Speaker 1 (00:12):
I heard podcasts, hear more kiss podcasts, playlists, and listen
live on the free.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Rominie kiv Now with Correo. It's the podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
We're celebrating the show that has been over the last
couple of years.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Forever ever.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
Taken bets on how soon or cry.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
Lost my bet.

Speaker 6 (00:46):
I said Monday, You've done well.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
This did really well, and I'm in a great mood.
I had a huge meditation. No, I've only had half
of one, Okay, but I had a meditation overnight. And
we are all stepping into our destiny.

Speaker 6 (01:01):
Yes, indeed, before we step forward, what has happened this.

Speaker 7 (01:10):
Year with Robin, Kipp and Corey.

Speaker 8 (01:12):
But one thing happened more than anything else.

Speaker 7 (01:18):
He would not stop singing.

Speaker 9 (01:21):
Loud for Christmas. Yeah, Early Street.

Speaker 8 (01:29):
To believe, reckon Freeze, and you'd never know when the
next tune was coming.

Speaker 7 (01:39):
Like during Hide and Seek when.

Speaker 8 (01:40):
Robin, Kipp and Corey got taken into hiding and had
to be together twenty four seven till they were found.

Speaker 6 (01:46):
Oh my goodness, it's happening. Robin is being taken.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
It's up to you, mate.

Speaker 9 (01:53):
Someone pushed the buttons for me.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
How hang on, come back in.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
It's on Buzzy Come Fight Us God.

Speaker 8 (01:59):
Whilst in hiding, Robin Kipp and Corey decided to do
a live stream.

Speaker 10 (02:07):
We were so strong.

Speaker 8 (02:10):
Yeah, it turns into a bit of an impromptu concert.
And that's not the only time Corey's burst into song.
Earlier this year, Corey took on a big challenge in
order to see the Backstreet Boys live at the Sphere
in Vegas.

Speaker 11 (02:22):
If you become a Backstreet Boy, learn the move, sing the.

Speaker 7 (02:26):
Songs, we will go to vaga.

Speaker 8 (02:27):
So he took vocal lessons, got the outfit, and even
recorded his own Backstreet Boy mash up and video clips right. Luckily,

(02:49):
it was all worth it, because not only did Corey
see the Backstreet Boys Live at the Sphere, the guys
even scored an interview with Nick Carter and Brian Latrelle.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Boys, we have to say, what a sensational show.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
And it was so good. It was so good.

Speaker 9 (03:12):
Appreciate thank you, Yeah we heard you guys watch it.

Speaker 8 (03:15):
Robin KIVV and Corey clearly love singing so much that
they do a segment every Friday called What's My Scene?

Speaker 7 (03:20):
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl?

Speaker 2 (03:22):
The girl who has everything?

Speaker 5 (03:26):
Ghost Cuttle look at there's twelve specials.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
I'm told, how many wonders can one cabin.

Speaker 12 (03:38):
Doing this.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Shot?

Speaker 7 (03:47):
It's a Chester book, this opport, we get it. It's
a lot of fun.

Speaker 8 (03:54):
But sometimes kipping Corey maybe take things a little too far,
Like in the middle of a tense, high stakes cash competition,
is that really the moment to break into song?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Five hundred bucks you can walk away with or you
can risk it for a thousand. Don't answer yet, have
some thinking music.

Speaker 9 (04:09):
You got.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
No, when.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
No, when the no, when the run?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
You never down your money.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
When you're sitting at the table, There'll be time enough
to count.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
It's my favorite part of the morning.

Speaker 8 (04:34):
That sometimes you do just have to sing, Like when
you're at Brisbane's biggest birthday party.

Speaker 10 (04:46):
Yes, Brisbane's biggest birthday part.

Speaker 8 (04:50):
This year, Kiss ninety seven three celebrated a huge birthday
and Corey was put in charge of organizing the whole thing,
but nine year old Mackenzie wasn't impressed because Lang. Thankfully,
with a little help, Corey actually pulled it off and
it turns out pretty great.

Speaker 13 (05:08):
I'm party from stradi and this is the biggest party
in Brisbane.

Speaker 14 (05:12):
My favorite has to have been the obstacle forsses.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Do you have a good time at the party?

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Yeah? What you play?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Park under?

Speaker 12 (05:21):
Hi?

Speaker 15 (05:22):
Right?

Speaker 9 (05:22):
Probably the rock line?

Speaker 10 (05:24):
Out of ten?

Speaker 5 (05:25):
What would you give Corey for his party planning?

Speaker 8 (05:28):
Ten? Corey may have gotten a ten for his party planning,
but that doesn't mean he gets a ten out of
ten for his singing.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
But don't worry.

Speaker 8 (05:35):
I'm sure he'll give it one last crack with a
final song, right guys, Yes, oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Too well but wonderful Karen in production.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Yes, true.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
We do have to give a special shout out to
Karen who has done the hardest work for today's show
because she's the one who's been putting together all the
best bits.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
And she's also leaving.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yeah, her job's finished at the end of the year
as well, and she's had to go through all that
stuff and find best bits, look good, sound good. Yes,
thank you so much, so much amazing. You have a
free mimosa. Go on just.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Now with Choreos the podcast.

Speaker 8 (06:14):
With Robin Kipp and Coriotes.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
On the final show. It is the final what's my scene?
We've been reenacting classic moments in film over the years
and we're try to wrap it up with one of
the worst endings ever, which was from The Sopranos.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Yes, Yes, the final episode, because this was such an
iconic series that I think went for nine series and
people were so invested in Tony.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
Soprano and then it ended badly. But Alana is our.

Speaker 11 (06:45):
Narrator, Hello Yeah, And unfortunately there are spoilers in there
for anyone who haven't.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
You've had twenty years.

Speaker 11 (06:52):
So The Sopranos follows New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano
as he juggles the violent demands of his criminal organization
with the pressures of family life, all while secretly attending
therapy to manage his panic attacks and inner turmoil. It
ultimately portrays the cost of power and identity in the
mob world, ending with its iconic, ambiguous finale, So Robin

(07:17):
will play Carmelo Soprano, Corey is aj Soprano, kid the Child,
and kid Tony Soprano, Who's the Yeah? Finale shows Tony
in a diner as tension builds, then the screen cuts
to black without explanation. Fans were frustrated because it offered

(07:40):
no clear answer about whether he lived or died. Some
saw it as a brilliant ambiguity. Others felt it lacked
the closure the series deserved.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Okay, how was work today?

Speaker 16 (07:50):
All I'm getting is getting coffee and placing inglish phone calls.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
You may not realize it, but you're making contacts.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
It's an entry level job.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
So buck up right, focus on the good times.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Don't be sarcastic.

Speaker 9 (08:05):
But isn't that what you said one time? Try to
remember the times that were good?

Speaker 3 (08:10):
I did?

Speaker 4 (08:11):
Yeah, well it's true.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I guess again.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Let's see that.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
It's such a great song. And then we had jumped.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Out to kill it. Just a small town girl.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Living in a lonely world.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
She took them midnight Traino and.

Speaker 15 (08:39):

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Don't sup believe?

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Go? Scene now with Correos the podcast.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Free last show ever today in celebration of the last
few years.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Yes, so we've all been allowed to pick our favorite bits,
and I've picked three bits, two of which are pretty
much to scrap it on kipping. But let me start
with the one that truly proved to me that radio
was still relevant in this country, despite all the changes,
despite social media. And it was when we discovered that
random Sizzler machine and over two thousand people in a

(10:58):
week stop their busy morning to come and get some
cheesy toast.

Speaker 11 (11:04):
Robin and Kiff asked Brisbane, Hey, guys, what are you missing?

Speaker 1 (11:09):
So many people responded with the same answer, and that
was Sizzler.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Yeah, and particularly cheesy toast. Then we had this call
from Melissa at Logan Reserve.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
A guy in Dalfink is bringing out his own version
of cheezy toast.

Speaker 7 (11:22):
He's serving it up for free between the tenth.

Speaker 19 (11:25):
And the sixteenth of jum So we decided to take
matters into our own hands.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
How would you feel if you opened early for us
on Monday morning and anyone who wants cheese toast can
come and have some.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Well, Robin did, okay? You ready?

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Let's see if you can hear the crunch. Okay, you
toasted exactly like.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
We took it to the streets and this.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Lovely lady has pulled one high.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
What's your name?

Speaker 5 (11:52):
My name's Louise, and Louise, what.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Do you think.

Speaker 7 (11:54):
Oh, it's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
It's about time I got it back.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
Yeah. That it culminated in like a pop up store's
insane national news.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
It was so fun.

Speaker 12 (12:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
My second one is my hard launch of my wonderful
boyfriend Olivier, who is actually just sitting outside of the
studio this.

Speaker 5 (12:14):
Yeah, he was called Waffles at the time, a nickname
he hates and now his eyeball and kids.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
It's only because you thought. You didn't give us a
lot of clues. You just said he was Belgian and so,
and I think it was a listener that suggested the
nickname Waffle. And when you hate a nickname in Australia,
it makes it stick.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
That's how we were.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
So I had been teasing that I was dating a new,
wonderful guy and he was very important in my life,
and we.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
Decided to do a stitch up on Kip.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
So what we did was tell him that a client
was coming in and this was a very important client
from shingle In and that Kip and Keep's really good
at this, like when clients come in, he.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
Really goes over the top to show the board and
you know, like and this is that.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
And Olivia, because he has a French Belgian accent, was
just nodding and not saying and I could not make
eye contact with him.

Speaker 5 (13:04):
But then we did this to Kip.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
You know how I'm going on a weekend with my
boyfriend Waffles. Yes, he's you know, drives a motorbike.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Yes, and yeah, everything everything's working out so far. What
they just started kissing? What the that's Oh my god?

Speaker 4 (13:23):
Is that Waffles? Far out?

Speaker 3 (13:27):
You got me good?

Speaker 2 (13:30):
You got me good?

Speaker 3 (13:35):
I honestly thought you just started patching a client. I
was like, far out, we're really trying to get business.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
It didn't work, but.

Speaker 11 (13:45):
Yeah, you go so.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
Was classic.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
And the other one, which is just kind of cool
because we do have our family coming in and out
today and this was the Mum.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
I'm going to cry because I was so excited.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
It was just October twentieth and I didn't know that
you were going to do something amazing.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Yeah, we couldn't talk about it. At the time, but
you said this was going to be a great day.

Speaker 10 (14:13):
It's going to be amazing.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
I've just been saying this all week, that the twentieth
of October, which is today, is going to be an
auspicious day.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
And you had no idea what was happening in my life.
But that day was our very first round of IVY.
That day was the day we went in to insert
the egg in Tonaomi and hope that she felt pregnant.
That was on the twentieth of October.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
And she did, and she did, and that little baby
is going to be in with us later in the
studio was teen months old.

Speaker 9 (14:42):
I didn't realize, but that's a special day. I got
bored into this world.

Speaker 5 (14:45):
Too, was born on the twentieth of.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
An aspicious day.

Speaker 16 (14:49):
Indeed, now you remember if the rest of your life
when you look at that child, you look that was
on goring birthday.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
You can so much.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
You didn't get any fun out of that day.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
I did.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
It was a syringe that girl y.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yeah, five minutes in a little booth.

Speaker 9 (15:08):
There was no sweating involved.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
Please don't tell me you were thinking of Cory.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
What do you have to make a gross now with
this podcast, it's our last show ever, and I just
was just thinking, we're going to have a lot of
people to try and thank today, and rather than trying
to jam them all in at five to nine at
the end of the show, let's thank some of the

(15:37):
people now.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Yes, because when there are ten people that go to
make up this shoots show, ten extraordinary people, and seven
of them lost their jobs with us, and so we
need to do some.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
Huge thank yous, and I love you. If the only
way you can do this is alphabetic.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Click, well I figured that way. There's no favorites or
just work down the alphabet. So first is Alana in
our news. Alana is still going to be here next year,
which is great news. That familiar voice and your lovely ye.

Speaker 11 (16:07):
Yeah, it's going to be really sad, like we'll miss
you so much. And you guys bring so much joy
to their place.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
And can I tell you before you begin, I've been
doing this for a very long time. You are excellent.
You are excellent. I have loved working with you. You're
the best, you really are. Your ability, your ability is brilliant.
But you're also so so easy to stop being usy
and coming to adaptable.

Speaker 9 (16:34):
Raise your raise, kip up a bit like you really
bring him to your level.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
And let's not just talk about how high you push Cory.

Speaker 9 (16:41):
Yes, before I became here, you know I've not her
voice from him.

Speaker 13 (16:48):
Yeah, when I when Corey started, I used to do
four ro o in Rockhampton like a little and he's like,
sound really familiar and apparently he heard me, like on
a tractor somewhere.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
And so thank you, thanks everything you brought to the show.
And next alphabetically is Ali.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
Ali is our boss.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
I also lost her job here, but she is going
on to bigger and better things as a general manager
at a wooman Gong radio.

Speaker 9 (17:19):
You thank your boss and you say you're going to
miss him.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
Are you going to miss the Corey?

Speaker 16 (17:24):
Yeah, Well she's made actually my life a bit easier
this year, if I'm honest.

Speaker 9 (17:28):
Made it hard. I must say, make it easy.

Speaker 16 (17:30):
You push my partons a lot this year, and I'll
push your so it's fair. But yes, I have to
say thank you so much for well bring them into
the team for one. But yeah, you've actually helped a lot,
So thanks, thank you, guys.

Speaker 10 (17:45):
I am going to miss you a lot.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Okay, Cory's tearing up, mate.

Speaker 9 (17:53):
Yes, this year, I'm just I'm just filthy that we've
that we're not going to be here and you have been.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
You've had I think the worst job Ali in that
you've been here in between the powers that be down
in Sydney trying to tell us to be different and
you've had to somehow go into our meetings and hey, guys,
keep doing what you're doing and then be that buffer
in between. Thank you very much for being that buffer. Yes,
we've loved having you as our producer and boss.

Speaker 5 (18:22):
It's been an absolute pleasure out.

Speaker 9 (18:23):
I'm going to miss you a lot.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
And the last one, the next thing, the app we'll
do some more later. But Claire, who is also has
come on sort of more recently as a producer of.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
One of the great gun producers, and she's staying. Yes,
So Claire, you will speak to next year in then
you whatever this show is going to be, be nice
to her.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Please.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
She's a very kind, loving human and she won't deserve
some of the stuff that's going to come to her.

Speaker 5 (18:49):
And we love her and we say thank you.

Speaker 20 (18:52):
Thank you, guys.

Speaker 12 (18:52):
I know I haven't been here long, but you guys
are an amazing team and I'm going to miss you terribly.

Speaker 16 (18:57):
Yeah, you made me realize this job is a lot
more professional because you're always on to me, always keeping me.

Speaker 5 (19:03):
Actually, you know, they do probably need to apologize.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
I was a bit rough with you yesterday. She can
be a little mumsy, all right, So thank you. And
we've got some family. I believe that we want to
get involved next, so just get the tissues ready.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Robin now the podcast.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Normally normally of a Friday, we get Corey to wrap
up the week that was with the weekly dose of votes,
but he is a big one.

Speaker 7 (19:35):
With Robin, Kip and Corio, it's your year's dose of votes.

Speaker 8 (19:43):
This has been a huge year with Robin, Kipp and Corey.
They laughed, they cried, and they did a lot of
things outside of their comfort zone, like when Corey decided
that hand Kipps should both walk the runway at the
Brisbane Fashion Festival.

Speaker 5 (19:58):
He wants to model and walk.

Speaker 8 (20:02):
They had some absolutely amazing suits organized for them by Manzillo.

Speaker 7 (20:07):
It's going to look like going to Met Carla.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
For males.

Speaker 8 (20:12):
And they opened up about their pre show nerves.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
An ugly kid can't be your body that you're worried
about my face.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
Yeah, well for me, it is my body. The idea
of eight hundred people looking at me now I'm thinking
about it's like it's really daunting.

Speaker 7 (20:28):
But in the end they got up there and owned
that runway.

Speaker 9 (20:33):
It was so quiet and then it just it went
so loud, the crowded crowd.

Speaker 7 (20:37):
Because we were screaming like banshees. But it wasn't all
glots and glamour for Kip and Corey.

Speaker 8 (20:42):
When Sandy from board Hill's Kids reached out, they rolled
up their sleeves to help because she'd been struggling following
an accident in her kitchen.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
Had a full hip transplant.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Wow, hip replacement.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
Have you been living because you're a single parent.

Speaker 9 (20:56):
Yeah, it was like.

Speaker 8 (20:58):
Really hard, like I felt like a burden, dear kids.
And because we knew Sandy's garden was very important to her,
we decided to get some help from Brooks Blomes and
do it.

Speaker 7 (21:10):
Up like Sandy had always envisioned. And the smile on.

Speaker 5 (21:13):
Your face now is just the best. I'd like to
thank everybody. Kiss This means so much to me and who.

Speaker 7 (21:20):
Could forget When Robin, Kip and Corey tried to give away.

Speaker 8 (21:24):
Michelle of Karendale had to pick one of one hundred
locked numbers.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
Are you clear on your number?

Speaker 8 (21:31):
One?

Speaker 1 (21:32):
There's one person who is just my biggest blessing, and
that is my husband.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
That looks like locker number twenty eight?

Speaker 21 (21:39):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (21:39):
If you got twenty eight.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Oh, you're not lucky it.

Speaker 7 (21:44):
So where was that cheeky million hiding.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
Forty two.

Speaker 8 (21:49):
For you?

Speaker 20 (21:49):
Just said?

Speaker 3 (21:50):
I said that your husband Tiger's Guide to the Galaxy
was it's the only number you could ever pick.

Speaker 8 (21:56):
We've also gotten a bit wild this year with some
of our confessions for cash.

Speaker 20 (22:02):
Five years ago, I accidentally committed elin manslaughter.

Speaker 7 (22:07):
I ran over her cat.

Speaker 8 (22:08):
This was my girlfriend everything.

Speaker 22 (22:11):
I don't quite feel or necessarily have the same capacity
for emotions as other people.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
I don't necessarily experience guilt the same way that other
people do.

Speaker 7 (22:19):
I uploaded an adult video to my daughter's Google account
of state of mind.

Speaker 8 (22:25):
Not a single prom Now is anyone.

Speaker 11 (22:27):
Wearing any clothes?

Speaker 12 (22:28):
Oh my?

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Oh so not just you?

Speaker 18 (22:31):
No?

Speaker 7 (22:31):
I had three other conveanions.

Speaker 8 (22:34):
Yeah, something should maybe just stay secret. But one thing
that definitely wasn't a secret was Corey's little league.

Speaker 11 (22:41):
And I anticipated match to the weekend was actually between
the Dino Knights and the King of Moons.

Speaker 16 (22:48):
It all started from Gunna door and junior clinics and
just seeing the kids around eleven and twelve years are
really having too much pressure themselves, and I thought, why
not try and start a concept where it's all about
enjoyment and it's all about learning basive skills.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
This will be the final player of the game.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
Oh and also I'd have won this, haven't I?

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Someone tell me to school.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
No one knew who won or lost.

Speaker 9 (23:11):
The first was the kids were just having fun.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
I think some of them thought the best bit was
the unlimited purple gatoray that was smashing it.

Speaker 8 (23:19):
And when the Prime Minister came into the studio, things
got very very serious because Kip and Corey brought their
puppies in to predict who would win the federal election.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
I'm going to find out what just so you can
go for okay, she's got Okay, We're going to find
out which one mate Marlon goes for it labor as well. Well.

Speaker 8 (23:41):
That was one correct prediction, but could they do it
again for the state of origin.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
She's got.

Speaker 8 (23:49):
Wonderful, so Robin, Kip and Corey from your Kiss ninety
seven to three, fam, we want to thank you for
an amazing Yeah, thank you for all the laughs and
the love.

Speaker 7 (23:59):
And don't worry, Kip, we know your missus too.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Produced so much because I don't know how to live.
That's a true story, to be the most lost everyone,
they are people to help me. Now we've got some
messages from family coming up of yours tearing up now.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Robin Hi, now with the pot.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
It's our final show ever, and some of our family
have put together messages. Now none of us have heard these.
I don't know who's on these messages. I know that
they've been organized by our wonderful producers, and I know
that we're kicking off with your family, Corey, and I
think because I just listened to the starters, I think
it's Teag and your lovely wife kicking off and no

(24:49):
doubt going to be Monte I'd say and finished.

Speaker 20 (24:54):
I just want to say how incredibly proud I am
of everything you've achieved this year. You took a huge
step out of your comfort zone, and your determination and
willingness to try something new has truly made me proud.
I am looking forward to seeing what comes next for you.
I'll admit I'm also quietly looking forward to not having
to do school drop off for the next two weeks.
The three thirty am alarm can be officially turned off.

(25:17):
All my love to the three of you. Well done, team.

Speaker 19 (25:20):
I am really proud of you. Dad can't wait to
hold your hand and walk into school in the morning again.
Mum thinks you might take over making lunches too.

Speaker 5 (25:34):
We love you.

Speaker 14 (25:35):
I'm glad.

Speaker 7 (25:37):
I RB. That's a lot, isn't it.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Oh, well done tee And that's how cool that. You know,
Mind is excited you're going to be taking in school.
That's awesome.

Speaker 9 (25:51):
She hasn't been saying that. Yes, no, it's it's nice.
It's you know there, well I do it.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
So yeah, it's sad. Now you are hold or you're
ready to go. Okay, So so this I'll do my
fan for my fan. So I'm guessing that this is
going to be Miaomi and probably RAF.

Speaker 14 (26:16):
I love you, Dad, I'm very, very proud of you
doing a lot of hard work at the radio. We
are going to see you at drop off and maybe
see Leanna at her kindy and maybe we could all
go together and meet each other. At school or the

(26:37):
other choice is we can all go and get ice
cream on the last day of your work.

Speaker 18 (26:43):
I love you, Dad, Sienna. Are you proud of dadda daddy?
Can you say yay, heybu, happy last day? Congrats on
your time at KISS. You've had such a long career
and you should be so so proud of that, because
we certainly are. We hope you enjoyed your last day,

(27:04):
and I'm really looking forward to having you at home.

Speaker 5 (27:06):
It's just going to be so great.

Speaker 7 (27:10):
See and it says she is too.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
It's a very good translating what say.

Speaker 12 (27:18):
Okay, hey mum, it's been here, your eldest and obvious
favorite son. Wanted to do a quick message to let
you know that I couldn't be more proud of you
and to call you my mum. You've had a stella
Korean radio, and I can absolutely say that you've made
a drastic impact to listeners and the people around you
in the best way possible. I know my brothers and
I would not be the men we are today if

(27:39):
it wasn't for you and your commitment to radio. I
love you very much and I'm excited for your next
chapter in twenty twenty six. Hey Mom, it's your favorite
medis on and I just wanted to say this message
to let you know how proud of you we all are,
and especially me for the amazing commitment and sacrifice you've
given to radio.

Speaker 22 (27:53):
For over thirty years.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Your an inspiration to so many in Brisbane and Australia.

Speaker 14 (27:57):
And you'll be truly sorely missed.

Speaker 9 (27:58):
Big things are coming for you.

Speaker 18 (27:59):
Love your boys.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Hey Mum, Piper, Brisbane and and all of us.

Speaker 8 (28:03):
You're going to miss hearing you on the radio.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Very very excited as to wat's the calm aspecial with
the book and stuff, and looking forward to having you back.

Speaker 21 (28:12):
Hey, Robin, it's Olivia here. I'll just step away from
the mic and to whatever comes next. Remember, you have
made an incredible impact on so many listeners.

Speaker 22 (28:23):
It's all been a gift. Even through this chapters disclosing,
there is a whole new adventure waiting for you. So
here's to the next big things and no I'm churning
you all the steps of the way.

Speaker 7 (28:36):
I love you, Tom.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
They slammed the door I didn't have the courage to close,
and those people are the reason why I've done what
I've done and succeeded the way that I have.

Speaker 5 (28:50):
And I'm so sad to not spend time with you guys.
I'm also slightly released.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
We gave you statue, little man, I get to tell.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
I'll sign it.

Speaker 18 (29:13):
You know what.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
We spend more time together than we do with the
people you just heard. Yeah, and we know more about
each other sometimes than those people do. And it's wrong
that we're not being.

Speaker 5 (29:25):
Together next year. But far out we've had a cracking time.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Yeah, And Olivia said, so, well, it's been a gift,
you know what I mean. Like I when I got
into radio, I thought maybe one or two years, and
I've had thirty and it's been so much fun. And
this last few years has been just the most fun.

Speaker 9 (29:42):
Yeah, I've had one.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
So you're the problems now with COO podcast.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
Last show ever and so we've been reliving some of
the highlights over the last couple of hours and it's
my highlight time right now right.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
Very secret.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
Well, I wanted one of my favorite bits, which I
in my mind was hilarious but failed was remember when
we did this was I think before you came Corey,
we did Halloween. We were chopping pineapples, chopping pineapples like
pumpkins interfaces, and I pretended and I had like a

(30:31):
fake blood inside glove. I pretended to have like really
cut myself badly, blood pouring out. I'm swearing on air,
and I thought, this is going to be such a
great prank. Robin cried so much because you were really
generally want you.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
Don't understand that being blindsided for me is like, you know,
it's a trigger from all the trauma of the last
ten years.

Speaker 5 (30:51):
And I genuinely thought you were hurt.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
And I was getting so upset that no one was
doing anything because everyone else knew about the joke.

Speaker 5 (30:58):
And then I'm and then I just cried cry.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
So I learned then that Robin's not the person to
PreK and Corey is so cory. You love country music,
and when you found when you found out that Luke
Comes was coming to town, you were so very, very excited.

Speaker 9 (31:15):
I was as happy as I was for a long time.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
And we tried our best to get the real Luke Comes,
and when we couldn't, we just found someone who sounded
reasonably similar and told you that you were doing your
first one on one interview with Luke Combs and we
are very excited.

Speaker 16 (31:32):
To welcome Luke Combs to the show. We actually got
your Queensland jersey. We're going to get your name put
on the back of it too.

Speaker 8 (31:42):
You also come backstage and give it to me backstage.

Speaker 7 (31:44):
And we'll Oh man, I'll wear it out there.

Speaker 8 (31:46):
Man.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
Oh, my dad would be.

Speaker 9 (31:50):
You don't understand.

Speaker 7 (31:50):
The crowd will go berserve.

Speaker 6 (31:52):
I'm wearing that out on tea.

Speaker 9 (31:54):
Oh man, I know you have had your two boys.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
I don't want any questions about my family.

Speaker 17 (32:01):
Sorry, my bids and it's not cool.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
Man, he's hung up. Sorry, he lurky got us there, mate, I'm.

Speaker 13 (32:07):
Not actually Luke Colmes.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
I'm justin from my country.

Speaker 23 (32:09):
Of I've forgotten that he pretended that you annoyed him
so much, and you were relieved to find.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Out it wasn't Luke so in the end, but then
I was feeling that I didn't show your my own
You drank out of your own shoe.

Speaker 5 (32:34):
It was disgusting.

Speaker 16 (32:36):
I first got to do a show like what seven
in the morning on a radio show. Yeah you're a
nice person.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
Yeah you learn never to trust us again.

Speaker 5 (32:48):
And now you're going off to do a podcast.

Speaker 18 (32:50):
Ye.

Speaker 4 (32:51):
Yeah, you idiots.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
Now with Coyo Podcast, we figured we've got so many
people to thank as we wrap up the show that
we don't want to try and jam it all into
five to nine. So we're thanking people throughout the show.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
Yes, and these are the guys that make this show work.
There are ten of us that put this show together,
and seven of us lost our jobs, and so we
want to do a massive shout out. We've done three
of our producers and our boss, but to Shanny, who's
ahead of our fun and games department.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
She honestly, that woman has the patience.

Speaker 12 (33:29):
I know.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
She's the one that's always working out the games and
the prizes and how and she's always coming in and
did you remember to thank the good people at pillow
Talk and all those things? And she is such a
hard worker. The only thing I will say about Shanne
is that I'm so confident that she's going to get
a job after this, because like she's the most horrible
person here, she's so good and what she does.

Speaker 5 (33:48):
Yeah, So Shanny, we love you. We're so grateful to you.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
Thank you for all the extraordinary Thank.

Speaker 16 (33:54):
You for organizing all those those you know, those those
fun games and the little League for the kids and
HiPE and Seek, but little League definitely because those kids
would have the wouldn't have that amount of fun without
your help.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
So thank you and for humoring me when I wanted
to talk about what play says look like that was
zombie proof. We always discussed the pencils wor'd high enough
and that's how we bonded. And one more we've got
to thank is Drew. And Drew is assistant music prodector.
What is he? Assistant music something.

Speaker 16 (34:28):
Protector, protector's protector.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Thank you, But Drew, you're going to hear Drew's voice
over the next couple of weeks, and we should make
sure that you know it's not Drew's fault that we're
going Drew's. He's filling in for a couple of weeks.
Please be kind of. Drew's a lovely bloke.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
He's like our operations manager, and he's staying next year
and he will you will always hear him as the
backup guy. He's an extraordinary individual who works super super
hard and we're so grateful to him. So thank you
so much.

Speaker 3 (34:57):
Honestly, I'm just a.

Speaker 16 (34:59):
Little bit I'm a little bit more personally grateful just
with all the help he's given me every afternoon, ringing
me going through my brakes, help me out. And yeah,
really the last five months has really helped me excel
a bit further than what I thought I was ever
going to get in the show, So thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
He's a great supporter and he's honestly the best music
predector in the business.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
He's also a massive Broncos fan, so that probably helps you.

Speaker 3 (35:26):
This is happening, by the way, Oh my goodness, it's not.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
Yes, it is well in the camera.

Speaker 7 (35:32):
Never heard on ninety seven three before or again ron.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
Again Now with Coos Podcast.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
It's our last show ever. Keep those texts coming through
as well. We are reading them all for nine seven
three nine seven three. We got this one from Melanie
who said I can't get into the shower because I
don't want to miss anything. I'm going to be late
to work. I'm going to miss you guys so much.
And for you, Melanie, we've got two hundred dollars to
spend at Pure Indulgence. Here you can say thirty percent

(36:03):
off all Uva and Dermalogical skincare this week only at
Pure Indulgence. Stuck up and say for Christmas.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
We also have been taking this morning to say thank
you to our team because there's ten people that put
this show together and seven of them lost their jobs
when we did and everyone is going on to bigger
and better things. I can absolutely vouch for that. We
want to say huge thank you to Karen, who is
our audio producer, does extraordinary work behind the scenes. Any

(36:33):
montage you hear, any kind of comedic intro, any stuff
that requires audio. She could be ripping her hair out
and swearing at us, and yes, she just goes quietly
about her business.

Speaker 6 (36:45):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
And we also have Kelsey who does all of our
social media. She's always in here filming us and making
us look as good as possible. She works with what
she can work with.

Speaker 16 (36:58):
Yes, not being in the place I meant to be. Yeah,
but yeah, she loves it when weeks.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
And when we've done things like Hide and Seek. She's
brought a lot of fun to the team too, so
she will be really sorely missed.

Speaker 5 (37:12):
That's it, No, no, and the one and only you
did that on purpose.

Speaker 7 (37:16):
Cory the truly gorgeous and.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
Very pregnant Maddie producer Maddie who has tolerated more than
anything should ever have to.

Speaker 9 (37:25):
Yes, she loved it when I sing and all that.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Sort of so much fun. Yes to have around and yeah,
brilliant at your job. Thank you, Maddie.

Speaker 8 (37:34):
It's been an absolute honor to say the least, so much,
and that includes you, Corey.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
Yes, I'm generally upset that I'm not going to get
to watch you become a mom because you're going to
be so bad, you really are. You're going to kill it.

Speaker 9 (37:50):
And then lo, we're here to help and support and
like the first six months, it's.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Going to be odd.

Speaker 5 (37:53):
Okay, mate, do not take his phone calls.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
And while we're here, can we just give a quick
shout out to Ruthie, our producer who's come back into
say and it's been a huge part of the show.
We love you, Ruthie.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
Yeah, you know what I do.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Yes, And now we're talking about Karen and the work
she does as a producer. Well, she put things like
this together.

Speaker 8 (38:17):
A lot has happened this year with Robin Kipp and Corey,
but one thing happened more than anything else.

Speaker 7 (38:27):
He would not stop singing oh on a loud for Christmas.

Speaker 9 (38:35):
Yeah, ely.

Speaker 8 (38:40):
Well recon freeze, and you'd never know when the next
tune was coming, Like during Hide and Seek when Robin
Kipp and Corey got taken into hiding and had to
be together twenty four seven till they were found.

Speaker 6 (38:55):
Oh my goodness, it's happening. Robin is being taken taken
another man.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
It's up to you, mate, Someone pushed the buttons for me.

Speaker 9 (39:03):
How hang on?

Speaker 2 (39:04):
He come back in?

Speaker 4 (39:05):
It's on, Brizzy, come fight us God.

Speaker 8 (39:08):
Whilst in hiding, Robin Kipp and Corey decided to do
a live stream. Yeah, it turns into a bit of
an impromptu concert. And that's not the only time Corey's
burst into song. Earlier this year, Corey took on a
big challenge in order to see the Backstreet Boys live

(39:29):
at the Sphere in Vegas.

Speaker 11 (39:31):
If you become a Backstreet Boy, learn the move, sing
the songs, we will go to Vegas.

Speaker 8 (39:36):
So he took vocal lessons, got the outfit, and even
recorded his own Backstreet Boy mash up and video clips.

Speaker 4 (39:49):
Bastres.

Speaker 7 (39:57):
Luckily, it was all.

Speaker 8 (39:58):
Worth it, because not only did Corey see the Backstreet
Boys live at the Sphere, the guys even scored an
interview with Nick Carter and Brian Latrell.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
Boys, we have to say, what a sensational show. And
it was so good. It was so good.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
Thank you, Yeah we heard you. Guys watched it.

Speaker 8 (40:23):
Robin Kipp and Corey clearly love singing so much that
they do a segment every Friday called What's My Scene?

Speaker 7 (40:29):
Wouldn't you think?

Speaker 15 (40:30):
I'm a girl?

Speaker 7 (40:31):
The girl who wants everything? Remember ghost cuttle look at.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
There's troll specials on told how many one does? Can
one cabin.

Speaker 4 (40:55):
Shut?

Speaker 2 (40:56):
There's a chance to book this up.

Speaker 8 (41:00):
Time.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
We get it.

Speaker 7 (41:02):
It's a lot of fun.

Speaker 8 (41:03):
But sometimes Kipp and Corey maybe take things a little
too far, like in the middle of a tense, high
stakes cash petition, is that really.

Speaker 7 (41:11):
The moment to break into song?

Speaker 3 (41:13):
Five hundred bucks you can walk away with or you
can risk it for a thousand? Don't answer yet, have
some thinking music.

Speaker 12 (41:18):
You got no?

Speaker 2 (41:20):
No? When the fold, no, when the walk.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
No?

Speaker 4 (41:28):
When to run? You net a count your money? When
you're sitting at the table, there will be time account.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
It's my favorite part of the morning every day.

Speaker 8 (41:43):
Sometimes you do just have to sing, like when you're
at Brisbane's biggest birthday party, Frisbee's biggest birthday by this year.
Kiss ninety seven three celebrated a huge birthday and Corey
was put in charge of organizing the whole thing. But

(42:05):
nine year old Mackenzie wasn't impressed.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Nothing heed it off set be as hell Lang.

Speaker 8 (42:12):
Thankfully, with a little help, Corey actually pulled it off
and it turns.

Speaker 7 (42:16):
Out pretty great.

Speaker 19 (42:17):
I'm party from Strati and this is the biggest party
in Brisbane.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
My favorite has to have been the obstacle Bosses.

Speaker 7 (42:25):
Do you have a good time at the party?

Speaker 2 (42:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 19 (42:27):
I play a part under Hi right, probably the.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
Rock on out of ten?

Speaker 5 (42:34):
What would you give Corey for his party planning?

Speaker 8 (42:37):
Ten? And Robin Kipp and Corey couldn't do a final
show without a final song.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
Jim dear.

Speaker 7 (42:56):
So Robin Kip and Corey from your Kiss ninety seven
to three. Bam.

Speaker 8 (43:00):
We want to thank you for an amazing ye, thank
you for all the laughs.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
And the love. Well miss you.

Speaker 5 (43:07):
Whoa whoa, Okay, don't we have one more break?

Speaker 4 (43:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (43:16):
We do.

Speaker 5 (43:17):
We've got the whole stuff in here.

Speaker 3 (43:19):
Yeah, and another popper now I can't see the buttons. Excellent,
We're coming back with more. It's not going to fix
it's all make them worse.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
Now with COO.

Speaker 3 (43:37):
For the last time. This is our final show ever,
and this is our final break ever. Thank you very
much for listening to the show today and for the
last couple of years. It's been. It's been awesome.

Speaker 9 (43:52):
Yeah, thanks for putting up with me for the last
twelve months.

Speaker 16 (43:56):
Thanks for yeah getting involved and being a part of
you know, some great times and a lot of fun.
And thanks to the two years in here for helping
me and guiding me through these last twelve months.

Speaker 3 (44:09):
It's been.

Speaker 16 (44:09):
It's been, Honestly, it's been. It's been so much fun.
I've loved it all and enjoyed so much and I've
learned so much. So thank you both so much for everything.

Speaker 3 (44:19):
I'm sorry this place got to be your first taste
of Radio Corey. It shouldn't be. It shouldn't. It shouldn't. Yeah,
but get two years.

Speaker 16 (44:26):
I really wouldn't just with the two years helping me,
you know on air, it's I wouldn't have wanted anyone else.

Speaker 9 (44:34):
So thank you.

Speaker 3 (44:36):
Yeah, and I'm supremely confident that you're going to be fine.
Just people like you.

Speaker 5 (44:42):
Yeah, you get free stuff wherever you go.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
I want to give you things so you're going to
be fine. And Robin, I know that you've been stressing
about next year. Can I tell you I am even
more confident that you're going to be fine. You're brilliant.
You're brilliant. It was the radio, but at life. So
you're going to be great next year. I I don't
know where you're where you're going to wind up, but

(45:05):
I don't think you know you might be thinking of
next year. I'm heading out into the jungle, but it's
not the jungle.

Speaker 20 (45:11):
You know.

Speaker 3 (45:11):
You've got so many paved things ahead of you. You
can take a train, you know what I mean? Like that,
So you've got so many options available to you. Yeah,
I'm supremely confident that you're going to kick on next year.

Speaker 12 (45:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
It just feels so sad and so stupid that something
so good is being taken off us. But I will say, Brisbane,
that for thirty five plus years you have held me
and Kip and Corey recently aloft and given us your
story and your raw and beautiful honesty. And I would

(45:48):
not have survived without you. My book would not be
written without you, my children would not be raised without you.
And the last two years or even coming back to
kiss has been an extraordinary fun time. And honestly, with
the stuff that I've dealt with over ten years, I
