who's gathered around to say goodbye and good luck to
Jack Post at the back of this horse drawn car.
Have you seen this, Jack, I've seen it.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
It says just quit. That's right, that's right.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
This is how everyone should leave their job, basically in style,
to go to the future. So Jack looks like a
boy king please. Gordy is crawling around that. He's hello, Gordy,
He's he's gonna and why he's gonna fall out the
back of the horse storm carriage.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
He's trying to call her climb out.

They don't come with booster seat's I'm afraid Jack, How
does it feel?
Speaker 4 (05:23):
It feels amazing? Are you coming in here with me?
Or are you waving goodbye.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
For we wave goodbye.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
This this next part of the journey isn't one for
me and you, my friend, it's me.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
It's it's you, Bianca and Gordy.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
I'm ready, okay, So how do you get the horses
to start moving?
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Do you give him a like?
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Has everyone smelt that as well? I thought it was
Gordy maybe needing a nappy change. It's actually the horses.
This is the last song, and it's a perfect song
for Jackie Boys.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
The Christian O'Connell show podcast.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
We are outside the front of the radio station, inside
a beautiful, pearly white horse drawn carriage, the kind that
a king would be, and it's fitting.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Jack had no idea.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
His wife Bianchor and his son Gordy are in there
with him. Are we ready to say goodbye and good
luck to the next part of Jackie Boy's life? Yes,
let's do it.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Ithers seemed very keen to gain it.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Then did you hear that dead eyed voice saying yes?
Speaker 1 (06:16):
One less voice on the show.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
More time for Patsy's stories, more glasses being lost and
amazing stories recounted Patsy, what do you want to say?
Because the three of us began the show almost seven
years ago. What do you want to say about our
time together, Patsy. You know I love you Jack, and
I think we've grown together on air, and I just
I love you so much and you go with so
much love and warmth, and we're going to miss you.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
I'm going to miss you so much and given error
for the show. Yeah, I feel the same way I
have transformed.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
So you're leaning out of that carriage like it's a
normal thing for you. I've never seen anyone so at home.
Even royals look at ease in a carriage. Jack's leaning
out like this is just a normal.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Friday we have.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
It has been an amazing, the most transformational period of
my life. I look back at myself before I started
the show and I'm so so young, and I just
think of how much growth I've had since then. And
that is so much thanks to you guys and everyone
who works on the show.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
So thank you so much. Oh lots of love for us.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Now, Patsy, could I just you passed out to Rio,
because I know Rio was high by Jack and I.
He just came in for the socials and he's also
grown for the last couple of years, and he'll have
a bigger role on the show. When I spoke to
him earlier this week about that, I said, look, it
might be too much pressure for you to sit in
his seat or stay where you are now.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
Anyways, No, I'm fine getting to that chair.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
He's been eyeing it up for years and finally he's
finally got the chair. Ria, what do you want to say,
because actually you've been in the studio with me and
Jack over the last couple years. We've shared so many
laughs and tears over the years. It's been an incredible journey,
isn't it.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Mate.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
I've spent probably more time with you, Jack and Christian
in the last six years than probably anyone else.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
On planet Earth. That's true.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
And you know, if I could run it back a
thousand times, I'd do with you again. I love you
so I love you guys so much, Thank you so much.
And this is such a fitting, stupid yes way to end.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
It feels like the only way I could end, with
you leaving a horse drawn carriage at ten to nine.
Right now we are, we do have to say goodbye,
Jackie boy, good luck, my friend. I wish you well.
It's been a ride, and now you must ride off
into your future sea Gordy Sea banker. Okay, your riders
can now take Jack away into his future.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Goodbye Jack Post, good luck to you next.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
He is actually now departing in a horse drawn carriage.
They're clipping, he clopping down the street. Right now, I
am walking after. It is the last time I'm gonna
see Jackie Boy on the radio.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Good luck by friend, Bye bye Jack. Thanks to the
ride by Friend.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
We love you.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
