Speaker 1 (00:12):
I heard podcasts, hear more Kiss podcasts, playlists, and listen
live on the Freeheart app.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
It's Robin and Kip now with Coreo. It's on Kiss
ninety seven to three. Male Bottles filling in for Rob
this morning. And we have some very good news for
someone heading to the logos. They'll be able to see
Mail when she's there presenting, and we have a double
pass flights accommodation. All that coming up and maybe receiving
a logo yourself.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Maybe I have been told if the show wins, I
get to go on stage and give a little speech.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
I can't wait to see your outfit and also hear
your speech.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Thank you, Corey.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I think it'll be one of the greatest.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
You did tell us earlier that you're stressing about the outfit.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Yeah, well you would like it, actually both you would
like it because the color I've chosen is marone.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Oh yes, very good, yes, perfect? Actually good segue here
because speaking of Morone, one of our greats and somebody
who played fantastically for us in the last state of
origin is cam Munster. Today is a special day for Camm.
He wasn't playing for the Storm last night because here
today is his dad's funeral.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Yeah, I think the last few weeks he's actually taken
time to spend with his family because its Origin.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Because he played Origin. His dad passed away. I think
a couple of days before he still played Origin. Yeah,
played amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Yeah, I played on Round the last few weeks, Yeah,
he's been taking some time, yeah, to spend with the family.
And yeah, so today is going to be obviously his
old men's funeral, and yeah, I'll be heading back for
that because I've known I've known monster in his family
since I was ten years old, nine years old, Say,
I spent a lot of time with them, and spent

(01:50):
time at their house and yeah, with his with his
parents and even trips away stayed together.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
So right, Yeah, m is that just all through foot
he would have met him through family and.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Played against and with each other.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
And what was his dad like?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Just he was a great guy because he was looking
I know it's the standard saying, but he really was
just a straight up and down fella. If you knew
you and liked her, you knew it. If you knew
you and didn't like her, you knew it. If you
didn't know you, he didn't want to know you. He
just just a genuine fella and yeah, just just loved
his kids to death and just wanted them to succeed

(02:27):
and do well. And I remember Cam obviously, you know,
coming through. You know, I had a lot of people
that there was another guy that everyone kept saying was
in front of him. And I just remember his old
men always saying, just just just go play footy, mate, now,
just have fun, go play foot He don't listen to them,
who cares, It's all this is all about you, you know,

(02:48):
well you got to worry about other people. And yeah,
he was mass supporter for Cam. So ye're going to
go go there today and and yeah, I'm my most
likely shed a fair few tears, but yeah, it'll be Look,
it's it's a tough time to go back, and it's
I don't like having to always go back for these
things to you to see people, but yeah, you know

(03:11):
it's it'll be nice to go back there and and
just hear all the great words that everyone's going to
have to say about Steve. So yeah, it'd be yeah,
I'm yeah, it's a shame, it's it's you know, we're
going to catch up like this, But it.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Is a shame. Isn't it that we wait just for
someone to pass to celebrate their lives.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yeah, it is, it really is. But I just know
it's going to be huge, and it's going to be Yeah,
a lot of a lot of great things said, and
I believe everything. Everyone's going to have the same opinion
of him.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Do you have any worry about crying in front of people?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
No, no, no, I never had you. I never have
to be honest, taking his sales that I I was emotionless.
The time I ever cried was when dogs in movies
even and then yeah, and then since having kids cry
watching a movie and like a boy does something incredible. Yeah,

(04:11):
it's a really nice catch up. You know, they see
their parents after sixty seven years or their father's proud.
I cry with everything.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Now Brisbane listening.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah, yeah, remember last time we had cam on just
to talk about origin. You need to apologize because he
said as we said goodbye, he said I love you, mate,
and he said, see.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
I didn't hear it because you were talking over it.
So can you just love him paying back with and
I love you, I do love you mate?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Yeah, mate, thanks mate, you held it together.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Thank you guys.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Yeah. Safety for Rockie.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Yeah enough yeah,
