Speaker 1 (00:00):
You have a cost Co warning of the.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Week Oh, I really do. If you are thinking of
heading to Costco in the next couple of months, you
need to be warned, whether you are easily scared or
maybe your children now. And I wasn't expecting it. So
we went in on the weekend and it's so far

(00:23):
out from that kind of thing that I hadn't even
considered it. And I heard a few kids crying as
we entered the doors. Again, didn't think much of it.
Kids have meltdowns all the time. I didn't really think
that there was a reason for it because of Costco.
And it wasn't until we got because they're not at
the front yet. They're up the back where the Christmas
stuff normally is like near the big pool floaty stuff,

(00:44):
like in that really big special bi section past the book.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
And so we're walking up there just looking around, and
there is this gigantic zombie. It's the size of a house.
It's so tall, and it's there must be motions and
because as you walk past it it goes, oh, it
like starts to like grumble at you and move a
little bit. And I thought that too. I was like, oh, yeah, fun,

(01:08):
and it wasn't. It wasn't until we got a lot
closer that I realized that my daughter was freaking out
and I hadn't thought to check on her at all.
I just went, that's a big, cool zombie. And I
was thinking, you know, Halloween's coming out, then Christmas, like
this year is going you know. All my thoughts were spiraling,

(01:29):
and I looked down at my daughter who's sitting in
the trolley, and she was so scared of this thing.
She hadn't made a sound, but she was literally shaking
staring at this zombie. That's so sad, and she's like
her whole body was just shaking.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Understandably, it's fun when you know it's not real.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
She doesn't know it's not real.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Size of her house is zombie.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
So this poor thing. So I'm like trying to get
her away from the zombie, but she couldn't take her
eyes off it because she's like, what if it comes up?
She's right, So we're trying to like go around a
call and she's like, but no, anyway, So warning to
you if you're easily scared or your kids are, it's
already out.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
I find they even get me sometimes these because the
Costco get the American ones.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, yeah, they do the really big big ones and
a lerchy ones, so ones that go and they're scared.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
And they're beautifully engineered. You know.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
There will be a skeleton there and somehow the skeleton
is hinged in such a way the motion sensor, you
nose you'll coming toward it.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
And there was one I saw.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Where you put the you know. So it's like when
kids are tricker treating. They'll come up your drive and
they got to reach something and then as you as
you put your hand into.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Gets together, the lollies out. Yeah, the skeleton launches at you.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Yeah, you know, and testing whether or not you really
want those those lollies.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
You do Halloween.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Halloween, it's yeah, you know, thank God for those lollies
you because it's it's a funny balance.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
It is a funny balance. It's like such an enjoyable
holiday in that you get to eat lots of chocolate
and lollies, but scarring
