So as long as he was tall enough he went
on it. He was he is.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I know, he's hot. He's one ten yeah, because they
measured he's a perfect one ten.

And it gets him on all the all the rids
that he can go.

And he was looking he was, you know, he scared.

He was.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah, he was dropping things out of his bum for
a while, but look he was he was having a ball.
But look, so many times I've.
Speaker 4 (01:29):

Movie World and and and all those places and I've
been like, yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Want to go.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Then you know, it's just the roller coaster, the big rollercase,
the big kid. Because I always always making excuse I'm
too tall and too heavy, I'm too big.

Yeah, so well sounds great.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Look, Liam's like we've got to go on that. Apparently
it's just it's nuts comic. Yeah, and I don't know
anything about it went on there. Well wait, you know
we walk up and there's a minute of weight.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
But you know, just time, just enough time for you
to panic. Well we walked. Yeah, we got lucky.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
We got some those fast track things because we're only
because it was raining and grizzly, like there was no
one else really it was. It was actually there were
still people in the like there, like more than I
was expecting because it was raining. Yeah, but the weight
for the lines, I mean, like the wait for the
big rides wasn't It's thirty minutes.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Still, he's just like two hours yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Right, but like we're lucky enough with like we're just
going to buy some fast passes for that one.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Yes, straight at the front as you look.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Like an absolute a walking and then we get to
the front there's no one else there and the lady goes,
did you like the front and leaving myself like, brother, yeah,
why not?
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Never been honest.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Front row front. Now what happened, Well, we didn't.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
I didn't realize that. The first thing is you go
over the hill and then it keeps going and going
until you're pretty much hanging out like as in like
upside down straight down, and then it goes from zero
to one hundred I'm talking, it goes one hundred and
fifteen kilometers an hour this.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Thing, and you're you're exposed about Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Williams like like we're going for you screaming your head
off right and he's going, oh my god, He's like,
is your bummy out of your seat? In my head?
Speaker 3 (03:33):
I'm like, is that all you're thinking about right now?
Is your bummies in the air.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
I'm thinking of my life.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
I'm ducking because I.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Think my head's going to hit everything that we.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Go on there, And I was just like.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
These are different.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
When I was a kid. Yeah, yeah, frightened. It is
not like the bill of Wheeler show it was, and
it says thrill triull level max maximum. And it's not
like you couldn't have just looked up and seen what
you were going to eat, checked it out. I'm not
gonna lie.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
I'm just so much more scared now, Yes, since I've
gotten older, and I look, I'm happy.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
I've got I went on. So you enjoyed the day,
but are goes?
Speaker 4 (04:14):
How was it was?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Put on a brave face, but I got.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
To think it was awesome.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yeah, they had it was a great day.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
So I got to thank for the dro Chase for that.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Whene you put on a brave face for the kids.
Thirteen one oh six five is our number.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Have you ever had that? Maybe you've had to pretend
that you're not.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Afraid of spiders, whatever it is, tell us about thirteen
one o six five. We've got a couple of hundred
bucks to spend at Cogan to give away for the
best stories at thirteen one oh six five. Now, I
didn't a happy day on Saturday, and I took my
little boy Raf and we did the drive through window
at Canton Hill for about an hour. Yeah, he loved
it and he's doing everything that I did. So I'd
(04:52):
give people two straws. I said, there's one straw and
then one for later, because that one's going to disintegrate.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
And then I heard.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Him saying the same thing, little six year old heading
out two straws. And so one of the one of
the people I spoke to a drive through, he'd just
come back from this BMX track. He said, I just
took my boy to a BMX track and I said
where that and told me about it. This is in McGregor.
So I said to Rapha, we should go and have
a crack at that tomorrow. And because he loves his bike,
(05:17):
he's really good in his bike and no training wheels
all that, And so we found ourselves on Sunday with
a little bit of light rain falling. I was still
determined to go.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
So let's go to this BMX trac. How did you
think this was going to end? You know, determined for yourself?
Speaker 1 (05:33):
I said, well, you know, I wanted to do something,
get out of the house, you know, let's go out.
We're going to go and yeah, exercise. So he got
I'm on a mountain bike and he's on his little
BMX and we get to the track and he sees
like all these ramps and jumps and he goes, I'm
not doing that.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Goes, I'm not doing that. That no way, I'm scared.
And I said, oh, there's a I said, there's an
easy one. Let's do the easy one.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
You know when I went down and did a little
roll around the easy one and you do like a
loop back and he said, no, no doing it, And
I said that was said. I said, well, I hang on,
well I'll do What about if I do the medium one?
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Will you do it? He says maybe. So then I go, well,
get rolling down and I'm scared. Now as I do.
As I do the medium one, I'm going up this
ramp thing.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
I come back around and he's going he says, no,
I'm still not. I said, all right, if I do
the expert. If I do the expert, will you do
the easy and he says yes, I will.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Now I find myself I'm at this about to drop
in and I'm not an expert. Do you know?
Speaker 1 (06:37):
When we're watching the BMX and Australia is leading in
BMX around the world at the Olympics, and you see
they're wearing these helmets that belong on someone who's going
to space.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
You know how they wear Yeah, that's because you can hurt.
You can hurt yourself. And so I'm there and pretending
like how you look a round gut. It's fine, mate,
this is not even a panic. And did I go down?
And then I was trying so hard to be brave.
But then I got to like a jump and I
swear I'm like.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
I finished it. I didn't fall off, and I came
back around and I think he saw the beer in
my face and he said, I'm still.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
And we went and then we'd put them back in
the youth and went home.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Langer putting on a break Facebook, Kid's what happens.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Well. Where I lived at Klanger back in the old days,
Alma Park zoo was only a couple of blocks away, and.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Good morning morning.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
So we used to have and your passes and I'd
take the kids to the zoo so mum could have
a break. So we're there and the goenna's in the
little enclosure and if you wiggle your finger, it'll stand
up on its back legs. And this American bloke goes, oh, wow,
what type of animal is that. I sort of looked
around and said, oh yeah, it's just to go ani. Mate. Well,
(07:59):
it's jumped up and latched onto me finger. So here
I am got this meter and a half goenna dangling
off my finger. While I'm trying to haid me two
year old up, He's going, oh no, no, don't do that. Dad.
Finally got it off my finger, which is torn to
shreds by their wrap it up in a bit of
(08:20):
a toilet paper. Just smile at everyone and go, yeah, no,
I'm fine, mate. Take the door to back home to
the wife who sees all the blood and starts freaking
boiled up to get stitched up and a tetanus shut.
After I get stitched up and I'm telling them that
the Indian doctor nails a goenna and has spit me
and they've got bacteria in their teeth. I need a
(08:42):
tetna shut. He looks around me at the end and goes,
and what's a goenna?
Speaker 3 (08:49):
How many stitches? Andrew?
Speaker 4 (08:51):
I got about fifteen?
Speaker 1 (08:53):
Oh man, Well, I love that you're not just being
brave for the kids, but also for the American service,
because you're too they're all good. Two hundred bucks to
spend it Cogan for you Andrew, Well mate, if you've
got any more, we might do some of these latter
