Speaker 1 (00:00):
Produced.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Chelsea does the most amazing job. So many fantastic guess
joining us on this show and it's all Heo're doing
and we're very privileged to have one of the stars
New South Wales and the greend Machine, Hudson Young regularly
dropping into the studio. But the show now doesn't just
happen produced Chelsea. Are you frustrated that Hudson wouldn't come
in today?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Yeah, a little bit. We haven't seen him in.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
A while, right, did you grill him, did you?

Speaker 4 (00:24):
No? No? No, not for me.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
It's unusual, you know, because he lives around the corner,
drop in on the way to training. Yeah, let's go
to him now on the telephone. Hearts and how are
you mate?

Speaker 4 (00:34):
You guys good? I can't come in this morning. We've
been at parties.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
There is reformer pilarates.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Yeah, reformer parties. Yeah. Yeah, it's something that I've been
I've had no choice to really get into it because
I've had a few groin and pubis issues, so I've
been trying to look after it.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
And Gabby says to me all the time, I need
to come along to the reform of polarates.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
The greatest challenge in the world.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
What happens is I go to ground up in Gungalen, right,
and every time I come to work after a pilarate
session or I say I'm going to Polartes after work,
the men in the office go to me, Oh yeah,
I love a good stretch and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Whoa wow, Wow's that?

Speaker 3 (01:18):
It is such a hard workout right.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
It is. It's quite humbling for me because you go
and from listening so many ways to barely being able
to hold your body weight up little machine.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
So what it's a lot of resistant stuff, is it.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Yeah? I do a lot of stuff. I'm on the
reformer more luck around my groin and it is in
a way of resistance because you've got to work against
the springs machine. Yeah, the springs Yeah incredible.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
So is it a program that just been built for
your recovery or a number of the boys doing it?
Because I have noticed it being worked into the training
for a number of the clubs ross the codes, not
just around Australia.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
But around the world. They're doing it as part of
the you know, the week to week.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Yeah, something we've done as a well. We've got a
little crew that the club of organized that need extra work,
so we just go over there ground Output Bruton there
they've recently opened and amazing studio. So yeah, no, I
loving it.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I love that you.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Go as a little crew because you'd be able to
laugh with each other about how humbling it is to
be there.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Yeah, it's a good laughing there.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
It is interesting that these stereotypes and these cliches, particularly
for blokes and you know, big belly footy players are
absolutely being torn down. And I know in the professional
wrestling world. One of the old wrestlers, he's an old
guys Na's Diamond Dallas Page, he started a yogat.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Studio in America.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Nice and all the old wrestlers go that they're extending
their lives, literally extending their lives because their bodies just
have been smashed up, you know, and they're extending their
lives by years in some cases decades. So these sorts
of different things in the training and difference makers, aren't
they made?

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Yeah, one hundred percent, especially because we get so used
to the same sort of training all the time, so
your body kind of adapts to it. So it's always
cool to change it up and get stronger in places
that you didn't even know that you could.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
You're going to be good for Sunday afternoons game at Goo.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Yeah yeah, sweet oas mate, I can't wait to get
back out there on Sunday at two o'clock. I love
day games and hopefully the weather stays nice like it
is now.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
It's much rain on the weekend, isn't it. I think
it is mentioned praying in the rain in the freezing cold.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Here when it rains is actually not too bad. It
kind of warms it up a little bit. But it's
been We've played in Sydney a couple of times this
year and it's been pretty wet up there, so hopefully
we've got a bit of experience under our belt under
the rain now.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Is it funny?

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Though?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
From a nostalgic point of view, I know as a
fan going to a two o'clock game just takes me back.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
That was the only time we watched.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Footy when I was growing up, because all the games
were on at two o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe
there was one Sunday, you know, Sunday game, but a
lunchtime game for you playing, does that feel nostalgic too?

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Yeah? I love it takes you back as like you said,
as a little kid, growing up playing through the day,
And yeah, I love just waking up, having a feed
and letting getting to go play footy. And then after
it as well, you're finish and it's only what four
o'clock and you're able to go out for dinner and
spend time with your family and friends. I love it.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I love it all right.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Well, you've just worked out what I'm doing on Sunday
and I was always going to the footy, but now
I'm going for a countery art you're talking.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I need to earn it. I need to get to
polarates beforehand.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
If you'd like to come along thirteen ten sixty we
got We've got some double passes to go and see
Hudson and the Green Machine on an absolute tear. I mean,
let's not take for granted the dominant performance of the
best team in the camp at the moment, and that
can tine news this weekend against Newcastle. Can't wait to
get out to goe O Medium at Geo Stadium.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Great to hear your your coming. Good mate with the
training and we'll see you out there kids.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
