Speaker 1 (00:12):
I heard podcasts year more, kiss podcasts, playlists and listen
live on the freeheart app Robin and kidd Now with Correos.
The podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Got a proud parent moment because I think, you know,
our kids are often very similar to us in a
lot of ways. But then all of a sudden you
also realize that sometimes the kid that you get is
the kid that you need or the person that your
house always needed. Yes, and you never knew.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yes, they fill in the gap, yes, that you didn't
realize was there.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I didn't realize that I was leaving such a gameing,
but rapping my little five year old has filled the
gap because Siena, our little bub who's eleven months, just
has just started daycare and so because Noam is going
back to work in about a month, and so she's
going just for a couple of days, well one day
a week at the moment, just to sort of see

(01:06):
how she goes. And then and then will go back
to work and it'll be I think it'll be twice
a week and nanny peerl or help out and all
sorts of thuff.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
And they're both okay with it. Did the first time
go okay?

Speaker 2 (01:16):
First time went well? Yeah, fun. Yeah, she's got this
thing at the moment where she's like she does it
with me all the time, where she shoves her fingers
in my mouth. I love Yeah, soon as you're holding
and she's like first thing she does. Anyway, she discovered
she discovered that's problematic with other babies because then they

(01:38):
just jumpt. Yeah, so she got bitten like three times
they learn. Yeah, but on the first day that Naomi,
because Naomi was really struggling the idea of daycare and
just yeah, that's that separation. And so on the first
day she brought she brought Siana home and raf Air

(01:59):
was home sick from school, and I was somewhere else
in the kitchen and I heard Naomi come in the door,
and I heard raf go like, you know, a really
big nana, which is what he calls Naomi. And he goes,
how did she go? First thing? And Naomi went, oh,
she she went great, she was really good. And then
he goes and how are you? Oh sweet, and how

(02:23):
are you? And she like nearly teared up. She goes,
I'm okay enough, and then and then he goes, I'm
so proud of you. I'm so proud of you for
how you do it dealing with it, and I'm just said,
they're going, these are all the things I should be saying.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I'm like, I'm tearing up my house.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Isn't that the sweetest thing?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
And I bet you went, how cool was it having
a day?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
That's what I was thinking, But then I realized that
I was those are the things that it's beautiful?

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Do you know?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Honestly I would have said how did she go? But
I wouldn't. I never would have thought the follow up
question of how are you feeling about it? Like I
just it didn't occur to me, And it's just lovely
that it's already occurring to him that that it's an
emotional moment for her and he's just got this emotional maturity,
which is Yeah, Fortunately, whatever jeans I have, we're not

(03:14):
passed on. He got his own way. I do.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
I think that's true. I think you have a very
big heart. You are a very sensitive human. Look, it
takes a little bit of time to find it.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yes, they do.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I definitely listen. They listen and watch so much. Reason
I know that is because both my kids don't shut up.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Trust me, they learn from.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
So let me know, though, after you heard Rafi do that, yes,
did you then clock it and then ask the same.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Thing I did. All of his material

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
