Good Robin Kiff and Coreo. It's on demand the podcast.
Some wild weather in Brisbane expected across the weekend.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
I've just seen they've predicted the super cell storm. Well,
if it becomes one, it could turn into an isolated
they could be isolated tornado.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Tornadoes in southeast.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
The last time that happened was at this gap was
well it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
They called it like it yeah, but it was.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
It was targeted to one area and it was because
of the way the topography works that it slammed into
the mountain like Mount Cuth that went around there, you
know what I mean, And the gap was on that
side of it.
Speaker 5 (01:12):
I have never seen damage like after that event. And
we should talk about it more.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Let's talk about the super sol at half time.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Now with Choreos the podcast with Robin Kip and Corios.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Would like to do this on a Friday morning, take
a magic moment in film and do a little re
enactment complete with song and today being Halloween withought, let's
go a Halloween themed movie. Why not Ghostbusters?
Speaker 6 (01:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Did you know this was nineteen eighty four that we're
doing the original? Because then they redid it and it
wasn't ever as good.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
No, that didn't. They make an all girls team as
well the Ghostbusters than the other one.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Oh, I know it's so old, but you have to
see the original to really understand, you do.
Speaker 7 (02:00):
And if you have been living under the rock and
the rock.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
And don't know what it's about.
Speaker 7 (02:07):
Ghostbusters follows three parapsychology in New York City. Doctor Peter Venkman,
doctor Ray Stands, and doctor.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Egon Eggon Egon Egon.
Speaker 7 (02:16):
Spengler lose their university funding and they decide to launch
their own Ghostbusters business. Soon, they're called in to investigate
eerie supernatural activity, including Poltergeist's and unexplained phenomena, eventually uncovering
that an ancient extra dimensional being goes.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
At the Gozarian.
Speaker 7 (02:37):
So Corey is, doctor Peter Venkman, Robin will be Egon
Spengler and Kip's rave so setting the scene, Ghostbusters reach
the rooftop of Dana's building, whether demonic Goza appears and
demands they choose the form of the destructor. Ray accidentally
thinks of something harmless, the stay Puffed marshmallow Man, and
(02:58):
moments later, the giant, smiling mascot stomps through New York,
becoming their monstrous new enemy.
Speaker 8 (03:14):
Well there's something you don't see every day.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
I try to think of the most harmless thing, something
I'd love for my childhood, something that could never ever
possibly destroy us. Mister staypuff last thinking right. We used
to roast Staypuff marshmallows by the campfire at Camp Waconda.
Speaker 8 (03:29):
Ray is gone, Bye bye, you gone?
Speaker 3 (03:31):
What have you got left?
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Sorry, Frankman, I'm terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Mother pussbuckets.
Speaker 9 (03:45):
It's nobody SIPs on my on a church of my
town one two three roast him were faring license.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
I can't call it.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
That's something.
Speaker 10 (04:14):
In the neighboroo. Who you gonna call coast? It's something
weird and it don't look good.
Speaker 8 (04:24):
Who you gonna call us? I ain't praising no coach.
I ain't praising no coach.
Speaker 10 (04:45):
If you see some things running through your head, who
you gonna call? Gas and in visible man saying in
your band?
Speaker 8 (04:58):
Who you gonna call coach?
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Stad?
Speaker 8 (05:08):
I ain't fraid of no coach. I ain't ready to
goes scene.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
So now with gios.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Okay, it's Halloween today and because you know our lives
have been turned on its head over the last week
and yes we're not going to be back next year,
I thought it'd be great to go and see a
psychic and ask her now, now, don't you want to
know what's going to happen next year?
Speaker 11 (05:48):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Me was bad.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Sorry, Well here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
I went to a woman that a lot of Queenslanders
may know about. Her name is Julie Grabac and she
is a Brisbane fashion designer, or she was. She was
the first winner of Project Runway Australia in twenty eleven.
She designed the Virgin Australian uniforms which are still being
worn today, so every time you get on a Virgin
flight you see.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
The uniforms that she designed.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
Pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Then in twenty nineteen she completed Project Runway All Stars,
but walked away because she had some serious health issues
with cancer, and came back three years ago and decided
to do the one thing she's always wanted to do,
and that is to do psychic work psychic readings. So
she does card readings. You can go on book to
go and see her. So I did that and this
(06:37):
is what she says for me.
Speaker 6 (06:39):
You had an early warning, which means that you have
time for a graceful exit.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
That's exactly what's happened, which is very unusual.
Speaker 6 (06:47):
So there is actually time for you to sort of
put down what it is that you want to do
before you leave.
Speaker 12 (06:52):
And when you exit, it feels like it's going to be.
Speaker 6 (06:53):
Really graceful and easy, and going into Christmas, you need
to make sure that you take a break.
Speaker 12 (06:58):
Because next year is going to be big for you.
You've got a couple of big things.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
I know the.
Speaker 6 (07:02):
Book is coming, but I feel like towards the middle
of the year you are going to be propelled into
the universe, and not just Australia.
Speaker 12 (07:10):
I feel like there's something big coming for you overseas,
so global domination.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
Yes, the book is going to be terrifying and exciting
at the same time, but you're ready for her and
it's finally time for that to be birthed into the
world and this new version of you. She's fierce, but
she's graceful. She's strong but she's soft, and I can't
wait to see what's coming. Everyone's going to be intrigued.
(07:35):
So I feel like there's probably two more books.
Speaker 12 (07:37):
One will probably be more like not self help, but
more like a development.
Speaker 6 (07:41):
Book, and the next book would be the other half
of the story.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
The loves of my life, like my partner Olivier and
my three sons.
Speaker 6 (07:49):
Okay, your partner Olivier with him.
Speaker 12 (07:53):
He loves to see you grow. He's not holding you back.
Speaker 6 (07:56):
Like when I say the second half of next year
is going to be expansive. He's going to be like,
go and get it. He's like, that's my girl. You
go and shine, so that if you just.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Say that's my girl, he goes, that's my girl.
Speaker 6 (08:09):
He's going to he's so proud of you and your boys,
your eldest one, Finn, love Finn.
Speaker 12 (08:14):
He's a stable guy. He's a good stable guy.
Speaker 6 (08:17):
And look, I wouldn't be surprised if in the next
couple of years you've become a grandma and learns a.
Speaker 12 (08:26):
Bit of a wild card.
Speaker 8 (08:27):
This one.
Speaker 12 (08:27):
He's intuitive, but he's smart, and that's the problem.
Speaker 6 (08:30):
So this guy can go from no money to a
millionaire within like six months.
Speaker 12 (08:35):
And the youngest is Piper.
Speaker 6 (08:37):
Piper, Oh, bless Piper. He's a sweetheart. He's a smart kid.
Speaker 12 (08:42):
But everyone loves him and trusts him, so he's going
to do well in business.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
He's going to make a lot of money. But he
also loves beautiful things. He's going to need a lot
of money. He needs a nice car, he needs like
some really cool things. But he's honest and he's trustworthy,
so he's going to be fine.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Film is that spot on about him loving beautiful things?
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Yes, that's like for his birthday he's twenty first all
he wanted was a watch that he could never afford himself.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
Right, that's a teak.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
And the good news is next Tuesday, pre orders of
my book happens, and I will reveal to you guys
the cover and give you a little bit of an
insight into what the book's about.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Cool, but that's next. That's Tuesday. That's Tuesday.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
Kip Whiteman, you are next.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
And let's just say one of the things she predicts
for you will make you so happy, the other.
Speaker 5 (09:32):
One not so much.
Speaker 8 (09:35):
What I do know is we need to get in
business with Piper.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Yeah says something. Need to jump on that jump on
that train.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Roun here now with the podcast.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Okay, so being Halloween, I thought this was a fun
things to do. A week ago it was announced that
we were not going to be coming back for twenty
twenty six, so I thought, okay, I'll go and see
someone that I used to know in the fashion industry.
Speaker 5 (10:02):
Her name is Julie Graback.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
She designed the Virgin Airline uniforms that are still being
worn today. She won the first ever Project Runways designer
got really sick in sort of twenty nineteen, twenty twenty,
and decided to then follow her love of Psychic Okay.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Now we have put together a new intro for you.
I think Corey spent a lot of time on this.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Dear, and now it's womy time with Robin Bailey.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Well done, thank you. Yeah yeah, it's a triumph. Really.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
So Julie does card reading, so I showed her a
photo of each of you, and then she was pulling
cards and doing the reading for what she thought was
going to be in store for you. Kip White Men
for twenty twenty six.
Speaker 12 (10:48):
A little bit of a soft spot for kif I do.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 12 (10:53):
He's a lovely fellow.
Speaker 6 (10:55):
Is suck Scott for Kip he just wants everyone to
be happy, and I feel like he's a real neutralizer.
So it's actually not a surprise that it's the three
of you. So between you and Corey, I feel like
Kip is the neutralizer and keeping it all sweet. But
I feel deep down that Kip just wants everyone to
be happy. But then he also loves a good laugh
(11:16):
and he loves doing things for a story.
Speaker 12 (11:18):
So Kip loves the story. He's almost like a story
collector in a way. So look, the door's open for Kid.
It's almost up to him.
Speaker 6 (11:25):
There's a part of Kid that he loves the security,
but then there's also a part of him that's a
bit excited about the future. So there could be opportunity
for him to move. But the next card that I
pulled is you are your home, and then the next
one is a couple.
Speaker 12 (11:38):
And I don't think he's in a position to move.
Speaker 6 (11:40):
When I see it, I see Sydney, I don't think
he's in a position to move.
Speaker 12 (11:44):
So it's almost something here for him. So the next
step for him is to be here, so.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
In radio or something else.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
It could be in front of the camera. Ooh, I
would be surprised. Maybe some TV shows. He'll probably jump
between a couple, but he's definitely going to be in media,
and I feel that there'll be another part of him
that's sort of going to be unlocked because he's pretty
good at a lot.
Speaker 12 (12:03):
Of different things. He can sort of go in anywhere
and talk about anything. So he could literally.
Speaker 6 (12:09):
Go on a TV show about building a house and
then a fishing show.
Speaker 12 (12:13):
You've just named the.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
Two things he loves, right, So he literally would be
able to easily slip into.
Speaker 12 (12:18):
Both of those.
Speaker 6 (12:19):
And the freedom for him to have a bit more
movement is going.
Speaker 12 (12:22):
To be really good. Is going to have another baby?
Speaker 6 (12:25):
I think she wants one. She wants one, right, Yeah,
she wants one? Is she on pulling a card? They're
making plans, he's trying to work out how it's going
to be. I feel like he's actually waiting to see
what's happening next.
Speaker 12 (12:38):
But divine timing.
Speaker 6 (12:39):
Look, I feel like there could be another one.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Okay, Now that's the.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Bit that I wasn't gonna like it to like being
on a like a renovation or a fishing show.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Yes, that sounds awesome. Actually, yeah, Creek the Coast here
you go.
Speaker 8 (12:59):
Yeah, he actually could as long as you'm pushing buttons.
Speaker 6 (13:09):
Too.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
I have one more to go, and.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
That is Corey, are we going to do that before
the eight thirty news?
Speaker 5 (13:16):
And I will say she gets very.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Specifically about a place that she thinks Corey may end up.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
While afloat is that it's now with the podcast, Robin's
about to get w Corey has made an intro.
Speaker 8 (13:39):
And now it's wo time its Robin Bailey.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Thank you. It's very good. That was as though the
budget may have been cut.
Speaker 5 (13:50):
This, I've been very excited about this.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
If you just joined us, go back to our podcast
if you want to hear my reading and also keeps reading,
because so far both of them have made us.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Pretty happy about the future. About yeah, now that's your
prediction we're going to be working for but which is fine.
I would enjoy it actually.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
So I knowing that we are not going to be
together next year, I went and saw She's been a
friend of mine for a really long time, but I
knew her as a fashion designer. Her name is Julie Greback.
You probably know her as the one who designed the
Virgin Airlines uniforms, but after a really big battle with illness,
she decided she wanted to follow the dream of being
a psychic, and so she's been doing that for three years.
(14:34):
If you want to find her, thank God for Lilla
dot Com is her website. But what I did was
I just showed a photo of each of you and
then she laid cards and said what she thought was
going to happen, And this is Cory's all right, Cory.
Speaker 12 (14:50):
He just wants a good time.
Speaker 6 (14:53):
Cory just goes where the fun is and if there's
no fun, he's gonna make it fun. He's the type
of guy that just people gravitate towards him because he's
like a party starter. And I feel like between you
and Kip, he's almost like the naughty one, the one
that's probably saying stuff that everyone's thinking, and he probably
is a bit unfiltered. There's a part of Corey that
(15:15):
needs to be around people, but then he also needs
to find his place, so I wouldn't be surprised, like,
and I don't know why I'm seeing this, but there's something.
Speaker 12 (15:23):
Into womb before him.
Speaker 6 (15:25):
I feel like he's going to stay in media as well,
but he may sway out.
Speaker 12 (15:28):
There could be a.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Bit of coaching, as in football coaching because he's an
ex footballer, or do you mean as in media coaching,
like getting media gap.
Speaker 6 (15:36):
It feels more verbal rather than physical. So I feel
like he's got he's learnt a lot, and he's got
a lot to offer.
Speaker 12 (15:42):
So it could be.
Speaker 6 (15:43):
Not in media, in actual lifestyle like ah, corporate stuff,
and it could be yeah or something from his football days,
but it feels very verbal.
Speaker 12 (15:51):
So he's got a lot of that.
Speaker 6 (15:53):
But it feels like there's a couple of things, like
I see him on podcasts, I see him being a guest.
Speaker 12 (15:57):
I see him jumping around a bit more than Kip.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
So I see him sort of trying to find his
place in the world. He's sort of going, Okay, what
is it that I want to do. He's also setting
up his family, so he needs to make sure from
a financial aspect things are working. But if he's not
having fun, he doesn't want a bar of it. And
for him, he needs people to understand him. So he
has like an outgoing sense of humor and he keeps
(16:20):
things at a certain level and it's really light and airy,
so he needs that. But I see four different streams
of income for him. It's not just one contract well yeah,
but will he be successful?
Speaker 8 (16:32):
Oh yeah, this.
Speaker 12 (16:33):
Guy's going to be successful at whatever he does. He'll
make sure he is.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Children requests are happening in his family as well.
Speaker 12 (16:41):
How many kids does he have to Yeah, I was
gonna say three. I thought three, So there could.
Speaker 6 (16:45):
Be another time. And that's why he's got his hand
in his pocket for money.
Speaker 12 (16:50):
He's like, I need some cats. He's like, I'm gonna
have another kid. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (16:54):
Yeah, they're sort of drawing the plans at the moment,
so I feel like there could be another.
Speaker 12 (16:57):
Baby, but probably not for a year or two.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
But basically, what you're saying as we sit on Halloween
and head into an unknown year, that we're all going
to be okay.
Speaker 6 (17:05):
You're all going to be okay. You guys have got
your own magic. You're all going to be open in
a different way. And I love this.
Speaker 12 (17:12):
It's time to spread your wings.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Four four jobs, three kids to Woomba. Good time in
to Woomba. Yeah, okay, I.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Can imagine you're doing some coaching stuff for some mentoring,
Like isn't there a wasn't there a rugby league thing
into Woomba for a while. Nowhere these clubs is a
bit like a bigger kind of feeding.
Speaker 5 (17:36):
I don't know, I don't know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
Yeah, what do you think of that? You excited?
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely I'm excited with that.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Yeah, she's kind of on the head.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (17:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
So I predicted it all wrong. I thought you were
going to join the military solving equations like Matt Damon
and Goodwill hunting. But you know, I just missed the mark.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
On Hell.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Now with gios pod.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Halfway through the podcast. So I know that we've got
storms expected for the weekend. Is there and there's a
chance of a super cell? That just means what does
that mean? Well, it says there we go.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
So forecasts have placed millions on high alert as a
dangerous system threatens to unleash super cell storms and possible
tornadoes when when it's over the next twenty four hours,
bringing the height the risk isolated tornadoes.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
So they are.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
Saying has worn that Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunny Coast
are on the firing, lank Ipswich and the Darling Downs
are facing the highest risk. Yeah it peaks on Saturday, system.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Like Saturday afternoon, Saturday afternoon.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
So but yeah, that a tornado.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
That's freaky, Like, yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
We are, we're not ready for like can cope with that?
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Well.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
I think it's because when I mean, look at me,
I have no idea, so I don't believe anything else.
Speaker 8 (19:06):
Facts.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Yeah, And it took all my gumption to be able
to point in the opposite direction, because that's what you
have to do.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
In telling Yeah, so I know a lot about weather.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
No, but it's also because of the way we are
with the Great Dividing Range and to Womba and the
mountain system, that weather can get sort of trapped and
if it then hits into a mountain, which is what
happened at the gap. So it just came in at
full force and then stopped and then just took out
all these I mean, those houses, I don't think I'll
ever walking through. It was literally like they'd gone through
(19:39):
a hurricane.
Speaker 11 (19:40):
Really.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
Actually, speaking of have you seen some of the footage
in Jamaica over the last far out. That's sad, that's
so sad. Just it just makes you remember when we
had Alfred coming. It was a fizzer, but like it
was something like four times more power.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
Nearly up to three undy k wins and they got
that from this is what I read. Eleven hours they
got a category five. It stayed at five the whole
way across.
Speaker 5 (20:10):
This is the thing.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
I know people don't want to talk about climate change
and all that sort of stuff, but there are literal
islands that will just disappear, whole communities that no longer exist.
And Olivier, my partner who's from Europe, he said, we
don't get it in the same way the Europeans do.
Like when he was a kid, he used to be
able to ice skate from one town to the next
because their river would freeze, and they haven't been able
(20:33):
to do that for at least ten years.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Really, it hasn't made It just doesn't.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
It just doesn't get cold enough. And you know, we
probably are only going every time there's a big storm.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
More get those. It doesn't feel that different in questions
because we used to this sort of stuff.
Speaker 8 (20:48):
Yeah, the hail, I think is a difference.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Bigger hail.
Speaker 4 (20:52):
The hail is bigger, way bigger than what and they
reckon it's getting bigger again this weekend of it hales and.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
Then we're all The other thing is we're all like, okay,
you're trying to do the right thing. So you get
solar panels and then the hails, the huge hail just
decimates solar panels.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
Yeah, and that costume. Yeah, it's the same to replace.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
Exactly what a word living.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
We could create you you've been talking in the show
about those little umbrella hats that they could use the
to try. Maybe you could have like an umbrella system
that comes over the top of your house.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
Over the some type of house shield. Ye cost a
bit of the house on top of the house. So
you're living in like a dome.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
I'm still working on it.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
Okay, you don't go. You start with your little house
in Paddington, dome on the.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Top and I'll like press a button and there's dome
appears until the power.
Speaker 8 (21:49):
And I'm like mid dome.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Then you're stuck in the you don't have the power
to take the dome off. You're banging on the glass.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Is really struggled with losing that's gone to look at
the stunt.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
She's fulling dome.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
She's like Rob Now with Coos. The podcast.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Halloween and plenty of people getting at for a trick
or treating tonight. Plenty of people have spent a lot
of time setting up the house. I saw it on
the news last night. There's you know, there's a map
of places you can go, almost like the Christmas lights.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Well it was so funny because yesterday I took the
dogs for a walk purposely to go round the streets
and in my house to just see how many houses
were decorated, to know how many kids will come to
me right because I want.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
To do the right thing.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
You put stuff out the front, Well I will do tonight.
Speaker 5 (22:42):
I'll just do the lolly thing I think.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
I don't know that I'll necessarily add the pumpkin and
scary witches, but I love it.
Speaker 5 (22:48):
I love that pretty much hanned out lolly so high.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
Yeah, as you say that like it's on a witch,
as you can. There's a house down the road for me,
they've got like a they've set up a swing on
their tree out the front with a scalton on it,
and that that got rapped pretty good on the way
home from school. He was like, oh that's freaky. So
that was good. But as soon as there's something out
(23:12):
the front. That's what I noticed with the with kids
trigger treating. If you've got something, if they're spider webs
or whatever out the front. Then they know that's a
house that's going to give him to give the.
Speaker 4 (23:21):
Yeah, all I know is at it's it's just scary
enough at.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
Night, right ye wildlife.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
I've realized that what Huckson is going to be wearing
is the of pumpkins pumpkin suits the day here that
he and they gave it.
Speaker 8 (23:40):
So it's because they said he's the only give that.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
You know what I think? Yeah, I think it is
going to be a pumpkin suit as well. My eighteen
month old now Craiggy MaxEnt a message because you're trying
to get something across the line with your wife. Just
give us the give us the stats on this thing
you want to buy.
Speaker 11 (24:03):
It's a two meter tall animatronic dragon that breathes fire
and lights up and everything.
Speaker 9 (24:09):
What I mean that sounds cool?
Speaker 11 (24:13):
It's awesome, like there's no other way to describe it.
It's the best thing I've ever seen and it's going
to look phenomenal on my garage.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Okay, So, and why is your wife not into it?
Speaker 11 (24:24):
Because of the door value?
Speaker 3 (24:25):
How much is how much?
Speaker 11 (24:27):
Well, I argue, you can't put a price on cool.
Speaker 8 (24:32):
Five.
Speaker 11 (24:34):
What it's like, it's like thirteen hundred bucks.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
Whoa still a lot of money.
Speaker 8 (24:42):
That's a lot of money worth every penny.
Speaker 11 (24:44):
Can you be we'd be the king of the neighborhood
for Halloween?
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Can you Would it be good for any other event?
Is there any other Is it just a one off?
Speaker 11 (24:52):
Or maybe if you're having some sort of Game of
Thrones night. I guess it would be awesome.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Make that work because your wife always wanted to be Karlisi.
Speaker 11 (25:02):
I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
I want.
Speaker 6 (25:05):
Yes, I'm just.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Bringing on one of those big blonde plat wigs and no.
Speaker 5 (25:10):
It'll come to your house because they think the Red
wedding's going on.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
If the dragon's a rocket, don't coming off and to
brave his house. Now with the podcast, just having a
look at some of the things on around Brisbane this weekend.
We know there's the noose to try on. But oh
(25:36):
by the way, the good news is Rob Thomas is
next not this weekend, next weekend at Sandstone Point, so hopefully.
Speaker 5 (25:41):
They can dry out.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
They'll miss the rain. But there's the Brisbane Broncos Derby
race day that's on tomorrow.
Speaker 9 (25:46):
Eagle Farm, Ye are you going?
Speaker 3 (25:52):
There's the lot there's a full long Sunset Music Festival
on at Booner. That's with Like Boy and Bear, Gem
Cassadali Via Blue. That's on all weekend. It's like camping
and stuff. Yeah, So what's going to happen and what's
going to happen tonight? For trigger treaters when the kids
go out? Is it going to be pouring with Tony
Alden help us? What's going to happen? What are you
(26:16):
expecting to Let's go peak trigger treating time between four
and six tonight. What's going to happen?
Speaker 13 (26:25):
Okay, I don't think we'll see a repeat of that
huge Halloween storm from twenty twenty. We do have a
possible afternoon shower and storm on the forecast. I think
it's going to be few and far between. There will
probably be a severe selly in there, but it shouldn't
be too widespread. Hopefully most people just keep an eye
on the radar in the warnings. Most people should be
ready to get out trick with treating. A couple of
(26:45):
people might have to just delay for a little bit
and see if a shower of storm passes. So hopefully
it's almost all systems go to get out there.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
That's good. That is good.
Speaker 5 (26:54):
Relief, but that's also good for all the kids and
all the effort they put in.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
Okay. I was also assuming that the bomb app continues
to work, which it didn't last night.
Speaker 10 (27:01):
Is it back working?
Speaker 13 (27:02):
It did start working again yesterday afternoon. Having said that,
that color scale is still different to what we're have
for so maybe before the potentially biggert storms tomorrow, just
have an understanding of where you might want to get
your weather information. Recommend the old Bureau website myself.
Speaker 5 (27:20):
So low let's talk the rest of the weekend, neo
so to try.
Speaker 13 (27:24):
Okay, So I'm guessing most of that Sunday mornings. Are
there any activities tomorrow as well?
Speaker 5 (27:28):
Yes, right across the weekend.
Speaker 13 (27:31):
Okay, So we're expecting the biggest storms tomorrow, possible from
late morning, but I think it's really a mid to
late afternoon into evening. Some big ones around. Likely to
see some of those big dangerous super cells here and there,
huge hail, really nasty winds and rain. It's not every suburb.
We're going to get a scattering here and there. A
couple of places will be hit, but there's even a
chance it could sort of mush out into some heavy
(27:53):
rain into the evening and it's not too bad, but
we have all of those ingredients there, so late tomorrow
could be a decent dump of rain. Tomorrow night, the
road's likely into Sunday morning will probably be fairly wet,
but it should clear up Sunday morning, and then another
round of potential storms and Sunday afternoon not as widespread tomorrow,
but again, you just can't rule out the odds of yourself.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
So up and down the coast because that last big
storm last weekend, I mean, electricity was out in Kenmore
for days.
Speaker 11 (28:21):
That's right.
Speaker 13 (28:22):
We got smashed up at Mount Kusa, some serious damage
at Barden. They've only just cleared the road up to
Mount Cooper yesterday. That's how bad the trees were. They
were stripped there. That was a really nasty single. I guess, cell,
if you like, we do have the potential for multiple
really big storms right across the southeast. As I said,
everywhere won't be smashed, but we could see a few
(28:42):
of those nasty storms rolling through late tomorrow now.
Speaker 4 (28:45):
Toney, the wind, I think is what everyone's a bit
scared of. Is it a chance getting pretty high again?
Speaker 13 (28:52):
Yes it is. We could see some pretty damaging winds.
I'm actually a bit more concerned about the hail this time.
We've got a lot of instability, slightly different mix of
ingredients to the last time, and we've got a bit
more of a chance as some of that giant hail.
With these storms as always a mix of the warnings
and your preferred radar saw keep on top of it.
If you can have a plan to get your car undercover,
(29:13):
take shelter for a bid into tomorrow afternoon and evening.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
If you were going to this music festival in Boona
over the weekend where people are camping, what would you
still be going to personally, Well.
Speaker 13 (29:26):
The funny thing is a booner might they're still in
the firing line, but it could be further north. So
storms get going early down there. There's a chance they
could get a quick storm and it moves through and
then and the worst stuff is further north. Obviously, have
a plan, keep your car handy if you need to
take shelter for any reason.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
But maybe ungrade to kevlar tent.
Speaker 13 (29:49):
Go ahead with your plans. Just be aware of what's
happening around.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Okay, the most important question golf, If anyone plan to
play some golf.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
You're asking for a friend.
Speaker 13 (29:57):
Yeah, well, I'm all good for today. I'd argue anyone
playing to tomorrow afternoon. You want to be careful. The
earlier the tea time tomorrow, the better Sunday. Look, you'd
probably be a right again. A late Sunday armor, you
might just have a cell coming across. But I started
tomorrow afternoon is the main threat for everything.
Speaker 8 (30:16):
Ok.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
You grateful good man, Thank you to any Thanks guys,
You'll see more throughout the day on Channel seven with
Tony Orton. It's Robin, Kip and Correo. It's on Kiss
ninety seven three.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Robin Now with CoreOS the podcast.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
It's Sheer in Shape of You. It's Robin, Kip and Correo.
It's on Kiss ninety seven three seven twenty five. We're
going to give you question one for cash or crash
ten minutes from now. Do it right after seven thirty news.
That guarantees you two hundred and fifty bucks and then
you can double nothing a couple of times, go for
the full thousand.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
Robin's it's tell Him News. Dean Lewis.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
We play a lot of Dean Lewis.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
I've seen him a couple of times he's made an
emotional apology after being accused of inappropriate behavior by multiple women.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
Now I'm not sure how I feel about this.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
And I know Alana in our newsroom has been talking
about it as well. But like he's done some creepy stuff,
and there have women who've put up conversations they've had
with him on TikTok and Instagram and stuff. None of
it is illegal, Like he hasn't touched anyone. It's not
like P Diddy kind of scenario of age, and you
(31:28):
know it's not cute. But he's just gone on this
full page like I think it's like six or seven
page rand justifying himself and I'm thinking, buddy, you know,
saying it wasn't illegal. Things like I want to share
some thoughts on the recent posts about me on social media,
understand why people are angry and disappointed after learning embarrassing
details of intimate, private conversations about relationships I've had with
(31:51):
consenting adults over the past decade. I want to emphasize
none of this was illegal. So he's kind of I mean,
I understand, yes, and it's not cute, but maybe I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
He's a bit of Dean Lewis. So you know who
we're talking about.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
Love with somebody.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
It's all heartbroken romance.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Someone I loved.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
And when he's come in, he is a delightful man.
I have to say, it's really easy to talk to. Okay,
I'm not not excusing whatever. I haven't seen what he
wrote in these text messages, whatever, But that's gross that
somebody's he's sent private messages to people and then they've
shared that.
Speaker 8 (32:35):
That's what.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
What's when are we going to stop doing this?
Speaker 5 (32:38):
But it's not fair time he's got a public He.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
Sent a message ten years ago and now that's being
posted and he's ashamed of it, as there's plenty of
people be ashamed of things they said ten years ago
or to someone that they dated.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
Would you then do this massive apology and so I'm
going into intense therapy or would you just let it sit?
Speaker 5 (32:56):
I don't know the answer.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
Shouldn't have said anything, I don't think. I mean, were
all the videos old? Is that what it's like?
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Most a lot of them, I mean, And then other
women have come out and I should say they're creepy,
like from what I can tell, but it's not like
the it's not the legal Yeah, yeah, he's a better word.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
Yeah, I agree with on this one.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
You know why it shouldn't be that, it's not okay
just to get some of your private conversation you've had
with someone, even if it's via text, and release it
to the world.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
Meghan and Harry have appeared at Dodgeress Stadium and they've
been boomed.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
Oh no, an American sty They went to the World
Series Baseball game and they're enjoying a date night at
Dodgers in l A.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
And they came up on the big screen, you know,
the kiss cam thing, and there was a mixture of
cheers and boom.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
See I reckon if Harry they cheer him yeah, and
the probably boom Megan.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
It's the Megan factor. Yeah, I believe.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Well he go boys, I promise. Sweeny has print, I've
got print. Has a brand new haircut, and people were
very excited to see her.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
Bob she's cut all her hair off. But that is
not what got all the attention on the red.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
Carpet this year is Variety Power of Women in Los
Angeles event Now. She was wearing a sparkly it looks
like chain mail but really fine and thin.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
Or I see, so the nips are out, Chris right.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
And what I love about this photo because I think
you can wear whatever you want and she is so
confident and so amazing and I aimen to you Sydney Sweeney.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
Definitely very powerful. Yeah, that is a powerful message message.
I just want to make sure I get all the power.
I want to make sure I understand the powerful.
Speaker 8 (34:46):
Close up, Give me back.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Now with Core, with Robin, Kip and Corio. It's your
weekly Joseph.
Speaker 4 (35:05):
So this week started pretty to be honest, because we
had to address the news about our show next year.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
This show will not be coming back.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
Next year, but we are here until the twelfth of December,
which I'm actually really grateful forward to be honest, and
I reckon we should make a pact, but then we
don't discuss it again until the twelfth when we say goodbye.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
Exactly. No, I mean I think there'll be science for
showing you sloppy around, maybe some cruise control of.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
The non predictable.
Speaker 10 (35:35):
And in the Ender's right, hep you at the time
of your life.
Speaker 8 (35:41):
It may be a little sloppier.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
It was still gonna have some fun and we had
a good laugh when Rob asked what the stupidest thing.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
We brought out of option was, so you know, I
know my cars and everything, and there was a Lexus
four drive. I was like, okay, that's worth one hundred
and fifteen thousand. They said let's start there being at
eighty thousand, right, and I went, oh yeah, and I thought,
because I know it's going to go more than that.
And it went called once twice and then someone bid
(36:07):
eighty one thousand and won it. They saved me by thousand, Barbara,
whatever you're board out an auction fifty foot bow?
Speaker 5 (36:17):
How much was it, Barbara, one hundred and sixty five thousand.
Speaker 2 (36:21):
I had to arrange alone on the Monday morning.
Speaker 11 (36:24):
My husband was not a happy man.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
But I'm not left to go to any options again.
Speaker 11 (36:29):
I bought it an option. I can't help myself.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
Your money.
Speaker 4 (36:42):
And the other day I was scrolling through my Instagram
and saw a post from a billionaire guy with a
really nice Rolls Royce, but he wasn't even driving it
because he had a driver. So I wanted to know
what Robin Kid would still do even if they were billionaires.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
Second hand shopping, yes, of course, the glory of secondhand
shopping is in the Find About You.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
I would still go to the clearance isle at Bunnies
and look around at the bargains. All that hoses half rice.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
You're a billionaire, you could buy bunny.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
I know, but I'd still be like, what look at that?
Speaker 3 (37:13):
That's got a ten plus kink.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
Rating and it's fifty bucks. Yes, I'll take it. That's
full billion there.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
And my good mate and Bronco's captain Adam Reynolds, has
released his tell all book, So Rob one to find
all the mentions of.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
Me, and he says, I also became close friends with
Corey O. It's a winger I've played against for several years,
including in the twenty sixteen State of Origin series. We
only lived ten minutes apart, so Corey and I would
meet for morning coffee, so all the problems of the world,
discuss families, and if there was any time left, chat
about football. He was a country boy who has lots
of fun to be around, but impossible to shut up
(37:53):
once the first shot of caffeine enters his bloodstream.
Speaker 8 (37:57):
That's a pretty good summary.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
He must have liked that though, you know, like if
you just have a shot of coffee and then just
sit there and let you go.
Speaker 8 (38:04):
Ignore everything.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
Yeah, he'd sit there.
Speaker 8 (38:06):
I'll be chatting away and I'm like, did you do
anything I just.
Speaker 4 (38:08):
Said, and he said, it's been three and a half
four years of this and he goes, I love you,
but sometimes it just needs me type. We had a
confessions for cash that fired up Kip an eye.
Speaker 14 (38:23):
Ah. So, eighteen years ago, I pawned my engagement ring
and told my husband that I lost it during our
move during this day. He does not know they actually
pawned it.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
And it's Halloween today.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
So Kip tied us what he'll be dressing up as,
and I.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
Said, what do you want me to wear? And he said,
I want you to wear a ghost mask? And he said,
you know those ones that look like people are screaming,
And I'm going, oh, the one from screaming. Oh, they
are free here.
Speaker 5 (38:48):
At least your face will be covered.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
So it was not to scare the children.
Speaker 11 (38:53):
Oh dare you?
Speaker 3 (38:53):
Robert Bailey.
Speaker 8 (38:57):
That's it for your weekly dose of ootes.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
Have a great weekend, Brizzie, watch out for those storms,
and go the kangaroos again on Saturday nights.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
Running here Now with the podcast
