Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jerry Kiss.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's a little bit of relief in the studio because
Robin just a minute ago said I had botox yesterday.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Yeah, a lot of botoxs, and Dary and I looking
at each other going we didn't notice.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
We neither of us said anything.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Can I just say, when you do have botox for
cosmetic reasons, it takes weeks, Like it's a muscle relaxance,
so it actually takes a fair while to kick in
and work out, like it's not going to be this
straight off thing where.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
You go wa wow. You don't come in the next
day and we go, oh, your face is different. I
can't really like that.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
You don't know that, kid, Yes, if you were looking
at me and you were relaxed, I'd be very suspicious.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Okay, So I have been on a wild and crazy
ride for the last six months, but actually it's been
almost my whole adult life. I have mild to slash
a little more severe sleep ap now, and I've done
nothing about it because I don't know. I just couldn't
be bothered or you know, you're with anyway, it hasn't
been an issue. But because of all the stuff that's

(00:59):
happened in my life, I've also got a lot of
stress issues around my jaw and I grind and I
don't know if you remember I came in I'd had
the whole sleep app near testing, and I'd come in
with all these big things all over me to test
what my sleep was like. Now because I've got a
really shocking gag reflex, I can't have a cepat machine.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Well you're selling yourself here, but it's.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Been quite stressful because I'm not sleeping well and we've
kind of, you know, like I'm three years down the
track from when Sean died, so you know, I've now
got to start really living my life and working out
some of this stuff. So it's taken, as I said,
six months and three major specialists to get me to
this point. I have a wonderful dentist. She's a holistic
dentist called Sarah Beach, and she's kind of initiated all

(01:44):
of this. And I went through like six months of
trying to get massages and really unrelease all the tension
that's been in my head, in my jaw, down my neck,
and it hasn't really worked.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Intense messages they get right I.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Am, and she actually puts her fingers in to the
top of my jaw and releases the.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Muscle inside your mouth, inside your mouth.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Do not do this at home. Get a professional to
do it.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
She's amazing anyway, So we decided that maybe the thing
to try is this wonderful little contraption. It's like a
mouth guard. No, I want you to imagine that you
go to a five dollar shop and you wanted a
pair of Dracula teeth. Oh yeah, because that's exactly what
they look like. But they're actually molded to my teeth.
And I had to go to a specialist. His name

(02:29):
was James, and is that Aesthetic Smile Collective.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
He's got this wand and.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
He puts it through your mouth and it gets a
three D version of your teeth.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Want ones andcular.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
This you get this like mold of your teeth made
and then they make this plastic thing in your gob
at night. And what it does is it forces your
jaw forward.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
It opens up your airways, and you don't snore and
you don't have issues. And it's a three month process,
so I've got to go back in a month. They
push it forward more and forward more, and then in
the three months time actually okay, Okay.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
What if one of your children, I can.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Put it in for I can actually speak with it in.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
But all of this was unfolding, and yet the tension
for me was really really problematic, and I wasn't relaxing,
and they're thinking, we've got to do something else.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
So it was decided I needed to try botox.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Yes, yes, So yesterday I went in and doctor Katrina
and she is amazing, like she is absolutely amazing, Doctor Krena.
She came in and she put injected and she's got
this vibrating machine.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
So it's supposed to mean that it doesn't hurt so much.
That's not true because I've got so much tension.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
I got him in the back of my shoulders, in
the back of my neck, and then follow up because
all of it's connected. So then follow up through the
jaw and the one at the top of the jaw.
She said, clinch, which I did very easily, and then
she injected, Oh.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
My god, that sounds painful, and then.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Into the forehead and up the top because yeah, so
it tries to get rid of the tension, headaches and
release all.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
So just it's a muscle relaxing. So everything that's.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
That was its first design, Botocks, way before the cosmics
was used, especially in cerebral palsy when kids turned to
teenage years. Yeah, and puberty got involved and they relaxed
and let muscles and legs and things developed straight.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Right.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
So doctor Greener is actually from the UK, and so
she's like a specialist in this area. You can't just
go to your general injectable person, like you've got to
have someone crye to what they're doing. Anyway, So I
left there and I was like, whoa, if you're going
to release that amount of tension straight off?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Yes, I went home.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
I cried all the way home. I cried and I
had no idea why.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Yeah, and then I got into bed and my alarm
went off at six thirty last night, after four and
a half hour sleep, and I only got up because
I thought I needed to make the kids some food.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
I decided that wasn't important.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yeah, so you slept really well because of it.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Yeah, Well, the I think.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
What it's done, and she said it'll take a little
bit of time, but I.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Think it's just released all this stuff. Like I think
I've had all these.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Kind of stresses and toxins and things in my body
I mean talk to me in the next couple of months.
But life changing, man, life changing so botox that will
not change the look of my face, but will make
me a much better human.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Talk more, Kiss,
