Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, we've been talking about this for weeks, the Fairmont
Homes Christmas Lights competition, and it is time. It's time
to hand out. I mean, there can really only be
one winner of the Fairmont Hosts Most Innovative Display Award,
and for that we have in the senior Marketing coordinator
from Fairmont Homes, Chloe Luter.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Chloe welcome, Hello, Thank you for having me.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
What a job you have had going around my car
and looking at all of these houses.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yeah, so much fun. I mean, everybody put in so
much effort just to go around and see the community
spirit and everybody really getting into their decorations and lights
was beautiful.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
I mean, before we get to the most Innovative Display Award,
can you just point out a few of the highlights, Like,
what have you seen in this journey you've been on
to try and pick a winner.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah, there's been a lot of tech that people have
implemented into their lights. We do have Luke Denton in Blackwood,
which we wanted to give a shout out for. He
went to the effort of actually creating his own app
to let visitors control his light display. Really fantastic.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
So you can go down there and drop in your
own song or.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Something or yeah, you can go down and connect up
with your phone bya the app and control all his lights,
which is very exciting.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Anymore highlights? Anyone else you want to point out that
that's really sort of gone above and beyond before we
get to the winner.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah, we've got Sarah Randall in Surrey Downs. She used
flu ro shot glasses to create a huge snowman and
Christmas ball balls.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Fantastic.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
It's really good.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
On our street, We've got one person that's put lights
out and they just wrapped it around the tree out
the front. They're all the same color. So really not
a whole lot going on in my neighborhood. All right, Chloe,
let's do this. Let's find out who has won the
Most Innovative Display Award and gets a nice little cash prize. Please, beautiful,
would you do the honors?
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Drum roll, drum roll? So the Fairmont Holmes Most Innovative
Display Award winner is Brett McNabb from Aberfoyle Pass.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, Na, okay, what's Brett? Why is Brett the most innovative?
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Brett put a fantastic snow machine on top of his
roof for all the kids. He had a massive party,
lots of excitement as well. He had a giant Christmas
tree in the front that was also controlled by his
phone and he could actually make patterns in the actual
giant Christmas tree in the front yard. A lot of effort.
(02:22):
He makes half of his decorations as well. They did
a fantastic job have.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
A fall park with snow. Who would have thought that's
just the joy you get from the Christmas Lights competition. Well, Chloe,
thank you so much for coming in and thank you
Fairmont Holmes for supporting this beautiful cause.
