Speaker 3 (00:28):
The Good Day.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
It's Robin Kiff Now choreo Its on demand the podcast
We're all back from Vegas. At halftime, I want to
talk about the things you do when you get home,
like the first things you do when you've just been
away for a good week or so, particularly overseas.

Speaker 5 (00:51):
So watch your first dinner and yeah, all those things.

Speaker 6 (00:55):
Let's do it at half.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Time, rob and Now with Chios the podcast.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
We have been doing the show from Vegas for the
last week and we're lucky enough on our final day
there to actually catch up. We had a zoom call
with Nick Carter and bright On La Troll, who pretty
much the lead singers.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
Of the Backstreet Boys.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
And this was about four hours before they were about
to go on stage.

Speaker 6 (01:16):
Again.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Well, thanks so much for joining us, guys. We know
it's a big day.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Yes, big day, boys.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
We have to say, what a sensational show and it
was so good. It was so good.

Speaker 6 (01:29):
Appreciate thank you.

Speaker 7 (01:30):
Yeah, we heard you guys, watch it would love to
hear your opinions on it.

Speaker 8 (01:33):
Well, I've been side of the guys a bet all
the animations and stuff behind you on the on the screens.

Speaker 6 (01:38):
Does that take a long time before your.

Speaker 8 (01:41):
Shows even started to get all that ready and prepped
or does that or was it pretty quick all that
sort of stuff, because that was incredible, you know, all
the stuff behind you while you're singing and performing, the
spaceships everything.

Speaker 9 (01:51):
Oh, the answer is no, it is how quick at all?
It's not quick at all. We've been working on this
show since September of last year.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Well, it's it's been.

Speaker 9 (02:05):
A while, but there's a lot of a lot of
different pieces to the puzzle. Different songs come with different formats,
different video listen. If you haven't seen it, you got
to come and check it out. It's I mean, it'll
it will spoil you for any show that you've ever seen.

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Yeah, I can definitely say it was proud of it.
It was well worth it.

Speaker 8 (02:26):
All that hard work he's put in from last September.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
The show is incredible. I'm being serious.

Speaker 8 (02:31):
I've been to a lot of concerts and stuff, but
that was just an experience it. Like you said, people
have to have to come and experience it just to
believe it so well done.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Yeah, Brian, like your voice, my friend, your voice. We
were there on Sunday night and we saw you mouthing
some stuff off the microphone.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
What happened?

Speaker 9 (02:54):
I might have been having trouble with my ears, but like,
my voice is working progress, it's and it's actually been
coming out, which is like nice, it's coming out.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
It's right that if you did lose your voice, is
it an option for the other boys to do solos
some of your solos or that just doesn't happen.

Speaker 9 (03:16):
Oh, yeah, that's exactly that's exactly what would happen if
unless see two weeks ago, AJ was filling a little
under the weather and he came to me and he
also I think he came to the neck and he
was like, hey, guys, if I look at you, pick
me up.

Speaker 8 (03:29):
So that's just what we do, Hi, bro, this is
it could be a question for both, but it was
only one that I was saying for yourself that you
actually got a lot of charity sporting games and fundraises.
Is that something that you always had, Like did you
always have sporting ability growing up?

Speaker 6 (03:46):
Or is that just something you've jumped into.

Speaker 9 (03:48):
I mean, I grew up loving sports. I played basketball,
played a baseball. Wife says anything with the ball. The
cool thing about being being a celebrity, there's like one
really cool thing that's a great perk is being able
to get back to charities and things like at these

(04:10):
things are important to me. And if you can use
a celebrity to draw attention to getting people to donate
to help out, I.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Mean, what a way to do it.

Speaker 9 (04:20):
And I know, Nick, like you talk about this all
the time, like we've we've performed in the ash planthem
in on baseball fields, a World Series, at at Super
Bowls and it's.

Speaker 7 (04:31):
Like it's like you're living a dream.

Speaker 9 (04:33):
And you get to walk out there on that field
and sell the grass like you're a little kid. Yeah,
And it's just a big perk about you know, do
what we do.

Speaker 6 (04:41):
That's exactly right.

Speaker 8 (04:42):
And I asked that question you would have heard of
the n r L that comes to Vegas every year
the last few years or you might not or not sure.

Speaker 6 (04:49):
It's a big it's a it's the biggest stry.

Speaker 8 (04:51):
In rugby rugby league, rugby league, National Rugby League. Guy
that comes to the stride is so yeah, that's what
I'll play that for twelve years and I'll just race them, Todd.
But uh, I actually thought i'd ask, would you ever
want to come to a charity game of rugby league?

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Why not?

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (05:09):
I love I mean, listen, we are big American football
leagues fans, baseball fans, sports fans, and I think it's
organically when you have conversations like this as somebody invites you.
Uh yeah, we take up the offers all the time.
We think it'd be great. Brian and I we would
when we were traveling internationally all the time we would
be watching it. That's how we learned about international sports,

(05:32):
and we learned about rugby. We love watching rugby because
we're like, we know about the rugby players talking smack
about Oh you really think you know what?

Speaker 10 (05:41):
You're like?

Speaker 6 (05:42):
How to hit?

Speaker 11 (05:42):
Are you?

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Take the helmet off?

Speaker 6 (05:45):
Take off?

Speaker 8 (05:52):
All causes like fourteen surgeries and not being able to
move too well.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
But it's a great guy to play. Trust me.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
That's when Corey says not move too well, he made
it because he actually did. In order for us to
come to Vegas and see your show, our boss said
him the challenge of becoming a backstreet boy. So he
learnt an attired dance routine, sang the songs as a
clip up on Instagram if you want to check it
out later.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
But he was like some type of broken.

Speaker 8 (06:18):
Road robots you have at the end of your show
and they're dancing. I thought you'd got that from me.

Speaker 12 (06:27):
I want to see.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
Rugby players dancing to our music.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Yeah, what do they call those those.

Speaker 7 (06:32):
Mob flash dance flash?

Speaker 6 (06:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (06:37):
It continue our chat with Nick and Brian from the
Backstreet Boys in just a minute.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Now with.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
We're back from.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Vegas where we've got to see the Backstreet Boys perform
live at the Sphere. Corey got to live out his
dream growing up in the country singing. Backstreet Boys even
put together a performance for the boys, which I hope.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
They have since.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Watched, because we do get to chat with both Nick
and Bryan from the Backstreet.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
Boys who were about to go on stage.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
So their residency in the Sphere, they're there every week,
but it's only Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
So guys, are you back in Vegas or do you
not leave during the residency.

Speaker 7 (07:29):
I don't leave because I live here. Oh yeah, I've
been living here since twenty seventeen. When we did our
first residency. I've moved here with my son and then
just basically stayed and both my daughters were born here
and so I'm pretty in a big part of the

(07:50):
community out here. So just having the residency a sphere
is just it's a little easier for me, but sometimes
not because then I'm required to come back home and
jump right into daddy mode.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
So I got a play double duty.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
But it's great.

Speaker 6 (08:05):
So you got three kids out of ten, is that right? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (08:09):
My son's nine, my middle daughters five, and youngest is four.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
That's very busy times that.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Either because we're all talking about us going home. We're
flying back to Australia today, and by the time when
we land, we're going straight into parent mode and we're
like tempted to book a hotel so just have a
bit of time to rest before we have to parent them.

Speaker 9 (08:28):
Media, it's chomping right back into daddy brook.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
Hey, speaking of kids, Nick, with your kids, given that
you started so young, you know, you were famous at
twelve years old, that's when you were with the Backstory Boys.
So would you encourage your kids to enter the industry
at a young age or would you rather they hold off, like,
how are you advising them as far as the entertainment industry?

Speaker 6 (08:50):
Now, no, that's.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Not at all or just not.

Speaker 7 (08:57):
I'm going to tell you why, because my situation was unique.
I started. I met the guys when I was basically
turning thirteen. I was twelve years old, and you know,
my situation, my story happens to be there.

Speaker 9 (09:10):
You know.

Speaker 7 (09:10):
I came from a family that we had nothing, you know,
really with middle lower class family, five kids, and my
mother and father kind of saw an opportunity to utilize
my talents, you know, for the benefit of the family.
But at the same time, I was blessed because I
was able to meet my four brothers and the Backstreet

(09:30):
boys who essentially kind of, like i'd say, rescued me
in a lot of ways. And so for me, if
I look back, you know, a kid basically working and
providing for his family at the age of twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, six,
and seventy eighteen all the way up to year an adult,

(09:50):
it's it's not it's not the right thing to do,
you know what I'm saying. But I don't look back
and say, Okay, well, you know, I regret it. Because
I'm grateful that I've learned a lot through that trial
and error experience of my life. Answering your question, when
I look at my children, I just want them to

(10:11):
have a normal life. I wanted to go to high
school college. I want them to be educated. I want
them to play sports. I want them to do all
the things that I really wanted to do and didn't
get an opportunity to do.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Brian, what about you, because I've seen clips of your
son Bailey saying he wishes he wanted to do something else,
but the entertainment industry is where he wants to be.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
What advice do you give him?

Speaker 9 (10:36):
You have to put on our father caps, you know,
our dad caps, just because you know, just because I'm
in this business. I would never push Bailey to do
it because it's tough, just like Nick said, but he
has he has an amazing gift and that you know,

(10:57):
I don't want her. I don't want to ever limit
him in any way possible. You know, I felt like,
you know, like like Ick was saying, growing up in
this business and being young. You know, I was eighteen
when we started this. I was twenty two years old
when I met my wife and that's the son. That's
the age of my son. Now he's twenty two. I'm like,

(11:19):
oh my gosh, don't get married just yet.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Don't lock it up.

Speaker 6 (11:26):
That's so fun.

Speaker 9 (11:28):
Don't want to be a great as.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
What it's like.

Speaker 9 (11:32):
This is a true joy. I mean, like dads are
supposed to be nothing but supportive, just like makes that
and and for baby to for baby pick up a
guitar and self like self teach himself how to play.
It's it's a it's an inspiration. It's it's really truly
an inspiration, even to me, because it's like something that

(11:53):
I if I had a little bit to do with it,
Like it makes me so proud. But he's such a
great songwriter, he's such a great entertainer. He's doing a little, small,
little tour in the southeast. I'm gonna be roadie. Yeah,
I'll be bus driver, I'll be back behind. I'll be
there to support in an exact way possible. But but

(12:14):
this is his journey man. It has nothing really to
do with me, has everything to do with wherever he
wants to go.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
So, guys, are you planning on bringing this to a
down under? Can we see you in Brisbane? Anytime soon.
I know it won't be this fear experience, but so
many people in Australia with us coming here have said
they have to see you again.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
All right, yeah, I mean I hope.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
So yeah, you're just like moving your eyes a bit,
like have you planned this.

Speaker 13 (12:52):
Not?

Speaker 9 (12:52):
You know, not yet, Like let's just let's just be honest,
let's break it down. You know, we've got a lot
of shows left here at the Sphere. There's some talk,
there's some talk about us coming back next year. We
don't know that yet. It's it's still just talk. We again,
it takes a lot of things to plan. There's a

(13:13):
lot of logistics that go into us traveling around the world.
So but yeah, I mean eventually, once this residency is
over and done with, we'd like to take the show
on the road. That would be nothing but a blessing
to do to give back to our fans. So we'll
see so hopefully down under it.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
That's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Okay, Well, guys, I will say that I have seen
Freddie Mercury perform with Queen, I've seen a c d
C live, but you, guys, and what you did at
the Sphere was by far the best concept I have
ever seen in my life. So thank you so.

Speaker 7 (13:55):
Much, Thank you. We really appreciate that.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
Thanks so much. Thanks yous.

Speaker 9 (14:06):
Don't hurt yourself on the rugby field.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Now with the podcast, so.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
We want to know about your traveling companions because we've
just come back from Vegas having traveled together.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
And we were together a lot of time. It wasn't
just the five hours of the show, but you know,
we were meeting up and having to do other things.
Now we had access to a car, yep. But you
got to remember, of course in America, they drive on
the other side of the road and the driver sits
on the other side of the car.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
I do have to admit the one time when I
was driving, so funny, I went and got in the range,
you know, I went and sat in the passenger side.

Speaker 6 (14:44):
Where other side.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
You know what.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
There were five of.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Us on this trip, Ali Kelsey, our social media guru,
myself and the guys and the three of us girls
had no interest whatsoever in driving at all. These two,
on the other hand, would fight for the privilege and
then would fight while the other one was behind the wheel. Voice,
there's a.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Sign changed into the car park, So are you telling
him what to do.

Speaker 9 (15:13):
How's that going for you, kid?

Speaker 5 (15:14):
I'm not enjoying it. Hang which Slane's bar?

Speaker 6 (15:17):
Remember far?

Speaker 5 (15:19):
What does that mean?

Speaker 6 (15:20):
That's the opposite. It's class right.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Into the car park?

Speaker 5 (15:27):
Tight right, tight, right, I am going tight, not helping anyone.

Speaker 6 (15:31):
You go to the back.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
You wanted him to sit next to you.

Speaker 6 (15:36):
I changed my mind.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
My least favors when Corey goes just go straight And
what he meant was take the right.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Were on freeways, and the freeways in Vegas are nothing
like the ones here, Like they have exits that go
A and B and they come directly after each other.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
And you know, given as measurements in feet three hundred feet.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Just to be clear, yes, would you two ever travel
together again?

Speaker 4 (16:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (16:06):
That was fine, that's fine. Yeah, it was good.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
So is there anyone you wouldn't.

Speaker 8 (16:10):
You didn't see this and I read when we weren't arguing,
we're having fun.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
You wouldn't travel with Broncos captain.

Speaker 8 (16:19):
Why because he just goes in every sneaker store you
could possibly see.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
A shopper loves it.

Speaker 8 (16:25):
And I said, if you don't buy something in one
of these shops in the next ten minutes, I'm going
to throw one at It was fifty sneaker stores.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
I'm not saying I'm being serious fifty. I reckon we
walked in last week.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
He's a true shopper. He's thinking that if there's another
sneaker store around the corner, they might have better deals
with better selection.

Speaker 6 (16:46):
No more deals, it's just more selection.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
He just wants more.

Speaker 6 (16:49):
And he just walks in there and looks at him,
goes next one. We were just saying it for fifty minutes?
Can we rest?

Speaker 4 (16:56):
I wouldn't travel with my mate jed with other people short,
but not just the two of us, because I think
there's a story you'll hear on our podcast if you
want to go and check the podcast of when he
nearly died on a talk talk trying to still on
the back of a TikTok. He's the most dangerous person
I've ever try, and I will never do that. I mean,
it's fun, it made for good stories, but stressful. Trying
to keep someone alive on holidays is stressful.

Speaker 6 (17:17):
Trying to keep you on time is stressful.

Speaker 5 (17:20):
That is very stressful.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Yeah, guess who left his passport locked into the room
we checked out or and only realized ten minutes before
we were going to get go to the airport.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Yeah, that was in the safe Yeah, he was safe.
Who would you never travel with again?

Speaker 5 (17:38):
Is our question? Thirteen one oh six five up.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Now Coorios the podcast.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Talking about people you would never travel with again? Tends
to be an overseas trip.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Yeah, because you're stuck in a place with someone who
may not have the same values that you do. Yes,
or maybe irritating.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
Yes. Have you got someone rob between you two?

Speaker 14 (18:01):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Okay, So what I would say about traveling with you two?
And I reckon Ali and Kelsey who are traveled with
us as well. Kelsey does our social media, Allie is
our boss. As long as everyone wanted to do what
you guys wanted to do, Yeah, it was fine if
we wanted to do something different. Yes, you were not
going to change your plans. So the last night we'd

(18:24):
all talked about having a great night together.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Yes, you two wanted to do top golf. Yes, none
of the three of us.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Wanted to do top golf.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
And in the end we were missing one member.

Speaker 5 (18:37):
Who were missing in the end?

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Okay, please don't tell me you don't remember who wasn't.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
There a right? Yes?

Speaker 1 (18:43):
So if we've done things together that we all wanted
to do, we would have had a last night of fun.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
Yeah, we did have a night of fun. No, we
have your top fight.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
No, we just had to tag along to your fun.
And that was kind of how the trip went.

Speaker 5 (18:59):
So we definitely did shopping trips that we did.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Not want to.

Speaker 13 (19:05):
Us.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
Yes, we were.

Speaker 9 (19:06):
We were.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
We're going to start fighting now.

Speaker 5 (19:08):
So there were.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Two lots of outlets. Kelsey and I'd been to that
outlet outlet once before, Yes, but you wanted to go there,
so you went. Then you wanted to go back to
that outfit outlet because you hadn't bought what you needed
to buy. Yes, And Kelsey and are like, we've already
been there twice. Can we go to the other outlet?

Speaker 6 (19:26):
You're more expensive?

Speaker 1 (19:27):
You know they had the car they went to the
outs the more expensive, Yeah, they were, and they were
closer that you could have gone.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
You could take anybody.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
You want.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
So who would you never travel with again overseas? Is
the question. We got double passes to the Big Pineapple Festival.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Samantha A. Vicki Poine.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Who is it?

Speaker 11 (19:46):
So it's my son?

Speaker 5 (19:48):
Right? Why?

Speaker 14 (19:52):
Well, my son who was just turned twenty one, decided
the last night before we were flying home that he
would go out and experience alcohol for the first time
and completely got absolutely wasted. And all I wanted to
do was fly home nice and quietly and peacefully. And
all I listened to the whole time was how rough

(20:12):
it was, how loud everyone was. The conditioning was blowing
in his space. You had to carry it back. I
just wanted to grab the little blow up pillow and smothering.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Again.

Speaker 5 (20:29):
My sister, okay, why what did she do?

Speaker 14 (20:32):
She's one of those type A travelers where everything has
to be planned to.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
A t Oh, yeah, yeah, went to Bali and I've
been to Bali one hundred and one times.

Speaker 13 (20:44):
It's my sanctuary.

Speaker 12 (20:45):
I go there, I get drunk by the.

Speaker 10 (20:46):
Swim up bar and that's my trip done.

Speaker 12 (20:50):
She's never been there before, so she booked all of
these activities.

Speaker 13 (20:53):
Not knowing how far away they were.

Speaker 12 (20:57):
We spent most of the time in a car driving
up to your board and looking at the swings, and
all I wanted to do was be.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
Drunk or a cocktail.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
She goes at fifteen minutes to be at the thanky Junks.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Of Wellington Point who are you never travel with again?

Speaker 15 (21:18):
Yeah, morning, guys, it'd have to be the kids, for sure.
We did a European Yeah, we did European holiday last year.
We actually went to Romania of all places. So it's
like literally forty eight hours just to get there because
you got to go by Asian Europe. And basically by
the end of it, the kids were absolutely cracking it
on the plane like we were that family, the one
that you know always draws attention.

Speaker 12 (21:38):
We were that was us.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
Yeah. Anyways, by the end of it.

Speaker 15 (21:41):
My wife had just absolutely lost that and she said
quietly to my son, if you don't bloody shut up,
I will kill you. So my son, at the top
of his lungs, proceeded to.

Speaker 12 (21:50):
Tell everyone on the plane that his mummy.

Speaker 5 (21:52):
Was kill him. How old was you? How old?

Speaker 15 (21:57):
He's six and my daughter's ten.

Speaker 12 (21:58):
So yeah, never again, that's no family holidays.

Speaker 6 (22:01):
We're staying home because you went half the.

Speaker 10 (22:04):
Yeah again now with gloriosa halfway through the podcast, So
do you have a meal when you get home?

Speaker 4 (22:14):
And you're like, oh, this is what I've been dying
to have ever since I've been gone from Australia or Brisbane.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
I certainly.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
My boyfriend Olivia came and picked me up from the
airport and I said.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
Bring coffee. So he's copped off.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
On the way and I had a hot coffee as
I got into his car, which was great. And then
I just said, the only other thing I must have
today is green. I want the world to get salad.
And he did a tuna, like a seared tuna. If
you said the words it's French. It's in a South
of frontce salad dish without all the grease and grime.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
Because they do do, but they do do big salads
in America. It's just hard to get him not drenched
in something creamy, sauce.

Speaker 9 (23:01):
Sauce.

Speaker 8 (23:01):
They love cream cheese on everything. Cream was on the
other cars.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
I'm like, why, yeah, it's cheese. Remember I the dipo
ask it without sauce tomorrow, and you did.

Speaker 6 (23:13):
And they struggled. They just a bit rattled. I was
getting avocata on toast and it had They gave you
less salad. They gave me half of a garden.

Speaker 8 (23:22):
I reckon for most of it, and then I asked
without bos amic and it took an extra ten minutes
to come out.

Speaker 6 (23:29):
It's they were just like, I don't know what to do.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
Oil American food.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
The plate sizes like literally, Ali Abos and I would
share a meal together and then we'd still have maybe
two meals left over from one order.

Speaker 6 (23:45):
Yeah, I think you're doing that just the budget. No.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
I remember you two shared Narcho's one night, I think
was it before Backstreet Boys, and there was still enough
after you two had finished, there was enough Narcho's on
the plate to feed another two people.

Speaker 5 (24:01):
There was just two more meals. Yeah, it was just huge.

Speaker 6 (24:04):
I was happy with the portrait sizes that were good.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
Do you have your do you have your get home? Like, okay,
landed meal, what do you have?

Speaker 8 (24:12):
So the really cute part about this is when I
got picked up from the kids in Tegan, she actually
said Monty was going to make.

Speaker 6 (24:20):
You a coffee.

Speaker 8 (24:22):
Cool, she wanted to make me a coffee, but yeah,
She's like it would have been a bit cold. So
on the way home, I was like, we have to
get a coffee.

Speaker 6 (24:29):
Yeah, I'm just craving a good bean. I need something.
I need some good caffeine. So I got a coffee.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
Yep.

Speaker 8 (24:35):
I got home and then Monte was hungry, so she
wanted vegeminon toast and as I was making I was
smelling it.

Speaker 6 (24:41):
I'm like, oh my god, that is just like heaven.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (24:44):
So I threw another piece in for myself. Yeah, and
I had some Vegemontal toasts. It was beautiful.

Speaker 8 (24:51):
But then at dinner think I was like, what do
you want?

Speaker 6 (24:54):
But mind you? I wade myself.

Speaker 5 (24:56):
Does she sound like a bogan man? So what are you?

Speaker 6 (25:00):
Hey? What would you like?

Speaker 5 (25:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (25:01):
And I waived myself before this.

Speaker 8 (25:03):
Yeah, I was one hundred and six and I went,
look that I'm just gonna have a smoothie.

Speaker 6 (25:08):
You just need I need some healthy stuff in me belly. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (25:11):
And I grabbed mygranola and I cuddled it and smelled
it and I said, I miss you so much, and
she said you are a weirder.

Speaker 6 (25:21):
So I had to have mogranola.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
Yeah. Oh I felt so good, I said, Sosnaomi, I said,
she said what do you want?

Speaker 5 (25:26):
I said, oh, can we have? Either want homemade spaghetti
bolonnaise or thie?

Speaker 7 (25:33):
Oh what did you have?

Speaker 5 (25:34):
We had tie because She's like one of those things
is like we do it. I feel like we do
tie here better than anywhere else. Yeah, including tylers.

Speaker 8 (25:44):
Actually you taught me out of what getting some food
wasn't it while we were there in Vegas?

Speaker 6 (25:51):
In Vegas, remember what was that?

Speaker 5 (25:53):
It wasn't Chinese? You were going to go to Panda Express.

Speaker 8 (25:56):
I said, remember, because I said, I'm about to faint,
I need to eat, and I found this Panda Express
Panda Express plays and knew.

Speaker 6 (26:03):
Like, no, I wouldn't eat there.

Speaker 5 (26:05):
I'm like, unless you feel like a bowl of orange chicken,
it's not for you.

Speaker 6 (26:10):
And got ten zieros.

Speaker 5 (26:12):
That's right, straight donuts.

Speaker 7 (26:16):
Either of you.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Exercise yesterday just running around with wrapping the park, but
not really.

Speaker 8 (26:21):
Yeah, I weeded for like an hour so I can
rack up a couple of kys doing that gardening.

Speaker 12 (26:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
Yeah, and I swam, you swam heaps lapse.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
I just wanted to kind of stretch out and get
back into a pool.

Speaker 6 (26:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Doesn't Vegas feel like a completely different world? Yeah, it's
not even another country, it's another planet.

Speaker 12 (26:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (26:44):
I just explained, you're running around the backyard with Raffie
is like five by five meters.

Speaker 5 (26:50):
No, when we went to the we went to the park,
it was clear that.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
But still I didn't go far before us absolutely finished.
I was like, so, let's play a game where you
got to like keep the ball off each other soccer
game and then you just started running straight by my Stop.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
I want to see your footwork. Don't just run.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Stop this podcast.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Before we went away to Bakers to see the Backstreet Boys,
there was news about what was going on with the
Brisbane River getting raw sewage pumped in.

Speaker 16 (27:29):
It's hard to believe in a modern city like Brisbane,
but every month thousands of killer leaders of raw sewage
is being discharged into the Brisbane River. Problems started about
eighteen months ago when Urban Utilities was working to renew
one of its main sewerage pipes that travels under the
Brisbane River. The two hundred and ten million dollar project
hit some complications. Now, every time it rains, it adds

(27:51):
extra pressure on the system, and when it reaches a
certain threshold, the sewage must be discharged into the river
to prevent it backing up and overflowing into suburbia.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
Ice gross And when that story ran, we'd had a
huge amount of rain and we thought, well, we're right
next to the river here in Milton, let send Corey
down to get a sample.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
You're on a jetty.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
You're just on the rocks down there, reaching in three
two one.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
Oh yeah, god, you got some.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
So just bring that test tube back.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
I'll make you a coffee.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
I'm not touching anything coming from you. And you had
a full hasmat suit on for the occasion down I don't.

Speaker 6 (28:33):
Think it was built for me. I think it was
built for someone under six foot. It would have fit
you perfectly.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
There is video evidence.

Speaker 5 (28:39):
It's funny. It is funny. So and we've set those
that sample.

Speaker 6 (28:44):
Off for testing and the test resultering.

Speaker 8 (28:46):
Okay, Now, there were fecal coliforms found on the rocks
and the plate counts were also at a high level
of sixty.

Speaker 6 (28:55):
Now that's high. However, it's expected. It's a Brisbane river, right, so.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
Look is it?

Speaker 1 (29:01):
It's a real matter to be found on the rocks
of the Brisbane.

Speaker 8 (29:05):
Some one that grew up in the bush. You don't
swim in a river if you've got open wom enjoy
open cuts. Do not swim in that river if you
have open wounds, open.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Cuts about just an open mouth.

Speaker 6 (29:16):
But also don't drink the water.

Speaker 8 (29:17):
Okay, but look it's high, it's pretty high.

Speaker 4 (29:21):
We were we ever planning to do the triathlon for
the Olympics.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
In there is that we're sending.

Speaker 6 (29:30):
I don't think the Rocky River is going to be
much I think.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
I think after Paris is problem with the same and
the fact that people got really ill.

Speaker 5 (29:39):
Yes, but let's it'll look good on the cameras.

Speaker 6 (29:43):
But we also had another test of someone's water bottle
in this.

Speaker 8 (29:49):
And I just gave you some yes this paperwork, piece
of paper, A look at that bottles.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
Okay, it is not a water bottle.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
It is I have herbal tea in it called Sunrider
that come in little like little powders, and the powders
accumulate around the the sides of the bottle.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
Keep true that you're putting that in your front ground?
How long have you make that bottle?

Speaker 6 (30:15):
You reckon?

Speaker 3 (30:17):
How long?

Speaker 5 (30:17):
A while?

Speaker 6 (30:18):
Like three years?

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 6 (30:22):
The test and you haven't cleaned it. I don't reckon.
What are you sure?

Speaker 4 (30:25):
Look is okay you can't clean that.

Speaker 5 (30:29):
But anyway, look.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
The problem is you can't clean it on the insides very.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
Well, Just keep going.

Speaker 8 (30:35):
But okay, now we had tested we tested it. We
tested Robber's water bottle. All right, we did the exact
same tests. Yeah, your water bottle had a higher plate
count than the Brisbane River.

Speaker 5 (30:48):
The Brisbane River had one hundred and forty thousand.

Speaker 6 (30:51):
Your water bottle had six hundred thousand.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
I know you, which is not good.

Speaker 6 (30:56):
They said that is one of their words, not good.

Speaker 8 (31:01):
Calling Robert the swamp from inside the water bottle had
a years and mold of two hundred and fifty thousand yeast.

Speaker 5 (31:08):
You've got years in the water. You can in that thing.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
I'm guessing it's from which have a look at the
rubber rim Cory take that off again and show.

Speaker 6 (31:19):
Now. I can't say this properly, but.

Speaker 8 (31:24):
Candida intermedia whatever that is, yeah, was identified as the
main species.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
You know what candid fungus? Is that a fungus that
sometimes people get other places, Well, you often get it
on your feet.

Speaker 8 (31:36):
I don't want to say that because I know what
that word is other places other than feet as well.

Speaker 6 (31:41):
It's it's disgusting.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
You got the high blake out in the Prison River.

Speaker 4 (31:45):
That'll do me, like, can we throw that at the bin?
Can we throw that frank green out? It's got to go.
It's gotta going.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
The more exciting thing to do with this Frank Green is,
make those two drink from it now.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
Hang on, yeah, the bins. We're going to bring the
bin to you. Thank you, Todd straight in get.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Rid of it.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
It doesn't matter, it's not go you're drinking the prison.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
River now cos the podcast.

Speaker 5 (32:19):
We've just come back from Vegas.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Which legitimately felt like we descended into another planet. Yeah,
it was where the fraud was weird and it was expensive.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
It was forty two degrees every day, two degrees.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
I mean, it was absolutely awesome to be there, but
of course we all came back to big responsibilities on
the home front. For me, it was super exciting to
come back and a lot of my reno's have been done.
You're not finished, but a lot there's been a lot
of progress in that ten days. So that was wonderful
to just walk in.

Speaker 5 (32:47):
The house and go, oh my goodness, that's cool. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
The bad thing, however, was in my letterbox, which was
from the Brisbane City Council with the noise complaint about
my dog.

Speaker 5 (32:58):
Oh wow, while you're away.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Yeah, well I think it's while I was away. It's
a generic letter that they send out. I mean, I've
talked in the past about having a handwritten letter put
in my letterbox. It's slightly problematic because I was away
and b I've got builders and people everywhere on my
property at the moment. They are nice, they have said.
Brisbane City Council said they won't do an investigation unless

(33:21):
another complaint is made in the.

Speaker 10 (33:22):
Next three weeks.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
But I think I'm going to go on the front
foot and ring them and go, guys, I've got another
month to six weeks of reno. Can we just put
this on hold? There are just too many people. I'm
trying my best.

Speaker 8 (33:34):
Put them one of those dog a holidays for two weeks.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
That never heard us the dog after a resource.

Speaker 6 (33:40):
There's a couple of great ones around this.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
So what did you you? I mean, because you you're
a fair drive from the airport. So did you have
family come pick you up?

Speaker 5 (33:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (33:46):
So they come pick me up Integan and straight home
we went, and they're arguing and fighting the backside.

Speaker 6 (33:53):
It was great. I'm like, oh, straight back to normality.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
So we're talking about Hugs who's what three and Monte
who's six.

Speaker 8 (34:00):
And they get along their house on fire, so or
house that was fire was on anyway, And then I
got home and we unpacked the bags. They got to
their presents and they said, did a fashion show for us?

Speaker 5 (34:11):
Oh yeah, I love it.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
What did you buy them?

Speaker 8 (34:14):
I just brought them my heap of stuff from the
outlets store that you got up as before going to
just heap but not kids clothes and that and warriors
when I buy stuff.

Speaker 6 (34:24):
But I've done a good job.

Speaker 8 (34:25):
So yeah, bought them some shoes, a couple of sets
of clothes and stuff.

Speaker 6 (34:29):
So yeah, they loved it.

Speaker 8 (34:30):
Oh and keep end up buying hucks a ball because
he bought it for around and then bought rapping out
the ball, give that the hut.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
Yeah. So uh.

Speaker 6 (34:38):
And then after all.

Speaker 8 (34:40):
That tea and went in the office and did some work,
and I took the kids outside because she just said.

Speaker 6 (34:43):
And they get them away from me. And it was
so funny. They started playing around. You know what I do.
I started walking around weeding and poisoning.

Speaker 5 (34:53):
Out in the garden. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
So they're running around you Yeah, and I was straight
back in the garden.

Speaker 6 (35:00):
Monty requested we go for lunch.

Speaker 8 (35:02):
Ten pin bowling kids, you know, funds O time zone.
I'm like, oh, you kill I'm tired knacking And then
get home. Thing goes right, you got four job, I
went what? So I had to fix a couple of
things in just the bathroom. I just simple things but
annoyed me. And then she asked me to.

Speaker 6 (35:23):
Fix something that was a security system.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
And that's kind of important.

Speaker 8 (35:27):
I ended up breaking one of the screws. So then
I spent like an hour and then I just gave up.
And then she and then the kids said, MONTI has
this little box at the end of her bed. She
puts all this stuff in my toy box. Yeah, And
I fixed like ten times, and then Hucks broke it
again and I went on over this thing.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
I said, do you like this thing or what? She goes, yeah,
you got to keep it.

Speaker 8 (35:47):
I'm like whatever, sweet And I had these weird hinges,
like it didn't sit right, so I just kept snapping
and I'm sick of it. So then I spent the
next hour and a half putting new hinges on it.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
So what time is this?

Speaker 5 (35:59):
Like late in the six thirty I finished put new
hinges on a toy box.

Speaker 8 (36:04):
I thought I'd take me ten minutes and you've done
it over And I had to pre drilling.

Speaker 6 (36:07):
I had to get new screws. I'm like, oh lord, my.

Speaker 5 (36:11):
Kids and your kids.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
You haven't seen you for a week. They come up,
Hey Dad, can we play. You're like, get away from me.
I'm busy, And I had both of them, both of
them on me.

Speaker 6 (36:19):
Straight after I finished.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
I'm like, oh taking that's genius.

Speaker 5 (36:22):
Yeah, what a day it was.

Speaker 6 (36:24):
I slept well.

Speaker 5 (36:28):
Now.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
We got on a plane on Friday night and that
landed us from Las Vegas, and that landed us in
Brisbane yesterday morning.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
So on our way over we doubled our fridays. We
had two Fridays, and on our way back we totally
skipped Saturday.

Speaker 6 (36:47):
We lost Saturday. That's the best day of the week.

Speaker 5 (36:50):
We lost Saturday.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
I've flown back from the US once and I flew
back on the third of July and I landed on
the fifth, and my birthday.

Speaker 6 (36:58):
Was on the fourth.

Speaker 5 (36:59):
It disappears well then I'll technically go on a year younger.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
Yes, So when we arrived, you guys are telling us
earlier in the show what to what was waiting for you?

Speaker 5 (37:11):
So when we landed, I yeah, lost my bag.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
So I had to go through the dramas of filling
out the reports and things, so everyone was already gone
by the time I stepped out, got a cab home,
and Naomi had just put Sienna and one year old
down for a sleep. So when she woke up, I thought, oh,
this is apparently she's been walking around the house calling
out my name everywhere this whole week. So we thought, oh,

(37:34):
this is going to be amazing when she sees me,
what a reaction. And she came downstairs and she was
like and I was waiting, and I was like, hey,
you know, and she's gone, and then she's like, you know,
pointed at a strawberry.

Speaker 5 (37:48):
Straight away she started eating strawberry. Seems a little underwhelming,
but she's really mobile.

Speaker 4 (37:57):
She's walking properly now, not just sort of sometimes crawling.
And so what was really sweet was for the next
hour she would just just walk over to me for
a cuddle, and she's never done that so well, she
just and like proper headlin nestled into my neck cuddle.
So I got heaps of those, which was awesome. And
then Raffi's mum dropped him over, which was which was
brilliant of her as well, and he gave me, like

(38:19):
I reckon a two minute hugs. I had to pick
him up and walk around with him. He's six now,
but he still wanted a big goal from dad. He
wasn't that happy with the gifts I got him.

Speaker 5 (38:29):
Oh really, what did you get?

Speaker 4 (38:31):
I got him some sneakers and a couple of pairs
of sneakers and a soccer ball and an NFL ball.

Speaker 6 (38:36):
What do you want?

Speaker 13 (38:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
He's just all he ever wants his monster trucks and
but so I gave him those and he was and
we did go and kick the footy around, which was fun.
But he had jobs for me straight away as well,
like what he had. I got him this little remote
control car for his birthday, a little drift car, and
he said, oh, Dad, I sent this down the stairs
off accidentally and one of the one of the wheels

(39:01):
isn't turning, so can you fix that? And I don't
know what's wrong with me, but I just had to
do that immediately. So I just got out all the
tools and I had a light light on my head.
What Yeah, I took it all apart and had to
fix one of the axles. A light on your head,
those camping torches, it really helps.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Now tell me about Naomi's presence, I tried.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
So I hate buying presents for Naomi because she's very
picky and she's very fashionable.

Speaker 8 (39:27):
And actually, I've got a funny part of this. We
went shopping together, yeah, and he was looking for stuff.
And then anyway, after about an hour we left, I.

Speaker 6 (39:37):
Had you Yeah, how good.

Speaker 8 (39:39):
I'm just buying all these shoes, and I sent her
a photo, so I hope she likes them.

Speaker 6 (39:44):
And then ten seconds later, I gotta go where you go?
I gotta go swap them like as he goes.

Speaker 5 (39:52):
They're awful. And is it true that she said taking
a photo.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
He was going to buy me.

Speaker 5 (40:03):
I swear that was the same as the one she wanted.

Speaker 4 (40:06):
Just a little slight color difference or something snak Yeah,
just like out of that sneakers like walk around skating
shoes or whatever, you know, just walk around shoes.

Speaker 6 (40:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (40:16):
So I got to the so got to the wrong ones.
Did you take them back? We're talking back.

Speaker 4 (40:19):
I exchanged them for the pair that I think she
wanted because she sent a photo, and then I brought
them home and they were the wrong They're wrong again.
They're like white and they should have been gray, and
they weren't even on sale. So I was like, oh,
I got that wrong.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
And you know what else they did for me? This
is this is what was waiting for.

Speaker 4 (40:37):
They did just stink they because remember I complained before
we left about no one ever emptying out the sink
drain thing. Yes, so I have gone to wash my
hands in the kitchen sink when I first arrived, and
there was like three serves of scrambled eggs in the scene,
and I'm just like, I'm just quietly.

Speaker 5 (40:55):
Money and these animals, and I take it out on
it in the bin and then they all start laughing.

Speaker 4 (41:01):
Naomi and my friends are like, we put it there
on purpose when you you'd hate it, So just jemmy up.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
So basically anything to opposite.

Speaker 4 (41:10):
Yeah, who's already like a wounded bear after that flight
I came in.

Speaker 1 (41:14):
May pretty much what we do to you every day.

Speaker 5 (41:17):
That's what they did.

Speaker 3 (41:18):
Yes. Now with Correos the podcast.

Speaker 1 (41:25):
And we have had the craziest time over the last
ten days with the Backstreet Boys going to Vegas, and
we've all been posting on our social media. Last night,
I put up our screenshots of us talking to both
Brian and Nick from the Backstreet Boys, and you will
hear that after eight o'clock. But I got a couple
of messages, a couple of dms from people, and this

(41:48):
one from Amy.

Speaker 17 (41:49):
So we're massive fans and your troupe has just inspired
us so much.

Speaker 11 (41:54):
So we're super excited.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
We're going to the Backstreet Boys. The book tickets and
her best friend Virginia, who we've got up on the line.
Hey Virginia, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 4 (42:08):
Okay, So, like Amy was showing pictures of backpacks and
things that, so you've obviously you are like well and
truly down the rabbit hole of loving Backstreet Boys most definitely.

Speaker 12 (42:19):
Yeah, yeah, every healer.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
Yeah wow.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
So is it true that just seeing all of the
stuff that we did at the sphere, you just spontaneously
decided you needed to go?

Speaker 12 (42:32):
I did? I did, I had I had no money.

Speaker 3 (42:35):
I went in.

Speaker 12 (42:36):
I went to the football a couple of months ago
and thought I'll never go back to Vegas again. It
was just so expensive. Yes, And then every time I
looked at the Sphere, I'd cry, going, I need to
code to Backstreet Boys. No, I can't do it. Yeah no,
And I was definitely not going. And then I kept
seeing all your stuff and I was like, oh, stuff it,
I've got points. So I had enough points for me,

(42:58):
but not for anyone, not for my partner. I was like, no,
I'm going solo. So I just impulsively one night was
talking to.

Speaker 11 (43:06):
This group of us Backstreet Boys girls and.

Speaker 12 (43:09):
Just said, okay, that's it, I'm going. And I booked
a solo trip with points, booked a single ticket to
the concert. And then I don't know, my friend Amy
probably is going to get a divorce or something prombly
because I convinced her that she needed to come with me,
and so next day she booked. I booked her flight
to using points and yeah, but the kicker prices were

(43:32):
like eight hundred dollars much for a quin. Look, we
could only go for one night till we fly Thursday
night out and come back Saturday.

Speaker 5 (43:43):
Oh wow, you're seeing them Friday night.

Speaker 12 (43:46):
We're seeing them Friday night.

Speaker 6 (43:48):
Yeah, I'll give you it's worth it.

Speaker 9 (43:51):
It will be.

Speaker 4 (43:52):
Yeah, the Sphere is something special and it's obviously.

Speaker 5 (43:56):
They're good, but the Sphere is.

Speaker 8 (43:57):
Just the whole experience, like they did a crack and show.

Speaker 6 (44:00):
But like you said, the Sphere just adds at next level.

Speaker 12 (44:04):
Yes, I don't know, how I'm going to be able
to do it though, Like, like, I know that as
soon as I get there, I'm just going to cry.
And then I want to spend all day at the terminal.
I've just decided I don't care if Amy wants to
go shopping, she won't want.

Speaker 9 (44:18):
To go shopping.

Speaker 12 (44:18):
We're just going to spend the whole day at the
perminal and where We've got to find a Walmart Someholp,
but we'll do that.

Speaker 4 (44:25):
There's a Walmart about four miles because we went to
one about four miles from Vegas. You can get an
uber there for like twelve bucks.

Speaker 12 (44:35):
We get in Thursday night and we leave Saturday morning.
We've got all day Friday.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
Okay, mate, listen, you've got to be listening after eight
o'clock because I know you're completely obsessed with the Backstreet Boys,
But when you hear how heart felt, how genuinely these
two Nick Carter and also Brian literal love their fans
and are just such nice humans, you will cry until

(45:05):
you leave.

Speaker 12 (45:06):
Oh I'm crying now.

Speaker 11 (45:08):
The reality of actually going, it's it's like, oh no.

Speaker 5 (45:13):
Yeah, I don't know, You're gonna have the best time.

Speaker 6 (45:15):
You're going to have the best. Will it'll be worth it.

Speaker 5 (45:17):
Good on your Virginia.

Speaker 12 (45:19):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (45:21):

see the Backstreet Boys. We had a mission from a
few people while we were there to try and find
some stuff that you can only get in the US
or maybe even only in Vegas.

apparently in Las Vegas, and it's called ethel M.

Speaker 13 (46:02):
My twenty seventh wedding anniversary is fast approaching and I
haven't found anything for my husband, and I was hoping
you could ring coming back from the US, and my
husband's obsessed with American country singers, so hopefully Corey can
help with this.

Speaker 4 (46:18):
Okay, we were searching one. We're there because we even
went to it. We went to a country bar, which
who was that owned by?

Speaker 6 (46:25):

get anything from there.

we did find for Kerry.

Speaker 8 (46:38):

your twenty seventh anniversary gift.

F truck on the front.

That's for your song air Fun. You wouldn't know.

Speaker 5 (46:54):

Speaker 6 (46:59):

Speaker 5 (47:00):

lemon creamy chocolate, pure vanilla, and prickly pear cactus drenched
in silky chocolate just for you.

no sign that said you can buy the sword now.

Speaker 1 (48:46):
Well, we've got good and bad news. So the good
news is we have two packets of the goldfish crackers, and.

Speaker 8 (48:55):
Bad news is one of them could be sprinkled on
top of a cake.

Speaker 4 (48:58):
I reckon, they're more like fish flakes. Now they've got
so disintegrated in the bag, but there you're.

Speaker 5 (49:08):

Speaker 4 (49:08):
Prepared to open up the packer and pour it into
your mouth, they're all yours. Marie and I think we
had one more to go. And this was a really
heartfelt one, wasn't it for Amy?

Speaker 5 (49:17):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (49:18):
Amy, good morning? Now tell us about this Eminem blanket.

Speaker 17 (49:24):
Yeah, so my dad's in hospital. He's he's not very well, unfortunately,
and he went before he became released sick, he went
to Las Vegas and he bought my son a Eminem
blanket and it's his all time favorite. He absolutely loves it.
He's actually listening right now and he's probably struggled up

(49:46):
in it. But he wanted to give it to Grandad
the last time he was in hospital to keep him
warm because he's got is shes Worth regulating his temperature.
And yeah, so I just thought it would be really
nice to get another one so they both could have one.
