Speaker 3 (00:28):
To the podcast.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Good.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
It's Robin and ki now with Choreo. It's the podcast now.
The audio that you'll hear of the podcast from the
show today is a little bit different because we're not
in the studio. We're at the airport, broadcasting live from
the VIP lounge at the Brisbane International Airport and this actually,
does you do feel import from this room?
Speaker 5 (00:53):
This is like yeah, because.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
They didn't want to have us out there with all
the announcements are happening and people running around, and we
couldn't even be in like one of the other lounges.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
So that'd be good here and someone later there. Bill's
going to be a bit.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Someone running off. This is where you know famous people
and I guess politicians and so stay before their big five.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:12):
So we've been broadcasting from down here, but our bags
have been whisked away. United Airlines have been so so
helpful to USK because we know finish at nine o'clock
and then the flight leaves at ten twenty, so we
do have to scare at all. Yes, but I'm curious
about this morning, like, were you throwing clothes into a bag?
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Is that how last minute you're packing?
Speaker 5 (01:33):
Was you two? Oh yesterday afternoon? I started?
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Did you think about it?
Speaker 5 (01:39):
No?
Speaker 7 (01:41):
I pretty much just got home, went and trained and
then I went. So I packed my bag.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
I did it. I started, and I struggled.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah, so why did you struggle? How did you get helps?
Let's let's delve into this problem now with courios the podcast.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
We had when You're away sick, Corey.
Speaker 6 (02:07):
We had Emma Memma in the studio and she is Emma,
former Yellow Wiggle and now doing amazing things on her own,
doing her own shows with sign language and so on,
and she is a really lovely human being. And you
did something that I think I felt uncomfortable about it.
I did feel uncomfortable about it, but I know your
intentions were really good. So, and Corey, I think you
(02:31):
do a version of this. So whenever we have pretty
women in the studio, yes, you kissed them hello even
though you've never met them.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Yeah yeah, so okay, that's yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
No, please, well that's what I had.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
I do you go full lips on the g the
lips on my no, because she was actually in full makeup.
She had the hair and everything. So we sort of,
you know, did an air like when in But yeah,
I think I do that. I was thinking you'll do
that at the time. We had a parent thing at
school the other night, like a you know, it was
like an eighties prom night, trivia night with all the
(03:11):
parents from Rappie School, and I think, yeah, with the men,
I shook hands. In with the ladies, I kiss to
low Why the.
Speaker 6 (03:17):
Total strangers and it's a business transaction and you don't.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Know them, but I've spoken to before. I don't know her,
but I felt it's a welcome See my thing is, isn't.
Speaker 7 (03:27):
I I so I am all for this because you
shake when bloke say you shake hand right, But then
I've gone in and just gone for the cuddle.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
But then they've gone for the yeah, the cheek.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
It's like a woman a woman for a cuddle.
Speaker 7 (03:42):
No, it's like it's like a half hug.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
I get a handshake.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
I don't want you touch me.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
You can, but it's really that's interesting.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Okay, Well please seriously, I look because the thing.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Is it not a thing?
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Not a thing for me. It's not a good it's
not creepy.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
But you're with a you're with a French speaking Belgian
is does he go the triple kiss? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (04:09):
A little growth here and she agrees with me, So okay, See,
I know your intentions are long, but I.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Just feel like she's dressed.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
It's it's like a cheek on cheek.
Speaker 6 (04:23):
That you're invading her space like you don't know her.
She's a total stranger. And you did it to.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Samantha Ja too. Yeah, I mean you do it to everyone.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Yeah, and this is the thing every woman kiss to say.
Speaker 5 (04:38):
I go in and I go strong.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
I don't want to give a hot mate.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
I can do a strong handshake.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
This is because.
Speaker 6 (04:50):
Now you're like treating us like we're delicate, or that
we're intimate, or like I'm a business It's not.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
I think intimate is definitely not the worst from.
Speaker 8 (04:58):
The news, you guys, Because I was in the room
and I saw this happen and I thought, yes, that's
a bit odd, and then really and yes, yes I
did because I thought, well, I'm I'm not going to
do that to her. And then also when we left,
I felt I actually felt like I had to say
at the end I'm like, oh, I'm not going to
give you a hug just because of sickness, But I
wasn't going to give her a hug because she was
(05:19):
a stranger, and I felt like that was inappropriate for
me to hug a stranger.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Does make them not a stranger?
Speaker 3 (05:26):
One six five.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
I'm really curious about this because I do feel like
that is like back in.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
The old days, old days, that's what she did. People
are still doing it. People are kissing. I don't kiss
you lead with the handshake though.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Oh come on, I'm a big hugger and kisser.
Speaker 6 (05:44):
I'm a big hugger and kiss it, but I don't
hug and kiss random men.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Random again passion, So like someone's coming around your house.
That's our workhouse.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
But you just said that you did that at the
school to random.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah, but they were parents of you know, they're they're
going to be friends. Okay, thirty one, O six five.
Speaker 6 (06:04):
Okay to five calls okay, five person, five person?
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Pole, See who is right here?
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Okay, So just if you're on our side, get on
the phone right now. It's COREO.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
We are in the midst of a poll to find
out whether is is appropriate to kiss a stranger on
meeting them. Kip does it with women?
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (06:30):
And only with women?
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Yeah, well I wouldn't do it when Cam Monster came
in probably would the why because it's different.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
It's hands with the man, you kiss the woman on
the cheek.
Speaker 6 (06:39):
I'm not a trad wife like. It's not different like
it's the.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
So so far it's for the kisses. We have one.
Speaker 6 (06:50):
We're going to take five calls, so this will be
a definitive answer. Marcus of Green Bank A kiss. Is
it okay to kiss a total stranger when you meet
them for the first time?
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, good morning. Yeah, I completely think it's one hundred
percent acceptable. You know I'm with you, Kip.
Speaker 9 (07:10):
You know I'm the first generation born here in Australia.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
My family is all Europeans and.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
We don't hold back.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
We kiss the females and we kissed the males at
the same time.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
So see, and this is mark is to be fair.
Speaker 6 (07:24):
If kiss Kip kissed the blokes as well, then that
is a Kip thing in the division that I find
makes it uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Okay, so let's go to be fair. That's two men.
Speaker 6 (07:37):
Jennifer of Brevengary East kissing, not kissing.
Speaker 9 (07:41):
No, no, no, no, don't do it. If you know
them on a personal level, sure, go for gold. But
if they're a total stranger and it's the first time
you're meeting them, don't. If you would come to me
and try and kiss me, I'd probably knuckle you.
Speaker 7 (07:55):
So, Jennifer, would you lead with the handshake though you
wouldn't obviously come close. You'd just leave with the hand
wouldn't you.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Okay?
Speaker 6 (08:09):
So third teen one oh six, five we want to
find out We're going to take the five call, Paul.
Let's go to Michelle of Baronia Heights to kiss or
not to kiss?
Speaker 10 (08:19):
Michelle gouys it's kind of creepy, but if it's coming
from Kip or Corey, I'm brought it down with that.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
Yeah, that's us, that's a tick.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Yeah, I'll take greefy.
Speaker 6 (08:37):
You do realize, though, that the two that you have
on your side of men and the two that you
have Michell she knows, she.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Said, she doesn't like it, except for you too.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Well, doesn't want it's okay for me.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Yes, I'm trying to educate you.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
Yes, I'm trying to help you and show let's carry on,
can show you.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
That women don't necessarily like this.
Speaker 6 (09:01):
Okay, so the last definitive caller thirteen one O six five.
Are we going to be kisses or non kisses when
it comes to this?
Speaker 2 (09:11):
We got now where we should say as well. We're
broadcasting live from the Brisbane International Airport today, so we're
working on laptops. We're heading to Vegas directly after the show.
Here we go the Waking street Boys, but we've got
we've got.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
The final one. This is the most important Sammy from
park Ridge. What do you think, Sammy?
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Yeah, we got Sammy?
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. It's just friendly, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (09:42):
Definitely yeah, Okay, I'm taking out of this conversation that
I think you need to really think about.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Yes, it's actually not about you.
Speaker 6 (09:52):
Yeah, it's about Sammy and and Sammy says it's cool
and that's fine, but a lot of women are saying
it's not cool, so maybe don't necessarily.
Speaker 7 (10:01):
I'm more I wait for the for the woman, like
if she hand on handshake for all money.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
You watch poor get confused from now on?
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Why do you want me to be here? You're going
on this?
Speaker 11 (10:17):
We fizz bumping out Chris knuckles what's up, emm My
Memma knuckles.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
And then we blow it up Lada. Good luck with
a Wiggles.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 11 (10:31):
Our next guest is loved by kids and parents right
across the country. You might know her as the former
Yellow Wiggle. Now she's bringing her world of color, music,
movement and Osland to life as Emma Memma. And guess what,
(10:52):
Emma Members Dance Island Party is back. It's a celebration
of dance, singing and song and tickets are on sale
now at live nation dot com dot Are you please
welcome the wonderful Emma Mema A Memma, thank.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
You and so you're this is part of your national tour.
The tour has gone off. You've hadded all these extra shows,
the Princess Theatre, Will and Gabbatt. We are closest one.
Speaker 12 (11:16):
Brisbane and the Gold Coast have certainly been places where
everyone complains if we don't come back. Yes, so it's
been really important for us to come back multiple times.
And this is very early days. Fram A Memmo. You know,
I was with the Wiggles for twelve years and then
branched out to do my PhD and finally finished that
and through that research, Emma Mema came out of that.
(11:36):
Emm A Memo is a vehicle to, you know, see
how we can give children more accessible media. And it's
just taken off.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
So are you.
Speaker 6 (11:44):
I mean obviously being able to sign at each performance
and being so inclusive to kids that come here, but
I'm also guessing the flip side of that is to
open up to just children who can here that there
is this whole other language and this whole other world
that they possibly would never know existed.
Speaker 12 (12:01):
And look for most children that come to the show,
they don't actually know that we're signing. You know, myself
and my co performer, who is profoundly deaf, Elvin, performs
the Higher show through sign and through dance. But it's
a musical show. The whole show is musical.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
It must have been a big call for you.
Speaker 6 (12:17):
First of all, Yellow Wiggle for twelve years, first female Wiggle.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
That was a risk.
Speaker 6 (12:25):
I mean you became like I have a goddaughter who's
ten and I think for four or five, maybe even
six years, the only thing she ever wanted for her
birthday was an updated Yellow Wiggle outfits that so beautiful.
Speaker 12 (12:41):
Yeah, it's really that phase of life, and I think
that's what's so nice about, you know, being in this world.
Not that I ever thought that I would do this,
but I've naturally fallen into this place, which I genuinely adore.
And you get to see children through that period of life,
which is so special, and also being able to tour
every year, we get to see the same families coming
to the shows and then you become friends.
Speaker 6 (13:03):
The other thing I will say, and this is kind
of serious and from the sideline, but it is something
you have highlighted and been such a grain breaker. Four
is endometriosis and talking about that too.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
Was that part of your plan?
Speaker 12 (13:18):
I don't think anything's been part of I mean, I've
definitely learned to go with the flow. But you know,
when I was really unwell and I was doing four
shows a day, six days a week, like it was
a lot, and I started to notice symptoms and I
was like, this is not quite normal.
Speaker 5 (13:34):
You know.
Speaker 12 (13:34):
At that time, it was important to be really transparent
with the audience because I was the only female. Most
of the questions that I was receiving from media was
are you pregnant? And I was completely the opposite of that.
So it didn't make sense for me to have time
away from the show, which I'd never had, because everyone
would think that I was about to have a baby.
(13:55):
So we decided that it was more important to be
you know, really true and honest to the audience. And
you know, I was going in for surgery and at
that time, you know, when I look back, I was
so young.
Speaker 6 (14:06):
Yes, so brave, like to be a national stage, international
stage like that. It's like Bindi Irwen, you know, unless
these conversations happen.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
We talked about it fairly recently.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
And it was gobsmacking how many people have been impacted,
and yet no one talks about it because you get
asked the question.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
Oh are your breaking?
Speaker 4 (14:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (14:27):
Always, And you know, through those conversations, you know, we
you know, you meet other people that are also suffering
or they're trying to work out what's going on. And actually,
you know, after I'd announced my departure, you know, from
the legals to do the surgery, I actually got a
text from Bindi saying, hey, do you think I have endo?
And so she actually was running things. She was like,
(14:48):
do you get this symptom? Do you get this? I
was like, look, I'm not a professional but I think
you need to go and see someone. Ain't Bindi and
I mates, so I've got Gooseby And when she said
it to me, I was thinking, Wow, you know, you
just don't know who is And that's not just ENDO,
that's anything anything in life, you know what people are
dealing with. But yeah, obviously since Bindi has been so
(15:09):
vocal about her journey and how much it's affected her,
and you know, I really respect, you know, how much
awareness she's brought to Endotrus's mate.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
You started, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 12 (15:21):
But you know I think you know, it had to happen,
I guess, but I never thought that it would turn
into this yeah, flow on effect.
Speaker 6 (15:28):
But look at you, based on everything you've just told us,
you haven't actually anticipated any of this.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
I know.
Speaker 12 (15:35):
Yeah, And it's been an amazing journey. And mostly at
the shows, you know, particularly in meet and greets, a
lot of women, a lot of mums talk to me
about their own personal journey with ENDO, and they're very, very,
very supportive, and you know, people are willing to share
those kinds of details.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Well, we have a surprise for you, and I love
the fact that you wanted it to be a surprise.
We were trying to tell you, wait, surprise me.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
No, I love a surprise.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
This is something we like to do on the show
just once a week where it's called what's My Scene,
where we take a lovely moment in film and generally
butcher it, but going to a scene from a fail
and it generally culminates in a song. And it just
so happens to be a song that I think will
be in your wheelhouse? Wow.
Speaker 12 (16:15):
Do we get to sing it together?
Speaker 3 (16:17):
I will help, can you please?
Speaker 6 (16:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Robin gets mad at me when I help too much,
because time I want you to help is that as
I will try.
Speaker 12 (16:24):
We want people to be included, going along at home
wherever you're listening.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Okay, let's do it next.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
Kip and coreotes.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
What's My Scene? And we have a very special guest
this morning for What's My Scene? Emma Memos in the
studio with us.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Okay, So you've requested no preparation. You just want to
go live with this.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Don't you reckon? I think that's more fun for all.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Of them, for you excellent, I agree. So we're doing
a scene from Little Mermaids.
Speaker 8 (16:58):
Wow, and Ilana hear from the newsroom as well, I'm
in to narrate, very excited. So we've got Emma.
Speaker 12 (17:05):
You will be Ariel. Wow, thank you. I was thinking
about Sebastian, but that's okay.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
So we've got he's not in this scene.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
That's fine.
Speaker 8 (17:15):
You're going to be Robin will be Flounder.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Will we scuttle?
Speaker 2 (17:19):
So what scuttle? The scuttle of a bird?
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Scuttlefish? I think it's the sea.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
It's a seagull. Okay, yeah, he is a bird. Okay,
I'm a seagull, so okay.
Speaker 8 (17:31):
Scene setting the scene. Ariel has just come to the
surface with Flounder to visit her seagullfriend's scuttle after finding
human things at the bottom of the ocean.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Okay, wow, what a shwim Oh.
Speaker 12 (17:43):
Scuttle, Look what we found.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Yeah, we're in a sunken ship and it was really
creepy human stuff.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
Hey, well, let me see.
Speaker 8 (17:51):
Scuttle starts rummaging around an Ariel's bag of human things
from the sea.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Oh look at this.
Speaker 5 (17:57):
Oh oh wow, wow, wow, this is special.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
This is a very unusual.
Speaker 7 (18:02):
Oh whoa what is it that shed dingle hopper?
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Humans use these little babies two street under hair.
Speaker 12 (18:10):
Of course, I just added that.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
You've got esthetically pleasing configuration of hair. The humans go
nut chova.
Speaker 12 (18:23):
Yeah, a dnkleofer.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
What about this one?
Speaker 8 (18:27):
Flounder points to a wooden tobacco pipe.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
It seems inappropriate for kids.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Ah.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
This this, I haven't seen one of these in years.
This is wonderful.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
A bandit bobush schnar flat.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
Now, the schnar flat dates back to prehistorical times when
humans used to shit around and stare each other all day,
very boring. They invented this schnar flat to make fine music.
Speaker 8 (18:50):
Allow me, this scuttle tries to play the pipe by
blowing through it music.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
It's stuffed.
Speaker 12 (18:57):
Oh the concept, Oh my gosh, my father's gonna kill me.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
The concept was today. Ah, maybe you can make it
that little planter out of.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
It or something.
Speaker 12 (19:07):
I'm sorry, I've got to go. Thank you scuttle anytime?
Speaker 3 (19:09):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Okay, are you ready for song? And we're gonna do
the bit with the words in it, because apparently it's
quite hard to follow along too, especially if you've not practiced.
Speaker 12 (19:16):
Oh we've never practiced, but I think we should comment,
you know, through the song.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Okay, So a new version of directions.
Speaker 12 (19:23):
Comments, Yeah, of part of that world.
Speaker 4 (19:24):
I'm a little mermaid. We don't see how a world
that makes such wonderful things.
Speaker 12 (19:30):
What a beautiful song. By the way, we can't ruin
it by singing this stuff.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
You no look at it?
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Sing scuttle, elections complete, you're going to sing?
Speaker 12 (19:40):
Wouldn't you think?
Speaker 3 (19:41):
I'm a girl?
Speaker 12 (19:42):
The girl who was everything?
Speaker 3 (19:46):
Ghost cuttle?
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Look at there's twelve specials. I'm told how many wonders
can one? Look at your round you think, sure, she's
got everything.
Speaker 12 (19:59):
Of course, I've got gadgets and gizmos a plenty.
Speaker 5 (20:03):
I've got who's this? And what's it's?
Speaker 4 (20:05):
Colore?
Speaker 12 (20:07):
You want think vulnerables, I've got to empty.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
But who cares?
Speaker 12 (20:12):
Scuddle, it's no big deal.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
I want more.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
I always want more, always wrong. I want to be
where the people.
Speaker 12 (20:26):
I want to see want to see him.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Dance scenes and what do you call him?
Speaker 2 (20:34):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Feet?
Speaker 12 (20:36):
There they are ups you don't get too far.
Speaker 3 (20:41):

Speaker 5 (23:30):
Nearly broad. What about me.
Speaker 7 (23:33):
I've gone through all these like casual pants that used
to be so comfortable.
Speaker 5 (23:37):
I'll stretch it. They were like beechy, like those bodies,
but they were like nice. They're like nice pants. Put
them on. My mask got fat, my legs are too big.
They like tights and Monte sitting there. Help me.
Speaker 7 (23:49):
She goes, they're a bit tight, dad, six year old.
Speaker 5 (23:57):

Speaker 5 (24:00):
Yeah, she goes, Daddy, you're going to be gone for
a bit.
Speaker 7 (24:03):

cry tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
Fun Kids Now with.
Speaker 7 (24:17):
Corey the podcast.
Speaker 6 (24:20):
That we are broadcasting live from the International Airport in
this really cool special VIP room, which is where all
the famous people come like Margo, Robbie and Orlando.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Blue have sat in this very chair.
Speaker 6 (24:32):
Yeah, they come through here rather than have to deal
with all those people, all those commoners, washed the unwashed
up in the departure lounge. So, yes, we are heading
off to Vegas. Our flight leaves at ten forty this morning.
But Cory and I decided to go up to the
Great to see.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
The people with the people.
Speaker 6 (24:53):
How lovely of you well that we were just we
could see that the United Airlines line they were waiting
to open the gate, and yeah, there were a lot
of people milling around and chatting, and so Corey found
an Australian.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
Yeah, and yeah, we we thought our troubling together.
Speaker 7 (25:10):
And it turns out she just tapped a will on
the shoulder and they started to having a chat.
Speaker 6 (25:14):
Yeah, this other guy who you will hear from in
a sec but you started to.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Talk to her.
Speaker 7 (25:19):
Yanna about Texas well, traveling and especially Texas because that's
where she is going and she actually travels a lot.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
I love the States. I go pretty much every two years.
So yeah, yeah, this time is just all about Texas.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
Oh I'm jealous.
Speaker 7 (25:36):
I want to go to Texas Texas.
Speaker 6 (25:38):
Oh yeah, it's this is like a bucket listing for me.
Speaker 5 (25:41):
So yeah, yeah, I'm so jealous.
Speaker 7 (25:44):
I want to go to the big country music festival
that they have around Is it Nashville?
Speaker 1 (25:48):
They do a big national further around but yeah, yeah, is.
Speaker 7 (25:51):
It around thee My bucket list is like she feels
all about the music.
Speaker 5 (25:55):
Yeah, doing that and then and then going to a
big festival.
Speaker 7 (25:57):
But yeah, Texas is always a place that I wanted
to go, So I'm jealous.
Speaker 5 (26:02):
I hope you have fun.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
I love how you confused because she said, I want
to go to Texas, Texas, and then talk about a
place in Tennis Head.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
I'm going Nation.
Speaker 7 (26:17):
But it was just it's something always wanted to do
with the zone, Like, yeah, gotcham so jealous.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
But can I tell you.
Speaker 6 (26:27):
She was chatting to a whole bunch of people that
were lining up, And there is something about this flight
that is actually extraordinary for us, because it is quite
possibly going to be the safest plane trip you have
ever taken in your life. And the reason is that
it is full of Americans. And one of those Americans
is Will And I asked him why he was going home?
Speaker 4 (26:52):
Just an exercise, you guys know Tarasman.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
Yes, the military.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
Yeah, it's just here for exercise.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Oh wow, did you have fun?
Speaker 4 (27:02):
Yeah? It was great. It was great. I visited the city.
I seen kangaroos everywhere.
Speaker 5 (27:07):
The kangaroos.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Yeah, what was what was.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
Your favorite part?
Speaker 4 (27:12):
Probably the city, the city on the kangaroos.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
Kangaroos.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Really, I love kangaroos. They're cute.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
Yeah, they're dangerous, some of them dangerous.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
But if you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone.
I'm ready to go home to you. You've been about
a month or so. Yeah, that's a trip.
Speaker 5 (27:31):
That's a big trip.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
I did not know that they flew domestic those big
planes when they sit in the parashting.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Mat, can I tell you there's lots of them.
Speaker 6 (27:41):
They're big, big muscly guys with their kids and camouflage.
Like I would say, seventy percent of flight is going
to be American military going home because they had some
extraordinary like thirty thousand troops, like I like doing this
particular thing for the last month.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
And so, yeah, they're on air flight about six foot
he was tiny.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
What, Yes, they're all biggest. Yeah, well that means you're
getting upgrade to the exodiles.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
Not likely. That is the first thing he realized.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
You like being.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Not today, Bud. I'm just worried about all their backpacks
in the overhead luggage. We're going to room no, okay.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
But I promise we have recorded all this on video.
Speaker 6 (28:25):
You'll be able to check us out wandering aimlessly through
the departure house. Let's start with a very interesting local story.
Now we are seven years out from the Olympics, and
of course as locals we're talking about when they're going
to start building stuff for sweating, yeah, and what it's
(28:47):
going to do to our lifestyle. But little do we
know that there are lots of investors looking at our
fair city because there will be so much more interest
directly before and then for decades afterwards. And some of
those investors apparently Middle Eastern investors, and there is one
group in particular who are looking at a can't even
(29:10):
believe I'm going to say this Kobulcher for a place
to build a Dubai themed like theme park, Okay, because
you do like the best theme parks that next level, right,
and they want to put it at k Well, I
would say the real estate is cheap, yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
Well not as it used to be used to be.
Speaker 6 (29:33):
But it's halfway between the Sunny Coast, which is beautiful.
Beaches on the SubTime Coast are extraordinary.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
If you think about back in the day when they
built dream World Sea World like, that area was was
barren wastelands between Brisbane and the Gold Coast and they
were like, no, we're going to make it something and
they did not. The Kulcher is barren wasteland, but would.
Speaker 5 (29:54):
Like flood area.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Well parts of it up, but so is all the Brisbane.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Yes, it don't make it work.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
That is an interesting thing.
Speaker 6 (30:02):
Don't know who they are, but apparently they are snooping
around and liking what they are.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
That's massive news. If you've got a house in kabulcha
you could be seeing some seal around all those areas
close to what is head for Valley is.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
Now.
Speaker 6 (30:22):
As Kip said, we are broadcasting from a very special
VIP room which is in the vaults of the international Airport.
We were whisked down here so that we could have
a you know, sort of some privacy, but also so
there wasn't a huge amount of noise so we can
tell you guys what's going on now. It turns out
that this room is for all the VIPs that fly commercial.
(30:43):
So if they're on a first class ticket and they
don't want to have to deal with everyone else, then
they come into this room. And I have a list
of There are thirteen people on this list who have
in the last five years been through this very room
and sat on these very seats.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Very comfortable seats.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
Okay, I want you to list your top three.
Speaker 6 (31:02):
Are you Ready, Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Potter, Okay, Ed.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Shearon, George Clooney and yes, apparently he is as good
looking in real life.
Speaker 6 (31:12):
The Hemsworths, Justin Bieber, Luke Combs, Margo Robbie, Michael Boublay,
Morgan Wollen, Natalie Portman, Orlando Bloom, Robbie Williams, Roger Federer,
give me your three kit.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
Oh my godness, got mine. That is an all star cast.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
Okay, does need more time to process.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Than the obviously bebes is that that's a huge one.
A Shearer, that's a huge way.
Speaker 7 (31:39):
On, Roger Orlando and Alfred mcgirl in Margot Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Was so kind.
Speaker 6 (31:48):
He did ask so as soon as we came in
here and heard that Margo Robbie had said in one
of these chairs, he wanted to know which one is that?
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Why you've been walking around sitting in all the chairs?
Speaker 3 (31:59):
He can say, Robbin's g sure.
Speaker 6 (32:03):
Also, there's been some pretty impressive movies and TV shows
shot here at the International Airport and people have come through.
True for example, Ticket to Paradise, Julia Roberts, George Clooney,
Yeah really yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
Clooney's pretty massive. Sorry, that's he's my third, Ed Sheer
and the Bebes. But Clooney, that's pretty about royalty as
far as Hollywood. And he's been in this room.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
He's been in this room.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
Like we're soiling it both be he was the second
name of the list or something.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
Are recording.
Speaker 6 (32:35):
We will show you all the inside stuff that these
people took part of.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
But it's pretty cool at the International Airport.
Speaker 5 (32:42):
Absolutely, and then we've just bought that list down and.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Really quite a night.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
With Robin, Kip and Courier.
Speaker 6 (32:53):
It's your weekly Joseph.
Speaker 7 (32:59):
So we didn't get off to a great start. I'd
come up with this amazing idea to try and give
away a million dollars with the million Dollar suburb. It
was all starting on Monday, and then I picked up
the flu not just one type though.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Got a test and he's got influenza a NB.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
What a high achiever.
Speaker 7 (33:16):
I was too crooked to talk while I was in
the is a dungeon, So Robin and Kipp spoke to
my wife Teagan.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
If Corey doesn't go to Vegas, if for some reason
he's sick and can't go, is that a relief to
you or does that.
Speaker 8 (33:26):
Not help you at all? I hope you can go.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
I hope you can go sit down for a break,
even though you've got two kids.
Speaker 8 (33:35):
To look out.
Speaker 7 (33:35):
I just want to stop cooking dinner five nights a week.
Speaker 6 (33:38):
I wanted those meals, but you just put in a
microwave or he.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
Not speaking for a couple of days.
Speaker 6 (33:43):
Oh my goodness, mate, the words he's going to accumulate.
Speaker 7 (33:46):
I know you guys to show micro for six hours
when despite me being sick, Robert had kicked off the
million dollar suburb. One lucky person in Brisbane is going
to get the shot at one million dollars. When you
hear your suburb, you call using it one step closer
to having a crack at a meal like these people did.
(34:07):
Broccoli mark as a mark as marks.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
You're a big fan of rock.
Speaker 7 (34:12):
It's just so dance cracking, tan't there.
Speaker 10 (34:20):
I know that we actually do spend quite a bit
of time out there walking the dog.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Is it on a big hill? That cemetery is thin?
Speaker 4 (34:27):
It is?
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Oh yeah, And you see cyclists getting up to the
top and they are almost ready to be buried just
while that hole's there.
Speaker 8 (34:34):
Just chucked me that I have done.
Speaker 7 (34:39):
Even you know, Sonya Krue could chose her favorite Bristmas
suburb because she grew up here.
Speaker 11 (34:43):
Tell the people, now, what suburb is.
Speaker 4 (34:45):
It going to be?
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Well, it's going to have to be bean.
Speaker 10 (34:47):
Lee's Lee, Australia's oldest Rum Distillery.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
I was a tall guy at the Rum Distillery. Wow.
Speaker 7 (35:01):
Really to high school.
Speaker 8 (35:03):
I had a part time job.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
I didn't even know if it was legally left. It
doesn't sound like. I love talking there, taking people true
and talking about the history and habit that all fell
over and flooded.
Speaker 9 (35:14):
The river and the fish got drunk.
Speaker 7 (35:20):
Not only do we have the shot at life changing cash,
we also had it cheering tickets to give away all week.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Scarlet out of Ferny Grave.
Speaker 12 (35:27):
Hello so much?
Speaker 2 (35:33):
What are you saying? Thanks for.
Speaker 9 (35:36):
It?
Speaker 4 (35:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:37):
It is you want to.
Speaker 6 (35:40):
Oh and you are crying for edge here And that's
how much he means.
Speaker 11 (35:44):
I love him. He helped me through a lot. It's
a lot to be going.
Speaker 7 (35:50):
While I was away, Robertie Kid got talking about how
long you've gone without getting your car serviced. I couldn't
believe some of these calls.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
Seri of Flinders.
Speaker 7 (35:57):
View High six years, six years.
Speaker 9 (36:01):
The only reason why it's not going.
Speaker 6 (36:03):
Still today is because there was a car accident.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
It took a crash to stop that thing from going.
Speaker 3 (36:10):
Worry of Benfengary.
Speaker 6 (36:11):
So my twenty ten to a highlights when one hundred
and forty five thousand kilometers without a service?
Speaker 3 (36:16):
Wow, what happened to it? Nothing? Right, nothing, Nothing happened
to it until after our service at about fifty thousand
days after that service, and.
Speaker 12 (36:25):
Then it just died and then wouldn't go anymore.
Speaker 4 (36:27):
And I sold it.
Speaker 6 (36:28):
For about eight hundred bucks at the record.
Speaker 7 (36:30):
Right, And while I was sick, I was gurgling some
home remedies so I could hopefully recover quicker. But I
don't think I'll be trying this remedy in my front
yard in Sanford.
Speaker 5 (36:42):
It's called butthole sunning. Then you heard that correctly.
Speaker 7 (36:48):
There's a wellness trend involving exposing the butthole the sunlight.
They claim it can boost energy, improved sleep, and promote
overall well being. However, there is no scientific evidence to
support these claims.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
So are you telling me is this what you did
to cue it?
Speaker 2 (37:06):
Did you? Correos?
Speaker 11 (37:07):
No?
Speaker 2 (37:07):
Wait a minute, what we have Michelle from Samford, who
is Cory's neighbor, Oh my goodness, Michelle.
Speaker 8 (37:16):
Hi, Cory, Hi, can you let me know next time you're.
Speaker 7 (37:20):
Going to do that, maybe I'll give it a crack
in Vegas. It's gonna be forty degrees. Well, not in Vegas, baby,
I can let out my childhood dreams seeing the Factory
Boys live in concert. We'll live in Vegas all week
next week, I'll promise I'll be my best behavior.
Speaker 5 (37:40):
That can't now that last week was absolutely rubbish.
Speaker 7 (37:43):
Have a great weekend, Brizzie. I'll send you a postcard
from Vegas.
Speaker 4 (37:49):
It's a lite to
