it's easy.
He goes in, plays, does it all, and you know
it's it's just good to watch him do it. I
haven't got to worry about him. But yesterday was weird,
like nothing changed.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
Got home.
Speaker 8 (10:37):
He loves having packs of chips and whatever, so I
got in a little pack of chips and ate them,
got his footy boots on, excited, got down there bank
runs out there like five minutes before it starts and
just starts runn around the little obstacle course and then
a little it falls over and a little it got
a little bit his jump got a little bit wet
right and made just water. Who cares, it's just water,
(10:58):
And then he's winging for five minutes about it, and said, oh,
you better start like, just it's water, you'll be fine.
Speaker 5 (11:03):
Put the bit on. Look, no more water, see beig
covers of water.
Speaker 8 (11:07):
You don't have to worry about it, right, And then yeah, sweet,
he's okay, yeap my worries. And then I go to
put him in the line to like jump behind the
kids to start doing there, and he just started balling
his eyes out.
Speaker 5 (11:20):
Yeah, I want mummy. I'm I'm hungry, mate.
Speaker 8 (11:23):
You're not getting your chippies until after because that gets
a little couple of hot chips after he does.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
It's so good.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
War chips.
Speaker 5 (11:31):
And he just he wouldn't.
Speaker 8 (11:33):
He's hugging my legs, just shouted, just just winging, like
crying out loud.
Speaker 5 (11:39):
Just want I want mommy. I want mommy. I want mommy.
I'm my mate. What are you doing? Like what what's wrong?
Speaker 6 (11:44):
No?
Speaker 8 (11:44):
I just want mom I just want mommy. And I
was like, I'll line up with you. I was like,
I'll jump the line with you. And then when it's
your turn to go, you go. And he's lined up
for about two seconds not bang straight back around.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
My leg started just yelling, oh mommy, mommy, mommy. I said, mate,
we'll go home. If you don't do it, we'll go home.
We're done.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
I'm not Now do you pay to do that? Is
that something like?
Speaker 3 (12:07):
It's not a lot, it's not.
Speaker 5 (12:09):
I don't think you pay a lot.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
But it is something that as a parent, you're paying
for him to be there.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Yeah, put it down to get there.
Speaker 10 (12:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (12:16):
If it was a lot more, I would have been like, well,
we're going to sit here and when I watch these
kids have fun. Yeah, But I just went I'm too tough.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
To tire for this stuff.
Speaker 8 (12:26):
I am not sitting here. Fifteen minutes went on like that.
The kids are runing around them and fun. I'm like, mate, okay,
I'm not doing this. You're not doing anything.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
Let's just go home. We live just down. I'm not
sitting here and I'm not copying. I want to go home.
I'm tired of I've had a lot of stuff on
this week.
Speaker 8 (12:41):
So I just went home and be off bib off
in the car like left and my mate that goes
there with his.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
They're like, Jesus, patience is short.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
I was like, you don't want to do it?
Speaker 8 (12:54):
Yeah, And I'm not sitting there listening to him just
winging and saying I want mommy, I want money. I'm like, no,
he can learn that. If he doesn't listen and get
in line and do it, we're going home.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Do you reckon? You taught him a lesson? You reckon?
He's going to remember that.
Speaker 5 (13:05):
I hope so, because if he does it again, we'll
do that. I'll be going home.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
Again even if you're not. Would you do any.
Speaker 8 (13:11):
Because I'm I'm not sitting there begging my undergone play footy? Yeah,
he was either tired or he still wasn't feeling well.
But I was like, look, fifteen minutes went by, Yeah,
that's enough time much.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
I'll ask you a question because I kind of at
three like.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
He's little borderline.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
Yeah, but if he was eight, what would.
Speaker 8 (13:32):
You do if it was winded and saying he didn't
want to I'd just sit there and.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
Make him watch, okay, right, and I bet you by
the end of it, he probably would have joined in.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Because I think that's the question that every single parent
has to ask themselves, because I don't think there's any
of us who have not sat in a situation where
we have paid money for our kids to do something
that they claim they want to do and then something
will happen and they don't do it. Yes, do you
stay and make them what ths?
Speaker 8 (14:00):
Just text me it's free thanks to all the sponsors
around Samford.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
Just time, then your time and you were tired.
Speaker 5 (14:09):
Exactly.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
So did he teach Hugs a valuable lesson? Or did
he show no patience as a parent? React and thirty
one six fives out number Corey's open to your judgment.
Speaker 5 (14:19):
Come on, g I'm true, give him sory.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
Please go.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Here now with the podcast.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Right now, though we're talking about Corey's parenting. Did he
overreact when he grabbed Hucks said, that's it after fifteen
minutes of winging. Training's over, Get in the car going home.
No hot chips?
Speaker 5 (14:38):
Chips?
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Yeah, someone has asked on the text line, please tell
me you didn't give him hot chips?
Speaker 3 (14:44):
And was it an overreaction, a lack of patience or
did he just teach him a valuable lesson?
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Which is what Teagan says overreaction? Paula of sulis free.
What do you reckon?
Speaker 11 (14:54):
Look, there's no right or wrong parenting. I think it
was an overreaction, but I think he's taught him now
that you make a commitment and if you winge, we
didn't have to commit to this. Yes, so you've made
a commitment. My son he was three when he decided
he wanted to play soccer, so he was he was
doing kiddy kicks and kiddy kicks it's one on one,
(15:15):
so he wanted to play soccer. So I thought, excellent,
I'm going to be a cool soccer arm So I
went to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on the
boots and the air, all the clap and I swear
it was the worst six months of our life. He
hated it for day one. I used to have to
like rope him into the car seat to take him
down the freaking training and he'd just sit there.
Speaker 12 (15:38):
Nag you made a commandment of the team.
Speaker 11 (15:41):
And then in the games he would just sit on
the field and.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Pick glass blowing zone.
Speaker 10 (15:49):
And then he'd like.
Speaker 11 (15:50):
Do zombie zombie and he only shirt up over his
head and walk like a zombie everywhere, and the coach.
Speaker 13 (15:56):
Was like Peter Peter the ball, the book.
Speaker 9 (16:00):
And he beats doombimbi.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
Over Michelle Oxley, how do you reckon him?
Speaker 12 (16:12):
Looking back, I agree with Corey because I'm a mom
now of two adult daughters in their twenties, and I
was a really soft mom when they were kids, and
then when they became teenagers and started drinking and doing
all the stuff, and then I turned and started following
what I said. They were like, where's my mom? What
have you done with her? And if I could do
things again, yes, I would follow through from the time
(16:33):
they were little, because, like the initial caller said, it's
children know how to.
Speaker 9 (16:37):
Manipulate their parents.
Speaker 7 (16:38):
And if you come.
Speaker 12 (16:40):
Across as a strong parent who makes the decision and
sticks bite, they won't mark you a US.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Why am I going interesting?
Speaker 4 (16:47):
Three one to take it?
Speaker 3 (16:48):
Go strong at the start?
Speaker 4 (16:49):
A strict Tamara of Joina. What do you think?
Speaker 14 (16:53):
Oh, I absolutely support Corey. We're a blinded family. So
when I met my husband, he had some strong rules
for the boys. But one of those favorites saying was
every action and gets a reaction. So we were going
away to the weekend camping at a friend's.
Speaker 9 (17:08):
Property with her motorbikes and the kids, and his.
Speaker 14 (17:10):
Boy hadn't been doing the best of things, so he
had given him the warning that any misbehavior or wrongdoing
he would be putting his motorbikes straight back on the trailer. Unfortunately,
my son did decide to not follow the rules and
his bike trake went back on the trailer, got tied down,
and he watched everyone else ride his their motorbikes and
have fin all weekend. But he's an amazing twenty eight
(17:34):
year old man now and he's successful, and I think
if you're were to ask him, he'd probably say that
dad did well because he's just awesome. So and I
think a step mum, I wish I had to let
him do a little bit more with my boy.
Speaker 6 (17:47):
My boy's still sister is great.
Speaker 14 (17:49):
But yeah, definitely, those parenting skills are amazing. I think, Yeah,
take cat off to Corey. It takes a lot to
do it, but I think it's well worth while.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
That's a massive confession to say that you wish that
you'd let your husband parent your his step children differently,
go a bit harder.
Speaker 5 (18:09):
Yeah, it's not liking me, and now he's going to change.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Still, you got one you've got one vote against, and
that's your wife. Outweighs all Now, on the back of
Corey's Little League, we met a junior reporter by the
name of Patty and and now he's a regular part
(18:35):
of the show.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
Yes, because his.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Tips are excellent and we want to get them going
into this weekend's games.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
He had started as our junior sports reporter.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
My tipp English.
Speaker 10 (18:46):
Worse than dropped me quite at half time.
Speaker 13 (18:48):
His tips at are still better than kipping Cory's though,
and he's back Patty from Straty with Patty's power picks?
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Did I Patty?
Speaker 8 (19:00):
Patti Strady, you're my favorite caller every week?
Speaker 10 (19:04):
All right, today forty fans off when in my ball
round sixteen call yep I said that the dummy half
would sneak over and the Eels first game, and guess
what it happens?
Speaker 2 (19:16):
You call the move yell.
Speaker 10 (19:18):
I'm back with my round seventeen six running pardon some
say on fire, I would say it's a fluke, I
say it dip Let's.
Speaker 9 (19:28):
Tip Tiger's Oversea Eagles.
Speaker 10 (19:30):
The Tigers love a scrap and mainly they haven't exactly
been flying targets might win by a whisker or maybe
a pounce Raiders overnight. He'll be ugly, he'll be muddy.
It'll probably come down to the last five minutes. He'll
be a classic Raiders move Bronco's Broncos over Warriors. The
(19:52):
Broncos are rolling and I reckon they keep the streak
alive at some cool Dragon's over Eels. I slipped the
coin twice and it's still leaning on the Dragons. They've
been sneakily at home through at home lately. Actually Dolphins
over Rabbit Oat Wayne's back at South, but the Dolphins
won't care. Expect Hustle and maybe a few rap bunnies
(20:16):
left doing doggy paddles over shot Melbourne at home, say
no more to get blown away. Cowboys over Titans. The
Cowboys are running high and I can't see the Tyrants
last selling them this week excellent and finally my bold
(20:39):
call of the week. At least one try from a
sneaky short side play in the Dragon's first eel game.
You heard it here first. That's it from me Cuddy
from Strading.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Well done, mate, tremendous.
Speaker 8 (20:57):
I've got I've got a little surprise for you too, mate,
But before you go, I've got an econder on board
to to help you out and match.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
A thousand bucks to spend it.
Speaker 15 (21:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
Way, we'll try to organize.
Speaker 15 (21:11):
A day.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
Patty one one thousand bucks as his Junior Reporter prize
and and e Connor is going to double it in stall.
Speaker 5 (21:19):
Thousand way way.
Speaker 10 (21:22):
Oh, thank you guys so much.
Speaker 8 (21:27):
Please got organized a day where the two of us
can go and we'll go shopping.
Speaker 10 (21:31):
Yeah, all right, on the holiday, let's get this thing moving.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
Get your patty.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Well done, mate, Thank you now podcast.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Halfway through the podcast, you want to kick off with Bezos? Bezos,
Bezos if.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
You want to.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
He's getting married in vas from Thursday through to Saturday.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
It's a three day event.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Haven't guess how many private jets have already landed at.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
The local airport.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Picking also, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
Ninety ninety papers going.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Hundreds like Kim Kardashian and a mother Chris Jenna are there.
Trump is supposed to be going, but his daughter has
already arrived. Yeah, we're not. Yeah, we're not sure if
he's going to make it or not.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Yeah, because he was Bezos was at the inauguration. I think,
wasn't it his Trump?
Speaker 8 (22:29):
I always wanted are they actually friends or they just
just billionaires?
Speaker 3 (22:34):
Yeah? So they're just looking out for each other.
Speaker 8 (22:36):
You can't sell, you know, best mate, you don't go
hang out and fishing together.
Speaker 5 (22:41):
We don't. Well, you just make millions together. That's all
I know about him.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
And if you're a politician, you would be very careful
or cautious about if you said, no.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Yeah, you've got to keep everyone happy, come.
Speaker 5 (22:52):
To my wedding. No, well that's going to ruin your life.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
Yep, that's right. I'm about to change the taxes.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
There was something funny though. There was a video of
them arriving by boat.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
Have you ever been to Venice?
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Yes, okay, I've not. My mum and sister went years
ago and they warned me against it because they said
it's stinks. But I think they were there when they
were dredging.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
Okay, So here's the thing about Venus. Every I think
it's summer.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Or like, at some point it is always all of
the water is out of.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Venice, right, do not go?
Speaker 2 (23:24):
Then?
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Yeah, I think that's when they were just unlucky. And
then there's another part of the year the canal.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
And then there's another part of the year when it floods.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Right, so they're all too and you know.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
That you're walking sloshy through water through the streets. They're
not the times to go.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Okay, the rest of it's I loved Venice. I loved Venice.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
It seems the idea is romantic getting around on gondolas and.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
And also like it's this you just get lost in
the back streets for hours and find really quirky little things.
We did walking, I Sean and I did a walking tour.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
We did too, actually walking tours. Walking to a Venice.
It was brilliant. It's stopping off it but yeah, okay.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
Yeah, they say they all see that place there so
and so they live there DaVinci Way. Yeah, you just walk.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
It's tiny little city, is it. Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
And it's the home of the what's it tiramasou?
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Oh is that right?
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (24:17):
His favorite dessert.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
You need to go to Venice. I'm just saying so from.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
Bezos to I, hang on what you were saying though,
they haven't fun, So what's going on? It's it's so busy.
Speaker 4 (24:25):
It was so busy. So they arrived.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
You can only get to where their hotel was via canal,
but they're tiny little canals, so you can like you
can go two ways, but you have to kind of
pull over. So there was this ridiculous scenario where all
of these gondolas. Motorized gondolas were lined up. The first
one was the security guards. The security guards tottle off,
and the next one comes in. Then Bezos and Lauren
(24:47):
is Beyonce toddle off, next one and then they're doing
this circle. Meanwhile the paparazzi are just going round and round.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
On their little dinghies or whatever.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
It was like some sort of comedy waiting for someone
to do something stupid.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
It's actually a dumb place to get married, isn't it
Like everyone's got to get in on one tiny little
boat because they're also narrow.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
Yeah, you got to get out, yeah, or you get wet.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
So you fly in on your fancy jet, but then
you over all. Right, let's talk about PDD because he's
in the news again.
Speaker 5 (25:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Prosecutors have dropped several charges against him in his sex
trafficking trial. They've decided to rest some of the lesser
although when I tell you what they've decided to drop
in attempting kidnapping, attempted arson and aiding and abetting sex trafficking,
they're the ones that have been dropped. Yeah, because they're
trying to streamline. I think it depends on who you
(25:40):
listen to, but it feels like they want to try
and get him on the big stuff.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
Make sure that they've got that long down. Yeah, because
you don't wanted to get messy, you want to make sure, Okay.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
I mean I have been hearing that people think he'll
get off with the videos that are going around, like,
how do you do that?
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Did you hear that guy? There's the adult what he is?
An escort?
Speaker 5 (26:03):
Whoever?
Speaker 3 (26:03):
They call his nickname is the Punisher. So apparently the
Punisher has commented because he's been in court reading this
story earlier, and he they played the videos of the
Punisher at one of the freak off parties with I
think it was with Cassie, the ex wife, and everyone
in the courts like wincing and go far out too
(26:26):
much like everyone's and p Didy, according to the Punisher,
was licking his lips and and even smiled at one stage.
What and they reckon? Surely the jewelry saw that. Surely
they saw this guy is not affected. Everyone else is
grossed out, and he's like fine or even happy.
Speaker 8 (26:48):
That's odd, strange, cat, have you seen all the videos
and photos of what they found that in his horrible
I just don't see any way of him getting off.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
I know he can't.
Speaker 5 (27:03):
He can't know.
Speaker 8 (27:05):
If that is, it'll rough.
Speaker 5 (27:08):
It'll have to.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
Yeah, stranger things have happened.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
They have people have gotten off, and that everyone is
convinced is guilty. They walk away.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Oh Joe Simpson, anyone, yep.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
The cops that beat up Rodney King, they had like
footage of them just pounding on him for ages. They
all got off. There was riots after that. Right, there's
no way. Well waiting watch this space now it's giving
(27:45):
away family passes to Disney on Ice, which is hitting
boondall this weekend as of Friday.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
Yeah, Friday through to Monday night.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Yeah, rapping. My boy's going tomorrow night. It was an
interesting one, boon. I said to him yesterday, his mum's
taking him. I said, I said to him, you want
to go and see Disney on Ice And he said,
what's happening?
Speaker 5 (28:06):
We are?
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Yeah that we ice skating and said singing Disney. So
he goes all right, Not well, only if they don't
seeing let it go. Said, I'm pretty sure that says that,
And he thought of anyone, Yeah, still all right, he'll.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
Suck it up.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
So we were lucky enough to have a chat with
one of the stars of the show, Andrea, who was
a fantastic ice skater out of Sweden. Loved Disney. Your
whole life looked like a Disney princess.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
Oh, she absolutely does.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
Yeah, and we had a bit of a chat to
her about all things Disney and about what we can expect.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
Tell me what the show is this weekend? What can
everyone expect to see?
Speaker 15 (28:47):
Well, what I love about our show is we have
so many different characters and we also have some old
school classic that I think a lot of people have
heard about.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
So we have the Little Mermaid, we do have Beauty and.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
The Beast, we have Tangled, but.
Speaker 15 (29:03):
Also we have everyone's favorite, which is Frozen, where we're
also meet Anna and Elsa and Alla.
Speaker 6 (29:10):
But now we also have Incanto, so we get to
meet Mirabelle and Louisa and Isabella, and also we get
to meet Bruno.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
But we don't really talk about.
Speaker 4 (29:26):
When it comes to Disney.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
We all know that these people are very Disney trained
and they don't like questions that could be deemed inappropriate.
So of course our very own kid white man couldn't
help himself.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
It's a very non Disney question. But given that you're
all traveling together and everyone's fit and beautiful, I mean,
is it a hookup fest amongst the crew?
Speaker 15 (29:51):
So we have a big group of people and for me,
it's like a big wonderful family. So we travel any
family and exploring the world together and we get to
bring all this Disney magic to the cities all over
the world, which is I think so wonderful.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
You just got a very.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Question telling me that the Buzz light Year comes out
on the ark that you're not going to night bars.
Let's catch up after the show.
Speaker 5 (30:23):
I'm sorry, look at that La.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Just absolute stone wall and I'm not answering that you.
Speaker 5 (30:31):
Did not hold back? Is it all why the Buzz
comes out? Just al tanked out on the world together
looking great?
Speaker 11 (30:40):
Was the.
Speaker 4 (30:43):
Disney helpstrong?
Speaker 3 (30:44):
Going back? I'll take you to Infinity and beyond, Baby Rob.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Now Choreos the podcast fays wall.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
Cruise.
Speaker 15 (31:00):
Jeez.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
Sorry, so this is something we were brought in to make
Choreo open up a little find out a little bit
more about Choreos a different layer.
Speaker 5 (31:09):
Yes, yeah, why me?
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Because you like an onion, we.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
Want to kill you back.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
Yes, it literally is a wall with envelopes, and Corey
has pulled off a pink envelope.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
I can open it up.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Okay, that's opening, and you must answer this question truth.
Speaker 5 (31:32):
Well, here we go. This will be interesting.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Read it out loud, please, Cory.
Speaker 8 (31:40):
Who's one person in Brisbane media you pretend to like
but can't stand. Oh I definitely cannot name names. But
there's a couple of them. There's a couple of people
in the in the city who yeah, look they're write
really brutal pieces writers.
Speaker 5 (32:01):
Yes, interesting, they do it all the time.
Speaker 8 (32:06):
They do it plenty of people in sport and not
in sport, and and they write it, and then the
next day they expect you to be their best friend.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
And it's like if you had someone write something really
negative about you, oh.
Speaker 8 (32:21):
Always during your career, and and I see it under
other people. And then the next day they go, I
don't want to talk to him.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
I said, don't.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Right, said, they'll turn up to a press conference. Yeah,
hey Corey, Yeah, nothing happened.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
So if you have you ever been instructed to talk
to those people by the Broncos, even though you know
that they have treated you bullingly.
Speaker 8 (32:42):
They always say you have to. Well, I'm not and
then they go, well you have to. I'm like, okay,
well I'm not going to answer their questions. And you
just ignore their questions. So you've still been in the group,
but like.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
A press conference and go hey, Corey, what do you
think is going to happen tonight against Canterbury Bankstown? Yeah,
and you just ignore it.
Speaker 5 (32:59):
Yeah, And then like from that person, what do you
ignore me? I'm like, well, what'd you write about me? Oh?
You know, that's just what everyone's saying.
Speaker 8 (33:06):
I said, well you wrote it, and wow, like being
here now it's very eye opening because you know, I
feel I'm really privileged to be in this position and
I get to speak my truth and my beliefs and
and just give you the insight I guess of the
way it works for us.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
And yeah, I just I don't like it how people
do that.
Speaker 8 (33:30):
And then and then like they don't expect the person
they write that about to have any hard feelings or whatever.
And in all, honestly, when you do something like that
to me, you always you're done, Like I don't I
don't hold a grudge.
Speaker 5 (33:49):
Like you could call it a grudge.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
It sounds a little bit like you.
Speaker 8 (33:55):
Go on my bad list, as in, you're gonna have
to do as whatever you can to get back on
my good list, because I'm not going to give you
the stuff. And I just that's one thing I really
don't like. They don't think there's someone behind that article
that it's not going to hurt anyone. I'm going to
write this about that person.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
Ye, but they would argue that that's your job and
part of your job is to be having media scrutiny.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
But all of us who've been on the other end.
Speaker 5 (34:23):
Their job is to report the media and the news.
Speaker 8 (34:27):
Sweet, were you gonna understand that when you write something
bad about someone, they may not want to talk to you.
Speaker 4 (34:33):
How many people are on that list?
Speaker 5 (34:35):
Oh? It's growing.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
Is there anyone anyone in this building on that list?
Speaker 10 (34:44):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Good water?
Speaker 4 (34:48):
And did they know they're not?
Speaker 8 (34:50):
They?
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Would they if we were to ring that person if
you had a list, would they know?
Speaker 5 (34:55):
I don't know, Well, they know next time I did
it all in?
Speaker 3 (34:58):
Yeah, do you have someone this and this can relate
to people that are not necessarily in the media, have
had nasty stories. Do you have someone in your life
that you are forced to pretend to like you see them?
Speaker 2 (35:09):
Hey?
Speaker 3 (35:10):
At the party, but you do not like that person?
Speaker 4 (35:13):
Okay? Step Family.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
Thirteen one six fives our number.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Robe here now with Corey the podcast right now.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
They were talking about people that you have to pretend
to like. Cory's got a couple of reporters yes to
smile and wave too.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
Yes, because Corey now has a wall of truth where
he has to answer very, very honest questions. And that
was today's question. Who is it that you have to
pretend to like? Back at Ridges Park?
Speaker 4 (35:42):
Who is it?
Speaker 13 (35:44):
Okay, technically this is going to sound really bad, but
it's my grandma.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Oh what wow?
Speaker 13 (35:50):
Okay, but long story short. When I was younger, she
used to She never used to like my mum. And
this is on my dad's side. She actually told my
dad that I wasn't his kid, forced him into courts
for DNA testing. And she's never looked at me like
(36:11):
I was her grandchild. But now she looks at my
children like they're her great grandchildren.
Speaker 11 (36:16):
And I have to.
Speaker 13 (36:19):
I have to pretend to like her for my kid's sake.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
That's tough.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
That is really tough.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
On our text for her nine nine seven three nine
seven three anonymous, it says my mother in law. She
told me I was a lazy parent for not toilet
training my six month old son.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
How do you come back from that? She says? Months
a legal farm?
Speaker 3 (36:41):
Who is it?
Speaker 4 (36:42):
Who do you have to pretend to like?
Speaker 16 (36:44):
My sister's boyfriend?
Speaker 12 (36:47):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (36:48):
What was that?
Speaker 9 (36:49):
He's just a bit controlling.
Speaker 16 (36:52):
They've been on and off for quite some time, and
when they're off, he says, you're not allowed to see anyone.
You can't date anyone, even though they're not together. So
if I say something to my sister then she gets
all angry at me. So I just pretend to like him.
That's tough to keep everyone happy.
Speaker 5 (37:11):
You know what you do?
Speaker 8 (37:12):
You need to get more people on board with you, Amy.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
And a non o, this would be good. Okay, who
is it that you have to pretend to like?
Speaker 1 (37:25):
It's my boss?
Speaker 3 (37:26):
Your boss? All right? How much information you want to give?
Speaker 11 (37:29):
Like?
Speaker 3 (37:29):
What topic work are we talking about? You don't want
to say?
Speaker 9 (37:33):
Yeah, no, not really. Yeah, it's just she says things
that are highly inappropriate that bosses shouldn't pretty much say
to people. But then kind of laughs it off like
a joke. But you know that she's serious of what
she's saying to you. Is how she thinks about you.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
Were so passive aggressive? Yes?
Speaker 6 (37:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (37:56):
Are you?
Speaker 3 (37:57):
Are you? Are you whispering?
Speaker 9 (37:59):
What?
Speaker 3 (37:59):
Are you at work right now?
Speaker 5 (38:00):
Are you from our office? Yes?
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Yes, you are from our office. But you are at
work right yes?
Speaker 4 (38:08):
Oh my goodness. How long is she been your boss?
Speaker 9 (38:10):
For six years?
Speaker 4 (38:14):
And she has no idea?
Speaker 5 (38:17):
She must be a good paying job.
Speaker 9 (38:18):
Wow, that's something about it.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Would you like us to intervene it all? I mean
we could call her on your behalf?
Speaker 9 (38:28):
Oh no no, no, absolutely not.
Speaker 3 (38:31):
Well no, we're going to send you two hundred dollars
to spend it game over, which is perfect for school
holiday bordermend all that game over Brisbane dot com dot
are you should? We send it to your work and
then you have to explain why you want it or
maybe not?
Speaker 2 (38:48):
