Speaker 1 (00:12):
I heard podcasts year more, kiss podcasts, playlists and listen
live on the Free.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Rominie Kiev Now with Correos the Podcast.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Okay, so this week in my life, worst week to
try and do it because of the weather. But I've
been trying to finish off my backyard. Anyone who follows
me on socials will be saying that I've spent like
hours and hours and hours lugging soil. We've moved two
tons of soil. We've done. We put back down yesterday.
And the other thing that I did was on Marketplace
(00:57):
was I bought a lawn mower.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Oh, you've never had a mower.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
I've never.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Bought Marketplace.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
Yeah, I know why.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
Why you're worried about it.
Speaker 6 (01:10):
Yeah, I don't trust anyone with likes lawnmowers that way.
Probably last year eight months.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I don't mind. You wanted to break, wanted to part, Okay,
like this is the brave New world of Robin Bailey
because I don't have a contract next year, and so
you know, my income stops very very shortly. So all
the things that I have got other people to do
for me, including my children, I'm now going, hey, I've
(01:36):
got to do this myself. Okay, so it was much
more economical to buy a lawn lawnmower for one hundred bucks.
So Iobie lawnmower YEP, three thirty six fold a Bauttery one.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah that's right, Yeah that's what is what?
Speaker 7 (01:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (01:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (01:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:53):
So anyway it works.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Yeah, actually work.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
But I did it and I hated it.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
You hated why because I.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Can't like it? Does my head in, I can't see
where I'm going and don't want you with me on
Riper Snippery you know. I did Ripper, but for the
first time as well, because I bought that off marketplace.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
To me as well. So you've got that match things
from the.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Same person who was moving into a unit okay, got
from a house. But it was so funny because I'm
trying and Olivia and my partner's trying to be super
supportive and then at some point he just appears and
I said, what are you doing? He goes, I'm just
going to move my car.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
You were firing.
Speaker 6 (02:34):
Yeah, So I just I know any satisfaction out of it?
Speaker 3 (02:37):
No, did you consider headphones on and getting zen and
just having your moment.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Because I was concentrating too much and where the grass
was cut. It wasn't mean it's not hard.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
It is hard.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
You want to look where you're just modack waring and
you meant to go like one wheel over so like
on the.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
I that's just why I like to make.
Speaker 6 (03:00):
Because I don't want to.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
I don't want to.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
You never want to have to go back and get
a strip.
Speaker 6 (03:04):
Yeah better, but did not look at your lawn?
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Now goes next to my life.
Speaker 6 (03:09):
I want to beat that guy. I want to beat
that person.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
No, I don't like people's lawns. I don't care. I
just want it to be which is now you need
a good lawn. But but I am aware that at
my age, it's pretty disgusting that I've never knowed a lawn.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
It is crazy.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
That's the first. I am fourth generation single mum, So
I don't remember my mum ever mowing a lawn, which
is not an excuse at all. But I'm just saying
that other people.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Sounds a bit like an excuse.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
But yeah, but I'm saying there are lots of very
capable of single mothers who made their lawns all the time. Yeah,
I'm just not one of them.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
Thirteen one o six five have you done something this
year for the very first time, something that you probably
should have done a long time ago.
Speaker 9 (03:52):
Are parented.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah, there you.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Go, Corey, for the first time.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
I love this truth bombs that I've given.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Us six there gave you got something like that thirty one.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Six five.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Now podcast.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
We're talking about things we've done this year for the
first time in our lives. Corey reminded me off here modeling.
Did modeling for the first time?
Speaker 1 (04:18):
You did? You walked a capital.
Speaker 6 (04:20):
Yeah, a good looking thing over there, spark So what
have you done for the first time that you probably
should have done before?
Speaker 3 (04:30):
I meant similar, Yes, Jordan at.
Speaker 10 (04:32):
A Yeah, I put air in my tire.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
I love this. Wow, I love this, Jordan. Why did
you do it? What made made this happen? And how
old are you that you did this?
Speaker 10 (04:47):
I'm twenty six.
Speaker 6 (04:49):
And I just always had someone else do it for me.
Speaker 10 (04:53):
Alo like Poppy American, you fill the tires and it
got to the point where it's like the light has
been on for so long, I'm getting worried.
Speaker 6 (05:03):
Driving your rooms.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
You got sparked.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Do you know Jordan that I actually went found out
how to turn the light off rather than film.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
It's so easy.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Come on, Greg out of Jambrey Heights. What did you
do for the first time? Greg?
Speaker 11 (05:22):
Considering I've had about fourteen flat tires over the years,
I actually managed to change my very first one on
a Friday afternoon a lot two weeks ago.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
So well done.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Yeah, me change the tire.
Speaker 11 (05:35):
Yeah, probably twenty minutes brand new, Yeah, brand new tire,
brand new car, and I didn't know how to jack
it up.
Speaker 8 (05:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (05:44):
So, but no one tells you how expensive replacing a
freaking fall drive tire is and so expensive.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Yeah, that's a side twenty minutes.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Five a race race, Cory, Yeah, you're on.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Now we have somebody who wants to refute one of
the earlier claims. Why that's something, because Robert you said
you've mode for the first time this year, Cory said
he parented Tiagan. Cory's wife is.
Speaker 8 (06:14):
Hello, how are you good?
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Yeah, you've got a problem with one of these comments.
Speaker 10 (06:18):
Yeah, definitely he had not parented today.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
Why I hate the kids for an afternoon?
Speaker 10 (06:25):
No, Corey, packing the kids bags and heading next door
is not.
Speaker 6 (06:30):
That's working smarter, not harder.
Speaker 10 (06:32):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Thanks you, seriously, thank you.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Thank you. That is excellent.
Speaker 6 (06:39):
Hey, don't you start your nine You got nine helpers
over there.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Hey, this is not about me, Corey start. Thank you Tigan,
and we should say Emma, it was Emma who pumped
up her tires for the first time. Nice was who
was the tires because they've scored a two hundred bucks
to spend at Pure Indulgence and you can save thirty
percent off all you and der Dermatal what's that one?
(07:02):
Dermogic dermal logical skincare this week only at Pure Indulgence,
stock up and save for Christmas.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Roding here now with Correos the podcast.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Safe to Say Focus in the studio is not at
its peak because we have puppies in here and policemen
because the Queensland Police Service calendar is coming out with
all the dogs. You've got a puppy on mic right now,
Rob Oh is that fire who you got there as for? Okay, okay, well,
(07:37):
welcome to the studio, gentlemen, Thank you.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
For coming, Thank you very much for having us, really appreciate.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
We've got Senior Stargant Chris McMahon and Senior Sergeant Stuart
Ellison with us, both with puppies. Nine week old German
Shepherd puppies.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
They are just the cutest thing.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah, I think it's safe to say though. We haven't
had guests defecate all over the studio this much since
the Gallagher Brothers in twenty both dump twice.
Speaker 6 (08:05):
Your dogs have done the same, not even start and
these are gorgeous dog but it was are okay, but
the consistency what our run They follow each other.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
I mean, this is they do a very important job,
don't they. I mean that's why we're talking about them.
That's why they've got a calendar.
Speaker 5 (08:22):
One hundred percent. Yeah, thank you, So yeah, we're so excited.
Speaker 12 (08:25):
Obviously, today we are launching the twenty twenty six Queensland
Police Service Dogs Squad Calendar, which is a fundraising event.
So yeah, it features all our amazing working dogs from
throughout the state. Obviously they play such a vital role
in supporting the frontline services out there and obviously ensuring
the community safety.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
And like, once these guys grow up, I've seen some
of the furtherest from the calendar already. I mean they
really are terrifying actually to look at. I mean, they
will put the fear of God in you, aren't they?
These when they get big.
Speaker 12 (08:55):
One hundred percent, So fire and force it are here
today German shepherds and likely to grow up as our
general purpose dogs which are out there tracking and locating offenders,
missing persons, et cetera. Yeh, from breaking end as stolen cars,
those for things.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
And so people can get poor autographs autographs for their calendar.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
One hundred percent.
Speaker 12 (09:16):
So today we are launching We love everyone to come
down at the botanical gardens there in the CBD, anyone
around there if they can come down between twelve and
one o'clock today, we're going to have one of the
stars from the actual calendar there, PD Ebony.
Speaker 5 (09:29):
Yeah, she's there in October.
Speaker 12 (09:31):
She's going to be there doing portographs in person, and
so we love everyone to come down. The calendars are
twenty five dollars each and they're all fundraising her going
to two charities that are really close to our hearts,
which are Blue Paws and Blue Hope.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
And I should say because what's great about this calendar
is not only do you get a gorgeous picture of
these amazing dogs, but you also get a bit of
information about them. So Ebonye, for example, pd Ebony is
a firearms and explosive detection dog and a highly valued
member of the Explosive Ordinance Response Team.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
Wow, for there you go. Now, I know it's chatter,
there's no force.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
I know Force is only nine weeks old, which means
you could potentially change its name. Could you consider calling
it Corioats.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Because I knew I was going tough days and that's Coriots,
the one there that won't shy.
Speaker 5 (10:28):
I'll be harder than gold. Name Arsenal and the force.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
So good, Well, these two go on to be great
police dogs or we're not sure yet.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
This success rate is quite high.
Speaker 12 (10:39):
So normally between eighty and ninety percent of the dogs
they come through the program do graduate. So they've already
started their training now, So from eight weeks old they
train stood over there, he's in charge of the training
and Development center, so he puts the puppies through with
his staff through all their training programs and they sort
of go on course roughly about fifteen months. They do
(11:00):
a twelve to fourteen week course and then graduate from
currently recruit dogs to police dogs and go out and
serve the community.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
And if they don't make it through, like the twenty
percent that don't make it through, do they end up
getting rehoused or what happens.
Speaker 12 (11:12):
With Sometimes there's other agencies that they can be used
for and they'll go to them. Otherwise, Yeah, if suitable,
they'll go to the families.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Yea, how do you not take them all home?
Speaker 4 (11:23):
They're so sweet when.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
You see what they did this morning.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
I've got clues for you as to how you resist
this morning. Yes, so midday today at Botanical Gardens if
you want to get the autographs style or portographs and
and but the calendar's out now just in time for Christmas.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
Absolutely perfect.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Thanks thanks for coming in.
Speaker 5 (11:45):
Appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
Now with Coorios the podcast.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Now there's a talk of more storms on the way
for this afternoon, more storms throughout this week, and so
we thought we should talk to somebody who's very excited
at this time.
Speaker 6 (12:03):
Who wants the storm.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
His name is Tom Is from Higgins Storm Chase and
enjoins us. Now, good Tom, Yeah, I guys, is this
I mean, like in all honesty, despite the destruction and stuff,
and of course you know you're still a human being,
you've got compassion, But is this the most exciting time
of your life?
Speaker 7 (12:21):
It's the most exhausting time in my life. Yeah, really,
it's pretty I mean this storm season has been pretty relentless.
It's been about seven or eight weeks now of non
stop storms, especially on the weekends. I mean, mother nature
doesn't stop, and unfortunately we don't stop with you know,
with mother nature going as hard as years?
Speaker 6 (12:43):
Is there a reason why it's so bad? Like, what's
what's the guy? What's the difference?
Speaker 7 (12:49):
I mean, it's a combination of things that the main one,
I think being that we've had these repetitive favorable systems.
We've got the trusts in the right spot. We've got
the amount of heat and humidity that we need for
these storms to go big. I mean, at the moment
this week, we're pulling you know, stats that you usually
see in February or March in terms of getting the
(13:11):
mid thirties every day, the humidity is revolting. It's just
this favoral environment that keeps coming on repeat. It is
peak storm season, so of course, you know the last
week of November is when we naturally see the biggest
storms on average. Awesome, Okay, but it's more the fact
that I think it's been just ongoing from mid October.
(13:33):
The November one outbreak was phenomenal across southeast Queensland. That
feels like it was four months ago. Now it's been
going NonStop.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
So what's going to happen today? Because we had that
really big one a couple of days ago, there was
some electrical stuff and other people are impacted last night.
Have we got another big one today? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (13:52):
So today's a little bit trickier because we've got all
this cloud this morning that's going to play a little
bit of a role in hindering things. So it wouldn't
shock me if today we saw less daytime storms. But again,
models are going for some more potentially big storms again tonight,
probably similar to last night, but on a more isolated
(14:13):
scale maybe or hopefully okay, to try and give some
people a break at least, and then tomorrow, you know,
it's rinse and repeat, more big storms again. Tomorrow. We
might get a break on Friday.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Now is tomorrow bigger because of the heat Tomorrow it's
like supposed to be thirty seven the top.
Speaker 7 (14:32):
Yeah, And we've also got the system pushing through, so
it's what we call a clearing system or partial clearing system.
One sea system sweeps through, they try and give us
one big final show, right, Okay, I'm kind of saying
partial because you know, Friday is looking a little bit quieter,
but then we do get another round on Saturday and Sunday. Right,
(14:55):
it's a bit of a temporary clear out.
Speaker 6 (14:57):
Now, Like so you know, storms, rain, hail, thunderstorms, lightning. Now,
the wind is obviously, the wind is the scary part
for a lot of people, for everyone, I believe, like
the damage. Yeah, are we expecting strong wind guys?
Speaker 7 (15:14):
Yeah, these storms again today and tomorrow even into the
weekend are likely going to pack some strong winds. We
could see some damaging to even locally destructive winds once again.
Hopefully those higher end wind damage threats though are on
a more isolated scale. We didn't really see that in
Queens then yesterday there was plenty of wind around, but
(15:35):
the bigger winds were down in New South Wales yesterday
where we had some rouge ripped off homes and stuff
around Tamworth and North Star. But no, we could definitely
see some more big winds around. Hail would definitely be
on the cards again, but again the bigger day seem
to be Thursday and Saturday at this stage for those
(15:56):
big threats. And today is hopefully just a bit of
a hopefully a bit of a team new version of yesterday.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
And what's the scope on Saturday? What's the like are
we talking Sunshine Coast all the way down to bar
and like how big is this?
Speaker 7 (16:08):
Sell bigger? It's that the risk area could be extending
from like North Queensland down South Wales.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Well region sort of thing that's not going to be.
Speaker 7 (16:19):
I mean today we've just posted on our Facebook page
that there's a massive storm going through towns all right
now today's looking like it's going from Weeper down into Widney.
But they're quite expansive systems. Southeast Queensland seems to be
really copying it at the moment, but the entire scope
(16:40):
of these systems is quite large.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
You legit sound exhausted, Tops and for all the work
you do it here because we appreciate you, Thanks mate.
Speaker 7 (16:49):
No worries, thank you.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
That is rowing Now with Glorias Podcast.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
We're doing this confession for cash nice and early, because
this is definitely not one for kids.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
No, this could go.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
In our sort of naughty six forty kind of era.
Because we've met Lean before. She was our naughty nana
and she told this.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
I uploaded an adult video to my daughter's Google account
instead of mine.
Speaker 6 (17:18):
How adulty was this video?
Speaker 8 (17:20):
Not a single thumbnail? Is anyone wearing any clothes? Oh my?
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Oh so not just you, not just me?
Speaker 8 (17:27):
No, I had done three other convanions.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
So there's the baseline.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
Yeah, that's where we started.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
And Leanne has a news story give me.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
With Robin Kipped and Coyotes.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
This is Confessions for Cash.
Speaker 8 (17:48):
Hi, how are you today?
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Excellent?
Speaker 1 (17:51):
You're a naughty granny.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
So you've got a new story to get off your chest.
What can you tell us, Leanne?
Speaker 8 (17:58):
Well, last year, at the start of my journey, I
was having a day that I was feeling very into
myself and I had to and go to the Department
of Transport Main Roads. So I'm there Joe Bookesh and
you know, slacks and a blouse, but I'm going commando
because I'm trying out a new massage therapy toy. And
I'm lined up, you know that big reception desk. I'm
(18:19):
standing there surrounded by people going about their business. And
what happens to next is, oh, it's so embarrassing. I
cough and as I do, so I'm not sure what
actually happened gravity veskolskoity the cough itself, but the message
therapy toy starts to slide out, and I feel it
on the back of my side, but I'm kind of oblivious.
(18:42):
Maybe it's as maybe it's an insect. So I've got
my arm up covering my cough, and I whack up
my leg with my left thigh and attitude it's turned on.
Speaker 10 (18:52):
So it's vibrating visual probably you know, a slug at
a techno diet, just.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
Because at first I didn't hear the word probably, But
you said you coughed, so as you coughed, this thing
can project a fight out out of you. And now
it's vibrating inside your pants.
Speaker 10 (19:14):
Yes, And I lapped at my pants, raising you know,
your leg as you do, and add it shoot and
so it's now on the floor from everyone.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
How big was it?
Speaker 10 (19:26):
Leanne look about the size of your hand?
Speaker 8 (19:30):
What that is?
Speaker 11 (19:32):
Why?
Speaker 8 (19:32):
But you know, okay, I mean it's vibrating cold.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
We just how were you functioning as a human?
Speaker 4 (19:42):
Are you called?
Speaker 8 (19:46):
This is like I said, this is early stages, so
I'm still learning boundaries.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
And were you thinking to yourself? Did you cross about?
Were you thinking yourself. Listen. I know, and when I
go in and doom my reggio, it's going to take
It's going to take ages. So I'm going to just
do something so that I'm not bored.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
You are like the funnest human. Okay, we're now in
this scenario where it's dislodged. You're in an inappropriate place
for that sort of thing. What did you do?
Speaker 10 (20:25):
Well, it's bouncing and it's kind of vibrating, and as
it does that, it switches on its ali D light,
so now everyone cannot only see it.
Speaker 8 (20:36):
Where is it now on the floor in front of me?
Speaker 3 (20:43):
And say that?
Speaker 10 (20:47):
I was hesitant to pick it up because I know
where it's.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Being Julian, what did you do?
Speaker 10 (21:00):
I picked it up. I shoved it into my handbag
and I set out loud as possibly I could. Oh,
that must have got tangled up in the dryer. And
I just went back in.
Speaker 6 (21:11):
So I didn't get into the front.
Speaker 8 (21:12):
Yes, they got me front, I did, and my number
was called within ten men, what a way.
Speaker 5 (21:20):
To get through that?
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Hey, I have to use a sex toy to get
us through the boring?
Speaker 4 (21:25):
Why so bed?
Speaker 12 (21:28):
So?
Speaker 8 (21:29):
Yeah, that's me, guys.
Speaker 7 (21:30):
It's well done.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
Calling ticket number sixty nine.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Seriously, I didn't think you topped the fact that you
shared a video of you with three other people on
your children and Grandchildren's Chat, But no, you've eaten that.
So another five hundred dollars for you, my love.
Speaker 8 (21:54):
Wait, thank you very much, Thank you for listening to
part of my journey and as always, just be the
magnificent souls you are.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
Amen. Thank you.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
Now with corya podcast.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Selling Sunset is on the.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
You can't mention Selling Sunset without playing some music like this,
because that's their whole gig, at nauseum through the show,
every time they walk into a house.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
If you haven't seen it, it started as a really
great idea of a real estate show where you get
to see the mansions of la and Hollywood and these
particular real estate agents who try and sell them. And
if you look at series one, and I really do
challenge you to go back and do that, because then
you look at the outfits, you look at the it's
a completely different show.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
The facial structure, the facial wrinkles.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
Yes, before they had all the work done, everyone looks
like a normal person. And they do actually show you
through the houses. That's where they suckered me in. Yeah,
because all of a sudden you're there, now get and
now it's all their angles, it's all their good sides,
bad sides and talking about their life.
Speaker 6 (23:02):
And I went, well, this is not what I'm I.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Asked her to watch it because you haven't watched any
and yeah, how long did you get into?
Speaker 6 (23:09):
Fifteen minutes?
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Fifteen minutes you made it?
Speaker 6 (23:11):
And I written, almost threw something at my TV.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
This is not right.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
I love it. It's my guilty pleasure. It's like it's
like what I have on when I just want to
be mindless. And this is absolutely it is.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
It's very easy to watch.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
But clothes anything, you can be on your phone.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
You don't have to concentrate. No, you don't just look
up for a bit.
Speaker 9 (23:35):
Go yeah.
Speaker 6 (23:37):
Else, background noise, women are complain and are yeah nice.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
After nine series, you know they have to find new
things and not just people fighting women fighting with each other. Yes,
and so there's two things I want to bring to
the table from this series. One is Kroshelle, who is
married to g Flip. Yes, so are the Australian drummer. Yeah,
And we've watched Krashelle go through she dated one of
the real estate owners, like she's been married, like things
(24:05):
of like lots of things have happened.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
I think in real life she's actually their best agent,
like she she does sell properties, and she was the nice,
sort of relatable one for the first few seasons, although
she's getting a bit bitchy now.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
I think, yeah, well lot, I spend too much time there.
But it's interesting because I think they've decided that Krishel's
the one that's going to do all the famous people, right,
And have you got to this yet? Because okay, yeah,
because Delta Gudroom is in this series.
Speaker 13 (24:34):
I'm excited to work with Delta Gudroom today. She is
an icon and Australia's Sweetheart as they call her. And
when she's not judging the Voice of Australia, she is
touring the world singing. But she also needs a landing
pad in La.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
So she needed a comment four million dollar house she
was looking at and I went, wow, how much is
Delta worth? Yes, I guess so much. How you googled.
Speaker 7 (24:59):
Sixty?
Speaker 3 (25:00):
No, no, not that much, ten top ten, sixteen, sixteen.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
So she can afford a four million dollar pad.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
In LA four million US so, but what's that about
six or seven million Australia.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Yeah, putting a lot of money in one place, but
there okay, And the other thing I wanted to draw
your attention to, and you may or may not have
got to this too. Brie is one of the agents
and she is one of Nick Cannon's baby mummas. So
Nick Cannon was the father of Mariah Carey's twins. He
has had twelve children with six different women, and one
(25:32):
of them is with Brie. Well, apparently he's just I
was just giggling him.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
It's bizarre. So and Brie is So she's still with him,
and she's one of the agents, but they're not together.
They're not full time, so he.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Just buys her beautiful handbags and they sleep together occasionally.
It's been recently realized. Nick has recently revealed that he's
been diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder.
Speaker 14 (25:56):
Okay, well you made it official. Next care There was
signs check had some of the symptoms.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
I'm just so curious why these women say yeah, but anyway.
Speaker 5 (26:11):
She seems happy.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
She does.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
You know what, she's one of the most normal people
on the show.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Yeah, she does seem to be the more sort of down.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
How weird is that?
Speaker 6 (26:22):
That's weird?
Speaker 4 (26:23):
One thing? One thing?
Speaker 1 (26:25):
She named her child with Nick Cannon.
Speaker 5 (26:29):
Moments like this with my son Legendary really remind me
of what's a.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
Brind and what's to focus my energy on.
Speaker 5 (26:34):
So I'm really excited about this next step getting through it.
Speaker 6 (26:36):
But legend legend legendary, not legendary legend legendary legendary.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
That name is legendary Love Canon.
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Come is it love Canon card?
Speaker 4 (26:51):
Like I'll showing him I love Cannon?
Speaker 6 (26:54):
Oh, have you met my friend legend Have you met
my friend the legendary Love Canon?
Speaker 8 (27:01):
Off?
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Now you by been very kind to me because we
finish up on Friday, and so that means we won't
be here next to you when my book comes out.
It's been sort of like five tep well probably ten
years in the making, but pre sales are available now.
It's called Flamingo's Aren't Born Pink And you can just
(27:27):
go to my bio on social media if you want
to pre order it. That would be amazing.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
Pre sales are important because they let the printing company
know like how many copies they're going to later, so
then they get excited if there's a lot of presale,
so go and get them.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
Yes, so thank you. And last week you guys wanted
to get a bit more goss about the whole writing
and editing process, so we spoke to my editor a.
Kelly Fagan and Corey. You asked this question.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
When you interviewed the boys and got to speak to them,
I guess hearing their honest answers and heartfelt answers, were
you surprised of how open they were?
Speaker 4 (28:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (28:02):
I was.
Speaker 10 (28:02):
I was really surprised that how open they were. They
each in their own way, are very.
Speaker 8 (28:07):
Like Rob in terms of the eight storytellers.
Speaker 7 (28:11):
They were very, very honest.
Speaker 10 (28:14):
They weren't always easy on her, but let's be real.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
That each one of them has their own thing that
really like was like but I told them that they
had to be really truthful and they took me at
my words.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
Were there any of the boys stories? Kelly went, Okay,
that's too truthful.
Speaker 10 (28:42):
I think all three of them had a nice little
we call it a jab Rob.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
Yeah, they did that thing where they slapped hard and
then patted me on there. So we should perhaps get
one of my sons, Piper, who's the youngest, because he's
probably the most honest in terms of like just talking
like if you yeah, you never get into an argument
(29:09):
with this kid because he will always win.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Is never right party. Of course, So without giving stuff away,
because obviously we want people to buy the book, but
what what story did you have about your mum?
Speaker 9 (29:22):
There's definitely there's definitely a couple of there. We were
kind of prompted with the questions to make sure it
was very truthful and leave not to leave anything on
the table. But I think it's more kind of parental
stuff growing up with maybe some of the stuff that
I gave in the book, like just on the way
(29:43):
that mom had parented. That's truth.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
No, he's in the car guy to work. So I'm
sorry for the quality. But I will say too that
the way this process happened was that I wrote all
and it's about the last ten years of our lives
and you know, just dealing with grief and trauma and
death and raising kids as a single mum blah blah
(30:17):
blah blah. But what happened was that a ghost writer
read my manuscript and then that's why Pipe says there
were questions. So he then interviewed the boys and then
wrote their words.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
So what was happening for you at that moment?
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Yes, he asked very specific questions and said, when this
happened to mum, what did you think? Because that's the
best way to get the most truthful answers. And you
were truthful, weren't you? Pipe e excellent reading their last chapters,
so they finished the book the last words, which for
(30:53):
me is quite unique.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
Hey, Pipes, and what are you thinking of your mum's
work in the garden because we know that she made
the lawn this week for the first time in her
life and has also been shoveling soil, moving cubes of soil.
I mean, are you stunned by this development?
Speaker 9 (31:10):
It shocked at you guys. Did you've seen the video
of her on the weapons send it?
Speaker 3 (31:16):
Can you share that place?
Speaker 8 (31:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (31:19):
I'll boss her out, but it is not to say.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Okay, excellent, yes, honest?
Speaker 9 (31:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (31:25):
And did you laugh too when it all got washed
away in the Rain's the best?
Speaker 3 (31:34):
Thanks, It's Rob Core. It's on Kiss ninety seven three.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
