I'm a bit where we're we're and I'm loving the
lunar eclipse and the blood moon and all that sort
of stuff. But there's an observation from a former US
astronaut who spent one hundred and seventy eight days aboard
the International Space Station. Oh that's a lot from doing that.
He says that we have got everything all wrong, and

(01:03):
I want to read you why.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
He says that, I know Katie Perry came down from
space with a whole new lease online, but she was
there for twelve minutes.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Twelve minutes.

We had to do backup dancing. And you grew, yes,
as a person, as a human, a shrink, you grew
as a broadcast.

a couple of weeks time kiss ninety seven, three turns

a birthday without a party.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
No, you can't. And yeah it was a while ago,
but you said this. Have you ever been to a
kid's birthday party? Have you ever put your hand up
as a parent and said, old, do this one?

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (02:11):
Not a man? Well I didn't get the invite.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
That's only because you don't answer.

Speaker 7 (02:18):
Your emails, Jesus, and that said yes, I'll be like,
I've got to check me calendar.

Speaker 3 (02:27):

the biggest kids party Brisbane has ever seen.

Speaker 4 (02:55):

meant me as in.

Speaker 8 (03:53):
You Oh no, no.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
Remember until death do us part, Tagan.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
This is our assignment is for Corey as a matter
of as growth as a human, for him to grow,
and he needs to organize this all by himself.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Right, Okay, so you're not allowed to help him?

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Okay, Well, can I just give you a red hot tip. Yeah,
it probably will involve a little thing, a little bit more.

Speaker 8 (04:20):
Than just picking up a bunch of balloons from spotlight.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
You're gonna have to do more than that Cory that
was on my list, but that you did nail that
for Monty.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
And he's done nothing else. Tag him ever, Yeah, yeah,
you usually.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
Do the alcohol.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
The kid's party is good to stick to what I'm
good at.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
What about what about baking cakes and stuff like that?

Speaker 9 (04:46):
Oh no, no, we might outsource that.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Okay, So Tigs the Royal, we must now stop. Okay,
you cannot help him. Why you can't and you can't
do it behind the scene.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
We can send you this.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
You've got audio evidence to show that you're not allowed,
and we are completely absolving you of any any any
anything you need to do.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Yeah, you need to do a thing.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Nothing is your responsibility.

Speaker 6 (05:17):
Because I'm organizing this and is it coming?

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (05:20):
Unlucky?

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Oh yeah, and bring the kids takest.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah okay, okay, well thank you. TIGS will help you.
If anyone's got some birthday hacks, Yes, about organizing parties?

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Now is the time? Yeah, be about to slap one together.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
All I know is I've organized one thing already was
that the entertainer and the clown? What clown.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
He's pointing at us? Thirteen one oh six. Five, We've
got galactic do vouchers to give away if you can
give a really helpful birthday party organizing hack.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Yeah, if you've got someone. If you're perhaps you're useless
at organizing things, I'm looking.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
At you, Corey.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
If you're useless at organizing things, but you managed to
slap one together.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
How did you do it? Thirty one oh six.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Fine, Now with the podcast, Corey is been tasked with
organizing our twenty fifth birthday.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Yeah, it's coming up in a few weeks. And we
have learnt over the last couple of months that not
only has he never organized a party, he's never actually been.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
To a kid's birthday. And just taking your own kids
solo to a birthday party.

Speaker 7 (06:24):
Well not sola, but then I just go to suit
with little dads and we.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Just yeah, like hepplicates all responsibility to everyone else, So
all the dads do to hundreds of kids. We want
to create Brisbane's biggest kid's birthday party. Yes, and so
you've got to do that. And we figured you might
need a little bit of help with some hacks from
people who are good at it.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yeah, Raquel out of ken Moore Hills, what's your hack.

Speaker 9 (06:51):
I've had a couple of NERF war parties. So you've
got thirty NERF four guns and a thousand bullets, and
I didn't see them. I had party plans like games.
No one wanted any help to anything, right, I just.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Took were they all boys?

Speaker 9 (07:10):
Is a twin So there was a couple of girls,
but mostly it's fifteen twenty boys. And they just came
back about two hours later for some food.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
Tell you what those ner w those new NERF guns,
they got some power behind.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Yeah, that's good.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
That's good idea. Matthew of Eden's Landing, what's your hat?
Birthday party?

Speaker 8 (07:31):
Tell you what? The best way you can do it
is use catchy Pete to plant it all for you.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Hi?

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
That didn't out to do that?

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Have you tried it?

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Mat?

Speaker 8 (07:41):
Absolutely? I did it for my three year old grandson's
birthday party and it was just brilliant, step by step
what to do so many days out couldn't go wrong?

Speaker 6 (07:50):
Right, I've done.

Speaker 7 (07:51):
I got a ring and oranie stuff.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
It's going to give you.

Speaker 7 (07:57):
Yeah, that's been in the party planet something Melissa of
Reception Bay and I believe is it?

Speaker 6 (08:01):
Mackenzie too have on the fte Yes? Oho? Are you
help me? Mackenzie?

Speaker 10 (08:08):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (08:09):
What do you reckon?

Speaker 10 (08:10):
I reckon I can run a birthday party better than you,
but I've got some kits.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
Well, it wouldn't be it wouldn't be, Hardie.

Speaker 10 (08:21):
I reckon you should have jumping castles, write a list,
make posters and advertise.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
It hanging out.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Write a list, Hey, write a list, Corey? Yeah, start now,
jumping castle posters.

Speaker 6 (08:36):
You do the posters. Mackenzie.

Speaker 10 (08:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
What about party bags? Have you got any ideas about that?

Speaker 10 (08:45):
Party bags are definitely what are you put in them?
Anti balls and slinkys?

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Do you know what?

Speaker 1 (08:54):
McKenzie? Maybe you need to like put your ideal party
bag together, or maybe create a great list and we
could get you to come in and talk Corey through
it step by step.

Speaker 10 (09:05):
Okay, yeah, yep, so I can do.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
That because you sound like like you know a whole
lot more than he does.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
What are you charging out?

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Absolutely?

Speaker 10 (09:18):
Afray?

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Like that will work. We'll work for SLINKYSA I love it.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
It sounds like you got to see look already someone's
reached out and felt pity on you.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
I'll do it all.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
Some even an eight year old girl has gone I've
got this.

Speaker 6 (09:35):
I know it just happens.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Look, our people will talk to McKenzie's mom Melissa. Yes,
and at least we might be able to get some
things rolling for you.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Now with Correos podcast.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
Justin Bieber Daisies, It's Robin and Kip Now with Coreo.
It's on Kiss ninety seven three eight thirty six. And
tragedy in Sydney over the weekend at d Hye Beach.
We're a husband father and by the sound of things,
top bloke by the name of Mercury was taken by
a great white and we're lucky enough to talk to
one of his great friends.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Toby joins us.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Now, Toby High, good morning, right you lost your best friend.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
Yeah, look, a surfing mate for forty years. We've grown
up together, surfing together, competing together, sharing great moments, great joys,
great sadness. But yeah, unfortunately, a great mate, a great
part of our community here at Day and Long Reef

(10:38):
has died doing what he absolutely loved to do. That's
the solace were sort of taking out of thinks here
this morning.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Yeah. So Mercury was a daily server. He loved getting
out there.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
And every day.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Yeah, and so.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
What we call a surf roffer.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Yeah, yeah, and so there were sightings of a great
white fairly recently, like within the last couple of days.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
Look, the marine activity has been heightened the last couple
of months, so this hasn't been an anomaly that it's
just in the last couple of days. The last week,
we've had a lot of rainfall, which typically when there's
a lot of rainfall, all that water coming out into
the ocean creates a lot more activity. We've got some

(11:20):
warmer currents at the moment as well. So yeah, some
unusual conditions. And if you look at our rainfall over
that August peers same as it was since nine thirty
four when the last shark attack was So whether there's
any synergies in that ethological system or not, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (11:37):
I also read that he warned everyone, didn't he Indeed.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
As surfers, we're kind of innately aware of our environment.
We're out there, you know, the energy and reverberations. I've
felt it hundreds of times in the surfers. Every surfer
or ocean go I have, and he felt that reverberation
and then saw the shark, and his first instinct was

(12:02):
to alert the other surfers and his mates in the
lineup and try and corral them in as a group
to represent a large to objects and get back to
shore safely.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Right, So that was the plan. Everyone's everyone stick together.
The shark might think we're too big, but he was
right at the back.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
Is that right, Yeah, he was the last of the five.
And then in those moments from him corralling everyone else
in the boys turning around and seeing him disappear underwater,
the splashing, and then to bring the rest of mirth
back to shore was traumatic. I've spoken to a few

(12:42):
of the family this morning. As a board riding club
down here at day, we've set up some counseling which
will run through not only the club but the people
that are involved and start the healing process and try
and understand this terrible accident.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
You're obviously someone who loves surfing yourself, but how do
you cope with the fear of ever going back out
there again.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
Well, look, it's our pleasure, it's our pain. You know.
The ocean can be lots of things. It's nice and
passive and calm. Today it can be fifteen to twenty
foot as we saw a month ago when Tommy Meyers
captured the world attention surfing two kilometers out there, just
down the road at Queenscliff and the boys out surfing
the Bomby, and you know, so many other things that

(13:30):
your mind goes to where people are a lot more
subject to encounters with marine life, and to have it
so close to shore, there's just, I guess some solace.
I mean, one of the boys said, you know, he's
taken the one in one hundred million bullet for us,
like your chances of this happening are just supremely rare.

(13:51):
And I just encourage everyone in the oceans and the
beach is not a dangerous place. We're going to get
back out there as soon as we can. For ourselves,
for our community. The ocean's a great elixir of life.
We washed off our daily stresses and stresses and stresses,
and it's a great mental health first to do to

(14:12):
immerse ourselves in nature and right a few ways and
have that community. So yeah, we've just got to press
on and overcome. There certainly will be some trepidation, Yeah,
and some weird thoughts.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
But Toby, your mate, Your mate died a hero, and
he died doing the thing he loved. And let's remember
him for how we lived, not necessarily how he died.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
And thanks for joining us. I'm really sorry for your
lost Toby. Thank you for joining us.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
Mate, Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Now with podcast, I hope I'm not going to get
into trouble for this, or even get Rappi into trouble
your six year old. So Saturday night was Riverfire and
we were all lucky enough to be invited to the
flight center deck, which is right next to the emporium.
It's such a great space to watch the planes almost
at eye level. Amazing, and you know, they put on

(15:03):
food and drinks and it was really fun. And I know, Corey,
you were next to the emporium, which is similar kind
of view, so you weren't there, so maybe your kids
would have been involved in this. But what unfolded was
they had like huge food and dessert bars and they
had an open bar for drinks. Yes, and so the
kids were getting quite hyper.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Oh yeah, because they had literally a lolly station, so
they kids area.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Yeah, just kids were just grabbing handfuls of chocolate Fonduh.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
They loved it. It was the best. It was really
fun and there's a big dance floor and anyway, so
the kids were getting a bit hyper, and we also
had our boss, Ali and her eight year old Rosie,
and she so Rosie and Raffi were playing together and
they were getting pretty full on, and I said, look,
why didn't I go and take them to get some
water just to kind of calm down. And there were

(15:55):
two servers at the bar, and I said to one
of them, can I grab some water please? Meanwhile, Raffi
had gone to the other server and said he wanted
to sprite right, and got given a sprite, and I'm like,
I'm thinking this is not a good idea. So I'm saying,
I'm saying to Raffie, are you allowed to have that sprite?

(16:15):
And he's going, yeah, there's no problem, Dad, lets me
have it all the time. And so then I'm thinking,
poor Rosie who's eight and trying to do the right thing,
And I'm saying, Rosie, do you are you allowed to
have sprite? She said, I'll just have to go on
ask mum.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Good girl.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
So I'm now thinking I can't walk back with one
kid with a sprite and the other kid with no sprite,
and I'm going to be in trouble regardless.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
So then I said to Raffie, hey, mate, can you
hold these waters for me? Because it's for daddy and
mummy and waala, and I am going to take the sprite.
He gave it, very begrudgingly, not happy to give me
the sprite. And so then we walked back to the
table and I put it down and I said, is

(17:02):
Raffi allowed to have sprite? So tell me what went
on there?

Speaker 4 (17:07):
Well, I already gave him a jue, so I said,
at the start of the night, you're going to have
what do you want?

Speaker 3 (17:11):
So I gave him a juice and that.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
Was it, and that's his sugar limit. Plus I'd watching
Nylon snakes and other chocolates. I knew he was already wild.
It was already lying on his back. At one stage
I saw him through a window because I'd lost sight
of him. I just saw him lying on his back
and then kicking with his legs, just sliding on his
back along the floor like thirty meters, just like he
was a duster. So he was there was no way

(17:36):
that I would have let him have that sprid.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
But as she was walking back with me, He's like, Dad,
lets me have sprite. Dad lets me have spright. And
I'm like, can we ask Dan? He's going, Oh, don't
need to just dad. Meanwhile, this Rosy had run ahead
and what Alie? What did she? What did she say?
So she came and asked me.

Speaker 4 (17:55):
She said, RAFFI has a sprite and Robin got Raffia spite,
May I please have one?

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Okay, So now you've started a whole a series of issues.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
And I didn't get him with sprite.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
I did not get him right. Trying to calm them down.

Speaker 6 (18:09):
Yes, you're not really, you're not seeing the real thing.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
What's the problem.

Speaker 7 (18:12):
Robin's telling you you need to be more more of
a parent, You need a parent more, well, be home more.

Speaker 6 (18:18):
No, you need to be a better Are you letting
her do this?

Speaker 1 (18:22):
Corey Pally, how much parenting did Kip do on Saturday night?
I saw him talking to a bunch of people for
like easily forty five minutes, and we're like, he has
no idea where his kid is right now.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
It's a very safe area.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
He was having a lot of fun and he's not
allowed to have sprite. And you know he lies to
people about that all the time.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
Who was looking? Someone was looking from now in the morning.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
Wasn't my mom and dadds my thing? Was my sister
And she said, Rabi said that you let him have
chocolate first thing in the morning.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Well, I you know, I'm like pleasing your sister. I'm like,
I just I don't want to be the bad guy here,
but I also don't want to be responsible for this
kid having him high pay.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
It's convincing. Hey, look you're right in the eye. Oh no,
I'm allowed to have chocolate. Oh yeah, yes, that's his Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Well so much so that Rosie said that i'd given him.

Speaker 6 (19:14):
The sp He's going to be good at this girl.
Oh yeah, dog ate me home.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
It's good to be great.

Speaker 6 (19:21):
Did it?

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Did so?

Speaker 1 (19:23):
Did I do the right thing?

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Well?

Speaker 4 (19:25):
No, yeah, I guess you brought it back. Yeah, and
you put it on the table. But it should have
been just that. Nah, you know you're not having spy.
You could have just read his eyes that were darting
around like a crazy per just no chance, no chance,
And you haven't sprite.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Look at you, you're a mania yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
But I've also seen you like that and you do
that without side.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
That's true.

Speaker 6 (19:47):
Yeah, awaken only kip all night.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Which he did, didn't get but he didn't sleep till
after ten.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
On that note, maybe if you parented him a little
bit more put on me you sprite should next door right.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
Next door to your job.

Speaker 6 (20:04):
Neighbors had a room there, a couple of rooms.

Speaker 7 (20:06):
Yeah, but had him jumping off the off the table,
off the top, buck on the bed.

Speaker 6 (20:13):
He was mental. But yeah, it's gone nine.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
Yeah, and then you wake up Sunday morning and then
he'll hope your dad and we make the day special.

Speaker 6 (20:24):
Don't annoy me.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Here now with Gios the podcast.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Halfway through the podcast.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
Okay, there is a former US astronaut by the name
of Ron Garren, and he spent one hundred and seventy
eight days aboard the International Space Station and he came
back with a powerful realization. We're living a lie from space.
This is what he said. Earth looks united, one glowing
blue sphere with no borders, no divisions, just one fragile

(20:56):
home floating in the darkness. Yet down here we live
as if we are separate, divided by politics, nations, and conflicts.
From orbit, he saw the fragile atmosphere, a thin blue
veil protecting life, lightning storms flashing like strobe lights, and
auroras dancing across the poles. That perspective changed everything for him.

(21:18):
He now argues her humanity has its priorities upside down.
We put the economy first when it should be planet
society economy. His message is clear, Earth is our shared spaceship,
and every one of us his crew, not passengers. Humanity's

(21:40):
survival depends on recognizing that what divides us on the
ground is invisible from space.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
What divides us on the ground as invisible from space.
So like, yeah, the borders that.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
With religion, politics, color, skin, color, creed, belief systems, Trump
for his skin.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
Yes, that's that's interesting. It's so it's so obvious that
like that when you look after the planet, right, But and.

Speaker 4 (22:11):
Yet it's a busy fighting, fighting, and also just a greed,
greed for to try and make more money and be
the dominant country on Earth as well as like you know,
like because the thing is, you know, we'll recycling and stuff,
but until China gives u stuff, like what, it's a
waste of time. But that's the excuse always Yeah, I know,
but I'm not saying we don't do it, but I'm

(22:33):
just saying it is a waste of time if they
until there's a major shift in that that mindset over
there of like we've got to grow and we've got
to make more money.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
So imagine if the rest of the globe and all
the countries decided that they would become self sufficient, that
everyone would have market gardens, that they would try and
be as sustainable as they could be, that their footprints
went down to zip, not just because the government said it,
but because each individual took responsibility and we stopped buying
Timu and we stopped, like we literally stopped what we're

(23:06):
trying to do.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
Yeah, well if we stopped, if we pretty much everything
you buy it came out and all those places all
made in China. So if we stopped buying it all
and just went.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
To much less complicated, less stuff life and.

Speaker 7 (23:21):
Have to follow suit, all have made down the road
like China does when they live there.

Speaker 6 (23:26):
Yes, all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
But it would kind of take that.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
It would actually yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
And every individual to go I care about the planet,
climate change and all of that is not a conspiracy
theory we are living in a planet that we are
hurting more than we're helping.

Speaker 7 (23:43):
Yeah, I'm a big believer in that.

Speaker 6 (23:47):
We've got it wrong.

Speaker 7 (23:48):
Like we say we care about the planet, but we're
so fixated on fighting each other and who's the biggest,
who's the big dog, and who's doing this and that,
but we forget that once that thing is done, like
once where we live is done, we're done.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
There's no plan.

Speaker 7 (24:04):
But and it's getting worse and quicker, like there's proof
of that, you know.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Yeah, if Mars was a country, no one would move
there because it sounds like it's an option.

Speaker 7 (24:16):
But they keep saying a chance, And I believe it's
starting that more and more now, which worries me more
and more, which means.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
It's our kids, and it's happening faster than they thought.

Speaker 7 (24:25):
It just seems like that because Mars they say, oh,
you have a chance to live in there soon.

Speaker 6 (24:30):
No, I not know.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
And even if we could, it doesn't look like it
be like moving to the middle of the desert and
live in spaces.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
Going to move to the middle of the desert, but
living with spaces with space suits.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
And the only fun thing about that would be.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Matt Damon being up there this.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Pool farting, but sure from the.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Make you laugh from the bad guys. That's right, laugh
yourself and then die. A funny way to go out.

Speaker 6 (25:05):
Thank you, Helmov.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
I could either breathe in no atmosphere. Thank you.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
Now with Coorios the podcast, I saw you and your
partner on Saturday night Robert at Riverfire and Olivier was
very excited to talk about the Tesla.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
Yes, as you suggested, he.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Has been just getting more and more animated about this car,
and I was teasing him because that is all he
talks about. And also he watches like literally hundreds of
YouTube videos about this particular car. Now he's bought the
y yep want a new version or something.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
Just outside the top ten in Australia. Ah yeah, Well.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
It's interesting because you pick it up at Pink and Bar.
You get an allocated time to go out there, and
they have someone who comes and shows you all the
features of the car. And I did not realize how
much of a spaceship this thing is, like it is crazy,
And they said mostly they sell about twenty three a day.
Last Saturday, it was forty five people came to pick

(26:16):
up their cars.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
There's a new y which is they look good.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
So there are some features because you drive a Tesla,
it's not a wy no name.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
He's got a WI she's got the old one, so
it's two or three years old, now get it.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
But there are some features in this new one that
I wonder if they're a Tesla or if they're just
this new version. Okay, to start with, you like where's
the engine? And the front has this like alcove which
they said you can.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Use as an ESKIEI fronk. Yeah, And so like when
we travel to Malula Bar.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
Or whatever, you can put your bag of essential stuff,
bags of essential stuff in there and then you can
load up the other stiff with boogie boards and stuff
at the back, so you need to put it before
it over.

Speaker 3 (27:03):
You've got the baby bag and stuff all in the front.

Speaker 6 (27:05):
Is that eski?

Speaker 3 (27:06):
But yeah, there's also right, yeah, so a towel.

Speaker 6 (27:09):
Gamely even have a bonnet.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
But yeah, where's the engine But they're on the wheels.
They're just motive. There's a motor on the wheels.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Great. The other thing is the color. So inside these
like led lights that go all the way around the
car and you get. Everything's on the app. So if
your phone goes dead, good luck. The car open.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
We don't use the key, you just have you have
the app and then it recognizes your phone when you
walk by and it opens and then when you.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
Walk away locks as you walk off.

Speaker 6 (27:41):
What.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Yes, it's incredible.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Yeah, with your phone, that's it.

Speaker 6 (27:47):
Yes, wow, I know it's like.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
A space car. Does Naomi's have the color which you
can then change on the color wheel.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
I don't think so, No, we can't change the colors.
I haven't tried.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
Olivia was saying, well, if I'm cranky, you'll know because
I'll be red in the red, you know, if I'm
living my best blue life.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
Fun.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Oh, it's so fun.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
So being in the enterprise.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Yes, that's exactly what. It's battle stations, the final thing.
And I recorded this yesterday, so I need you to understand.
We are standing outside my house and he has got
his phone and we walk up to the car and
this is what happens. How are you doing this? Beast
of a thing?

Speaker 3 (28:28):
I make it fat.

Speaker 6 (28:30):
That's a little one. I can make a bigger one.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Big one. People all past you know how I knew that.
So we were walking to river Fire, and we stopped
off at Last Man Standing to have a beer, and
I decided that I was cold and I needed to
go home, and I don't live too far away from there.
I needed to go and put some jeans on. So

(28:55):
he's watching me. All the cameras on the car, the
cameras on the car, and as I walked past the car,
he's a kilometer away the car.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
I don't know if ours does the outside ones, but
I know that raff gets into the settings all the
time because you know, they're made for kids basically, these
cars and adults with kids child like minds like living. Yeah,
so we'll be driving and then all of a sudden
you go to indicate left.

Speaker 6 (29:23):
And it just goes.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
You can really indicator into far.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
That could be so much.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Okay, it's a regular feature. You want your cardiff.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
That's it?

Speaker 6 (29:39):
Next time?

Speaker 4 (29:40):
I mean, how is it not in the top ten?
Can you get if your car doesn't fast?

Speaker 3 (29:44):
Are you driving? Is that life?

Speaker 2 (29:48):
I want to use this?

Speaker 1 (29:50):
It is such a crazy beast.

Speaker 6 (29:53):
This would be fun.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
You don't need to car imagine hearts. Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Three kid Now with Corey podcast.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
For a few short years away from the Olympics.

Speaker 6 (30:10):
It seems it's getting close to which it is every day.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yeah, I was at the Murray bike Track over the weekend.
I know that that.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
Look it's ready, safe, it's ready, it's safe, it's good
to go.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
What's happening on there? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
There'd be something walking.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
Venue'sok a one k track and so I guess they'll
be doing some type of bike thing there.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
I don't know what type of bike race. Obviously it
won't be the road race.

Speaker 6 (30:34):
One thing is it's already built.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
It's ready to go excellent.

Speaker 6 (30:36):
Yeah, we haven't got away by that right now.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
It's mostly just kids on scooters.

Speaker 6 (30:39):
Yeah, it's ready.

Speaker 7 (30:41):
But this other venue is already built also, Okay, thank
heavens for that.

Speaker 6 (30:46):
But it's in Rockhampton.

Speaker 7 (30:50):
Yeah, and I don't know if everyone knows, but the
rolling is there, isn't it?

Speaker 8 (30:54):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (30:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (30:55):
What's the river called Fitzroy the Fitzroy Troy River.

Speaker 6 (30:58):
It's well known for its fishing and flooding and crocodiles.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
And crocodiles are the crocs there?

Speaker 6 (31:04):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (31:05):
And really you can see a croc if you're like
hanging out on that and the main.

Speaker 7 (31:10):
A lot and then that's why there's always speculations about
is there, isn't there?

Speaker 6 (31:15):
And I went home. It was just for a FOG's dinner.
Yeah and great.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
So Rockhampton used to be your where you went to school.

Speaker 7 (31:25):
And stuff went to went to school in your poon
just used drive through Rocky home. Well I went, I
went back that way in the home and yeah, a
lot of family friends are there.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
Where do you stay at Rocky is it? Is it
motels there?

Speaker 7 (31:38):
Well, got river views ocean front nice, but it connects
to the ocean right fair way way down there, so
there's a nice hotels to be honest.

Speaker 6 (31:50):
But yeah, and we will standing around the river.

Speaker 7 (31:54):
I believe there's it's a little bit of me give
an update on.

Speaker 6 (31:58):
On the river.

Speaker 7 (31:59):
It is Olympic rowing, then the Olympians should be so
so excited.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Like what's the brown level compared to brisbe brown? And
that even brown?

Speaker 6 (32:13):
It is brown. It's like you can't you can't get
a photo where it done. It doesn't look brown. There's
no blue, no time of day, no blue.

Speaker 7 (32:22):
Okay, And a lot of family friends had obviously been
around the area for a long time and I was
talking to one of them. I was going to record him.
But it's very country. You wouldn't really understand a word
he was saying, but I could.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (32:35):
And there's actually been sightings of a four and a
half meter.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
Crock, a four and a half meter in the last.

Speaker 7 (32:42):
Few yeah, six months, and apparently they believe they've seen
two of them, two big crocs four and a half
five meters crocs.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
What were they doing?

Speaker 6 (32:55):
One of them had found a feed.

Speaker 7 (32:59):
A not a not a human, but is a little
animal friend?

Speaker 3 (33:03):
Is it a friend of a human?

Speaker 9 (33:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (33:04):
It was a best friend man's best friend, unfortunately. But yes,
there has been a few sightings a five cross five
meter crock.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
And they're talking about putting rowing and with that impact.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Like I mean, would a krop go in and try
and chump on a row boot?

Speaker 3 (33:20):
Wow?

Speaker 6 (33:21):
Why wouldn't they?

Speaker 8 (33:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (33:22):
Or they yeah? And when they remember, you know, they
throw the cocks in the in the water. That's a
terrifying sacrifice.

Speaker 7 (33:30):
And I looked up there and the average bit of
a crocs thirty k.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Thirty k is an hour they're traveling.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
That's Fastow what's the average speed of a rower?

Speaker 3 (33:39):
How fast the boats go?

Speaker 6 (33:41):
I believe it's not as quick?

Speaker 1 (33:44):
How fast.

Speaker 7 (33:45):
He's a little bit less. And what I can find,
they need to find a few. If it's what I'm saying,
is what I am reading right now. The experienced levels thirty.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
K thirteen K is an hour experience.

Speaker 6 (34:01):
To elite thirty K an hour. You need to find
a couple.

Speaker 4 (34:05):
I'm just saying, you're a thirty K an hour croc
coming at you.

Speaker 6 (34:08):
I reckon, there's going to be a lot of pvs
rock hamp.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Although the thing I can imagine is that you know
New Zealand and Australia and Germany or whoever the other
great rowing nations and then there.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
That's terrifying.

Speaker 7 (34:26):
And he actually made a joke, the guy, the family
friend of mine, He's like, they should all put crockheads
on the end of the on the end of there,
like a new resort like the Egyptian gods.

Speaker 6 (34:36):
Is what happened.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
It was coming up.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Rowing now with.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
Raphael, my six year old. He got me a wonderful
hang on. I promised him that I would wear his
gift today.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
And it's a work bag which is also decorated.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
Yes, he got me a tie. This is a type
me to wear at work.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
It's okay, So it's made of cardboard and it's got
blue glitter and lots of text to colors which he's
colored in himself. And he's put a little piece of
ribbon or string around it so that dad gets to
wear it because.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
He knows that I wear a tiple work.

Speaker 7 (35:17):
So you tell him that he never seas in the morning.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 6 (35:22):
My dad goes in a nice suit.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Yep. And every time I touch it, just glitter goes everywhere.
So it's all over the place.

Speaker 6 (35:30):
Now, that's nice.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
So he got me this, and I.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
Got a travel coffee cup very good. Actually that's hard
the one, Yeah, like one for bringing into work.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Did he buy that at the Father's day store?

Speaker 3 (35:42):
He did?

Speaker 6 (35:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (35:43):
Yeah, he did well on a block of chocolate again,
that's fat, that's definitely, that's thin.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
And I've got one of these. Who is my Who
is my dad? Yes? So my dad's name is Kip.
My dad is maybe ninety nine years old. He's worse
than last year.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
My dad works, he plays songs and dancers. Yeah, he
does the best food. He makes a stir fry. He
likes to eat steak, he likes to drink wine.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
We like to kick the footy together. Love that my
dad makes me laugh when he tells me jokes.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
I love my dad because he works and makes drone
videos and fixes motorbikes.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
All of those things. I can kick you to give
you a gift.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
Yes, this is one. Yeah, not really fair. Some nice
cuddles in. Yes, And what did you you got to cut?

Speaker 1 (36:43):
I got a card? Yes, so we had a barbecue
yesterday and says Happy Father's Day, mum. Although you are
not our dad, obviously, that's what it says. We wanted
to write this card and let you know that we
are so grateful for everything you have done for us
over the years. Isn't that sweet to cry?

Speaker 3 (37:01):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
I'm not. You have done such an amazing job doing
both roles for us. We hope you. We love you
very much and cannot be more appreciative and grateful. Love
in Lauren and Pipers done, boys, And I got I
got some rocky road which is kind of my favorite.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
That's good.

Speaker 6 (37:20):
Tell me not cry. You squeeze your toes, by the way.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
Yeah, or you're supposed to put your tongue at your
mouth when.

Speaker 4 (37:27):
You're talking, but you came in wearing the house his
hat that Hucks gave you, which is a white hat
with like highlighted drawing all over it and number one Dad,
would you call that drawing?

Speaker 5 (37:39):
Well?

Speaker 3 (37:40):
It scrible?

Speaker 6 (37:43):
Wore this Eviden Park Hotel?

Speaker 4 (37:46):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (37:48):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (37:50):
And then Monty, you know, did all about my dad.
My dad's name was Cory. My dad makes me laugh
when he tickles me. My dad wishes he had a caravan.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
That's true, very true.

Speaker 7 (38:02):
My dad should get an award for being the best dad.
My dad is unique because he is funny. My dad
loves it when I am happy. My dad's favorite thing
to do is.

Speaker 6 (38:11):
Play with me. Yeah, it's really.

Speaker 7 (38:14):
Cute from Monty because to be honest, that's the things
that she loves doing.

Speaker 5 (38:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (38:20):
Just she loves that little bit of play because she
loves playing the doll.

Speaker 6 (38:23):
So like I go and sit in the room, I
don't really play. I just sit there and chat to
her about it.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
Why she's playing?

Speaker 6 (38:28):
Yeah, who's who? What are they doing?

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Where do they sleep?

Speaker 1 (38:30):
And all that.

Speaker 7 (38:31):
But the one thing I was really surprised about was
the actual gift. I never you never wantally get big gifts, right,
and there's big box locked out, you know.

Speaker 6 (38:40):
From Monty, she was so excited. And it turns out
she thought of this.

Speaker 7 (38:45):
She said it Tea, I think Dad needs a new
one of these, and then went Teagan went shopping and
Monty picked it right.

Speaker 6 (38:53):
I actually said this one. Dad loved this one. It's
a watch case for all my watches.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Oh yeah, because you're.

Speaker 6 (39:00):
Watch I love watches. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
Like it's a little display case. Yeah wow.

Speaker 7 (39:05):
And the other one, like the other one, was probably
five years old.

Speaker 6 (39:08):
I think it was one of the It was an
end of ursary gift he got me, but it.

Speaker 7 (39:12):
Was, you know, it was pretty old, fall and apart
and oh it's so nice.

Speaker 6 (39:18):
I had to how much did this costs?

Speaker 1 (39:21):
So nice?

Speaker 6 (39:22):
And she said, yeah, your do's got expensive like a mother.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
No one told her to do that.

Speaker 6 (39:30):
So I said, on them. I said, thank you so much.
She says, I just I know you love your watches
and I thought you.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Need a new UK also tell me you're doing doing
all right? Without telling me you're doing all right?

Speaker 4 (39:45):
Come on, she got a parking place for your jet?

Speaker 6 (39:49):
What else?

Speaker 3 (39:54):
Now?

Speaker 2 (39:54):
With the podcast.

Speaker 4 (39:57):
Father's Day just yesterday, so we want to upgrade some
Dodgy gifts if you've got one that you want to
share with Us thirteen one sixty.

Speaker 1 (40:05):

Speaker 11 (40:09):
Good morning to Hello, please help me out. My husband
had their birthday, so the kids gave them five dollars
to go to the little Father's Day store at the
school and they purchased him a little pack of jelly beach,
both of them, my year one of my year three.
But they ate them all.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
Little buggers.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
Yeah, he's an empty pack of jelly.

Speaker 6 (40:40):
We had something for you, but we ate.

So he just got the crappy old box of shorts
as a gift because on Friday he had hand surgery. Anyway,
he's in desperate need of clippers because we have a bulldog.
He's got a curled tail like.

Speaker 9 (41:16):
A British bulldog.

Speaker 12 (41:17):
And I used his clippers to trim my dog.

Speaker 6 (41:21):
But hair.

Speaker 13 (41:23):
You did the dogs around There is face clippers, right,
clipps is coming.

Speaker 12 (41:36):

Speaker 3 (42:12):
I'm very happy with my gift. Yes, I got my
tie and I got my note, my block of chocolate.

Speaker 6 (42:17):
So you had a good day yeah? Yeah, yeah, watching
the footy and stuff. Yes, great day?

Speaker 3 (42:21):
Yes with Raf?

Speaker 6 (42:22):
Yep? Yeah. What do you do together me and Raf?

Speaker 3 (42:25):
Yeah, we went for a bike ride. Thank you. I
know you're trying to find me out.

Speaker 4 (42:28):
We went to the murraw Ree bike track and we
cut some laps because he.

Speaker 3 (42:31):
Was wild in the afternoon.

Speaker 4 (42:33):
I was like, I'm getting this kid out of this
house and we are exercising.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
So when you're watching the football, what did you say
to him?

Speaker 4 (42:41):
So I missed the second half of the Power game.
