in the Rugby League. We're gonna have a special day.
It's all coming together.
Speaker 6 (01:45):
Really is.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
It's for under thirteen's boys and girls. We're going to
put two teams together. I think it's going to be
North Side and South Side and then we're like going
to have a big event.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah, we're going to do it. We're joining a b Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Yeah, a big day at South South Slogan Magpies. But
that's actually I thought that was a Logan. But this

It's one of the best grounds up played it on
a Sunday afternoon.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Yeah, it's crazy, it's so cool. Well that producers have
just said you need to take this call. This man
is called This man is Sean Comiski. He is the
general manager of Construction Pathways. Get a Seanda.
Speaker 8 (02:25):
How you're going?
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Very good mate, Sean?
Speaker 7 (02:28):
Why are you calling us?
Speaker 9 (02:30):
Look? Long time? Listen my first one call.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
I love the show.
Speaker 9 (02:32):
I just wanted to call in and so heard before
he was talking about.
Speaker 8 (02:35):
And making sports fun against the kids, keeping him engaged.
Speaker 9 (02:39):
It certainly resonates with me. I mean, in an agel,
we're trying to get kid d off screens.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
My daughter this year.
Speaker 9 (02:45):
You know, she plays met Fall.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
She loves it.
Speaker 9 (02:48):
This year she had to do eight hours of grading
just to decide what team she was going to play in.
That's hard wanting to give it away. So yeah, I'm
all in for what Corey's talking about.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yeah, okay, And is it just you personally or is
your company looking at getting involved here? Sean?
Speaker 8 (03:06):
No, Look, it looked this lines really well to what
we're doing here at Construction Path Plays that We've had
a chat internally, you know, providing inso and fun experiences
to young people so they can touch and feel the
benefit to working in construction. This this really aligns to
what we're doing and trying to get the message out
about how fun and how interactive the construction industry is.
Speaker 9 (03:25):
So yeah, we're we're keen to come on board if
you'll have it as a sponsor.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
I just got to come up with it.
Speaker 5 (03:36):
That would be.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Amazing, Sean, because of course we're going to need money
for lots of stuff like jerseys and just the organization
around it.
Speaker 7 (03:43):
That would be fantastic, awesome, Thank.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
You so much.
Speaker 9 (03:46):
This is this is what we do.
Speaker 8 (03:48):
We you know, we run we run over two hundred
events a year in partnership with them with Queensland Schools
really to kind of do so anything we can help
out be there on the day if.
Speaker 9 (03:57):
You need some some event management support where we're keen
to get involved and make sure that these young future
construction workers know the opportunities that lie ahead in the
city lot of Brisbane heading for the Olympics.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Yes, we're going to need so many more people in trades.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Does that make it too easy for me?
Speaker 5 (04:13):
Well, it's a good So.
Speaker 7 (04:15):
What actually do you do?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
You say you go into schools, what you're encouraging kids
to get into a career in construction.
Speaker 9 (04:22):
Yeah, absolutely so. Quive identified that we're going to need hundreds.
Speaker 8 (04:26):
Of thousands of extra workers in this industry over the
next ten years. And I think for us, discovering careers
shouldn't be scary for kids or be full of pressure about.
Speaker 9 (04:34):
Getting into Yearnie. It's similar to the story Corey told
about sport.
Speaker 8 (04:38):
It should be fun and for us, it's about providing
real interactive experiences. We go into schools and we provide
try trade events where they can come in and touch
and feel what it's lots to be a tiler or
a plaster or a painter.
Speaker 7 (04:49):
And you're perfect.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Perfect, that's perfect.
Speaker 8 (04:55):
We heard that we're going to an If we can
help make this stuff fun for kids, then take some
of the pressure out for young people.
Speaker 9 (05:01):
It's good to win for everyone.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
Good Man, good Man. Well, thank you Sean, and thank
you Construction Pathways with a sponsor. This is getting la
let's go good unbelievable, Thanks Sean.
Speaker 9 (05:13):
I don't know what that means yet. So I've got
to talk to our marketing clean how that will work?
Speaker 7 (05:17):
Yeah, our people will talk to our people.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
It'll be great.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
How about us.
Speaker 9 (05:23):
I'm a bit like Corey. I'll just git aback to
try and make it easy for ye.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
Right so, right, so, right now in our meeting room,
they're going, who the hell is sure talking?
Speaker 9 (05:32):
I think something like, yeah, I love it.
Speaker 10 (05:37):
We'll see you do so well.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Ron Now with Choreos the podcast, it's Robin and Kip
Now with Coreo. It's on Kiss ninety seven.
Speaker 11 (05:48):
Three Thoughts from the Right on Mamo cor.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
So, our own Choreo. It spends a lot of time
on a ride on mow. It's got a big property
to mow, and so in that time he has thoughts
which he likes to share and if you've got one
thirteen one oh sixty five is our number.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Well, so this one kind of yeah. Look, it's something
that I think has been a great debate for a.
Speaker 7 (06:12):
Long time particular or mind.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yes, yeah, I was of it. Actually, how can you
tell me how how does your brain remember that you've
forgotten something but can't remember what you forgot?
Speaker 7 (06:28):
Scientifically to be about where the thoughts are in your brain?
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Like your filing system, filing system in your brain.
Speaker 7 (06:35):
That is about as good as I can.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Help you my filing systems. A bit like Simpsons, there's
no good the monkey.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
Yeah, you've got to clapping symbols together. It's annoying, isn't it,
Because it's almost like you get the notification, hey you've
forgotten something, and then you go what is it?
Speaker 5 (06:53):
And then why did.
Speaker 7 (06:55):
You bother with the notification? If you cannot tell?
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Why are you telling me about this? If I can't
fix it?
Speaker 5 (07:04):
Yes, stupid.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Maybe that's why people will trust me with the deepest
dark secrets, because then I'll just forget.
Speaker 4 (07:13):
You're a good man to tell your stories.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Yeah, yeah, so you'll know when someone you hear a
repeated story that somehow that is vaguely familiar, but you
just can't that.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Yeah, yeah, where did they go?
Speaker 5 (07:24):
In my brain?
Speaker 4 (07:25):
Thirteen one sixty five is our number. We've got somebody
who wants to get involved, Jamie out a green bank.
What's your thought, Jamie?
Speaker 12 (07:32):
So my thought is every single day in the world,
somebody will take the biggest pooh and not.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Realize, like a world record ship.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Yeah, not realize, Jamie.
Speaker 7 (07:47):
Can I tell you? I could have lived my entire
life never thinking that, thinking.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Of you're right, every day someone takes someone takes the
record for the day seven billion people or whatever it is,
doesn't even realize. They just break the record.
Speaker 7 (08:09):
Michelle too long, Hi, Hi guys.
Speaker 10 (08:13):
I always think that the water that you drink is
never truly yours. It's just your turn to drink it.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
Yeah, because it's always floating around, going up into this
the clouds and down in the ocean, and then someone
else might have drunk it once and it's moved through
and then.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
You pee it and it goes into the sereag system,
which then goes out into the ocean that then rises
up into the clouds, comes down again, goes into water tanks,
and here we are.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
It's just your turn.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
But it's a good filter, great filter system clouds.
Speaker 7 (08:47):
Because otherwise you'd be drinking other people.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
Yeah, that is a gross thought. Thank you, Thank you
for water. Thank you Michelle.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
He now podcast.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
Mother's Day down and dusted for another year.
Speaker 7 (09:02):
I cannot wait.
Speaker 4 (09:05):
You'll get on to doing everything now. It's and you
mentioned this off air and I didn't realize. So it's
Mother's Day around the world. That's the one day for everyone.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Father's Day doesn't fall on the same day all Europe
and Americas. It does in Australia, Mother's Day does. So
when there's lots happening in the world of entertainment, I
will tell you about some famous people's Mother's Days, okay,
because they've.
Speaker 7 (09:29):
Had it as well.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Now, I'm of the opinion that when it comes to
you wanting things from your children, you need to be
really descriptive. So I am a birthday princess and I
tell my kids a month out that my birthday's coming up.
I also know that with three sons who are twenty one,
twenty three and twenty five, you have to It's like
hurting cats, and their memories is as bad as you two.
(09:52):
So you have to be repetitive a lot over a
long period with a long run up. So I've been saying,
Mother's Day's coming, Are you organized? I kind of want
to see you on Mother's Day? Can you make sure
you're available? But that's what I do, and then I
leave it.
Speaker 7 (10:05):
Up to them.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Okay, So the three of them, And if you follow
me on social you would have seen a couple of
photos that I posted because I also knew I was
competing with UFC yesterday.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
Oh there's a big, big fight on Yeah, and it.
Speaker 7 (10:18):
Was an Australian.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
Oh that had it go?
Speaker 7 (10:21):
He won?
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (10:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
So I said to the boys, what are you going
to do for Mother's Day? And they delivered and so
at the end of yesterday afternoon I sat down with
them and had a chat about what they actually achieved.
Speaker 11 (10:38):
We don't know what to get you, so I suggested
pajamas because you always get pajamas, and then Lewin got
them and then we all paid a lot.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
What day was this night shopping?
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Excellent? And tell me about who organized today? Because brunch
at the Boundary was lovely?
Speaker 7 (10:56):
Did you organize that? How did you find that out?
Speaker 4 (10:59):
I heard someone say the Boundary is good.
Speaker 11 (11:02):
I just booked.
Speaker 7 (11:03):
Is that because UFC was on No next, you had
no idea, like it had nothing.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
To do with it, and it was on.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Okay, so now is the time and you have to
say something nice about me because it's Mother's Day.
Speaker 11 (11:12):
Fin everything you do for us, I don't really know.
I mean, we're living out of home now, so I
don't rely on you financially much, but just for as
being there and yeah, being such a good month.
Speaker 7 (11:24):
Louis just not get you away that you cannot just
follow the leader of your eldest brother.
Speaker 11 (11:31):
Go to Piper.
Speaker 7 (11:33):
You need to think about it. Okay, Piper.
Speaker 11 (11:35):
Everything is so kind and generous to everyone and we
all love you.
Speaker 7 (11:41):
Thank to you, Lou.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
You're very strong.
Speaker 7 (11:45):
Thanks Bom so sure about that. You haven't read my
book yet.
Speaker 11 (11:49):
I don't think you need to read the book to
know that good.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
Yeah, they did really well.
Speaker 7 (11:55):
They did it well.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
So there's the highlights.
Speaker 7 (11:59):
Okay, which one of you did the worst?
Speaker 4 (12:02):
I suspect my becore sounds you started bad.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Start.
Speaker 7 (12:08):
I want you to go.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
So mine started bad Saturday afternoon. So that's not well.
Speaker 7 (12:15):
In trouble.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
I was in trouble. It wasn't much chatter between the couple.
Speaker 7 (12:20):
Did you do it? Were you like you did the wrong.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Thing always.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
For Mother's Day? Yeah, you ruined Mother's Day pretty much.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
So I tried my best and uh try to keep
the kids away from taking to let us sleep in,
but Monty just would not stop. It's winging and yelling,
and I want to.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
Make her up mom, because she was so excited.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
Monty, she gets so excited about this stuff. And anyway,
so taking wakes up and gets all the presents and
all this and that. And I had some flowers in
the scenk and that ready to give to her, and
Huxy went and got hurt his presence that they made
a day care. And Monty had all the presents that
she bought from the what do you call it? The
(13:06):
school the school store, and I bought the both kids
are cards and Monte, you can write her own thing
on because she can. She's very good at writing. She
can write her own little thing to tea. So I
have no idea what it said.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
She arguably better than you writing.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Possibly mistake when you do it in you can't really
write it out from me. Yeah, and then I wrote
Hucks's card, and yeah, I just tried to.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
Make it about Huxy.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
He loves her just as much as he loves food
and all that sort of stuffy and.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
What are you doing? Well?
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Yeah, and he had a big bunch of flowers and
character and bigger than him. And yeah, I thought, I'm
not going to get much, so I stuck to me playing.
I went got a coffee, brought her back mother's name, tell.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Not really.
Speaker 7 (13:57):
This silence, like.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
I gave her a kiss and I don't think it
was returned. I don't think it was a two.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
You got a one way lip, kids.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
And and then I got the kids outside, took them outside,
they'll play, you know, try to teach mony how to
ride a bike with no training wheels, and started standing
this chair I had because I'm like, I just got
to stay out of here as long as possible.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
Okay, so you're you're now doing carpentry. And then.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
We went to have them dads for well afternoon, mid
afternoon dinner at the foot.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Oh, you watched the South game. You saw Ezra playing, Yeah, well,
supposed to do that.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Well, I always said I was going to and she's
she was okay with that.
Speaker 7 (14:39):
So she's still not talking to you today.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
I said, bye this morning.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
Did you get a response?
Speaker 7 (14:46):
Not my goodness? Well, okay, you're laughing.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Yeah, I started strong, but I finished very poorly. And
we'll get to that after these.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Run.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
Now, tell us what happened for Mother's Day? Highlights low lights.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
I know I want the ones absolute fail because we
could possibly make your world a little bit better.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
So if you had a shocker yesterday and you need
to feel better about someone else's life choices, yes, then
thirteen one o sixty five.
Speaker 7 (15:23):
Because I'm guaranteeing that you did not do well.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
I did not. I started so strong. Honestly, my start
was maybe impeccable.
Speaker 7 (15:32):
What happened He.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Took the foot of the gas, That's what happened.
Speaker 5 (15:34):
Well.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
I remember I was talking about this on Friday. I
was saying it should stop at eleven o'clock.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Yeah, I know, and I told you you don't do that,
and you didn't listen because you only do what you.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
Want to do. Well. I organized. I organized the gift
that she wanted. I had that. I got Raphael to
make her a card like by hand. He drew a
picture and I wrote the words. Did the same thing
for his mom as well. I got I got Siana
to make a card. I did the handprint, the painted
hand print done, and wrote all around.
Speaker 7 (16:03):
It like just beautiful.
Speaker 4 (16:04):
It's unreal booked Breakfast down the road.
Speaker 7 (16:07):
Okay, what happened, well, I.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Just ran out of steam. I ran out of steam.
So by like eleven o'clock, and you know, I looked
after Sienna wise she went and did a little bit
of a shopping and things like that. But then by
eleven o'clock, I just had things to do around the house,
so like I need to put up the baby gates,
you know. So I wasn't having fun, but I was.
I stopped doing the majority of the child And what happened, well,
(16:33):
then by the time we went to bed, and then
also the football came on, and by the time we
went to bed, I noticed there was a there was
a there was a frosty sauce.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
I mean, sadly, you just noticed.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
That, did you?
Speaker 7 (16:51):
You had one child?
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Are you mad? Are you mad at me?
Speaker 7 (16:59):
She goes, I'm not mad, disappointed disappointed.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
I just thought, you know, I just thought you would
do more today, you know, and not about the gift.
You did well with the gift, but you should have
done more with it. Looking after Siena for me, just.
Speaker 7 (17:18):
Give her a day.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
That's what I realized on reflection. I should have done.
Speaker 7 (17:23):
No, No, I told you that on Friday.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
You know when I say, don't stop at eleven and
then you do.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
Anyway, can't we just stop Mother's Day at me like midday.
Let's just crack it off at midday.
Speaker 7 (17:35):
How about you just give her one day? How about it?
Just try?
Speaker 4 (17:39):
I mean, those baby gates aren't put themselves up robin.
Speaker 7 (17:41):
Okay, that's what Mondays are for.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Oh my goodness, make a point.
Speaker 7 (17:45):
We'll make your life so hard.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
Thirty six five is our number.
Speaker 7 (17:50):
Yeah, we've got beautiful flowers. So if you had an.
Speaker 1 (17:53):

Speaker 5 (18:04):
Now with Gios the podcast.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
To miss Mother's Day yesterday, make it up to her
with flower from Flowers for Everyone dot com dot au
delivering big love and beautiful blooms. I mean the fact
that that's even a thing that they're saying if you
miss Mother's Day. Yeah, we know, yeah that people make
mistakes and people get it wrong.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
I've seen people on the day buying flowers.
Speaker 7 (18:26):
Yeah, of course.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Yeah, I've got to be I got to have some
sort of tick next to me name.
Speaker 7 (18:31):
Yes, it's just the other stuff.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Yeah, there's too many crosses.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
We're asking about epic fails for yesterday, Eron of redlam
bake of morning.
Speaker 13 (18:40):
Good morning.
Speaker 7 (18:40):
What happened mate?
Speaker 13 (18:42):
Oh, We've got two very small children, a three year
old and a ten month old, and the night before
we had teething and sickness, and I didn't cope very
well with the sleep deprivation. Yes, so we had a
very low key mother's day. She went above and beyond
and my yeah, my sleeplessness got the better of me.
Speaker 10 (19:03):
I think.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
Oh no, so you so you were supposed to be
doing something special for your partner erin.
Speaker 13 (19:08):
Yes, yeah, so both of us were. We take turns.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
That's how you do it.
Speaker 13 (19:13):
Okay, she's mummy, I'm mama.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (19:16):
Yeah, so she did really well in the morning, and yeah,
I sailed ethically with the the no sleep.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Okay, but there's a slight problem with that is shouldn't
you have been organized before the no sleep?
Speaker 13 (19:28):
Well, well, we did the presence and all that sort
of stuff, but then we were going to go when
you know, just have a relaxing day together, go to
the park and all that sort of stuff. But it
was just no, we didn't.
Speaker 9 (19:37):
Leave the house.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
Too tired and it was raining. You've got excuses.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Okay, what's your wife's name, Cat, Cat? Well, how about
you give her one hundred and fifty dollars Flowers for
everyone voucher.
Speaker 13 (19:49):
Oh, thank you so much for helping me recover situation.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
And good luck with the teeth. We're in that same
hell at the moment.
Speaker 5 (19:58):
All four yes, yes.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
And if you miss Mother's Day, make it up to

au delivering big love and beautiful blues.
Speaker 5 (20:10):
Rowing Kids Now with Chios the podcast.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
This next segment contains adult content. Listener discretion advised, not
suitable for work or in the car with the kids.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
Halfway through the podcast, a producer Todd is with us Now, Todd,
how long have you been in Australia for now in
Brisbane since September? Okay, how are you liking it?
Speaker 12 (20:33):
It's been really hot?
Speaker 4 (20:34):
Actually yeah, even though we're in winter now, yeah, you're still.
Speaker 5 (20:38):
Only bitter now.
Speaker 12 (20:39):
I prefer the temperature as it is now. I attempted
to go for a run. Yesterday, I thought I'll do
a six k run. I was like, oh, it's a
normal temperature. Great, yeah, but then obviously it pelted down
it was raining. So I got a coffee and went home.
But on the way home, yes, I thought I'll open
up Grinder and just see who's about anyone around?
Speaker 4 (21:00):
Yeah, a few people now. Grinder for those that don't know,
is dating app specifically for men.
Speaker 7 (21:06):
Yeah, it's like a hook up app. More relationship coming
out of this, not diffly.
Speaker 4 (21:12):
So what do you how do you say? So you
talk to us about it. So you've got your own
little setup, You've got your profile, a couple of photos.
Speaker 7 (21:18):
I've actually only just got one photo.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
One photo.
Speaker 7 (21:20):
Yeah, and that's that's necessary obviously.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
And then what are you up?
Speaker 7 (21:24):
Just you dick, there is an album of goodness and
that's possibly how it's designed. And then and then what
do you put in?
Speaker 4 (21:34):
What do you put in? You you say I'm looking
within five k's or how far as you range?
Speaker 12 (21:40):
All works and distance, So depending if you pay for
the app or not, you're only seeing people in your
like near vicinity.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
So how near we're talking a couple of Oh, well.
Speaker 12 (21:48):
It could say like two hundred meters, say eighty meters,
it could say five k's, could say forty eight k's. Okay,
it just depends how many people are online at the time.
Speaker 7 (21:56):
How did you get catfished?
Speaker 12 (22:00):
I was driving home, I was talking to the sky
and he was staying at a mate's house. So he
was like, I can't actually host anyone here, and I said, well,
I can't have anyone at my auntie uncle's, so the
only option is the car. And he was like, well,
we can go around and we can find a laneway somewhere.
Speaker 7 (22:17):
Sure, And I'm always up for an adventure. I know.
I love this about you so much.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
So your life it's just so different everyone else, and
I love it.
Speaker 7 (22:29):
Okay, So what happened?
Speaker 12 (22:31):
So we seen photos through sh Hit his album. Yes,
he added a couple of pictures in the air. I
was like, okay, we can do this about there.
Speaker 7 (22:43):
He came outside. Oh god, I haven't even been in
the situation.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
Now grind is popping off.
Speaker 12 (22:48):
I've opened it. I drove past this house this edgress
that he gave me, and I went, oh, that doesn't
look like the photos of saying, and I was like,
I don't know if it's him. So I messaged and said, hey,
look are you outside now? And he said, yeah, I'm outside,
and I went, oh shit, what am I going to
do here? I caught my biss friend and I was like,
(23:10):
oh my god, I've just driven past the sky. He
looks nothing like his photos.
Speaker 5 (23:14):
Like, yeah, quite a lot worse Like I.
Speaker 12 (23:18):
Mean, I'd put on a couple of age's like that happens, right,
But he'd put on quite a few and lost almost
every here on his head, which.
Speaker 7 (23:25):
Again is fine, like what you were signing up?
Speaker 12 (23:28):
Show that in your photos, and then I know what
I'm walking into.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Wait, so was it the same face at least?
Speaker 7 (23:35):
Well you didn't stop and find out, did you? Just
kept driving. I drove around the corner, got on the
phone to one of my friends, and just when I
can't do that, what do I say? What do you
say to him?
Speaker 12 (23:47):
And so I said, I've got cold feet, Sorry, I'm
just not keen and drove home. I feel a little
bit bad because his friend that he was staying with
was at work and he took the keys, so he
was going to have to walk around the streets for
the rest of the avow until his mate got home
(24:07):
because he didn't.
Speaker 7 (24:08):
Have correct photo and then grind it, particularly when the
interaction is.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
Not yeah, I don't sleep. What you say you do,
you're going to have I mean, otherwise you're just portraying
the whole lane way hook in the car, the beauty,
the beauty of the whole lane way hook up in
the carments like you made it disgusting.
Speaker 7 (24:38):
Do you get caught?
Speaker 4 (24:41):
Yeah, you should.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
I so wanted, But he's just you know, coming to
terms with the idea of being known as there.
Speaker 5 (24:51):
Is that what I want?
Speaker 7 (24:54):
Because you're so interested, always just.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
Go to the car.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
Well, I can't have anyone at my house.
Speaker 12 (24:59):
Can I come borrow your ship or something?
Speaker 7 (25:01):
Could the ship's rocket?
Speaker 5 (25:04):
Don't I tell her?
Speaker 7 (25:07):
Then? Yeah, but then you spend money.
Speaker 12 (25:09):
But then you spending what two hundred fifty bucks for
a couple of minutes, minutes.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Anything like that?
Speaker 12 (25:16):
You don't even get you know, you an't even coming inside.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
Excuse me, sorry, yeah, okay, that's right. Shut it.
Speaker 5 (25:25):
Then.
Speaker 7 (25:26):
I'm not sure what I'm more impressed about. Toddy is
just so proud of himself or the fact that you
two actually stayed in this conversation for the whole time.
You are fascinating. I know both of you totally freaked out.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
I'm not an entire dried in that car. You what
up of car you got?
Speaker 12 (25:48):
It looks like a high under I thirtyed.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
He knows how to do it, don't you about that?
So you can squeeze up here?
Speaker 4 (25:56):
Oh yeah, yeah, the things you can do And that
should be the name of your podcast.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
Now with Coos the podcast.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Robin's her Bindi Irwin rushed to hospital with her mother
by her side. The whole family had flown to Vegas
to honor their late father with the Steve Irwin Gala,
supposed to be like their funnest night of the year,
but on the flight, Bindi started to feel unwell. She
(26:31):
got off the plane, was taken to the doctor and
they said, no, you need surgery immediately.
Speaker 7 (26:35):
Your appendix is exploding. She tried to keep.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
Going but ended up having surgery, and so, yeah, they
had to get it out, and Terry was with her daughter,
and Robert just kept on going like Robert does.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
And don't you know getting surgery in America, Like, I'm
sure they've got insurance, but that'd be like two hundred
thousand dollars. Yeah, absurd.
Speaker 7 (26:58):
That's in creyt. I think you're okay with the cat.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Yeah, that'll be right. Oh yeah, that'd be right.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy, Now, this is the woman
that he was with for the two years up until
he died. Announcement was made last week that his son
has inherited all of his twenty four million pound fortune.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
So she's got nothing.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
She got nothing, she got nothing. That's an interesting conversation
we have another time.
Speaker 7 (27:24):
Just charming in from the newsroom. He didn't have a will.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
That is a will, okay, just went to the family.
Speaker 7 (27:30):
He stipulate anything.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
Two years a long time to be together.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
But you don't expect I mean why And this is
the thing that everyone who's independent. I've even been saying
this to my boys, like you need to have a will,
but you don't think if you know in your thirties
you're going to need one anyway. She's taken a mental
health day after all of that stuff happened. But you know,
for me, a mental health day is kind of I
don't know, spending. Maybe this is my perception that you
(27:55):
need time to just regroup.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
Well.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
She has followed her entire day on Instagram. Including talking
about how fabulous a hair looks.
Speaker 14 (28:04):
So I decided I'm to take a mental reset day,
and I thought I would bring you as long I
know my hair look's gotten before anybody's like, yeah, she's
been about for the past hour. Her hair looks so good.
I got it done yesterday. And I sleep on a
pelo case.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
Silk pelow case.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
Okay, So I don't know, like, that's not fair for
me to have a crack at someone who's having a
mental health day. But I guess it's just so la
that yes makes me want to rob my Niles jet
of block.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
And I guess a lot of people's mental health is
tied up to their appearance. And looking good is feeling good.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
But there you go, all of the above. I will
keep my mouth shut. Megan Michael has enjoyed Mother's Day.
I shouldn't call her that she's making sussex. She's posted
a photo of her two children, Archie and Lily bet
To kind of straddling her, and she's written a very
happy Mother's Day, cheers to juggling it all with joy.
She said, I love you more than all the stars
(28:53):
in the sky, all the rain drops, and all the
salt on all the French fries in all the world.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
That's good. I think it was a voice recording.
Speaker 4 (29:00):
For a second, I said, please don't do that, did Harry,
because isn't it Harry's job to be posting stuff? Harry
posting it because I saw that she's been very active.
Speaker 7 (29:10):
Well, they hit.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
They have posted videos of them at Beyonce's show, right, yeah,
but not not too much from Harry on he's in
the dog trying to massive Harry.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
Who married.
Speaker 4 (29:28):
You need to focus on and look at the other
blokes that screwed up.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
You need to go to the podcast if you missed
what these two didn't do.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
If the focus.
Speaker 5 (29:39):
Rob now with Coos podcast.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
I've got to get get home and get Rap from
his mom's because he's he's sick today. He's got looks
like he's got flu. He's been crooked all weekend.
Speaker 7 (29:51):
Oh the flu.
Speaker 4 (29:52):
Shocking it is it is Yet went all through his school,
there was all these you know, you can see all
these parents coughing on pickup and things like that over
the last week.
Speaker 7 (30:00):
You'd love that.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
And Raps already like me, like there was a little
girl coughing one of his little friends and he's gone,
are you sick? Because I've got a little sister at home,
so I can't play with you. That's okay. He cares
so much about Sienna. But we got Naomi and I
went and got our flu shots about three weeks ago. Now, oh,
(30:25):
well done. Yes, And my GP was actually telling me
Doctor Keith was saying that a lot less people than
in previous years have been getting the flu shots because
we've got what they call vaccine fatigue, where everyone's just.
Speaker 7 (30:39):
After how many covids did we have?
Speaker 4 (30:41):
Yeah, we're just over it. But so getting pronged. Yeah,
but but yeah, don't forget to get It's not too
late to go and get your flu shot.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
And I can tell you because my boyfriend Olivia works
in age care that now it's much more concerning if
a flu whatever goes through the nursing home that and
it is COVID. Yeah won't won't you know, people won't
die necessarily from COVID, but they will flu when you're
in age facilities.
Speaker 7 (31:08):
So that's kind of like telling averyone it's serious.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
Yeah, yep. And so I do feel like I'm gonna
hang out with Raft today because he's sick, but I
do feel like I've got like a little a little
armor on because I've had my shot. But when we
went to go and get the shots, Raffi he hates needles,
hate shots. And so on the day he said, do
I have to get a shot? Because he was coming
in with us, and I said not if you not,
if you really don't want to, you can just you
(31:32):
can just watch. And he's going, well, that's what I'm
gonna do. I'm just gonna watch. I don't want to shot. Well,
let's just talk about it. And on the way there
he's talking about it again. Now I don't have to
get one, do you can just watch? And so when
we got to the actual doctors, he's walked in like
he walked in in front of us. He's walked straight
into the to the waiting room. It's a full waiting room.
He goes, guys, I'm just.
Speaker 5 (31:52):
Here to watch.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
I'm not getting a shot. I'm dad of getting shots.
I'm just watching.
Speaker 7 (32:01):
That's so cut.
Speaker 4 (32:02):
And then it came out at the ending and when
it straight out to reception, I didn't get a shot.
I just watched.
Speaker 7 (32:07):
Everything was fine, Okay, why didn't you get a shot?
Couldn't you have got that.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
I don't know. It just doesn't seem like it's worth
it for the how much he is terrified of it.
Speaker 7 (32:17):
Okay, can we have this conversation tomorrow. I've been home
with him sick with the flow.
Speaker 5 (32:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
So yeah, you've got to.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
Go to someone like my friend NeSSI is a wonderful
nurse and she's been nursing for years and years and
years and lou my middle son is terrified of needles
and all through his childhood.
Speaker 7 (32:32):
I take him into Nessie and he'd be gone, now mate,
you know I don't like needles AND's like, yeah, lo,
no worries.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
You'll go look over there and then go boom every time.
By the time he's like squawking and carrying on, it's
all done.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
So I just need to hire a ninja who.
Speaker 7 (32:51):
Knows exactly what they're doing and can like.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Just pinpoint precision or or oh.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
Just grab him.
Speaker 7 (33:03):
You got to get him faid.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
Look, Okay, people are going to hate on this because
there are lots of anti vaxxss.
Speaker 7 (33:09):
Too, but I believe, yeah, it's the right thing.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
I mean as far as like proper vaccinations against mumps
and Me's like I'm one hundred percent. I just no
know about the flu one maybe, but we'll see.
Speaker 7 (33:19):
Let's talk to you in the next couple of days.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
Let's tomorrow. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
He Now with Coorios the podcast.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
I've been deep diving into what is going on with
Victoria Beckham and her son, Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz, who's
an actress in her own right. And if you look
at the Beckham social media over the period of time,
they those two got married in twenty twenty three and
they had like this most extraordinary No. Twenty twenty two,
the most extraordinary wedding at the Beckham's Palm Beach, Florida mansion,
(33:52):
Like it was just amazing, extravagant.
Speaker 7 (33:54):
Huge.
Speaker 4 (33:55):
Is Brooklyn the model? Is it? Which one is the eldest,
is the oldest? And does he? Is he a model?
Or is not a foot No?
Speaker 7 (34:01):
No, no no.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
Romeo is also pretty good looking and does a bit
of modeling. That's their other son, one of their other sons. Yeah,
so it seems so the couple, Brooklyn and his wife
missed David's fiftieth birthday. But then since then, which was
a couple of weeks ago, but since then, her friends
have coming out and saying that the Brooklyn is in
(34:23):
an emotionally abusive and toxic relationship with his family, which
is just so odd. And I don't know whether they
caught up yesterday, but it looks like they didn't from
the date because a Marky it was Mother's Day as well. Yeah,
in the UK it wasn't, so maybe I don't know that.
I'm just trying to make it look better. But this
(34:44):
relationship has been going south for a really long time
and it comes down to the fact that Brooklyn is
picking his wife over his parents.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
So it all started when he got with her.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
Yeah, it was I think it was over a wedding dress,
Like Victoria wanted her to wear one of her wedding
dresses and Nicola didn't want to, and so then it
kind of deteriorated from them, which in itself is problematic.
Speaker 7 (35:10):
That is truly what happened.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
She can wear her own dress, can do whatever.
Speaker 4 (35:16):
You get to choose.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Whose dresses.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
Your mother in law shouldn't be picking. No future mother
in law shouldn't be picking your dress.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Tell me about it, Tell me about what you think,
because you know you've all got moms and you have partners.
Speaker 7 (35:32):
It's not worth it, So you pick your partner.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
Well, in my eyes, it's like you pick the person
you mary because you've picked them.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
They are your choice, your.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
Choice, your family of creation rather than your family of origin.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
It's not that I don't like, I don't support, but
either or it's just more like you're always going to
be more on your your wife's side. That's always been me.
I've never but this is how I am. I never
like being on anyone's wrong side, like if I can
try and make peace both ways, but I've always tried
(36:07):
to tell I'm still agreeing with everything. I'm just trying
to do it peacefully. That's me though, but some people
don't like that and it doesn't really work for everyone.
So yeah, early on I didn't really get the balance right,
I don't think And which way did you go?
Speaker 11 (36:23):
Well?
Speaker 2 (36:23):
I think Teagan thought I was pretty s important one
more and I'm like, no, I'm not because what feels
like it. So then I kind of had to change
a little bit with the way I did things. But yeah,
I'm always going to be agreeing more with Tigan and
most of the time.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
It's I And you know what, I'm sitting here thinking
if one of my boys said to me yesterday, I
can't come to Mother's Day because I'm going to my
girlfriend's mother's place.
Speaker 7 (36:48):
I would really struggle with that.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
However, I will tell you, like in my head, I
will tell you that my boys have to pick their
partners over me because I've raised them to make choices.
Speaker 7 (37:01):
But if that came.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
And bit me on the butt yesterday, I would have
been devastating.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
Imagine it as well. It's not just that they're not coming,
They're not coming because the your wife can't stand you.
I know that would be so painful.
Speaker 7 (37:15):
It really would.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
Thirteen one o six five if you didn't have a
Mother's Day yesterday because you are at war with your kids,
you know, and maybe your children have picked their partner
over you. Because I so maintain that as parents, we
have to let our children go like we have to,
because if we don't, then we're not really parenting them properly.
Speaker 7 (37:37):
However, I can also be a tiger moment. I'd be devastating.
Speaker 4 (37:42):
You never want to let them go?
Speaker 7 (37:43):
Yeah, so my butt is full of because I sit
on the fence.
Speaker 4 (37:50):
Splinter eighteen Robin's Butters full of wood Chips. Tell us
your story.
Speaker 7 (38:04):
I'm you know me, I'm very passionate. Usually this one,
I'm struggling.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
With all of us. Splend thirty one six fives at Number.
Speaker 5 (38:15):
Now with Gios the podcast.
Speaker 4 (38:19):
Talking about family divides and they often come up around
special occasions like Mother's Day, when all of a sudden
there's people that need to get together, that don't want
to be together or have said I'm never going to
see them again, and I.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Do you hear a lot of stories around boys picking
their I mean their partners, whereas girls and their moms.
Speaker 7 (38:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
I don't have any girls, and I hate not having
an opinion on this, but I know, if I'm truly
honest with you that if yesterday one of my boat
boys had chosen to go to his girlfriend's mother's place, YEP,
I would have been really hurt.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
Well, like the Beckhams my first wedding, it was the
wedding that nearly had that level of breakup for me,
where my mum and my future bride at the time
were not they didn't align. I think it was something
about the wedding invites and it got to the point where,
(39:11):
you know, it was like we were really really ready
to call off the wedding. It was that bad. And
in the end I had to beg my mom, like,
I just said, down, can you just I said? I said,
I said, listen, I'm on your side. I'm on your side.
I know you're right, but I need you to say
that you're wrong. It's the only way we're going to
(39:32):
fix it.
Speaker 7 (39:32):
You the same to your wife. I know you're not,
I know you're right.
Speaker 4 (39:40):
Listen. My mom's all no, I didn't. I didn't and
my mom, God bless her, she just fell on her
sword like she she was in the right and she
said I was wrong. I'm going to do what you need. Yeah,
she's the best.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
And yet yeah you still forget her birthday and everything else.
Speaker 4 (40:01):
Absolutely well, I shouldn't have got married in the end,
she should have shut up.
Speaker 7 (40:06):
She should stay.
Speaker 5 (40:09):
Out of it.
Speaker 4 (40:10):
It's a sign. Thirty six five, let's talk about divides
on Mother's Day. Come back with it right after this
from Alex.
Speaker 5 (40:17):
Warren now with Coorios. The podcast.
Speaker 4 (40:23):
Looks like Roondy going from Socials, but it looks like
the Beckhams had another divided special occasion. The kids didn't
show up or the oldest son rather and his new
partner didn't show up to Dave's fiftieth Yeah.
Speaker 7 (40:35):
His wife.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
And then of course it is still technically Mother's Day
in the States because they're behind.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
Oh yes, it's isn't it. Yeah a chance, Well so
maybe it looks like they haven't showed up to Mother's
Day for posh.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
Yeah, so it's partner verse parent really. Cassandra of Cedar Grove,
what do you reckon?
Speaker 10 (40:56):
Well, sorry, you cut out a bit there. I don't
know what you are before that.
Speaker 4 (41:00):
That's right now. We're just talking about having to make
that decision, like do you choose the mom, do you
choose the new wife? And have you been in that situation?
Speaker 10 (41:09):
I had of absolutely been in that situation. It is
not a choice you make really easily. I know. It
was really hard for my husband in the end. It
was me breaking down while pregnant with our second child,
not realizing like there was in a six decade an
event that his family was holding and I was the
(41:30):
only person excluded, and I found out through social media
and I just broke down and he was at the
neighbor's house at the time, came home, saw me and
I said, I don't understand, Like, what has I done
for them to hate me so much and that. A
couple of days later, he confronted his family and said,
(41:53):
what is the go Like, you have hated on her
for so long. Her and I've been together since high school.
We were married at the stage when he confronted them,
so we'd already been together for over, oh about about
fifteen years. We're together. They could not give him a
(42:16):
reasonable explanation. It was petty, petty things that did not matter.
I mean, they could not give him a straight answer.
So in the end he's like, look, dad's parents cut
you off because they didn't like mum. I'm going to
do the same thing if you cannot give me a
(42:37):
reason and accept my wife and the mother of my children,
because I am not going to let her go through this. Wow,
made it quite clear the balls in your court. I'm
not making a decision. You are either. You are going
to accept my wife and the mother of my kids
because she's done nothing unless you're going to give me
(42:58):
a reason. She will happily apologize for it.
Speaker 7 (43:00):
So did they did they off?
Speaker 4 (43:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (43:03):
Well they they didn't contact him back for ten years.
Speaker 4 (43:08):
Oh goodness, that's so.
Speaker 7 (43:10):
That is what that is. So insane on our text line.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
Okay, Denise sent a text saying, I have a saying
about partners.
Speaker 7 (43:17):
If you have a daughter, you have her for life.
If you have a son, you'd better love his wife.
Speaker 4 (43:23):
Huh. That's a great that is a good saying. Yes,
Sharon out of North Lakes. So was it were you
the mum or were you the new wife in this situation?
Speaker 13 (43:34):
So I'm a mom.
Speaker 6 (43:35):
Okay, I'm a mum and I have grown children. So
what do you do, Robert? When your kids grow up
and have children and they, you know, they want to
spend time with their own family.
Speaker 7 (43:50):
I think you have to let them write You have to.
Speaker 6 (43:53):
That's right. It's a big day. You don't want them
dragging their kids here, there and everywhere. It's you know,
it's like you have to. Yes, that's what moms do.
You sacrifice things for your kids.
Speaker 7 (44:07):
So did you How did you spend Mother's Day yesterday?
Speaker 6 (44:10):
I was just at home. My dogs have just had operations,
so we couldn't do too much anyway. But yeah, you know,
my kids come in, they say roun theay facetimed say,
you know, have your Mother's Day stuff. That's all you
can ask for. You bring them up properly. You hope
that you've done a good job.
Speaker 7 (44:26):
I know, but I can hear your heart.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
I actually can, Like I know the theory of it,
and I'm with you every step of the way. But
if that were me yesterday, it would have broken my heart.
So it must be tough.
Speaker 6 (44:40):
Yeah, but they grow up.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
Yeah they no, no, no, I agree, I do agree
that tough.
