My Heart podcasts, hear more Kiss podcasts, playlists, and listen
live on the Free Heart.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
And it's time.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
We have just been handed an envelope. This is the
envelope that will change someone's life. We'll put them in
front of a million dollars.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Yeah, we've been talking about this for weeks now, but
somebody is about to have a shot, a real shot
at a million dollars, and we're about to find out
who and what suburb they are from.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Corey has the envelope. Yes, let's come on. What's to day?

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Ha ha ha. We're not telling you. Get in the car.
We're going there now.

Speaker 5 (00:57):
Now, right now, right now.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Right now? Ali, boss, are we going there now?

Speaker 5 (01:03):
O color?

Speaker 3 (01:04):
We can't hear them through the okay, well, engine.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Is rolling car downstairs?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Get in? Where going okay? So it's better not be
the start of another.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
All okay, all right, we'll play jelly roll Alex Warren.
Weve got tickets to jelly Roll later on, by the way,
But anyways, going fine, somebody who's going to have a
shot at a million bucks. We are broadcasting live right
now from the Kiss van heading to the location. We
were given an envelope, just a couple of minutes ago,
just before that song, and we thought it was going
to be the person that's coming in and have a

(01:37):
shot of a million dollars.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Instead it just said, we'll take you there. You are
going to knock on their door.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
So we are now in the kiss.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Man, I'm always in the middle. Well, well, I don't
want to give out.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Think about the sizes, Robin, You're you're almost a child.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
We've got a four foot person by the car, which
gives me more leg cleire.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Our producers driving Kelsey how social social media manager is
in the front seat and the three of us are
in the backseat. We've come out onto McDougall Street.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah, we're in Milton.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah, we're in Milton and we've turned left. We're just
hitting Park Row.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yes, so where we go from here is going to
make a fair difference, she would think if we if
we go left, that's the direction I would normally head
towards home for me, Okay, we are heading down to
Caro Drive and which landa Oh yeah, there's only we
can only go left here, so we're heading toward the
city from here.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
I believe that rules out Milton.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Well, I guess so maybeeah, unless we pulling this very
soon past. You've done that.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Logically thinking you would have to think we're going it'll
be somewhere within sort of forty minutes of here, because
they wouldn't send us somewhere if we weren't going to
get there before the end of the show.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
Yeah, you do, never know.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
They don't always think things through. It's true.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
He has possibly been put on standby coms enough to
nine o'clock. Anyway, Okay we are now.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
Traffic's not too bad heading into the city.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
No, no, And as you say that, we stop yes
along Carra Drive. So if you missed it earlier on
this morning, we gave the rundown on exactly how it's
going to work tomorrow because tomorrow somebody is coming into
our building and they're going to have the shot and
a million bucks.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
So we are on Corrow Drive heading towards the city.
That's all we know.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, what do we do? Well, that's good question.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Now, as we were coming up here, there's a turn
off towards the Sunshine Coast and we're not taking it
on street not going okay.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
South Bank, No, we're not going over there, go between bridge.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Maybe they're avording the toll.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I'll check the field how much fuel we got.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
So still just heading towards the city at this stage,
but we'll update you as we find out what's going on.
But tomorrow morning, somebody is going to have a shot
at a million dollars. And the way that that is
going to work is you'll be the chosen one. We'll
face off with a wall of one hundred locked boxes.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yes, and you get the choice as to which box
you open. So that is a one in one hundred
chance at a million bucks. Now those odds are better
than pretty much anything we can think of.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Hull was one and eight million.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Yep, I think Oslodo was one and sixty two million.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
I did determine that the Karina Leagues Club possibly has
a couple of one hundred people going for the meatrate
at least.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yes, yeah, it's better. You've got a better chance at
a million bucks than I'm winning a meatrate was that
it is massive. So you get to choose the envelopes.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Ninety nine of those envelopes will have nothing, and at
one will have a million dollars and we will have
a sugar Mama.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Sugar Mama on site darting.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah, because the sugar Mama is the only one that knows,
and so we are abiding by the sugar mama's rules
to give you a million.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Bucks and they're not employed by us, so it's completely.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
It was your mill, it's not my million dollars.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Okay, so we are yes, we're heading to that location
now and somebody is going to have a shot. If
you've got a lucky number, by the way, something that
you would definitely pick, you can exous right now for
nine nine seven three nine seven three.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
So we've missed the turn off to Roma Street. We
are now heading towards the Riverside Expressway.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Okay, yes, and it is Chocolate Block, all right. We
could be a couple of days in this, draff.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
We'll see how we go. We are alive from the
kiss bed right now. If you've just tuned in. Instead
of being able to announce who's going to have the
crack and a million dollars tomorrow, we will give it
an envelope that just said head to the car. We're
going to take you there and you're going to knock
on the door. So right now we are heading I'm
going to say south. Yeah, we're heading towards the mre. Yes.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Yes, so we've gone past the Stanley and Vulture Street exits.
We are going past we are not turning down Cornwell Street.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
Or Juliette Street.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Right.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
The traffic is flowing great.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
It's pretty good. Not so good the other way into
the city. But all I just saw something. Well I
can see the sat nav. Oh, it doesn't have the
final location, but it does say we're twenty minutes away.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Twenty minutes take the field.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Did you think about that?

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Claire, our producer, one of our producers, is driving.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
She literally knows where she's going. It's sitting on top
of a child seat or something.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Ship books four foot tall, and she's got a brick
a brick for the pedals.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Anyway, that's a bit of dinglage drives, I think. Right. Okay,
so we are being driven by the shortest show for
all time. Yeah, heady south. Yeah, Well, if we turn
this was.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Doing the speed limit and twenty minutes away from knocking
on someone's door, I guess, or entering into their apartment.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
So imagine if you are one of the people that
is from a suburb sort of in the direction we're
heading that tomorrow morning, you could have a million dollars.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
It's pretty insane, isn't it. What a what a game
changer for your life the way there.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Can we have some fun? Can we play like corners
or something like that?

Speaker 2 (07:08):
What do we do? Where do we play corners? On
the straight on a freeway? To you?

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Well, see as the as the youngest, I always sat
in the middle. My brother and sister made up. When
we're on a straight Yep, the poor kid in the
middle got squished all.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Right on the straight straight.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Corners.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
We are heading to the location the person who is
going to have a shot at a million dollars tomorrow morning.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
We're in the kiss car right now.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
We're actually right out the front of Cavendish Road State
High School because we took.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
The Marshall Road exit and have now turned into Cavendish Road.
So yeah, heading sort of south south.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
I'm not excited when we've seeing big gyms, fish and chips.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yeah, that's a good look at fish and chip shots
there right there.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Sometimes even not going inside, you know that place is.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Going to know it's way around some fish and.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Chips right there, there's big Gym's cooking.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
I had good after school. When you go to Cavro.
Just head on down to big gyms. Oh yeah, see there.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
A couple of Maybe we should tell Jelly Yes, actually
Jellyroll would love that information because he is coming to
town and we have a double pass to see this man.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
You ain't nothing but.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Yeah, and there's not a lot of notice. He's playing
in the Brisbane Entertainment set a twenty fourth of October.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
He's a country music.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Superstar, Jelly Role, performing live in Brisbane for the down
Under tour. You can get all the info at livenation
dot com dot au and we have a double pass
for you right now thirteen one oh six five.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
And if you don't mind telling us where you think
we're going that it would also.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Be super helpful. Would be nice to know.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
I can tell you this if you're nervous, if you're
sitting there thinking could it be me that's going to
have this shot at a million dollars?

Speaker 2 (08:53):
I can see on the sat nav that we're eight
minutes away. Seven, just reached the Savada A game.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
We are very close to finding out who's going to
have this shot at a million dollars.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Okay, let's do this.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
In the last four weeks we've been all over Brisbane
Rock in the suburb Underwood, run Corn, Paddington, Shayla Park, Brendale,
jinder Lee Von damber Manly, Springfield Lakes, Brassel, Springwood, alex Hills,
Fernie Grove, Fall Hills Instead, Gevar Seven Hills, Mansfield, Sanford Strath.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
But there can only be.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
One one million dollar, million dollar.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Suburb, Okay.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
And instead of just calling the person today, we decided
we would actually come a knock on their door. So
we're walking down the street right now. I think we're
three houses burned off away from the person who's going
to have a shot at a million dollars tomorrow morning.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
They'll come into the studio.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
They've got a one in one hundred chance they get
to pick the lucky number one on a hundred chance
at a million dollars.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Okay, it's a nice little street. This isn't only cute.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
It comes off scrub road.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Yeah, a lot of stamped, stamped concrete drive.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
What is that was the go? Okay? Okay? Here is
this the house? Well, you don't roll your ankle, coy, Okay.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Come down a little slope.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
It's a it's a single level of brick home.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
You have got Masda three out the front.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Okay, Corey's just coming up with.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
And he's just going to knock on the door right now. Hello, Well,
what's your name? Michelle?

Speaker 2 (10:51):
You Michelle? Come out here. So we're here.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
I've been listening all morning. I've been listening, okay, Jim.
And then you did cap Road which one boys go
to Mountain Road the golf club. So here we are, okay,
So tell me when you saw it.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
It could have been you.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
Okay, you're on the freeway. I thought, please don't go west,
and then you came towards here, and then you're going
past and you go off southeast and then I'm like, okay,
your fingers crossed. It's no, it's big gym.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Really Okay. We're definitely going there show extra chickens.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
So of course we are in Caroendale, the lovely suburb
of Carendale. Do you remember the nice things you said
about Karendale when we spoke to I.

Speaker 7 (11:39):
Too, So obviously we're not on top of each other
here green leafy suburbs. We've got golf course, we've got
the Carndale Hotel who support the Broncos, make the best
marg readers, and the carpet on the shopping center floor.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Is this your house you're renting here?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Tell me?

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Tell me what a million bucks is going to do
for you?

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Oh, you have no idea? Like, do you want a short,
tiny segment of it? Yeah, because I'm on radio. Honestly,
we read my husband had a son cardiac arrest three
and a half years ago when I was six month old,
baby out full baby. So we've rented, moved schools, did
all that. He's live, he's surviving. But you know, we
we've had three cars that have been a total ride off.

(12:24):
So we are a family of six in a five
person car at the moment. So we're doing two trips
everywhere because we've just been trying to, you know, build
life again after cardiac arrest and everything. So a million
dollars to us would change a lot.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Just help O, man, tell me how old your kids are?

Speaker 5 (12:42):
So Noah is sixteen, Eli is fourteen. They're both a
cav Eve is eleven, and Jonah is our COVID surprise
four year old found out well that's his drink.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
But one favorite.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Cod and the day before my forty first birthday that
we're pregnant with our surprise. Wow, we're a very, very
full on family.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Michelle, tomorrow you are coming into Kiss ninety seventy three,
you will face a wall of numbers and one of
those numbers has a million dollars in it.

Speaker 5 (13:30):
Yeah, that's that's like a lot of pressure.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yeah, it is a lot of numbers my head.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
You know, what are you going with? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Dreaining going to sleep tonight thinking about it.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
I don't think so. I think we need to go
to the Carondelle and.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah, yeah, you d actually good.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
See how nervous shaving I am.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
And I'm really nervous, and I thought it might be here,
and just meeting the three of you, I just love
oh so much. It's just I'm just really thankful and grateful.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
So well, I can see those other people in the house.
Let's play a song. We'll come back and meet Shell's
family after this.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Michelle, are you are you a meat tray winner?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Do when meat trays?

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Are your a lucky number? Anything?

Speaker 5 (14:16):
No, I've got I like, No, I'm not a meat
tray winner at all. Do you like a good multi
like a Maulti on the broncos Shubasaki's been healthy, but
I have a lot of lucky numbers. You know, we've
been married twenty two years. I've got four beautiful children.

(14:37):
I live on number forty three. Is that a sign
I live at Karenda? I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
I don't think you're gonna get my sleep tonight.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
I'm not sleeping. Okay, can you introduce this to our
lovely husband? I can. So this is my husband Ian.
We've been married, yes, I said, for twenty two years.
He's my penguin, my best friend, father to four children.
And this crazy, crazy house that we have.

Speaker 8 (15:00):
It is and all the exciting things my wife puts
us through.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
She does do a few things like this. It's not
a usual, but I'm not complaining. This is a really
nice surprise.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
They're one, and here's the calm, logical one.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Yes, you guys are going to face off against a
million dollars nerve wracking.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
I think I'm going to be sick. Yeah, I'm going
to be sick. But that's okay, that's a good sick.
It's good sick. I'm happy for that.

Speaker 8 (15:24):
I'm normally the calm one, but I'm actually feeling a
bit nervous myself for once in my life.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
So how do you feel about this? This is huge,
This would be life changing.

Speaker 8 (15:33):
It would be life changing for us. It's a lot
of money for kids. Like I said, we wrench. We
have a five seat car, so there's just so many
things that would change. A holiday would be nice for once.
We don't get to do that very often, so it'd
be a big, big deal for us.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
So the first step is the key accountival.

Speaker 5 (15:51):
I want them touching each other anymore. I heard about
corners on the way.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
It's fun.

Speaker 5 (15:57):
No, no, it's not fun. Corners is not fun with
a teenager, an eleven year old girl.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
And she screens maybe a nine van, then one age.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
Row a distance a lot like a Axix because I'm
already the mum cabs.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
And then after that is it?

Speaker 3 (16:13):
I mean, you're renting this place's beautiful house. Would you
try and buy here? Would that be the dream?

Speaker 5 (16:17):
Buy this house would absolutely be the dream. We love Karendal.
It's close to the kids' school, it's a beautiful suburb,
so we'd be here for life.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
Yeah, it's a beautiful spot.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
It's a beautiful spot. There's so much room and it's
just it's tree and it's still near the city and
it's Krndar obviously Big Gym's Big Gyms Chicken Salt, Extra
Chicken Sole on the Chicks.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Sorry, you gotta do it, but ps big Gym, if
you're not advertising with us, by the end of the day,
we've about a million dollars worth.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
So tell me.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
You said you have four children and they aged between.

Speaker 5 (16:49):
Sixteen, fourteen, eleven and four.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Are you going to tell them about tomorrow?

Speaker 5 (16:56):
Yeah, because you know they're going to want to be
in La Disneyland, So that's there. You know they want
to go anothering.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Yeah, it's going to get worse.

Speaker 8 (17:04):
Yeah, numbers got It's just going to complicate things a lot.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
They're very opinionated children.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Come understand, I think you got to go with the
one that resonates the best and the most with you,
the most personal number.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
You have to if you can't choose one, I.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
Can't choose a now color at the selon. Okay, right, well,
they have to choose it for me. So you're talking
to the most indecisive person ever.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
If you missed it earlier in the show, we explained
how it's going to work. Michelle's coming into this to
the station tomorrow. She'll have one hundred locked boxes in
front of her. One of them has a million dollars
in it. If she picks the right number, her life
changes forever. They buy the house, they buy the key
a cannibal, they take the kids to La Disneyland, do
all of it. So, I mean, and you seem like
such awesome winners, like it would be so good if

(17:53):
we could get this to happen tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
We're all rooting for you.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
Yeah, we so, mate.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
We always say that the right people win the right prizes,
and you guys are definitely the right people.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
So yes, yes, yes, congratulations, and we'll see you tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (18:11):
Mornings for the summer.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Where are we?

Speaker 3 (18:20):
And we will be back tomorrow morning for somebody Michelle
rather could have a shot.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
It's not somebody anymore.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
It's Michelle and he and having a real shot at
a million dollars tomorrow

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Morning, right here at Kiss ninety seven three
