Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to the Robin and Kid podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Well, you're talking about ways to spice up your sex
life and improve Yes.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Well, a number of our staff was suggesting things like
mowing the lawn with your shirt off, going skinny, dipping
in your pool when your partner's home. Like, these things
were a little out of the ordinary, and so Kip's
response to that, to try and get some special time
because you have a fourteen week or baby at home, yes,
was to send out a calendar invite. Yes, I mean, seriously,

(00:31):
is there anything less sexy than a calendar invite? By
eight thirty on a Wednesday night.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I thought we needed to lock it in. We need
to lock in time and maybe if we had it
in the calendar, So I set a calendar invite. Now,
our production team have put together an intro for this segment.
Apparently I haven't heard this, but let's see set a
regimentioned time that you're going to do it, and then
stick to that time.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
I'll send to a calendar invite, right, calendar will.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Get it, and I will say, what do you get
advice on the calendar?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Thirty six night Sex Night, Sex Night. It was said
sex Night, Kid sent to calendar in but to his
own wife sex night? Was it sex night?

Speaker 3 (01:17):
There's no way this guy got laid last year. Tom's
in my produced.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Tom's in my world as well because he's got a
newborn at home as well, and I think we're both
having quite a drought. Okay at the moment.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
So what happened.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Well, I sent the invite during the show yesterday, which
is it's for tonight. So it was for the night
of October, so tonight, eight twenty five. And it still
has not been responded to.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
It's been remained unread.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
It's yeah, it just says question mark. It just says
it says one invite Naomi, question Mark. So that means
she hasn't responded to it. We just tried to call
her and she just text me to say, I'm putting
center back to bed, leave me alone. Yeah, fair enough.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
So she possibly has been listening to the radio and
thinking the last thing I'm going to do, Siena will
remain going to bed for the whole afternoon and maybe
at eight thirty tonight.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
So it's not happening. But I did inspire somebody because
Craigie sent me a message on Facebook and Craigie out
of Virginia. Who's on the phone.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Now, Craigie, what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Morning? Morning, morning. So I told Kip that I spent
the entire weekend like completely gudging the pantry and cleaning
the kitchen, thinking I was going to get rewarded for
my airfit to basically get shut down on Monday night. Yes,
and so then when I heard him, I was like,
you know what, I'm going to try it his way.
So I sent that invite after I spoke to Kid,

(02:39):
which was like ten o'clock in the morning. I got
a meeting acceptance at like seven thirty at night.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Really, so and so the cole Yes, so that was.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
For last night. So yeah, it totally paid off. Calendar invites. Yeah,
it's part of my repertoire.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Now, I swear, Okay, I'm I'm sure geez. I'd love
to hear the other side of this story.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
We only know, well, there's only two people so far sample,
but so far it's a fifty percent strike rate.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
I reckon. I reckon. The one of two things would
have happened to your wife is either she's like, oh, yeah,
he's done a whole lot across the weekend. I need
to reward him, or you are so irritating and she
just needs to shut this she's down.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
I think it's both.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
It's a little from Coline from Colinbee. All right, well,
I mean maybe maybe we've started. So I'm glad you
had success, Craigie, Okay, well yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Thirty tonight, my friend. I mean I need an update tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Eight twenty five. I still haven't changed the time. I've
got to change the time, I says eight twenty five
to nine twenty five.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
As if it's not eight twenty five twenty six.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
A thirty a thirty seven.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Only twelve minutes.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Okay, mate, if you put a timer on that, twelve
minutes in heaven is better than no minutes in even Robin.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I got, Why is Robin and

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Hair on Brisbane's Kiss ninety seven three

Model Wars

Model Wars

On the surface, the modeling industry in the 80s was about parties and pretty clothes, but underneath the flash, there were drugs, sex, and violence. And Paul Fisher, a former straight-A student from the San Fernando Valley, rose to prominence amidst the turmoil. After a chance encounter with an alleged mobster, Paul suddenly found himself with a million dollars in funding and the chance to start a modeling agency in New York City. The city was then embroiled in a “model war” between industry titans Eileen Ford and John Casablancas, and Paul tried to make his mark. But even as Paul thrived in the party-heavy culture of the time, burning cash like a furnace, he came face to face with the darkest forces in the industry. As his shady backers put the screws to him, Paul faced down deadly consequences, trying to make a star while saving his soul.
