Speaker 1 (00:05):
Despite withdrawing from the course, the recruit still has one
final challenge to overcome. Number two. You've faced the SAS
Australia course and you've been interrogated by the fearsome directing staff.

(00:26):
But that was just your warmer.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
You're in the real welf, Dan, Now.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Can you handle the final interrogation? Number two? When you
left the course? What was the first food you ate?

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Some really crappy food at the hotel. Would should have
been a lot better considering that I was starving and
dying for a pizza.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Number two? How did you train for SAS Australia.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Look, I had three weeks notice, but I tried to
sort of this marching with a pack, push ups, chin ups,
hanging off ropes, you know, all the basic sort of stuff,
running with heavyweights and depriving myself a bit of sleep too,
just to get used to it.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Who is the last recruit that you'd want to have
a fight with?

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Barry Hall. He's big, scary and it can fight, but
he's a nice bloke though. Top light.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Number two, which fellow recruit did you trust the least?
And why trust the least?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Let me think, Look, it'll probably be Ebony Bridges because
she was a bit of a scatter brain. There was
nothing against her personally, but she was not very organized
and I don't know, you don't really see it on
the show, but sort of just a bit of a
scatter brain. I guess.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Which directing staff scared you?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
The look that didn't really scare me. I love them.
I don't know that they were top blakes. So I'm
gonna be honest, but you know, to be fair that
as I've gone through the world, the guy who says
the least is usually the most hardcore. So Clint probably
as a soldier, I reckon he's probably done the most
fall on stuff because he just he don't give you much.
You know, Clint east Wood by name, Clint Eastood by experience.

(02:23):
I reckon.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Number two, Which task did you find the most difficult?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Definitely the log carry anything carrying heavy packs, like we
had fifty kilas at one point upper Hill, anything heavy
upper Hill, and there was a lot of that.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
There's a lot of that. Number two, you've been kidnapped
and one of your fellow recruits is tasked with rescuing you.
Who do you pick and why?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Barry Hall, He's big, he's bad, he's confident and you know,
if he hadn't got injured, he would have been the
number one star recruit at the end. I reckon. I
rate that guy highly, real guy, real man. If there
was a fight, he'd be the guy and hope would
be by my side.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Absolutely brilliant mate. Thank you very much for your time.
