Speaker 1 (00:00):
But like a dip tim it's like a dip time.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Wel mondo Oh, I liked that.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Thanks, Are you welcome? Yes, not too bad, maw, not
too bad. The other day we put up on our
Instagram what's the hottest book that you've read? And then
we've got a list of them which are up on
our Instagram as well Show and Tell podcasts where you
can find them. But one of the ones that came
through thick and Fast were the Park series that we
(00:40):
mentioned a while ago. Those the Hockey Kids Hockey series.
It's not a kid's hockey series, so they're not kids kids.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Hold on, I haven't actually read those. I downloaded the sample.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Of it or was it just a sample You started
to any sex stuff yet I was like, okay, you
gotta get me. But so they like a hockey team
or is it like a college hockey team.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
I don't know, because what I do with these books
is I'm not I'm not really reading them for what
like what they're about. I just want to get to
the sex beat. Yeah, you want through the sex bits? Yes?
So yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Anyway, there is a list there for you guys if
you want to go and look, because I think that
you know, most women our age are like, just give
me some sex in there. Although I'm going through a
huge stage of that Freedom McFadden. They're so who's that
she does? Like, you know, the boyfriend, the teacher, the housemaid.
(01:42):
Those they're all right. They're kind of like, I don't
even know if you'd write thriller or they're suspenseful and
then there's a bit of a twist at the end.
They're not sexy ones.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Oh okay, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
But I still really like them, and I've started listening
more to them on Order Ball, which I never ever like.
The first one I listened to was the teacher on
Audible by Freedom Family. The voices get annoying and you've
got to give it a bit till you get into it.
There's something nice about laying in bed and you can
have the light off and not have the physical book there.
(02:17):
Although I do love a physical book.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I do an audiobook for like a self help book
or whatever.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Yes, it's weird when it's my sister does them all
the time, where she does the character books and I'm like,
I've never done run. I will do like an autobiography
or something read by the person, but no, I've done.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Two, like does it sound right? No?
Speaker 3 (02:38):
The first one really annoyed me. Took half a book
to get into because it was a female reading, and
then when she drop into the male voice, it would
be a different voice, and I'd be like, I'm dumb.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
It's not a male. I thought it would be like
an acting thing, like there's a male indef.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
It's her doing. It be a very hard job to do.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Yeah, it would a big job. Though. You go in
and just talk and record and then.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Go, I'm not a good reader, like it would take me.
Like even doing on radio, You'd get ads that you'd
have to read and I'd have to redo them all
the time. It's like, I'm definitely not dyslexic, but I'm
not overly confident when it comes to it would take
me a long time to do.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, well, fair enough. And you'd have to know the
book so well before. You would have had to read.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
The book several times, I reckon before, so then you
know the inflections you know. Oh, no, no way, you'd
want to get paid a lot of money to do that.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Imagine doing a hot book. Yeah, an audiobook of the
hot book. I wonder what that's like.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, And then and then like you'd feel a bit
hornball while you were, or that at least the person
doing the recording on the other side would be feeling funny.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Oh my god. I have downloaded a few books that
I've recently read. I mean, some some are so look,
maybe it's just unrealistic to me, but they're not actually unrealistic.
I don't know. But there's been this theme in a
couple of them of a woman taking on two guys,
(04:10):
but both of them inside of her at the same time.
I'm not talking about double penetration. I'm talking about both
and f no, no, I'm talking about two dicks.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
That doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
I need to No, No, two dicks in the vagina.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yeah, I don't forget it. I'm reading it and I'm like,
how do the bodies physically fit? Like that's a I
mean like when people are like they wouldn't fit in
because of my hole, it's like a baby comes out
of there, So you could physically get them in there.
I don't think it would be that comfortable, but how
are the men positioned?
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Look, I don't know, but I couldn't. It's not a
turn on for me because I can't get pass the
pain part, like that could not feel good. It would
the pain of the stretching of that's.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Not hot at all though, that's so hectic. So were
they in the books that you've read?
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, but these are also like you know, some people
would be offended by some of these books. And also
when you're reading a sexy book with the intention of
it being a turn on, like some stuff's not going
to be politically correct in right, Oh my god. There
is this set of books. The first one is called Priest,
(05:20):
the seconds called Sinner, and the last one's called Saint.
I haven't read the last one, but the first two.
The first is a guy who's a priest, but he's
a hot priest and he meets this woman and they
just start this affair but.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Like like yours are inteurigance perfect, but it's it's really good.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
So that's called Priest. And then the second one is
Sinner and it's about his brother who is like a
real womanizer. He starts this affair with this young girl
who's training to be a nun.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
But it's like so it's all these so that's own already.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yeah, there's like, yeah, that was really good. And also
another one which sounds so fucked up, but it's hot.
It's called Credence, and it's a girl whose parents die
and she goes to live with her step uncle I
think it is uncle hang On and two and his
(06:21):
two sons. They live like on some rural property. But
they didn't know each other, so it's like meeting each
other for the Yeah, it's not like they grew up
with like your uncle. It's not like that, which I
mean doesn't we're not saying that makes it right, but
it's yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
The uncle and then takes all of them.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
She takes all of them, the two sons and the
I mean a spoiler alert.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Like god, the two sons and the uncle.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Do they know that she's their niece? And no, no, no, no, no,
that they're all doing it. Yeah, look, I don't want
to give too much away, Okay, don't man. Yeah, but
it's it's sexy if you take if you can read it,
and no, this isn't.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Real, like yeah, you've got to just read it.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Just for the hotness. It's really good.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Okay, so priest.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Since they're really good, and I'll keep Did you read.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Them or did you audio book them?
Speaker 2 (07:25):
No, Red, I have never listened to an audiobook like that.
I feel like, especially with audio books, if you don't
gel with the person's voice.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Oh, it's extremely challenging, That's what I mean. That's but
if you persist long enough, you can. It's also when
I go to do a meditation, like I've got this app.
I'll tell you or what the app is now, but
if the voice is annoying, so sometimes I'll sit there
for It's called insight timer and you can do a
paid version or another version, and they do the box
(07:53):
breathing they do like yoga nidra, which is you know,
your full body scan and stuff like that. But I
don't like a man's voice and an english man's voice
for some reason.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
I'm like english men, aren't they swimming English?
Speaker 3 (08:07):
A lot of them are American women who I like
now to, but I find just a couple and I
just repeat those ones. It's so important to light the
voice or you just can't do it the whole time.
I'm annoyed.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Yeah you have to, Yeah, you have to.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
So chat g PT you wanted to talk about so long.
I thought it was chat GBT too, just so you know,
like I have to consciously say pee, I think people
just shortened it to chat now, haven't by chat chat chat.
The other day this hit me right, and I felt
embarrassed when I realized what my issue with it is
(08:44):
because it feels very personal and it probably sounds wrong,
but I'm just going to say it. Yeah, I've noticed
like people who say, like say they write captions or whatever,
and it's like, all of a sudden, the caption is
written like so great and it's witty and it's smart,
that's so good or whatever, and I know it's not them.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
It's like you can see it.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
The thing I struggle with is I'm not good at
many things, right, but writing that is one thing I
feel good at and it makes me feel I've got
something special. That's one thing that I can do. Yeah,
it's taken that away from you.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
I know what you mean.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
It's not special in.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
So many industries and stuff like that. It would be
the same way you'd be like, I'm really good at this.
That was like, I feel like I'm really good at
coming up with content ideas. Yes, And I've been pushing
out to a couple of publications to write get some
more writing, and I'm like, they do you do use
paid writers, but I'm like, they almost don't need to
(09:50):
because this is the thing. It's better. GPT is better.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
I don't know if it's better because I still feel
like I can spot. I still feel like I read it,
but it's getting so good, Like.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
I just don't read them enough though, I don't like
as soon as I know it, I don't. I don't
read it like I need when i'm reading to go, oh,
this is this person, this journalist just sat there and
read written this as opposed to it being AI.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
I can see a place for it. Let's say you've
got a kid who has learning difficulties and you know,
like say they've got to write something. I can see
there's a place for that, because otherwise it's difficult for
them to do it. Like and even just in life
you've got to send a letter somewhere or whatever. It
just takes the pressure off those administrative things. But in
(10:43):
terms of a skill, yes, it's like if you took
a pill and you could run as fast as you sang, oh, well,
then you're not special. He's not special anymore.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Yeah, I know what you mean. I just really hates
like it gets everything down pat. I think I am
very nigh eve though, like when you say captions and
stuff like that, like I don't notice. It was only
about six months ago. I sent a bit like a
video of those babies doing the catwalks in costumes, going,
(11:12):
oh my god, look I'm gorgeous. These babies are thinking
how do they get babies to walk the catwalk? And
my friend was like, that's AI. I was like, what
the fuck? Like it took takes me a long time
to catch on, and my friend was sending me these
text these poems that were incorporating my name and really
specific stuff. I'm like, I didn't know you could do this.
(11:33):
And then ten minutes later another one. I'm like, Ben,
this is wild. He sent like five before he's like
it's AI, babe. I was like, oh, oh my god.
Like I've caught on more now, but I'm still very
behind with what's what.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
I still don't really understand me.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
I don't have to stand it properly that you have
to Well, we're gonna have our kids are going to
and that's the thing is, it's like jobs are still
going to exist, obviously, but the jobs are going to
be AI linked. So it's like the everyone has to
know how to use AI for their work.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
But for people who, for example, work in the creative field,
like in my other role, I have to come up
with you know, like graphics and stuff for social media
and all that stuff. You're going to be able to say,
make me a graphic with this, put the words in,
and then it's just going to come up. You're not
going to need anyone to do that.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
I know. It's really scary, I know, but then yeah,
there's a way where we have to get crafty of
learning how to incorporate I don't know. I don't know.
I just don't know enough about it. I don't even
use one percent of it, Like I'll just constantly put
medical stuff in there or put ideas. Like even for
(12:51):
our podcast, I never use it to think of ideas
because we could go give me five ideas to talk
about my podcast is so female led podcast, dad like
it would spit out good ideas for us to talk about.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
I still feel it's cheating, same. I feel like it's
cheating same so much.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
So much of it feels like.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
It's cheating, But I can't get past that.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
The medical stuff has been good for me though, Like
that's where I'm like, Wow, this is amazing because I'll
go and it will go. Did you want to know
more about this? I'll be like yes, And it's just
led me on different paths for trying different things or
questioning my doctors about different things. So there's a definite
pert to it. But overall it fucking terrifies me.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Yeah. Well, for medical stuff, there was a study they
did of women who had breast cancer and they put
all their scans that they'd had five years earlier where
it wasn't detected right, and they put the scans into
chat GPT, and chats GPT saw the cancer when like
current medical stuff couldn't see it. And so that's stuff
(13:57):
that I mean, that's potentially life saving. Sit totally, you
can detect cancer, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Imagine So hope if you will get here in that way, yeah,
I think in ways like that it will be hugely beneficial.
But it's also like accounting and stuff like that. Like
if your kid was at school UNI studying that now,
it would be like, well they've got to pivot in
a big way.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Yeah, no, fuck anyway anyway or not.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
