Speaker 1 (00:12):
I heard podcasts, hear more kiss podcasts, playlists and listen
live on the Free Heart.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah, alright on the punt episode ten. All right, some
half assed productions.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Okay, yeah, oh shit, didn't you count Mondy is about
to God damn.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Everybody is a place hit on.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Stay out your mother. We're running this letter.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
I'm on the put.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
I'm on the part, bloody, look at me because I'm
wedding on the put on the pun. I'm on the
put than a good heart. Look here's my wedding on
the part.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah all right, yeah, ready to go. Now. We haven't
had a lot of success, but it's time to turn
it around.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Here.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yes, magic ground, magic round this. So every game will
be played at Suncorp Stadium this weekend kicking off so.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Home and away does not matter.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
No, that's right.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
It's packed crowds. Everyone plays well under pack crowds.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
And looking at the odds for the games, with the
exception of maybe one or two games, they're all very
very tight games. It's going to be a really really
tight weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah. Because of that reason.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Yeah, So we're kicking off six o'clock Friday night, so
we've got Sharks taking on the Eels. So Sharks are
coming off a narrow loss, the Eels are coming off
will win. Sharks are still favorites, though, dollar forty eight
to the Eels two dollars sixty six. And so what
we do, if this is the first time you're listening
to it, is we selected player each for you to
put into a same game multi. Sometimes we'll give you

(01:52):
a third if you want to get some better money,
but we both pick a player that we think is
definitely going to score and you can put them into
a same game multi for some decent odds. So who
do you like and where do you think in this
game where the try is going to come? And we're
looking towards wingers. Where are they're coming from?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yatages, I believe, Yeah, most of the majority of the
tries should be edges.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
So and what's what's out? Okay, so the back rower out?
So edge of the rucks sort of like yeah, not
all the way the wing but in the middle.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
There yeah, Like yeah, so where the twenty and ten
meters lines are from the sideline? Yeah? Okay, so it's
from anyway where they're out.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Like, So that being the case, someone like Nicker, who
is a great edge player. He scores a lot of tries.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Actually let me down last week he did. And that's
He's all I needed.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
For a big He was just something sometimes his mother.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Two scored straight away. I'm in here, that's right, got.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Myself, so I want to say nicer as my will score.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Right.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Who do you want for the Sharks?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
He is Bailey Simonson?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
For the par I think Para win.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah? Do ye even that they're outsiders?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, okay, they completely different team. Yeah. Last week with
Moses and that in itself helps when you feel better
and you play that good. Yep. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
So Nike and Simonson yep. And if you got anyone,
if you wanted to throw in a third for value, scores.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
A lot, yeah, I would either go at Okat or
that k Sharks. Yeah good. I like him. Yeah, plays
really good. Jesus scores a lot too. I just realize
he does.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
But if you think, okay, yeah, I like that, especially
if you think power are going to win. So that's
where you get your extra value. Okay, all right, So
onto the eight o'clock game Friday night. Still, so we've
got the Roosters taking on the Dolphins. This is tight
dollar ninety three to a dollar ninety one. It's anyone's game.
Roosters are coming off a win, Dolphins are coming off

(04:00):
a loss. Dolphins gave away a huge lead on the
weekend last week. They were in front by was it
twenty points or something?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
And then yeah it was twenty or eighteen? Yeah, yeah,
that that's hard.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
So yeah, so again, where do you reckon the points
are going to come from? Is this a sort of
a good game for wingers or a good game for
what do you think weaknesses are?

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Oh? Weaknesses? Oh? I think Look, I think that they're
a bit vulnerable through the middle.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Who are the Dolphins?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Dolphins? Yeah, okay, and with the with the size and
the leg speed of the Roosters middles. It just depends
on the game. Like these two teams haven't played.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Really sporadic, aren't they.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Yeah, there hasn't been any back to back performances where
you can say, oh, yeah, that's going to be the
end this year. So they're great teams that don't get
me wrong, like any one of these teams can win
the camp easily, but it's just they get it right.
But you might see one or two tries in the
middle from the roosters between through the Dolphins. I don't
think I believe that the forward pack and the middle pack,

(05:13):
they're all very experienced players. They've played together for a
long time, and a couple of the newer guys in
the Ruses have really surprised me this year. So they're
very strong in the middle.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I'm tipping the Dolphins to win the game, just because
it's a home game for them.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Bask I have to yeah, ok so, ah, so look
you've gone the center. I can never get his right,
his name right for ruses.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Now is he playing? I think he's playing on the wing.
This is that mark, which.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Is even better.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah, I tend to agree, Yeah he is. He's playing,
he's playing at number five.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
No, he's just a cracking player.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Yeah, I like it. We've got to talk to We've
got to find out how to say his name.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I do listen to the commentations and they nail it,
but I do I can't.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I know, they say it quickly. They say it so
quickly that you can't even.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Maybe that's why they do it.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
I yes, you got well, he was going to be mine.
But I actually think I like Avarillo for the Dolphins. Yeah, okay,
he scores pretty regularly, and he always he's always, he's
in and around, you know what I mean. He really
gives it a go. But if we're onready picking two,
I'd make Avarilla the ruffie and I'd put the Hammer in.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
I think that's that was me thing that was me picks.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, okay, so Hammer and Mark now and Mark and
Mark and then Avarilla was a roughie. If you wanted
to a third, okay, definitely all right. So moving on
to Saturday, We've got three pm game. South's taking on
the Nights. Now. This is a battle of the Gibbras
the South. South have lost the last three, Knights have

(06:49):
lost the last.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Five startedn't it makes it a bit difficult.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Yeah. Whitton is suspended from the bedding, so I don't
know what that. I think he's out, must be out.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
I think I've seen that the other day. He got
ruled out late.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Okay, and Latrelle Mitchell is out for South.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Yeah, so that's that hurts.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
So the betting by the way South through at two
dollars eleven nights of favorites, having lost the last five,
they're still favorites at a dollars seventy three. I think
that's just because South don't have Mitchell and it makes
a big difference.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
So that means I would think that they would bring
in I think Thomas Fletcher. I think is he the
five half that Bank's up. I think bring him in
for Roost for rabbit O's Yeah, okay, I would say
for for Whiten if he's out.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
So have you you know you tipped win the game
from it can.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Be South's where the tries will come. Yes, I believe
best in the on the edges. I think both teams
have actually very very strong meddles and the way they
defend they're very tight, right yeah, okay, It's just it's
the way they defend when they're they're an up and out.

(08:02):
They don't try and fill the field, yep. They just
try and they try and use their line speed to
get to get more yeah room behind them to then
move up and follow the ball and move on the
on the pass right which usually is up and out.
So they defend tightly. So that's that's why I think
the edges.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
So that's the way South's defend. Both both teams do. Okay,
so you reckon senders are going to score.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
If they're yeah, center's back. Brother was usually because if
they're hitting the hard line or if they catch them. Yeah,
so I've gone best, Brandon the best you had the best.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
He's due too. I think he hasn't scored for a bit.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah yeah, and they're starting to get a little bit
of a I know, I feel like they're getting a
little bit of a groove back.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
So yep, well, I reckon. Given this game, I reckon,
there's going to be points through the side. So if
you go best, I feel like I should put a
South player. And actually I was thinking about this bloke,
Campbell Graham, who's in the centers for Great litt Rabbits.
All right, it's really good, So two centers. Yeah, yeah, okay,

(09:03):
and if you want to throw it, if you're going
to throw in a roughie, he's going to throw it
for a bit of extra money. This bloke, he's had
a pretty good start. The young winner winger on for
South Bailey Bentley, Harpey or hate. He he's only played
a couple of games, but he scored. He's a young Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
It's just hard without white and you don't know how
their attacks going to go.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Yeah, who's going to be passing them passing him the ball.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Yeah yeah, so it's really hard. I was going to
go fletch as sharp as a roughie, like a real yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Yeah, okay, well it's a big Where's he played number six?

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Yeah for Newcastle?

Speaker 1 (09:39):
That's big.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Yeah. Probably more confident than that, to be honest.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Because bigger it's better odds.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
So if you're gonna go a raffie, you might as
well get some money. Yeah, all right, onto, are you
riding these down by the way, because yeah, okay, good,
all good. I'm trying to move along on a Saturday
after the evening, early evening five thirty games that game.
But this could be other than the Broncos. I think

(10:05):
this could be the game of round.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
I went Bronx Bronx Storm.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
As the game of the round talk this will be
the thought. But so hang on. This is Warriors taking
on the Cowboys. Warriors are two dollars ten Cowboys a
dollars seventy favorite doll set. Now, the Warriors have won
four of the last five and the Cowboys have won
the last four straight. It's a cracking both teams.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
They're in very good form and they're playing crack and footy.
It's a hard one. I've just gone to the Queensland team.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Yeah, where do you think points are going to come
from for me?

Speaker 1 (10:37):
This well?

Speaker 2 (10:38):
And it's you don't know, na, it's an I was
playing playing good. He started off pretty slow.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
He's coming back.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yep, do reckon, you'll get a spot for Queensland.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Hard. It's really hard. That's it's a yeah hard. I
think there's a few positions that are a lot are
very very open. But yeah, look.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
So well, first of all, who do you think is
going to win?

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Went cows? Just because it's a great game of footy.
Both teams are playing great, they're playing experience, they're playing
just really good football, like attacking wise, defensively turned up
most games.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
So it's fourth versus sixth.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
On the ladder for the Warriors this one.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
I'm ti the Warriors. I think there's gonna be that
many Kiwi's in the crowd. There'll be a lot of
North Queenslanders too.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
I think it like it's a home game for both.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
But I don't know who I've gone.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
I think if I, well I can get a start,
then I think Purdue Jackson, who's the he's the center
for Cows. He's been scoring good for I'd like to
put him in as my one. Who you got you're
gonna pick one player, Jeseus put me.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Up a right. Well, look Murray, yep, I just I
just don't know how. I don't know how they're going
to go. I'm not saying they won't play. They defended
really well the Cows of the week.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Yep. Okay, so going to do and ta langey Yeah,
and I reckon, you got it. If you're going to
get some a little bit of add some extra fruit
to it, you probably would put in Pompy for the
Warriors as the thirdies. He's scoring every game.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
One isn't Berry back Berry.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Rocco he's playing, Yeah, Rocko is playing in the centers,
but Pompy's on the wing.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Ye Pompy. Yeah, he's just playing good. He has really
good Their whole team isn't playing good. It's just so bluddy.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
I can't wait for that game.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
That's a game a cracker, that'll be awesome.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
One more game on Saturday night, seven forty five Tigers
taking on the Dragons. Now West Tiger's coming off a win,
Dragons off a loss, or it's pretty much even money.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Oh, I love team. I think I love the way
the Tigers are playing.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Yeah, is that yours your that's your phone? I think
it is sports. But it's very easy to click a
video that you've given you a rundown.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
I don't want your run down listen to you.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
So you went to the Tigers to win? I yes,
I think I'll tip the Tigers as well. I have.
I like the Tigers in this and but as my
one try scorer, I like Sloan for the Dragons, Buller
for the Tigers.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
The plane so he's everywhere is he?

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Where's he from?

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Is here a Queenslanders?

Speaker 2 (13:50):
That'd be a show? Yeah, okay, so so Sloan and
Buller and okay, moving on to Sunday. A couple of
games left Sunday.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
That's too hardig a third? I reckon?

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yeah, Teruver has been scoring a lot for Actually if
I was because lucky. Yeah, he's how do you reckon?
He's feeling right now, he's been under the spotlight so much,
had a pretty good game on the weekend. Fine, he
played like a nineteen year old. He's not stressed about anything.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
No, I think it's just yeah, it just shows you
his confidence, which I like.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
I love seeing that.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Yeah. All right, Sunday AVO one fifty kickoff. So it's
the Titans taking on the Bulldogs. The Titans have lost
the last four and the Bulldogs lost last week to
the Broncos pretty pretty tellingly. Yeah, and they but it's
their first loss of the season. They're out. Yeah, look
at they're out. So they've got out, Currents out, Burton's

(14:45):
out too, Berneurs out and will be for the next
seven weeks.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
That was they actually got a great side.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Did you say that knee? The knee from from it
was really bad, Like it looks so bad it was.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
It was really really weird to see him do it.
I think I don't know if he ever does it.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Before, but it's been done for it before, has he. Yeah,
he's got Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
And he's a great player. He competes, which is which
is a frustrating part.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
I think we've mentioned him plenty of times on this.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
He's a great I've really liked him. I love watching
him play. Yeah, apart from that part.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
That's that was a real dog act. And the second
knee that he put in as well, and it was
against some young Bronco.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Who was it the Brandan procure. He's lucky, He's lucky
to hit him in a certain spot. If he hit
him anywhere up on more of his head, he could
have broaken his neck.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Yeah. Yeah, they've got plenty of outs, but there's still
red hot favorites. Bulldogs are a dollar twenty eight to
Titans three seventy and Big Tenot's back for the Titans.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Yeah, I've tipped Titans, have you.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah, it was a bit of I mean you could
just put that in a multi that's three seventy. Yeah,
I don't mind.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
That I've gone Titans.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
I actually think they I don't know, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
I just if they get away to the start that
they can, it's gonna be it's hard to stop him
when when the Titans, when they get a roll, you
can't stop him.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
And the Bulldogs are definitely yeah, well they are down
on manpower, but they've still got a pretty good I
didn't stop before. They've lost a pretty good team.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
They've lost Burton in a couple of games already.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Yeah, I think I've did the Bulldogs. I think the
Bulldogs will win, but this will be I think it'll
be a lot closer than the bookies thing. Yeah, I'll
go on JJ for feed up.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
Yeah, he's been scoring plenty, hasn't he.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
What do you gone? I think it'll be Edges, I
reckon because their middles are very good defensively, they both defend,
they both reason to defense for well. But their edges, well,
the Doggies' edges is very experiencing, very good. Yeah, they
have leaked points out there, so so more so on
their right, Yeah, I think more so on the right.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
So so if I was choosing between because I am
choosing between two Doggies players here, I think it'll either
be Cherry who's the center for the Bulldogs, or Jacob Preston,
who's the second role and who plays left.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
I'd be one of them, either.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Either of those. Yeah, let's go Presston. We'll get some better,
are you, Jacob Preston and jojo Ffeeda yep? And if
you want to have a third you put in Cherry?

Speaker 1 (17:17):
Yeah why not?

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Okay? Yeah? My okay. So, and now we've got just
the one Sunday after Oh no, there's too there's two
more games. Sorry right now, this is because games? Yes, yeah, okay,
So this is an interesting game. Panthers taking on the
Broncos four o'clock Sunday afternoon. Panthers are seventeenth. I think, yeah,
they're paying two fifty seven, the Broncos a fifth, paying

(17:41):
a dollar fifty. Broncos have come off like they really
smashed the Bulldogs and Panthers have had another loss, so
they're yeah, they're not going great. No, so where the
point's going to come again.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
It could be anywhere. The Bronx shouldn't learny in the middle. Yeah,
they shouldn't learn it anywhere anywhere. But the way they
defend again, no, there should be any tries in the middle.
If there is, it'll be from a poor decision or
a slack defender. And probably a similar case with the Panthers.
But at the moment, it's it's hard to they it's

(18:21):
hard to pick because it's just be many points. It's
hard to know if they play the way they have
been like, it's just that they're making errors. Whether the
Panthers never normally would ye, they've they've always been so clinical.
So yeah, if they can limit the errors, this is
why I think it'll be the game of the round.
If they limit their errors, it'll be a cracking game
of football and then possibly maybe not a heap of points.

(18:44):
But if they don't and the Bronx can play the
way they did last week, you know, it could be
a bad game.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
But he didn't score last week. But you're like the
way Stags. Yeah, Stas is playing.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
I love him.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
He's playing so mad. Yeah, he's so good.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
He's in great form and I love him. And he's fit,
he looks good. He's getting older, very smart, he's getting smarter. Yeah,
and he's honestly getting fitter and stronger, which is scary.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
So yeah, so Cobbo, Yeah, yeah, Well he's only scored
once in the last five games.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
I just love Cobbo. He's at fallback. You know, he
can be and he can be everywhere. So he's a
bit of a hit and miss. But I think he's
going to have another cracking game this weekend.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
This is gonna I want to put Billy Walters in again.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
You're going to go Stags?

Speaker 2 (19:36):
No, I want to put Billy. Well, he's paying five
twenty five. Okay, maybe he's just a separate Maybe he's
just a separate. Bet we don't put him in.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
A multill he can be the third like we can, yeah, okay,
and just a tour and then he can be the third.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Well, then let's go Stags because it's it's a big
stage game and Stags is just he's a big stage player.
So we've got Cobbo and Stags. And he's weird not
putting Jesse Arthur's in because he's been so consistent, but
he'll probably score. He probably will. Yeah, hell, we'll be
scored four now that we haven't put him in. Yeah, okay,
all right, So we've got Cobbo, Stags, and Billy Walters.

(20:08):
If you want an extra last one, last one Storm
the other game around, this could be a Cracker Storm Raiders,
So Storm or a dollar fifty Raiders two dollars fifty eight.
This is happening Sunday night. To wrap up Magic, there'll
be a pearler and then you know what's great about
this game? Public Holiday the next day. For Yeah, they're good.
So both coming off a win. Raiders have won the

(20:30):
last four in a row, and yet Storm is still
the favorite dollar fifty. All right, they're a good team,
the Storm. I feel like they've been good for as
long as I can remember.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
They're good every year. That's why Craig Bellamy's such a
good coach.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Isn't he. Have you met him much?

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Yeah? After games and that has had a few things
here and there. Always really nice guy says and he
loves it, you know, he has a chat and just
a very genuine fellow.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
Seeing him up in the box is so good. Like
he's just the angriest coach.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Because he cares. He's passionate and I love it.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
So even when the Storm's up by forty points, if
they went to try, he's few and I like that.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
He just he he wants not perfection, but he just
wants them to play played properly.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yeah, and just and you never you're never allowed to
cruise if you're in the storm, you've got to be on.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Okay, So middles, I don't think there's going to be
many try scores through the middle at all. Right now,
this is a very hard game.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
I got very hard to pick. I had a multi
at home and I had far long ago was my
was he was the lynchpin and got he got taken
out with about a full hour ago. He got offered.
Hi never came back.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
You get money back? No he should. It wasn't with
sports bet, oh was that do it? I thought they
all do it? No, no, why shouldn't they should.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
They should do it. I think it was Ladbrokes and
they and they just said okay, probably was meant to be, Yeah,
that they should have it was because it absolutely scre
so now he I thought he we had to have
this week off anyway, his name, but I think Papenhausen
is my one. Perhaps, Yeah, he's just so, he's everywhere,

(22:18):
he's so good and he's always looking for more.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Jesus making this hard. I'm going to go savage.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Yeah, he's missed the last two weeks. He hasn't scored
for us, so he's due.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
And honestly, if we want to go just to say
for third coats you.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Know, yeah, yeah he now has.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Been playing good far out he just come out.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Yeah. He's just he's always there, isn't he? And he's
he's work under the high ball?

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Is he the best under the high ball?

Speaker 1 (22:52):
I think so they do it very well. The Bronx
boys are getting they're a lot better. They did a
lot of training at AFL this this pre season.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
So is that right? What does that mean is they
go to the Lions, how do they.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Do they actually went out to their facilities, out the
wherever it is, because it's.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Almost like a different type of training. I remember growing up,
you know, just at school teaching rugby league, you know,
learning rugby league, and it was always like catching on
your chest, yeah, on your chest. But now we're teaching
players to catch it like AFL sol above the head.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
I always used to through the old make sure I'm
comfortable practicing with the chest, catch with everything, yep. And
once I did that, you know, I'd then go and
just do everything in the hands. I used to do
like just like a ten minutes of where I'd just
do all hands stuff. Wouldn't jump, yeah, just hands his hands, hands, hands,
and then you get the comfortable doing it, yeah, get

(23:46):
a good feel for how you want to do it.
And then and then I used to go into jumping then.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
And all right, touching my hands jumping.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Yeah, And a lot of this was what I got
off an AFL player.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Right, yeah, who can you name?

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Jesus gone blank, I'll just give you just put me
on the spot and absolutely gone it.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
A lines player.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
He's an old lines player.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah, not brownie.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
I've gone absolutely like how old is he? Not that old?
But not long after. He's probably filthy. If I said that,
is it the tall?

Speaker 2 (24:23):
Was he Afford one of the big tall big sauce
yees sauce, Yeah, yeah, sauce. Yeah, he's good black merrit merrit, Yes, yes,
got him great? God yeah yeah, good, good, good help
me a lot?

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Okay, I got more way of one session, one hour
and a bit session with him than I did with
a lot. Yeah. Really it was all we could do
in then because he was so busy. But that one
session changed a lot of things for me.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Yeah. Speaking of hands, Just wrapping up here, Ali, our
boss was asking this the other day because she was
watching a game and you know, you see the players
on the sidelight that sprang on what looks like hairspray
onto their hands. Is that sticky stuff?

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Yeah, well it's just because it's sweaty. The balls gets
so sweaty. Yeah, it doesn't make it impossible to drop
because when that stuff gets wet.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Yeahless yeah right.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
And and she also asked a follow up question which
I'm sure I've seen it before. Sometimes you players will
put on slippery stuff on their legs to make it
so you fall off a tackle.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Yeah, I've never understood why they did that. I've never
done that, No you haven't.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
No, but they do do it, don't they. That's what
some white cream going on.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Yeah, I've seen it before. I don't believe in it.
It probably helps, but if you're going to get smacked
in the chest, it's not going to do ship.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
Yeah right, yes, okay, so the slippery stuff, don't worry
about that.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
But if you get on your hands but the sticky
stuff works, it definitely helps. Yeah, but if you want
your legs with that slippery stuff, your own hands slipper there, yeah, true.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yeah, okay, we didn't ask. There was just one last
question storm Raiders.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Who did you tip Melbourne? Same the teams, I haven't
been able to find a winner, and I've just gone
the ones that the queen's then.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Yeah, yes, it's lazier to do the same. You can't
be sure, just go for the queens.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
But it's like they should win, but I don't know
because it's such a good game.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
I think it's just emotional, like if I if I
don't know who's going to win, I'll just go for
who I want to win.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yeah, that's exactly right.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Yeah, Well, happy punting Hopefully this is a turnaround week.
Let's go on
