and when Dave spoke to her, she was also being catfished,

know your bravery from coming forward, your bravery for allowing
other people to share in your story. Honestly, it's cracked
open something that a lot of people have needed to hear.

Honestly, I do not want anybody else to ever I
know something that is a daily thing these days, unfortunately,
but getting.

Heart strings and toying with them for that long, that's
worse than you know when they scheme you and say,
oh you know there's something wrong with feel internet?

I am so unbelievably grateful. I feel blessed that has
come my way. I feel lighter from that. When I
saw my bank account, I'm nearly fallen over. It was incredible.
And oh, I'll just be honest, I went on the
date last night.

My goodness, you were just like the flip that you've
taken in this last few days is unbelievable. How was it?
Speaker 4 (03:16):
It was actually really lovely. The thing was, it's kind
of more empowering, even though I feel so foolish to
be able to take that ownership and have that power back.

That I can actually do that, like I'm rather shy
and and it's better than being curled up in the
ball and having the blanket pulled over my head and
letting depressions. I pushed myself to get.

Out mate from someone who's doing the online dating thing.

heard to be able to get yourself back out there.

It's not liberating. Actually this time is I'm only seeing
people in a certain kilometer of.

I actually spoke to them on the phone the night
before and made sure you know, like, oh, okay, you're
a real person, and where we were going to meeting
and things like that.

It was like, okay, so yes, you're a local and
I know that area, so awesome.

Can I just ask you one more thing? This other woman,
this other mule. I mean, we would love to be
able to put you two together. And I don't know
if that's going to happen. But if you had a
message for her, what would it be.

I would say that she's been holding on for four years,
which is even harder because the hope it's not there
and you can't hold on for that long. You have
to move on, take ownership of it.

You don't forget you have I have to live a life.

You have to look through the front window. You can't
just keep looking in the reverse window. Put trust back
into yourself. I think it's important You've got to find
happiness and when you find it, you've got to grab
it when you can.
