Speaker 1 (00:01):
Your podcast camera wrapped, it's running Gabby driving you home
without Rod for the time being, joined, however, by the
winners of the block last night, Maddie and Charlotte, who
took home one point six five million dollars?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Girls, How are you going good?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
How are you so good?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
It was so exciting watching you last night. How much
would you have been happy with to take home after
that many weeks of hard work?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Oh goodness anything.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Been making over five hundred thousand dollars, so people, three
couples to make over a million.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
That was insane, even you know, Kyl and Brad maybe
making six fifty, which was obviously the lowest. That's life changing.
You can buy two houses in can for.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
That, You're not wrong. It was really interesting though, because
Adrian Pettelly bought all of the houses on the block
last night. He actually had someone there bidding on his
behalf for some of them, so it wasn't made aware
until the end of it that he had purchased all
of the houses. How did that make you feel? Because
from a viewing perspective, I was kind of like, oh,

(01:06):
like it kind of took some of the excitement out
of it.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
As in him buying the whole lot.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Yeah, I think him having his little secret agent there
kept everyone you know.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Yeah, I mean it makes sense with the common area,
it's incredible, but to share it with five other people
would be a lot and so I think having it
as one for one person like actually makes a whole
lot of sense. So yeah, I guess Adrian coming in
buying the whole lot wasn't super surprising, but yeah, it's
exciting because now he's actually going to give it away

(01:39):
so someone else could be the lucky winner of this
incredible complex or eight million dollars, which is pretty awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
I came across that this morning and I was like, whoa,
Because can you imagine if you were going away on
a family holiday and each of your siblings had their
own house rather than you're all having to pack into
the one house for Christmas break?

Speaker 3 (01:57):
That would be like Chris Christmas knew you would be
the dream down here?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
What you just have the run of the entire copic.
It wasn't clear in the video that he was talking
about giving this away whether you girls were allowed to
apply to win it back. Are you allowed?

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Well, I don't know to clarify that. For a loyal
member yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
I think it's a live goes off live, so it's
a random selection. So even if I don't know, maybe
we'll have to put it under someone else's name. We'll
pay the money and just put under someone and.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Then he'll be like, sorry, girls, it's mine. Yes, so
one point sixty five million that is absolutely life changing
for you too. Are you splitting it down the middle?
Are you putting it in a joint account? What's the
plans with the money?

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Well, I haven't spoken to Madeline about it, but I
think I'll take a million.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
She wishes, she wishes. No, I think we'll invest it
together and maybe buy a property, which could be exciting.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
That's very exciting, one to flip or one that's like
ready to go turnkey O.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I think a flip you like a chowel just because
we hadn't worked hard enough. Why not?

Speaker 2 (03:02):
You know that's for punishment you girls. Yeah, Jesse and
Paige did do the first room of the house. It
wasn't clarified before this that do they get any cut
off the winnings or they were completely out of it
because they decided to leave.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
No, they don't get any cut of our winnings. But
Channel and I have looked after them, so they'll be
just fine.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
And yeah, so you get to keep every dollar to yourself,
which you deserve. How did you guys feel about Kylie
and Brad coming back for the auction after they so
dramatically left before the end of the show.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
We all wanted them to come back, like they still
did twelve weeks of hard work and you know, we
want to see their kids set up for an incredible feature.
And so I think them winning money, like, we were
super excited for them and we wish them all the best.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
And you didn't think that the drama overshadowed any of
the excitement like it was all in the past.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Oh, probably did, but we're happy, okay.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
As we got over a million dollars. Well, last question
for you, Charlotte. I know there was about what's like
ten weeks ago now, there were rumors that there was
a bit of flirtation with your builder on the block.
Any romance roomors that are still happening. You know, when
they smoke, there's fire.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Right, No, definitely not. We've known each other for four
years and quite close, but definitely he's like a little
brother to us.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Oh, that explains why you were so close because we
thought you'd just met that day and suddenly there was like,
you know, this camaraderie. But if you'd known him for
four years.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
No, definitely not.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Was there any other kind of chance at romance on
the block or was it too.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
We were too busy. If people had time to love,
I don't know. I don't know what they were doing
that was.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
That was not our was to come on the block
to find love.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Nat. We were busy bees, busy bees.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
All right, well, congratulations, you girls deserved that huge win
last night. And whoever wins all of the houses, it's
like they can thank you as well when they get
to live in it.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Exactly exactly. Oh well, thanks so much.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Have a great day. Thank you, Bye bye.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
