Christian? Happy Christmas?
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Happy Christmas? And Jenny, what would you love for Christmas
this year?
Speaker 2 (00:43):
I actually have everything I could ever want. I've had
a very challenging year, but a really blessed you. I
would love it if my daughter could receive something. She's
had really poor health. She has an ongoing condition that
caused one of her organs to fail this year, and
in March I donated a kidney to her and she's

doing really really well.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Oh my god, what a year.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Foregle's really financially hard for her being helped to support her,
but obviously she doesn't have money to go and spoil herself.
I would really love it you could treat her absolutely
a spa day or a night away for both of you.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Let's get both.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
I have everything I need her and her partner that
would be amazing I have everything that I could ever
ask for this year.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Jenny, what an amazing mum. First of all, you are
what a thing to do for your daughter.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Look, honestly I appreciate that Christian, but like you're a dad,
I know that if your kids needed it, you'd do
it and you wouldn't think twice. And I was just
very fortunate.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
We all say that we would do it, but to
actually do it is a very very big thing. And
what is your daughter's name?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Her name's Alie.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
And how is she now?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
She's twenty eight, and how is she?
Speaker 1 (01:48):
She's feeling better, so how she's doing amazing? She's got
a super mum's kidney.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
I have kind of said to her, you've you've heard
your pressy for the year. We have a funny they take.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
They take our wallets and sometimes they take our orders.
It takes to raise these precious kids. Oh my god,
what a year for you and your fa.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
It's been a bit tough, but there's plenty of people
out there doing it a lot tougher. But if I
could do something for her, it would mean everything.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
So a spa day, yeah, yeah, something like.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
That away, something to just that she can't spend it
on bills that she just has to go and do
something fun.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Well we will. I'm going to put a call through
to Andre at the Langham and I know that he
will look after her and her team there as well
and a partner, and then have an amazing time. Patsy
can donate not a kidney, but one of her nights.
Well I've only got one left, so that's what we're
going to give away. In genuinely, when Patsy's organ she
will love the spa at the Langham and treated like

a queen as she should be. Absolute thank you and Jenny,
I want to offer that to you as well, whether
you go with your daughter or she's going to go
with the partner, but you deserve that too. One amaze
your inspirational mum.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
You are Thank you so much, and I just want
to encourage everyone to every year when you have your
blood tests with your doctor, please ask them to run
a kidney panel because you can be down to five
percent kidney function and not know.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Is that right?
Speaker 2 (03:10):
I didn't know that actually, Organs, yeah, you can. You
can lose ninety five percent of your kidney function and
not know, so you can get it down.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
When you get a blood test, you can just get it.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Tested a kidney panel. Yeah, most doctors will do it,
but just check that they have and like you know,
she's a young, healthy person. You know it's it. You
know you need to look after yourself. If that's the
one thing you're taking to next year's your news resolution,
please do that.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
I will do that, and I hope everyone listening taste
that as well. Jenny, have a lovely Christmas in you yet,
and I hope the twenty twenty six is better for
you and Ellie and your family.
