Speaker 2 (00:04):
Rat producer Chelsea in the Gabby seat. I love Christmas
And so you're saying that Christmas spirit is guaranteed yes
by visiting cam Art. Either you've just bought Chares in
Kmart or West Farmers or they have something pretty awesome
(00:24):
in there.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Yeah. Well, I am a pretty big cam Art fan.
I would go every weekend if I could. But I
have seen that they have this really really cool little
gadget for Christmas and to get kids or even adults
into the Christmas spirit. And it's something that I haven't
really seen before. But it is a magic wand to
(00:51):
turn on your Christmas lights on your Christmas tree on demand.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Right as opposed to the switch that's a switch that
also turns it on on demand. Okay, so this is
blowing up on TikTok is it? Let's ever look? And
I listened to one of these.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Posts, Oh my gosh.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Every morning I just get to oh my god, oh no,
oh okay, let me park my cynicism.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
This is the greatest thing in the world. So she
waves her wand yes, and the tree, the lights in
the tree.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
So you buy the tree with the wand no.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
So actually, this is the best part is you can
just buy the kme art led Magical Lightning wand twenty
five dollars by the way, which is pretty good. It's
a clever gadget that wirelessly connects to your Christmas tree lights. No,
I can connect to any Christmas tree and.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Then I just go blink so I can get the
biggest tree in the world or the whatever, the most
unique pink tree or whatever. And I get this wand yes,
and I go the ling just and the sound happens
out of the wand like we heard the ones.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Yeah, it's genius. I love it. I'm getting one.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
I hate when because Camart they're the kings of the clickbait.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
This is the thing that will change everything. It's a
game changer, it's a revolution. It is today. They've done it.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yes, should have bought those shares and came up before
this story, because I think this is going to blow up.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
This is Ron Gaby wrapped on camera.
Speaker 2 (02:25):

Speaker 2 (02:34):
If you can't make it nine now ESPN Disney plus
that just sounds cool to say it last and we've
got one of the stars of one of the of
the Perth team or should I see teams around the world,
who's joined us this year? And I'm not even sure
it's a month since she's actually started calling the capitol home.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Taj Morrel good a, welcome to Canbra.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
Oh, thank you so much. I am loving Canberra. Thanks
for having me on the show.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
I was hanging all morning to hear your accent after
researching that you are the ultimate citizen of the world.
So let me see if I can do this off
the top, and then you can tell me whether or
not I've missed something. So Mom's American, but a state
league coach in Australia meets a Zimbabwean fitness trainer. They
fall in love, They travel the globe, they have babies
(03:25):
along the journey. You're born in Dubai, you get raised
in America, and you've gone Mom and dad met in Australia.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
I should go back there. Is that right?
Speaker 5 (03:35):
You got almost everything right? My dad is actually the
coach and my mom was the fitness instructor from Zimbabwe.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
So yeah, incredible. When the Americans when your mates, I
was going to say back home, Yes, in New Mexico,
hear you now that you've been out here, living and
playing in Perth and now in the Capitol, do they
think you sound as rallion yet?
Speaker 5 (04:01):
Yeah? I mean I think they do think I have
a little bit of a twang.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
We do that to everybody.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
You've only been here for a few weeks.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
How are you enjoying the Capitol?
Speaker 5 (04:15):
Yeah, Oh my goodness, it's actually so so beautiful. I
was warned about cold weather, but thankfully we are here
in summer and getting lots and lots of sunshine. The
mountains are gorgeous, very different during to anywhere else I've
been in Australia. So it's a good little foot up
and just a beautiful community along with obviously the basketball
(04:38):
program is amazing. So yeah, really really grateful to be here.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
It's a good point since you arrived to really turned
the weather on.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
You've got here with our first home game tomorrow night. Now, Statistically,
when we look at attendance and crowd figures, there are
two teams that draw the biggest crowds most consistently, Wake in,
wake out year after. One of them is the towns
will fire and the out there in the competition, the camera, capitals,
(05:07):
and so this will be your first time playing in
Caps colors in front of our home crowded.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
II is how much are you looking forward to that?
Speaker 5 (05:15):
Yeah, oh my goodness, Like you said, it is quite
the matchup and I am so so excited obviously. Yeah,
first home game in front of the Caps of my crowd,
So really really excited for that. And yeah, I mean
(05:35):
there's so much to look forward to in this round.
It's the Indigenous round, first home games. Our indigenous jerseys
are unbelievably gorgeous. The artist Richard Iron did an incredible,
incredible job, and just a little plug there's jersey sales
(05:56):
going on to support the Traditional Owners Virginal Corporation, So
all of those Indigenous Round jersey sales go to them,
and we love absolutely supporting them. But yeah, it's going
to be awesome, awesome competition and rocking are awesome Indigenous
(06:18):
jerseys too.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
It is the best jersey in the league all year round,
and the blue and the black and the gold and
the different combinations.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
My daughters and I were taking a look at the
jerseys when they released their whatever.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
It is a month or two ago.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Had to get your orders in just like you know, quickly,
because you can get the custom you can get your
name on them, the whole thing. And so if you've
got them in early enough, you can get the jerseys
in time for tomorrow night's game.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
And they were there was no question.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
They said that indigenous jersey is and they were just
looking at jerseys, they were necessarily looking at the cultural significance.
They said, that is the most beautiful jersey that we've seen.
And so yes, I expect the sales before you've even
got on the court will have gone through the roof.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
So that's going to look beautiful out there.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Yeah, I agree. I'm really excited. And also I don't
know if you've heard, but there's some players rocking some
custom painted shoes by Richie as well, and they're going
to be auctioned off. So just another exciting reason to
go to the game.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
How do you feel as an athlete when you get
great gear? You know? And then and then but it's
not yours, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Like it's essentially it's it's your employer's uniformed they've they
have it and by the way, you know, raising money,
fantastic causes.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Yeah, you get a cool pair of custom shoes. You
might want to keep those.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Right, Oh yeah, I wouldn't mind them. I'm thinking about
betting in for the auction.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
That's a good point. You can be in the auction.
That's really cool.
Speaker 5 (07:47):
You can exactly well.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Details about that at the II Arena. And as I said,
non now ESPN Disney plus, uh, it's never been a
biger A bit of saying congratulations you pot of sitting
the attendance Reycold, the old time attendance Reycold for the
league as well last week.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
That was a great stop.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
Yeah, thank you, thanks so much. Rod. We're really excited
for Yeah, the the entertainment we're bringing to the league
this year. I mean just we've got some incredible talent
and I think it's definitely something we're seeing. And in fact,
I also almost forgot and tickets for kids are on
(08:29):
sale today for five dollars only today, So if you
haven't gotten your tickets, I definitely encourage you to do
so for the kids too. Like I've heard that it's
a really really awesome environment and very family friendly. So yeah,
i'd love to be some smiling faces with all the
(08:51):
kids out there, and we also do lots of like
signings and say hi with you know, like Solti's and
stuff after the game.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
You do an amazing job, my girls. Thank you are superheroes.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
We can't wait to see you in Canberra colors on
the Camera court for the first time tomorrow night for
the home and away season. Congratulations, thank you for calling
Canberra home and we'll see you out there again.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Yeah, thanks so much. Ron, I'm so grateful and thankful
for the camera community embracing me.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
This is Ron Gabby wrapped on camera sit on her
four point seven.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
We did it Friday. Great to have you on board
if you're joining us for the first time. Gabby back
on Monday. Producer Chelsea, Hello once again.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Hello Fry Yay.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Maybe it's best.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
That Gabrielle isn't here because I don't know what this
show is, but you're about to reveal that her favorite
show has been asked for twenty twenty six. We know
she loves reality, she loves the drama Ties. Yes, I
don't know what her favorite show is though.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Yeah, well, Gabby does have a lot of favorite shows,
but this one she does talk about quite often and
the season just wrapped up. So moving forward, the upfront
presentation for seven shows that are coming out next year
came out and this show wasn't on the lineup unfortunately.
(10:14):
But the show is Dancing with the Stars.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
The Australian Dancing with the American Dancing with the Start
is going from strength to strength.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Kaby also loves that.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
Yes, we all love that.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
At the moment, we had a scare when Robert didn't
get perfect scores for the first time.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
The other day. But no, he's still fine. He's certainly
looking like the favorite.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
So what Channel seven did they get Doctor Chris over
he hosted it.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
For ten minutes and Sonya Krueger.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
This is what happens when when you lose Daryl Sata.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Was also only on on Sunday nights, so all other
reality shows pan over the week, like Sunday to Tuesday
or Sunday to Wednesday, whereas Dancing with the Stars it
was only on on Sunday, So ratings wires probably not
doing so.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Well, like a lot of those shows where it felt
like as they viewer, we could vote and we could
play some role in what was happening on the screen
in front of us, when it's just on on a
Sunday night.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Doesn't feel as like real.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Well, was there any live voting? I remember?
Speaker 3 (11:17):
No, I don't think so much.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
Yeah, so there you go. Once upon a time, that's say, right,
the voting thing opens and we'll be back in a day,
you know. Yeah, and then it was part of our
day to day.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
People would talk about it, but they maybe didn't commit
to it as much as they have in the past.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Surprise, Well, you can't commit to it less than canceling.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
No, okay, no one tell Gabby.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Look, Gabby's me.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Okay, there's still fifty eight favorite shows, so you're going
to be But that's that was a great part of
each year, Yes, waiting to see who they were.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Yeah, all the celebrities that were going to be on.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
It, and then those they put in to fill up
the gaps where they'd run out of Australian celebrities.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
Maybe that's the problem.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
This is Ron Gabby rapped on Cameras four point seven.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Normally i'd give you the news theme produced Chelsea.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
He is here as well, by the way, and I
don't know why this is the request, but I do
know it is the greatest theme song to any film
in history.
Speaker 5 (12:15):
Yeah, and how the thought.
Speaker 6 (12:18):
This would be good funeral music.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Well, I mean it would make the funeral a whole
more awesome. Life morbid insight into your mind.
Speaker 6 (12:32):
Anyway, Sorry, there has nothing to do with what we're talking.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Okay, good, there's not a link or is the story here?
Speaker 6 (12:39):
The story is that an influencer couple have been criticized
for their baby names. So that's a common occurrence. The
reason I requested this music, yes, is that the name
is Adventure Adventure.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Oh, well, that's a relief because it is, of course
the film Indiana Jones and my beautiful daughter Indiana is listening.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Which is a beautiful name.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
And there's never a criticism of that beautiful name Adventure. However,
it is the ultimate Adventure. Yes, there is nothing wrong
with that name. It's iconic. You've made it more awesome
by requesting.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Yeah, it's really I feel like, as a like a
little baby, if you needed a nickname like Venny could
be cute or like then yeah, I like it. I
saw this and the reveal they wrote the name on
a blanket. And because people with influencers wait a long
time for the baby name reveal, it's such a suspense
(13:38):
built top of like when the name is going to
be revealed, and they did the video of panning down
the screen to the bottom of the blanket that had
the name.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Look, it doesn't matter what people think of your name.
It doesn't matter what your name is. If you walk
into a room and this just happens, every one can
get stuck because that is the radust name in the world.
It is an important caveat though that you do need
(14:09):
to obviously have that ready yes for everyone.
