Speaker 1 (00:00):
Robin terily Kid on Brisbane's Kiss ninety seven three. Let's
find out what's going on with Robin Bailey and you're
you're dating You've been online dating.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Me and half the population have been trying to find
a significant other in my life, which I have discovered
that I actually want a person. I don't want to
just date randomly. I don't want to have someone occasionally.
I am ready for love.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Now. That was the problem with drill Man, the first
one we sort of heard about because he was not
that serious and you're ready for serious.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Well, he had a lot more commitments and I was
going to rate about six or seven on his list.
I am not a six or seven kind of person.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Okay, okay, So if you haven't caught up with us,
we were talking about the second date. The first date
was a bit of a disaster. You still did have
a second and last night was date number three.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, so went to the regatta, Okay, Yeah, I went
to the boat house, which is a lovely choice. That
was his selection. I wanted to do a stake and
a glass of red, which I'm all up for. It
was really nice going out on a Wednesday night. It's
a little odd particularly in our world. But I kind
of justified it saying it felt like a Friday because
we had a day off on Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
True, Yes, okay, and I.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Can tell you that last drinks at the regatta at
ten thirty, which is a good sign for a date.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
That is a good sign.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah, because you know we met at six.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Oh wow, okay, yeah, that's a lot of talk.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah, a lot of talk because you know, as I
said yesterday, you've got to work out things like values
and communication style and whether those things are compatible. And
all of that is amazing. Like not looking at your
watch and wondering what the time is, or letting your
mind wander somewhere else because you're totally engaged with the
person sitting opposite you is lovely. I mean, I work
with you two, and that has never happened. Mind is everywhere.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Yeah, you said, now, how did we both get there?
Uber's cars? You drive Saturday?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah? No, ubered in, Okay, yes, so because I knew,
you know, a nice glass of chicky red and I
don't drink and drive. So that was really good.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
The conversation flowed a lot, and there was a kind
of awkward moment. Now I don't know if this is
just me in the online dating space or if this
is everyone. But when you're hitting date three, you kind
of got to articulate where you're at right because nothing
physicals happened, And I think what was happening for both
of us is that we were skirting around each other

(02:29):
a bit like kind of going, I think you're really cool,
and you think I think you think I'm really cool,
but I don't actually know that. Yes, it is absolutely great,
sick if I could have passed a note yes through
my best friend, absolutely So, Yeah, we had that conversation
and we both said, yeah, this is really cool. We
like each other. Where were you that's so that's nice.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Where were you? Where were your knees during the during
the meal? There was there any leg touching kind.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Of but it was like, yeah, I mean the regard
you ask.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
That's just you know, all of a sudden, you start
touching each other.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
And we're randomly tactile humans. So yeah, there was there
was a.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Bit of that because you said, yesterday, Naomi, I had
only had to brush your hand. Yeah, sot, yes, this
is it. It's a sign.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I'm really embarrassed about it now. But Okay, go.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
On, thank you for sharing. Now, when when would the
boys get involved?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Like?

Speaker 1 (03:25):
How many dates until until this person would meet the boys? Oh? No?

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Like ken like a few more?

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Because it felt like drill man drew men was pretty
early on.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Okay, drill man had a drill and I needed electrical one.
That's the only reason why that happened.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Okay, probably mon't be that quick, you know, I got.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
To work this out.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
And what about what can we call him? Do we know?
I mean, because drill man, we knew how to drill.
Can we at least if we're not going to get
a name, can we at least get some type of
outstanding feature this person?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Let's call him mister Scorpio.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Mister Scorpio the same.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I know, right? That actually did come up? Okay, because
you know, we're both quite passionate people, We're both quite
a motive. Why is the entire stuff of the radio
station standing outside the glass everywhere? Did you put the
passion passionate? Yes? Yes, you had a kiss? You did?

Speaker 1 (04:23):
And was it good?

Speaker 2 (04:26):
I kissed a boy and I like problem? There is
one massive problem.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
We're talking red flag.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Well I don't know either that or he's got a
very funny, Kip like sense of humor. I am a
week older than him. Yes, he's already calling me the cougar.
I love this Guymary Kids on Briston's Cheese ninety seventy three,
