for you to have a shot on a million dollars.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
But it was also Raphael's birthday. My little boy turned six.
Speaker 5 (00:39):
That's so exciting.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
So he got a big boy bike. Yeah, with gears.
Speaker 5 (00:44):
Oh wow, so no no training wheels.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
He's got you proper handbreaks, doesn't even have the foot
break anymore, proper breaks and everything is very excited. Nanny
Pearl got him a entire like motocross suit like armor.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
So when he's riding around that part, if he falls off,
he'll be good.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Yeah, he looks like a storm trooper. He's got that much.
He loves it, absolutely loves it. So we had his party,
and I took one of his mates through the year
had their birthday party, and I absolutely sold their idea,
which was we went straight from school. It was an
after school party. So on Thursday, straight from school to
the park down the road where there's a playground. There's
(01:27):
a little rotunda with the table and stuff, and we
just said the party's there at three point fifteen.
Speaker 5 (01:32):
Oh yeah, there's nothing wrong with the Coles Mudcake mate exactly.
They are the best.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
We just pulled out I've got a couple of those
variety packets of chips with then open you know forty
I think there was about thirty juice.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Boxes and just let them. Let them go wild.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
And they did and they loved it.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
They had such a great time and they were all
They had one of those big swings at the park,
the big round swings, and they had every kid from
the party on that swing. I see why they're load
tested down because that thing was under pressure.
Speaker 5 (02:01):
Did you invite every kid in the class?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yes, well done, Yes we did.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
And apparently that works because then now he will be
invited to everything, because there's that's the deal.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Well, it's a hard imprep you kind of can't. You
can't unless you're going to do like two friends.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Yeah, and he even said like the next day he said, yeah,
someone so was there. I didn't really want to invite him,
but mums had had two so fair enough. M yes,
and so well, the problem with because Rafi's mum and
I no longer together. Is that we had to sort
of organize the party apart. And so we had it
at the park and you bring this she brought she
actually made a cake, and I brought the I brought
(02:36):
the poppers and the chips, and we did have I'm
going to say, four separate kids come up to me
and go.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Hey, where are the party bags? And I was like,
what was that? The party bags?
Speaker 4 (02:51):
You know?
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Yeah, we walk home with.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
Them, you know, that's our way of being able to go, yeah,
we'd been at the party.
Speaker 4 (02:57):
They look at me like I'm a lunatic, Like the
party's over, so where's the bag? Where's the bag with
the present, isn't it? I looked at it, but I
said did you did you get party bags? And she's like, no, no,
did you get party bags?
Speaker 2 (03:08):
No?
Speaker 4 (03:09):
So we forgot the party bag and care no he didn't.
He was that hoped up on sugar by then. He
was fine, couldn't you just go here?
Speaker 5 (03:17):
Open your Actually I did this one year. We had
big We had big, big, big.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Things of lollies and I just was late to kids, Okay,
open your pockets. That's dropped the lollies in because I
didn't want to take them home because I knew what
my three boys would do on those amount of lollies.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
He's getting party pockets and these and these parents are going,
what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (03:38):
I'm like, who's got a pocket full of cake? You're fine,
there's your party bag? What did you forget?
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Thirty one oh six five's out number at a kid's party,
or it could be an adult's party. What did you
forget a vital ingredient like a party bag that you
just thought?
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Oh, I didn't even know that was a thing.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
Someone will forget a present?
Speaker 4 (03:56):
Oh, yeah, for sure. Thirty one oh six five. It's
Robin and Kip now Cory, it's on Kiss ninety seven three.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
Does Rafie not go to parties? I know that's right.
You don't take him?
Speaker 4 (04:05):
No, yeah, I guess he comes back with the home
with the parties, knowing lollies, and I'm always what more?
Speaker 3 (04:11):
You're already wild?
Speaker 5 (04:13):
So did you give? Did you give them anything?
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Nothing? I gave them a farewell, thank you, thank you
all for coming.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
Have you enjoyed my col's cake?
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yes? Mel out of Cannon Hill. What did you forget
at the party?
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Well, I didn't forget anything about my daughter. This is
year one was having an under the sea party and
the cloud was at twelve o'clock and the people were
coming at quarter past. So she wanted to want to
be there on time because once it starts, you know
they're going to miss out. So there was a couple
of kids that notoriously were late for school, late for
birthday parties, late for everything. So she wants to write
(04:47):
it all the invitation. So I wrote it out for
her and she had to copy it. But she made
the time for two kids eleven o'clock instead of.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
Twelve o'clock so they wouldn't be late.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
They wouldn't be late, and they rocked up a quarter
to toilve. So it was very late. Yeah, for the
real for the time that she gave. And they're like, oh,
did we get the wrong day? And they're like, she
said no, but you're always late, So I made it
earlier the year that's brilliant the mom's red space and
I was like, oh my god, you're joking. But anyway,
they were there on time, and must I must say.
(05:17):
But after that it went often very late for anything, because.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
That's incredible.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
Six years old. She'd learned to work the pattern and go, no,
those kids they need they need help.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
Yes, and I do love you trusted and didn't check Mel.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
No, I didn't because she did. She was very organized.
She's now she's very organized young woman. And and yeah,
so she organized everybody on else as well. So yeah,
boss is on around. But yeah, so she did imitation
herself and put in the in the little the blockers
for all the kids and in the whole class and yep,
couple of kids got their.
Speaker 5 (05:53):
Earlier.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Well, thank you for getting involved.
