Speaker 3 (00:33):
Good Day, It hit, This game is handled.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
It's Cory's Little.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Cory's Little League made possible by Construction Pathways.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
There's never been a better time for a career in
construction search construction pathways.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
So Corey has had this idea of making sure that
kids are having fun when they're playing rugby league. And
we've had our first training session on Tuesday night at
Davy's Park where we're going to have the big game
on the fifteen.

Speaker 5 (01:01):
Yeah, and it's just more. It's also just like in training,
things that you can do to make it more enjoyable,
like just small things that start talking, communicate, earned just
simple drills to enjoy the game more. And it was good.
It was a good session, I think.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
So while you guys were out on the field, I
was sitting back with the parents and grandparents just watching
as they were watching their kids. And I could see
one grandmother by the name of Kathy, and she was
so super proud of her grandson Rylan. So I had
a chat and found out the most extraordinary story.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
What is it that he was so excited about just
meeting your friends?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Really?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, he's such a good kid. You know, he's got
four year old twin brothers and he's just so doting
with them, you know, eight years difference. Yeah, so yeah,
he's a good kid.

Speaker 6 (01:53):
Well, thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
For driving me, and I hope he has an amazing time.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Oh he will, he'll love it. His mom and dad
get married the front day before, so the honeymoon's off,
are you kidding? Get married on the thirteenth.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
And so what there was used to go on a
honeymoon for a few.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Nights, but I spoilt that for him.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
What you said, they're going to come to their Oh
my goodness, Oh my, what did they think about that?

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Well, they didn't know I nominated him until I got
the phone call.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
And what did they say?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Oh? Good one? Mom and Ryland. We never told Roland nothing.
And the friday he got the call was a show
day up in Clounder. So he's so stokes. He said,
I don't get up at five o'clock for anyone. Yeah,
he's so excited and that he just yeah, he trains

(02:48):
six days a week. Oh my goodness, plus he plays
with Clounder Sharks as well as Clounder State High School.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
And so what's happening with the wedding.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Is he in the wedding? Yes, he's given his momoay. Yeah,
and the twin brothers out of control.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
So that's on the Friday, Yeah, Friday thirteen, and then
no one's join anything until the game on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, and it's okay, celebration.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Hey, here's your honeymoon, come to Cory.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
So the reception, the reception meal is hot chips.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
That sounds that's a big pie.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
And can we also say this family lives in Caloundra.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
They're traveling just for the game. They're traveling a good hour.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
But I love the fact that this has all been
orchestrated by Grandma Kathy. And we haven't actually spoken to
to Nita, who is the mom and the bride to
be good morning, good morning.

Speaker 6 (03:45):
How are you.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
I'm just so I feel so sort of frightened asking
you how do you feel about the fact that your
honeymoon is being postponed for a game of football.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
It's actually been canceled. Now, that's that's totally fine, Like
we will always follow Ryland for whatever you want.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Hang on, you've canceled your wedding.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
No, not the wedding, just the honeymoon.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Okay, okay, still that is the best part.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
What were you going to do?

Speaker 6 (04:13):
We were just going away for a few nights. But
that's okay.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Do you want to go away for a few nights?

Speaker 6 (04:19):
We do, but we'll always follow Ryland around like we've
gone to Gladston before, just the hint to play footy.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I think we can do something about this.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Yeah, sure, in fact, I know we can.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Yeah, I think we have.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
We have. So we want to give you, thanks to
Jess and the team at Hilton Surface Paradise, two nights
accommodation in an executive king room, including evening drinks and cannabis,
as well as breakfast and two massages in their spa.

Speaker 6 (04:52):
Oh that's so lovely.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Well, we can't let you out on your honeymoon for
our foots.

Speaker 6 (05:02):
So we have been together for twelve years anyway, so
it's kind of like just officiating it.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Yeah, yeah, we'll get married, mate, and then well supply
the honeymoon now, whether you want to do it on
the Friday and Saturday, and then you know, Grandma I
mean Grandma put you in this.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
She can take the kids, yes, and.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Then you can meet at Corey's Little League on the
Sunday if you want to, or you can take it
another time.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
Oh, thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
And if Grandma wants to bring the kids to visit
you there, there are like four splash pools everything for
kids at that place as well. So I don't think
you're probably going to get whole weekend, but you can
definitely have a bit.

Speaker 6 (05:39):
Oh, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Absolutely, you're amazing.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
That is you know, your kids must be your world.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
Yeah, they don't mean a bit crazy.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
I was going to say, I remember watching him on
the day and he's very energetic. Your twinkletoes, he's got twinkle.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
Ties are off, he does. And he just loves footy
like he got for high school for footy as well.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
So that's yeah, it looks very handy he does.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
He does.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Well, we'll see you.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
I'm on the first day of your honey moon.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
On the fifteenth of June.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
All right, good on your data.
