Speaker 1 (00:12):
I heard podcasts, year more kiss podcasts, playlists and listen
live on the free.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
All right, on the punt, this is onwards and upwards round.
We're not going to discuss. We're not going to discuss
what happened last week. It was it was about the
worst weekend on the punt I think we've had. Did anything,
did anything hit.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
A lot of my picks?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Did Hey, hey we're a team.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Are You're right?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
You're right, You're right. There was at least there was
at least one game where I got the one player round.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
You definitely did better than me.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
So if this is your first, if this is your
first time listening to the part, that's probably for the
best because we're not up, but we're reloaded just a.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Sensible amount, a good couple of rounds.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
But we did have some. But what we do is
we look at every round of the NRL, every game,
rather of the round of the NRL, and pick a
couple of players, one player reach and generally a third
RUFFI you just for a bit more value and put
it into a multi So we're starting off on Friday
night football because we've got the women's State of Origin
on Thursday, and I don't know other Thursday night football,

(01:30):
and that's a really one sided event according to the bookies.
It's not worth fluttering on.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Nah, it's pretty hard. You just haven't know with what's
with I guess what's going to happen game two? And
last year you know the Queens and Girls one, so.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, and New South Wales have seen very strong this year.
So so look, you don't need to you don't need
to bet on it anyway, Just go for the girls
and I hope they do all right, hopeful they win. Yes, Okay,
the first game is the Night's taking on the Eels.
This is the first Friday night game. It's pretty even
matched nights. To pay a dollar eighty one Eels of
two dollars and.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Four, they both need to win otherwise I think go
bottom of the ladder over the losers.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yeah, Son's out for yeah, but and low Max is out. Okay,
I'm guessing and he did all right for him last week.
But nevertheless, so there, what have we got here? The
Knights have won one of their last five and Eels
are one two of their last five. Heels lost the

(02:28):
last two, So who do you think is going to win?
Just as Yeah, it's it's almost impossible, isn't it.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
It's really hard. It's Oh, it's I'm pretty sure it's
the bottom of the ladder.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
So yeah, it would be. I'm tipping the Knights just
because they're at home, but no confidence.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Yeah yeah, well if he was.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
So no sorry, if heels when they they jumped the Panthers.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Yeah right, if it was.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
When Panthers go to the bottom, isn't the crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Wow. By the way, we'll talk about your your origin picks.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
I'm going once we.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Get our bets on. Yeah, okay, so who we each
get to pick a player that we think is definitely
going to score? And look at this bloke's been on fire.
So I'm going to go Fletcher Sharp for the Knights. There,
number six. He's been good. They've got between him and
Fletcher Hunt, they've got the two fletchers. Fletcher Hunt's playing

(03:28):
on the wing for the Knights, and he's got an
equally splendid mullet. Have you seen Yeah, yeah, actually, yeah,
you're right, it is magnificent.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
He's got some good mullets.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Haven't they haven't they ever? So who do you like?
So I'm going to go Fletcher Sharp. He's my one
guy who you going.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Oh do like this is how long is this going
to go for?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah? Okay, yeah, yep. You didn't score last week, but
he has been scoring a lot.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Or you're tempted by Lomax coming back. That's the problem,
is it.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Yeah, I was tempted to go la Actually yeah, Lomax,
I don't like that.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I talked to you out of it. No, I like, okay,
all right, so Lomax and Sharp, Yeah, that pays a
dollar ninety six, and then I reckon. I think we're
agreed that we'd throw at okar In as a third
for more value. Yeah, a little bit, and that pays
nine dollars fifty if. Yeah, So that's good.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
It's all been there.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Okay, all right, So there's our there's our bets for
game one. Moving on to Game two, Bulldogs taking on
the Roosters. This is first versus ninth. Bulldogs are first
and they yeah, they're pretty short dollar forty two. The
Rooster's paying two dollars eighty seven.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Well, I'm surprised about that.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Lindsay Collins is back. Well he's named anyway.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Yeah he is.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
He's on the bench, he's on the on the bench
for the Roosters. Yep. And you were saying if he's
if he has a good enough game, you reckon, we'll
get picked for Origin.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I believe he could be a chance.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah, yeah, okay, definitely yep. He is a hard working blake, isn't.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yeah, and he scores.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
He'scores a lot of dries for works.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
It works, he works, and he's tough.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
So because he's always there, if.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
He if he has a cracking game as yeah, there's
definitely a chance he could be picked.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Okay, all right, So who's your who's your one player? Now?
By the way, just before we get into that, Dominic
Young he's been all over the headlines, so he's he's
the book. He does score a lot of tries for
the Roosters. He was even more he was playing. He
was unbelievable when he was playing for the Knights, scoring
a ton of tries. Now there was there was talk

(05:44):
about him being released mid contract to go and play
for the Knights. Then it came out that the Knights
were expecting the Roosters to sort of fit the bill
and paying for for the end of the year. And
so he's named on a on like a twenty two
man bench. I don't think he'll be playing, nah, but

(06:05):
that's a bit of it. Yeah, it seems like he's
just kind of in no man's land at the moment.
But you understand why they've picked Mark now, I could
say over him because he's just playing great football.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Yeah, he's actually playing incredible football.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
And yeah, look, I guess that's just the way they
wanted to go with it, and that's entirely up to them.
And it's it annoys when people come out with all
these things, but and of the day, what's going to
happen is going to happen.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
You can't do anything about it.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
So you know, it's been nice to see him playing somewhere.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
It would have been nice see him playing.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
So I don't see him being on the bench for
long as in wherever he goes or if he stays, Yeah,
it'll be soon.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
So the Knights just don't out the money. I think that.
I don't think I haven't got the cash like they've.
They've got the salary cout. They just don't have the cash.
So I'm going to put Mark as my my one
try scorer before playing for on the wing for the
Roosters is that the one you want?

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah, surely, because I've I think this is a lot
close in game than what everyone else is than what
the book is saying. Anyway, Yeah, I oh, look because
it could be a close game if I'm honest. Yeah,

(07:24):
Billy Smith.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
So we're going to put two roosters on? Yeah, okay,
well that will pay good eyes. That's six alls fifty Yeah,
I like them.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Yeah, so we're.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Basically tip tipping an upset with that.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
You think I did want to put I like my
Toya Montoya.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Yeah, in to be honest, I did so.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
All right, Well then let's I'm very comfortable with making
him our third for a bit more value. That brings
it up to twelve bucks.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Okay, okay, so the two is the first, Mark and
Billy and then yeah, the little a.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Little have a little flutter on Monty.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, he's playing good foot of the moment, the.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Team that the roosters are playing good Yeah. All right.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
So then we're moving on to the first of the
Saturday afternoon game. So Dolphins take it on the It's
twelfth versus second hard game. The Warriors are in great
form and they're playing a dollar eighty three, so they're
only just favorites over the Dolphins. I think the Warriors
are going to win that game.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Yeah, I do so. I think they're playing crate foot.
I really like watching them.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah, yeah they are. They're a great team to watch.
Fisher Harris is back in for the Warriors, so that's huge.
I mean they've been winning without him. Yeah. Kenny Bromwich
has been named for the for the Dolphins, so that's
big for them too. Is he named in the starting team.
They put him on an extended bench. He's on the
extended bench, so who knows if he'll actually play, but

(08:43):
he's been named. Okay, so who do you who's your
one person? You Reckon's definitely going to score.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Look there you got, okay, Dallen because he let me
down last week.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Pretend Lesniak. Yeah, same, I thought he was going to
score last week for sure. Yeah, surely he's not going
to go. Although in his defense, he just never got
like he's on a wing. Someone's got to throw.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
On the ball and Barry Crocker with his hands, did
he Yeah, first game back for a while, so yeah, okay,
that changes.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
So put d w z in and I think the
Hammard didn't score last week. He's not going to go
two weeks without scoring. I don't think, right, So put
Tabla Fodeau in and so now that's pretty short odds.
It's only paying three dollars forty.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
So now this was going to be my first pick.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Yeah, whose first?

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Harris Tavita?

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yeah, chance, he was going to be my original first Yeah, okay,
shut ell rather.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Yeah now I like him.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Yeah, he competes yeap, doesn't score a lot, yep, But
I reckon this could be this could be a game
where he gets an opportunity.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
So well, if we throw it. He's paying four thirty
on his own, so we throw him with those other two.
It's up to thirty dollars fifty.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Do you like anyone that you would swap in?

Speaker 2 (10:04):
I do like, I do like it, look me calf
I like for the Warriors. He's been he's scored five
tries in the last five games.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
He's got four and one. Yeah, he three n two,
he's got three.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Okay, well in the last five he's scoring a lot though,
he's got four in the last two.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Yeah, he's on fire, So I wouldn't Yeah, I mean,
if we throw him in as well.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
He's good too, so that's right, thank you.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Sorry if you're throwing him in.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
He's playing great foot.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
That's thirty five dollars, but four of them. Yeah, if
we want to go for a little super Bowl, okay,
we only have to put three bucks on that. It
pays an.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Yeah, put fifty.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
For thirty nine. We'll put something something on that. That's
where that's where fire.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
We're flying.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yes, yeah, I like that Chanelle. His parents name him
after the handbags and stuff.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Heck, I'd be happy if they did if I that
was me.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Would you? Yeah, you can get around being called Gucci. Yeah,
they would have flown or in bill a wheeler. Now
I could Gucci come here, Guji, you gotta go and
help your dad fix the fan.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Never know, you never know what it could mean. It
has a lot of googie hambags.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Yep, just a young just a young kid in the bush.
He loves a handbag, all right. So moving on to
cowboys taking on the seagulls. This is another there's a
lot of really evenly match games. Cowboys are a dollar seventy.
Seagulls are two dollars sixteen. Seagulls coming off a loss,

(11:45):
cows Cowboys coming off a draw. Cows, Yeah, to win,
to win the thing, Yeah, agreed. I think the Cowboys
will win it. So this is the five thirty PM
game on Saturday. By the way, So who do you
like to score? Tommy? Tommy Travoyvitch doesn't seem like scoring
anytime soon? Does He shouldn't have mentioned his name. I

(12:08):
know that goes against my own rules, but anyway, yeah,
bloodyat trick three on him the center for Manly scored,
scored a lot on the weekend and the losing team
Cooler Coler, Yes, he was very good. He did, and
he's always around it. So I'm going to make him

(12:31):
my one.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Coler Coler, Yes, okay, all right, I'm going Perdy, you're.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Going is it Jackson? Jackson Purdue? Okay, perdu perdue all right.
So that's paying five bucks just with those two. And
then if we want to throw in.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Value, who you like? Actually?

Speaker 2 (13:00):
I like looking at Queensland players looking to impress.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
I don't want that Labor. He's a good player. Who's
that Zach Labor? Ladu five?

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Who's he playing for?

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Is he?

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
You like him?

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Still?

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Try score from five eighth.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
He's a great player.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Okay, who's Zach Labat? Okay, so he's paying for the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Where's he on the center player? Yeah, okay, it goes good.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
You know, I'll throw him. He's great value. We throw him,
and all of a sudden, it's sixty dollars.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
All right. I like that. Of course it off like
the value.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
And there's another game on Saturday because of the no
Thursday night. So we've got the Sharks taking on the
Storm seven thirty five. It's a home game for the Sharks.
Sharks are still paying two dollars forty four to the
Storm's dollar fifty six. But yeah, surely the Storm are
going to win that.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
It's just because they haven't gone back to back this year.
Sure I haven't now, sorry, back to back good.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Performances for a while.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Yeah, right, I shouldn't say this year. I think they
have gone back to back.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
But look, no Wingers scored on the weekend. No, it's
annoyed the out of me. We were on everyone else.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
But everyone and and Papenhouses scored five tries.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
You know.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
For for reference this weekend, Ryan Pappenhausen's he scored thirty
six points because he's kicked the con version as well.
He would have he would have won every game. Yeah,
on his last weekend, no other team scored above thirty
and he scored thirty six solo.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Yeah, they scored, they scored. They scored like half the
points for the round.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
He was unbelievable. And but yeah, it wasn't great for
our betting so many points. But yeah, no one, no
one would have thought.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
It's kind of a hard game.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
If I'm honest, I don't think I'd go too many
at all, just a couple of enough. I'd go three
round this. I just don't know it could go. It
could be like a forty point scoring game. But was
it twenty twenty or is it forty l or is it?

Speaker 3 (14:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
I like, I'm going to stick with him even though
he let us him though he didn't score, I thought
he played a great game for Longo. Yeah, go on
on the wing for the storm. Yep, he's one of
my favorite players to watch. I mean, it feels weird
not putting guitar in, but I'm not doing that. I'm
not mentioning all of their names because I'm getting yours.
What's your other name? Who else you like to join?

(15:19):
Far long ago from the Storm Guitar Qatar. Yep, good done.
That's five twenty five for those too. Do you want
to throw in a Shark's playoff for value for a third?

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Oh? I see what hey?

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yeah, we're gonna the black that you love. You always
mentioned him o kal Yeah, Iro, you're right. But yeah,
he scored six tries in the last five games. He
hasn't missed in the last five games, so he's due
to medicine.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. Okay, and it's against them,
it is, I am Ooh, it's hard.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Maybe no one just leave it to.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
I don't mind. Yeah, no too, just the Turk Okay,
fair enough worries me. It's a hard game, it is, and.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Who like I mean, it could just be another massive blowout,
which seems to happen a bit this year. So Sunday's
first game is the Broncos taken on the Dragon.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Games on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah, the first one is at two pm. So Broncos,
who are seventh and there are a dollar twenty nine
versus the Dragon three dollars sixty four their thirteenth. So
it's a home game for the Broncos. They were pretty
disappointing last week as Asra Man. Okay, first game back,

(16:40):
is he playing in five eighth?

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Yeah, yep?

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Well from the team less's Matt Yeah, okay, yeah, all right.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Oh I can't put I'm not going to put a
I'm not going to put a dragon in. So we're
just going to go too Broncos, which is dangerous because
who knows what's going to happen. But I think Cobbo.
I think Cobbo is he hasn't been I mean, he's
been talked about stay of borrow. He seems like a
player that's possibly going to miss out, so he will

(17:13):
be keen to have.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
A huge game.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
He's a great footy player.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Yeah, it's because he's playing full back, but Jesus playing good.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Yeah, So I'll put Cobo. I'll put Cobo in Ezra.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
And the two of those pay four dollars fifty And
you want to throw in you want to throw in
someone from the from the Dragons to get value. Yep,
maybe Val Bell Holmes's Val. I just think this time
of years, there's a lot of players. Just one of

(17:46):
them do something special for him.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
And then if we're up, I thrown in Brendan Picura picure.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Yeah, okay, because he's playing good. He is.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
He hasn't has he scored yet this year.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Not for a while, but he's getting every game. I
see him improving more and more.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
So I think that's just if we want super value
sons of a definite, it's just it's fifty three bucks.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Yeah, okay, that's huge.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Big value.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Yeah nice, I do like a value.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
All right.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
So the second second Sunday game is four oh five.
It's in Canberra. It's a dollar thirty one for the Raiders,
who are fourth on the ladder. The Titans are paying
three dollars fifty their fifteenth on the ladder.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Did you how many home games of the Raiders? Add?

Speaker 1 (18:29):
You're right then, mainly I swear they played home every game.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Yeah, well they even it out towards the back in
the year.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Yeah, they're probably gonna have to ten away games.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Right, Yeah, so they could, they could back.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
That doesn't happen. That's how it works. I don't know
what's been going on unless they've been back to back.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
But it's weird.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
They played great at home too. Yeah, so I'll be
picking the Raiders to win. They lost their last game. Actually, yeah,
and the the Titans won their last but they lost
the previous four.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Yeah, so I'm going you got Chris excuse me.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yes, Chris Sebastian Chris. He hasn't called for the last two.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
But he's playing good.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
I like him.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Yeah, he goes well, a good player.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Weeks and Timca are getting a real combination together, aren't they.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Yeah, I love that Weeks. He's one of my favorite
at the moment. I really enjoy watching him.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Yeah, I reckon, I put Week, I reckon, I make
Weeks my guy. Yeah, yeah, Weeks and Chris pays five
dollars fifty. There's a number. They've got so many, so
many players you could pick pick like Savage Young and
they so many players.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Well for a bit of value, I've actually gone Kelly.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Brian Kelly just thought, yeah, okay, yeah, no, he's he
hasn't scored for a couple of weeks, and.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
He likes to Yeah I t Yeah it goes close.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
So yeah, if he gets through, he often can tests
for the ball, doesn't he. So that pays nineteen to
seventy five if we throw Brian Kelly in. Yeah, that's
pretty good that I like it. Yeah, okay, so confident
with that one. Yeah, nice, Well with all of them
confident all will be desperate by if we're in all sorts.

(20:08):
So onto the final game of around six fifteen, West
Tiger's taking on the Rabbits. This is tenth eleventh and
there's nothing in it the books having pretty much even money.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Your man's back, who's that Johnson?

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Ah? Gee, okay, well then he's my guy, all right?
So Alex Johnson for the for the Bunnies, that's one pick.
Who's going to win the game. You think, I don't
know who you're going to tip?

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Rabbit as well? Just have Tigers could come out and
put up an absolute clinic.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
I think the Tigers after that loss, I think the
Tiger's in it. They would have been so stung by
sixty four. That's for nil.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
That hurts.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Yeah, I think Tigers will win that or tip them.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
And but the Buddies are going, okay, no, I think
I'm good they beat the gonn it'd be a hard
game from to win.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
I like Buller, Drei and Buller.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Yeah, I think he's a big game.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
So yeah, okay, so Buller and Johnson and and who
who you like? If you want to throw him a
bit of value.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
We used to, We used to back him a lot
before he didn't.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Who's that, Humphries, Jamie Humphries, you're right, yeah, okay, let's
throwing back in. What's so forget Buller and I'm just
putting this punt together as we speak, Buller Alex Johnson.
That pays four fifty by itself. And then if we
put in humphrees. Yeah, oh yeah, Now I've got a

(21:31):
sixteen like multi it's twenty one seventy five that is
for those three. So that's good.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Yeah, that's great. But I don't mind it.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Okay, all right, surely, surely this is redemption, right, come on,
all right, now you mentioned this on the on the
show today, we're talking about your Queensland Origin team. It's
a good team. I can't argue with it. You've got
Ponger at number one, may Tail Lungi at number two.
You had Cobbo but you had to cross him out.

(21:58):
He wrote, well, you got the Hammer at number playing
at number three.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Val before if they picked Cobbo there like it really wouldn't. Yeah,
I just I just don't know.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
You've got Xavier Coats at number five. He's on the
other wing. Monster's number six, Cherry Evans number seven, Big
Tino forasuamar Ali at number eight, Harry Grant number nine,
Cotter's at ten, Nanai eleven, Gilbert twelve. You've got that's
his second row. So you've got Karrigan's playing at thirteen lock.
Then you've got Diaden on the bench at number fourteen.

(22:31):
It's good choice. Joy Arrow's fifteen, big Mouth for a
Waker at sixteen, and Brett Fermore at number seventeen.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Both the not Brett.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Sorry, I just saw the b and I went with it.
You know what's interesting about that, Karrigan's paying thirteen playing
at thirteen. You've named him there. He's great at thirteen.
Why the Broncos playing him at thirteen.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Because he's it's it's not really the number, and it's
it's still a prop.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
So I don't know that.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
I don't understand, but I just think at the Bronx
he wants everyone to be able to mag does. Yeah,
so he's obviously done a lot of work, like paying
ass is found to pass, you know, he's been you know,
so it's nothing more like that.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
It's just more I feel.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
It just he obviously likes having pain and patios at
eight and ten.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Yeah okay, and then Kobe's a lock. But to be honest,
they all play the same role.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
It actually doesn't matter what number. I don't believe, so yeah, okay,
paying harsh gee. I love him as a Bronco, but
as a Blue he's frightening.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
He's just the way he is at the moment.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
He's on fire and he's so fit. Yeah, so incredible.
Do you reckon? Because if with that bench there and
if Cobbo, if Cobbo doesn't get name, they put Mariy
on the wing and Tarlang has done enough and he's
done enough for Queensland to get a nice.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
He's a great player. They're both good players.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
So do they put Cobbo on the bench though, if
he doesn't get named on the starting side, you haven't
put in there, but.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
You can put him at eighth yeah ah.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Yes, emergency, so that what happens, So the eighteenth man
comes into play. If there's two.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Foul play fool player, which then the player to miss
the rest of the game, it's straight away. Yeah, all
if there's two concussions that have deemed so Walsh.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Got that crazy head whole. If he'd gone off, then
you yeah, you did go on.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
So that was that was fair play. So we've got
a friend. We got a free straight at eighteenth man.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Okay, yeah, well cobbos perfect that because you can put
Hi pretty much anyway back.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Line, and that's why I put Kurt Man there. I
think he's he's been playing great footy. He's half, he
can play multiple positions, ye, half back, five eight, hooker,
fall back, center, lock, covers the whole field, so you know,
I wouldn't be surprised they pick him. I think he's
been playing really good.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
But I do you think this will be Cherry Evans
last year?

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Look, results aren't play a massive part in all this.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
So if they win and he wants to play, he'll play.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
If he wants to play.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
And if they win the series and he wants to play, yep,
I don't see any changes.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
Yeah, but you know, if it's the other way around,
then you just never know.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
So it's I mean, that's a really good looking team. Yeah,
I really like I think it's going to be interesting
when Reesey Walsh is back. Whether or not he unseats Ponger,
I don't know, because Pong is also playing great football.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
Yeah, and he's safe. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
I think Pong has really worked on his game in
the last few years, and I think the small areas
that he's been working.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
On a lot, they've really shown.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
And I've really noticed a big difference in his the
play selections is you know, his safeness under the high ball,
his carries, and he was he was always good at those,
but he's really it's like he's really focused on minimizing
his errors and wrong decisions, and I.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
Feel like it's not easy to do.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
And I feel like in a one on one tackle,
I think Pong is more likely to make the tackle
them Welsh.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Yeah, but I've seen that difference in Walsh. Yeah, he's
making a lot more, getting his body in a lot,
a lot more, and it's good and it shows he's
trying to.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
Actually improve improve better his game.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
And you can see what Mage is trying to do
with him, and a lot of people that don't like
it and haven't agreed with it, and you know, don't
see it, I think, but you know, I believe if
it's a good path, if he sticks on it, and
you know, if he can concentrate on those areas and
still have his game that we all know.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
You just never know what could happen.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
If he had good that, if he wasn't injured, would
you put him in?

Speaker 1 (26:55):
I think it'd be hard to be a harder decision,
a lot harder.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
And that's why what would your decision be? I really
don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
I'd have Ponger in the team if while she was
fall back, I'd still a pole.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
In the team.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
Okay, you just because he's another player you can put anywhere,
can you? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (27:18):
And and and all in all seriously, like while she
you can't, it's it's hard not to have.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Him in the team. Yeah, you know sometimes Yeah, so
when you have the best of both worlds, why.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Not having both them?

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Both?

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Porcus porquet and lost Doors? As the lady from the
old I'm sure I butchered.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
I wouldn't have a clue you could have, but it
could have been perfect.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
In my You a Little Girl podcast on All Lost.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Doors with the soft tell what that says?

Speaker 3 (27:51):
Yeah, never knew?

Speaker 2 (27:54):
All right, heavy panting games, Yes,
