Robin Kids Now with Chos the podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
And CoreOS had this idea and this would happen at
workplaces a lot.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
I reckon.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
When someone comes, he goes, goys, gys, I want to
do this. We've got a great ordea. It's going to
be huge.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yeah, and we go yeah, sure, you run it though, yeah, And.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Then they don't show up on the first day that
this actually happened in Corey's sick today. So but we're
the game rolls on. They're still a shot and a
million dollars, but we do need to check in, and
he's too sick to talk to us, so we're going
to talk to his lovely wife Teagan.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Heytigs, Hello, how are you good?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Now?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
You sound well and healthy?

Speaker 5 (00:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Bye, okay, okay, excellent.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Is he proper sick?

Speaker 6 (01:01):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
So I remember on Friday he said he sort of
had a bit of a sore throat, but he thought
it was just from talking so much on Thursday, which
happens doing a bit.

Speaker 7 (01:14):
But he still thought that yesterday morning and I said
to him, I said, oh, I said, I think this
has gone on a bit too long. I said, I
think maybe we should go and get one of those
tests and just check that, you know, it's not something else,
because I said, this isn't adding up, and so yes,
that's what we did.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Got a test and he's got influenza A, N, B
and B.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
What a high achiever.

Speaker 7 (01:36):
I mean, you know, I know she likes to outdo everyone.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Where do you think he got it from?

Speaker 6 (01:42):
I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Well he did.

Speaker 7 (01:44):
He started feeling a bit sick, was it Thursday afternoon?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:48):
Yeah, Thursday afternoon and then he well he was fine
and well he could talk on Friday morning, and then
he ended up messaging me Friday night because he was
in rock Campon and he was home very early in
bet so must have hit him. And then yeah, and
then his plane got delayed by three hours on Saturday,
and I think it really really really went down hell

(02:10):
at the airport in rock Hampton.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Nothing't like sitting in an airport aircorn for three hours,
just really kick it in. So I remember on Friday
he had to leave the show a little bit early
to make it up there for cam Munster's dad's funeral,
But he made it up there.

Speaker 7 (02:23):
Okay, he made it to the funeral. Okay, Yes, went
to a funeral, went to the wake for a couple
of hours, but in very on Corey's style was home
at five thirty pm.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Wow, is extraordinary. What is he feeling about Vegas?

Speaker 7 (02:38):
Oh, he's very worried, and so we've got every old
wives remedy going here. We've got the mixed vaporizer, we've
got jumpers on, we've got lozengers, everything you can think about.
We're trying, are.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
You if Corey doesn't go to Vegas, if for some
reason he's seeking, can't go, is that a relief to
you or does that not help you at all?

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (03:02):
I hope you can go.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
I hope you can sit down.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Break even though you've got two kids.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
To look at.

Speaker 7 (03:09):
I just want to stop dinner five nights a week.
I wanted those meals, but you just put it in
the microwave. What I was looking forward to.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Cereal is a food group. And he's totally fine after
six pm.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
It is indeed, so is he awake?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Like where is he now?

Speaker 7 (03:26):
So we quarantined him because none of us want to
get it and the two kids are a bit like
you wrong with their chests with the coughs. As soon
as they get anything viral, it just clears up. So
he's quarantined in a room in the house and he's
no light to come out until we leave the school
and then he can spend the whole day. I said,
just get out in the sun, lay in the sun,
and hopefully that does something for it.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
It does though, like honestly, sun on your back, it's
just beautiful. It does help. And sleeping, which would I
mean Corey not speaking for.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
A couple of days, Oh my goodness, mate, the words
he's going to accumulate.

Speaker 7 (03:57):
I know you guys have to show micro for six hours.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Perfect well, thank you tis keep us up, I will.
Timing is not great for Corey. I mean if miss
imagine if he misses out on Vegas because we're heading
Friday after the show, we're off, I know, I mean, he.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Has to be well. Could there be a worse time illness?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Like, is there ever been a point in your life
thirteen one oh sixty five where something has happened to
your physical health? Like maybe actually I do remember with
one of my children, first day of the school holidays,
of Christmas school.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Holidays, first day, something diabolical happened.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Okay, what do you got thirteen one, six fives out number?
What's the worst time to be sick for you? Anita
at a VICKI point, Hello, who was sick? Anita?

Speaker 6 (04:48):
Well, actually it wasn't me. It was my husband and
it couldn't have been worse. We had paid to go
to Lord Howe Island for our ten year wedding anniversary,
and I'm not sure if everyone's familiar, but it's a
very expensive place to go, and we chose to stay
at Pine Tree's Lodge, which is even more expensive. We
arrived on the Sunday and by Tuesday night my husband

(05:11):
was quite sick. And on the Wednesday morning we woke
up and he had actually drenched the bed in sweat
overnight from the blue fever.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
It was that bad.

Speaker 6 (05:23):
We had to go to the to let the people
know that they had to take the mattress away.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Wow mattress, Oh that's terrible. Glen of what about you?
What happened?

Speaker 5 (05:37):
There was a groundsman at one of the council depots
and I was working Monday and I stepped back into
the law. Moler saved my Achilles friendon two days before
my engagement party.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Glenn, Oh mate, did you still rock up to your
engagement party.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
On crutches and half a leg of plaster?

Speaker 2 (05:54):
At least it wasn't your wedding made true.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
It's pretty bad though. Actually, you've just reminded me my brother.
I remember they went on their honeymoon to Thailand and
he got sick on the first day. He lost seven
kilos on their honeymoon. He just spent the whole time.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
I love going out.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Everywhere, Kaylee.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Thanks for that description.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Didn't we all just get that.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Wanted to see that, Kaylie? Have Albany Creek worst time sickness?

Speaker 5 (06:24):
When was it.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Last December? We finally got to Europe and ten days
into my trip I ended up in ICU with a
viral infection that has their once they get back to Australia.
It turned into an auto immune disease where all my
nerves have disappeared.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
And that happened on your overseas tramp.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Yeah, they took the family over and you know, my
two girls and my husband and I ended up laying
on my back where they traveled through Europe.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
How much did that cost you in medical stuff?

Speaker 4 (07:03):
I was that's why you take travel insurance exactly so
lucky that they covered it all.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Do you think if you won the million dollars would
you go again to Europe?

Speaker 6 (07:14):
No, no.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Spending on other things. Fair enough, yeah,
