Speaker 3 (00:26):
It's Robert and Kipp Now with Choreo.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
It's on Kiss ninety seven to three, broadcasting live from
iHeart Studios in Las Vegas.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
Let's just say the start of this trip was, it's
been it's been good. Yeah, we've had some really good
things happened.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Well, we're in Vegas because we're going to the Backstreet
Boys tonight to see them at the sphere so you
can live out your childhood dream. And we had to
get here.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
Yeah, we had to get it by a plane obviously,
and look, everything was going great. We got there and
on time. We did the show from the airport even ye,
and we went into our seats, so we we're sitting down.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
The plane was ready to take off in economy. We'll
sit in economy.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
I mean United Airlines gave all of these tickets plus
tickets through the extra legroom for extra legroom seats.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
I looked after us, yes, and.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
Just for the doors closed, a lovely lady came and
asked me to go and sit somewhere else. And then anyway,
all that happened, right, But then Robin after four hours,
thought she'd get a phone out and record some stuff,
and yeah, this is how it all happened.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
How did you do this?

Speaker 5 (01:31):
I was just sawting of one of the ladies obviously
listened to the radio there. We just got chat for ages.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
But how did that end up in an upgrade?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
She asked me? In business class?

Speaker 5 (01:41):
She said, oh, well, I got an Excell leg room
release and I showed her our tickets and she says, oh,
that's the best you're going to get at the moment.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
And then the lady came and said, listen, I've got
four upgraded seats.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Is that enough? Thought, there's five of us. I said,
what names have you got?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
What did she say?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
She gave us the names and.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
I was like, everyone sounds there and I'm like, oh no,
Alie's not in that.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Ali's our boss. By the way, how much red wine?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Have you had?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Seven?

Speaker 6 (02:09):
Seven red wines?

Speaker 3 (02:10):
He's had seven bers? What seven?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
The lucky number?

Speaker 6 (02:14):
Right now?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
I can't believe the bus well, I mean, I mean
you can tell that I had. I mean, it was
so nice. So we were up the front of the plane.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
This is where the lie down seats, and we'd been
an economy and that was great and everything, but you know,
all of a sudden, now you've got like a huge,
proper sized TV in front of you.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
We had slippers, we had pajamas.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, we had unlimited alcohol as clearly these whereas in
economy they got one with what with dinner.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Yeah, but Alie was really happy to allow us to
go up there, and she was very kind.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
I did start feeling guilty just after dinner about how
nice things were for us and how rough things were. Fairly,
so I went back and did a little bit of
a welfare check.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
How's everything going.

Speaker 7 (02:59):
It's mediocre.

Speaker 8 (02:59):
How's yours?

Speaker 4 (03:01):
If I'm honors?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
The state was tough.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Oh the only good thing is that I say, room
the cheesecake.

Speaker 6 (03:12):
You can take my chocking news.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I did take my slippers. I took him with complimentary slippers.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
Look, it was lovely Ali here. Actually, to be fair,
United did a pretty good job. I mean, the economy
is great, but the fact that you were up there
with freaking slippers and all four of you, I'm.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Stuck out the back.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
We should say that is Kelsey, who's our social media person.
Then that's the way that we're being able to and
I think you magnanimously. Ali said she should go up,
so then she should get some footage.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
Yeah yeah, I mean I could also roll tape on
a camera one, but no, I am martterring this situation.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Had a spear seat next year. Yeah, I did have
a spare seed. I was quite comfortable, actually.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
But when I went back to tell Corey how things
had gone really well, he was very concerned. I spoke
to Alie and she's like, how's everything going over well?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
If I'm honest, the steak was a little at least.
Now there's thank you for allowing us to have that

(04:33):
wonderful time.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
Lying down glad I've never flown business was it just amazing.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
You?

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Because we were only discussed that morning? Did the show
from the airport? How if you won the million dollars
with a million dollar suburb, would you start flying business
class everywhere for those troops?

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, if you had a.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
No, we're laughing about it because we were given this
awesome opportunity. But there are people every day who make choices.
I am sure there is a family listening to us
right now where someone has bought a business class seat
and left their family in economy. I am sure that
there is an opportunity where one person had an origin ticket, yes,

(05:16):
and had to pick their favorite child.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Have you ever had upgrade guilt? Or do you not
even feel the guilt? Do you just go straight up
the front and get bye bye?

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Fourteen hours thirteen six five, Get.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Involved with the show. Have you had upgrade guilt? Tell
us about it right now. It's kiss ninety seven to three.
They were talking about times you got upgraded because the
three of us got upgraded on the flight over here
up to the lie down seats and business class.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
And someone had to miss out. Unfortunately, because there was
only four.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
There wasn't enough spots for Ali.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Ali is our boss Alana in our news room. You
have had a similar situation, have you when you left
someone behind? On thirteen one oh six five?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Well, it was actually another America story. I went to
America with my cousins a couple of years ago. So
there was three of us, so me and my cousins
Isabell and Priscilla, and we really wanted to go see
Jimmy Kimmel while we were in LA Because you have
to apply, but you only get a double pass, so
two of us had to apply so we could get
two double passes. There were three of us. Anyway, there's
obviously a lot of James Is, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon,

(06:13):
James Corden in the TV show World. And my cousin
thought she was applying for James Corden, so she said,
I love your carpool karaoke or whatever. Anyway, didn't get
a double pass because they're so easy to get if
you just apply. And so there was two tickets for
the three of us, and you know, I got the
double pass, so I'm like, well, I'm coming. And my

(06:34):
my other two cousins, who were sisters, the one who
actually put in the bad entry, was like, no, I'm going.
I want to go. So our third cousin, who you know,
had done nothing wrong, she pulled the short stow. She's
walking around l As for hours on her own. Watched Yeah,
we watched dual Leper. It was yeah, so yeah, she

(06:58):
just had to walk around the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
All do on that application is not mentioned someone else's.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Show.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
This segment's awesome.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Thirteen one oh six five. Hey, look, why don't we
throw a crumb and Wildlife Sanctuary family pass if you
are willing to admit when you've left someone behind, and
I have a question for you too.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
You have a song to think about it.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Okay, would you leave your partners in economy if there
was one upgrade?

Speaker 8 (07:34):
No?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Why? Why do you lie? Corio? I couldn't do that.
You would say, no, we'll both stay there. Do you
want to hang on? Hang on? Do you want to
take it?

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Yeah, you'd flip it and she would take it probably
go yes, Kip, Look.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
No, here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
I know that I would get so much more enjoyment
out of the business class than she, because I'm bigger,
and I like I like watching movies, and I don't
sleep sitting up.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
She could do all of those things. She has your part,
but she has a shift.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Is the mother of your child.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
She has a gift that enables her to enjoy Economy
class in a way that I can't.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
But see, I would look at both eye a spare
seat next year.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yeah that's right.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
She also then by by me moving up the front,
then gets a spare seat.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
You wouldn't even feel guilty. I know you. I know
what you would.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Prove, just like I was with Ali I take her
back slippers and tell her how nice the steak was.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
James and Red Bank planes whenever you left someone behind.

Speaker 7 (08:41):
Hey, Rob Corey, you're gonna like this one mate, last
minute Origin tickets a few years ago with a maid,
just me and him. And then got a call from
a boss a couple of minutes later saying he's got
a call for box going and he invited me up,
but there was only room for me, so I made
the excuse to go into the toilet, which my mate

(09:02):
came back and I was like, mate, I'm not feeling well.
I'm going to have to leave obliterated with my boss
up in the corporate book.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
That's actually not a bad way to do it, though.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
You get busted. Thirteen one sixty five. Carrie of burbungaris
to what happened.

Speaker 8 (09:23):
I was on an airplane with my brand new husband
and there was one not graade available, so I went
to business class.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Are you talking without hesitation? On a honeymoon?

Speaker 8 (09:36):
As well? That was a great on a honeymoon.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
And how did he feel about it?

Speaker 6 (09:42):
It was fine.

Speaker 8 (09:43):
We were nineteen. It was the chance of a lifetime,
so yeah, it was amazing.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Are you still married?

Speaker 6 (09:49):
Carrie.

Speaker 8 (09:49):
Yeah, we are since nineteen nineteen.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Wow, look at that. That is impressive.

Speaker 8 (09:55):
I can.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
And just for your honesty, we're going to send you
to a cram And Wildlife sanctuary.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
We've got a family pass for you.

Speaker 7 (10:04):
Oh, thank you. That's great.
