Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bad, Sir.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Kay ran Rough.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
We all know Kansas City likely leans on TATA for
its team anthems for obvious reasons, but maybe, just maybe
dual leaper's hit record. Who denie, We'll get a run
this week. After the most improbable win you may ever see,
even for NFL's standards, the Kansas City Chiefs look down

(00:42):
and out up sixteen fourteen Denver had found themselves on
the cusp of the unspeakable the unthinkable. But Kansas City
were less. Tata were more do a leaper whodini when
they stood on the line and they blocked this field goal.

(01:10):
Kick it to it, Tex s, Tex, you sit, my man.
Kevin Harlan could not believe it on CBS, A thirty

(01:32):
five yard walk off game winner, what would have been
was blocked and them Kansas City Chiefs are nine and zip,
nine and zip if you don't mind. Elsewhere across the
NFL they didn't win. But my goodness, gracious, it was

(01:54):
a ball game. Baltimore and Cincinnati, they played a barn
burner earlier in the season. They played another burner in
this one. I'll get to the Ravens in a moment,
but my man, forget about preseason, forget about offseason, forget
about practice. Jamar Chase exploded. Now, Burrow was big as well,

(02:17):
four hundred and twenty eight yards, four touchdowns, but it
was about Jama Chase. Eleven catches, two hundred and sixty
four receiving yards, and three three touchdowns, including this bad boy.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
An averaging about four and a half yards per play.
Burrow fires caught Chase. They're trying to chase him down
and they cannot touchdown.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
How special, Yes, he's special, Kirk cab Street. That put
them up twenty one seven. But these Ravens are a
good football team. That was early in the second term
twenty one to seven, Bengals up, but Lamar Jackson said,
I'm looking for my third MVP. Two hundred and ninety passyards,
four touchdowns through the air for Lamar Jackson, and the

(03:14):
Ravens got away with a thirty five to thirty four victory.
Surprisingly in a sense, the Bengals went for two at
the end to try and walk off and win it,
and I think on the road that's a good decision.
Let's not leave it to a coin toss. Let's make

(03:35):
sure the game is in the hands of your best player.
Joe Burrow and his superstar Jamar Chase. But it was
about the Ravens, less about my Bengals. There four and six.
The Ravens are seven and three, one of the best
teams across the NFL. Speaking across the NFL, the Bills,
they rolled to eight and two. They got the job

(03:56):
done in Indianapolis. New Orleans responded from a terrible stretch,
a terrible stretch as the interim coach Sugar Rush hits
again twenty to seventeen. The Saints won at home against
the Falcons. San Francisco got back into the winners least,

(04:16):
and they got Christian McCaffrey back twenty three to twenty
despite Deebo Samuel took a swete at the long snapper
physically took a swate. That was madness. The La Chargers
may finally be trustworthy. They took care of the hapless
and hopeless Tennessee Titans twenty seven to seventeen, and they

(04:39):
moved to six and three under Jimmy Harbaugh. What can
they do in the season. The Panthers have won more
games now than the Giants, and the same amount as
the New Jersey Nets. Sorry, the New Jersey Jets been
calling them the New Jersey Jets because they don't deserve

(05:00):
to be the New York Jets, and it is time
for the Jets experiment to end. However you manage to
go about this, I don't think you can move Rogers on.
You just brought in Davante Adams. You do have some
young talent Wilson and bres All. The defense, for a
defense that's got such a high ceiling of the floor

(05:24):
is unbelievably low, unbelievably low. The less said about the
jets thirty one to six loss in Arizona, the better.
Let's talk about King Kyler Kyler Murray and the Cards say,
look all right, six and four in the season. They've
got some playmakers on both sides of the ball. Buddha
Baker gave that Jets offense headaches all day. James Connor

(05:49):
is having a resurgence season, and we know Marvin Harrison
Junior is a beast as well. And finally, the early slate,
the Early and afternoon slate Dallas, they got to Hammit
again at home. They are winless zip and five on
the season at home, whilst Philly moved to seven and two,

(06:09):
dishing out that twenty eight point butt whooping in Dallas
and it led to edge Russia. Michah parsons he has
lit a fuse within the social media TV sports TV
world with these comments about Mike McCarthy. And you can

(06:31):
decide and determine for yourself whether they are about Mike
McCarthy at all, but certainly the first time you hear them,
they're interesting. Have a listen for yourself. Pel Europe's contracts
or outside.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
There's of course going to be questions, what's the sentiment
to the sad in the locker room? And what do
you tell people who are worried.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
About what.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
You know that's above my peak? Great about if Mike
is koaching again next year, well, you know, are coaching
side coaching. You know, Mike can lead and go wherever
he wants, but the guys, you know, I kind of
feel bad for his guys like Zach Martin and guys
who might be on their last year, on their way out,
you know, because that's what I want to go hold
a trophy for, you know, you want to win games

(07:14):
and do great things with those type of legends who
put in more time and work than Mike McCarthy ever did,
So those are the kind of guys that I have
so much sympathy and.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Hurt for him. So there you go. Those are the
guys Zach Martin, excuse me, those are the guys I
want to hold the trophy for because they've put in
more work and more time than Mike McCarthy ever did. Now,
I think that's a reference in terms of what Mike
McCarthy and how long he's been in Dallas versus how

(07:46):
long Zach Martin's beenning Dallas. I think there is a
world where you can say this is overblown, but certainly
the first time you hear it, and for those who
want to stick the boots in to the Cowboys, he
has certainly given them the perfect amount of fodder. It
led the way Monday morning in the States. He's given
them the perfect amount of fodder. As Micah Parsons, Sunday

(08:07):
Night football looked a beauty on paper, and it played
out that way, but in a strange, in a strange way,
Houston began picking off Jared Goff and that wouldn't be
the last time that happened, and they got a Joe
Mixon touchdown out of it. But as I said, this
was a strange, strange game. Jared Goff had thrown four

(08:30):
picks on the season, and he threw five in this
game alone. C J. Stroud got in on the act.
He threw a couple back to the lines and for
a few drives it was like our quarterback's going to
throw it back to your team and vice versa. It
was strange. But these Lions tell us they're built on grit,

(08:56):
and I think we've believed it. We've seen it. We've
seen them steamroll teams. We've seen them put up thirty
and forty and forty five points in games. But this
was a different type of grit. It was Jimmyer Gibbs
and Amon Ras Saint Brown. In the second half. It

(09:16):
was the defense stiffening and the Lions roared back from
twenty three to seven down at halftime. They held the
Texans scoreless in the second half and looked some of
that's on Houston and c J. Stroud and the guys
that weren't there. But the Lines punched in thirteen unanswered

(09:38):
in the last quarter, including including what Jake Bates was
able to do at the death a walk off or
close enough too. He went bang, He went bang, laid
in the piece and Dan Campbell. This is another situation

(09:58):
where Dan Campbell has handled things absolutely perfectly, absolutely perfectly.
He hasn't wanted to put the young man out there
too soon. He's wanted to wait. He's gone for it
on fourth down, attacking some heat. He's kicked it away,
waiting for his young kicker to mature and get experience,

(10:22):
and he was handsomely rewarded on Sunday Night Football, taking.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
His whole town.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
He's got a fifty two yarder for a come from
behind winds for the agents, or fifty.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Two for the Winds, just in southing up right, take
bits hop town, heroes, and the Lions have come.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
All the way back. The Lions come all the way back.
As you heard Mark Turrico say it on NBC. I
think that's NBC. What a comeback. And they're the best
team in football as far as I'm concerned. They're eight
and one. The loss was costly for Houston. They're six

(11:15):
and four. They are still two games clear and the
AFC South. But the Lines are the best team in
football as far as I am concerned. And then finally
Monday Night Football, it looked like an okay game on paper,
it was a bit of a weird one, but in
the end it was keen enough on Miami to get

(11:35):
the job done certainly cover the two and a half.
They did that plus a bit more twenty three point
fifteen in the end in La So the Rams are
four and five the Dolphins are three and six. Two
was fair twenty of twenty eight two oh seven yards
one touchdown at one pick. Tyry Kill got in the
end zone, but only had sixteen yards receiving. Jalen Waddle

(11:57):
looked a bit better fifty seven yards for the Rams.
Stafford unable to find a pass touchdown, Karen Williams well
held on the ground. Nkuha and Cup did their thing
one hundred and seventy eight odd yards between them, but
in the end it was too good to Miami. You're

(12:20):
with him. Let's quickly, let's quickly have a look at
some of the standings. Who leads each of the divisions
where basically halfway or a bit more than. In the
AFC East, it's the Buffalo Bills at eight and so
they lead that division by some way. The Steelers are
seven and two. They lead the AFC North, but the

(12:41):
Ravens are right there seven and three, and we've got
that game this week, only a couple of days away,
if you don't mind. Cannot wait for that contest, Lamar Jackson,
Mike Tomlin, Russell Wilson, Derrick Henry. Cannot wait for that
game in Baltimore, a three and a half point favorite

(13:02):
on the road in Pittsburgh, if you don't mind. So
that'll be massive in determining who leads the AFC North
moving forward. The Texans, as I mentioned six and four,
they lead the AFC South Kansas City obviously as the
NFL's only unbeaten nine and zip. The Chargers are right
there at six and three. If we did start the

(13:22):
playoffs today, it'll be the Chargers and Broncos as wild
card teams in the NFC. The Eagles seven and two.
The fans don't like the coach. The coach doesn't like
the fans, but they're seven and two and they're getting
it done. Washington hot on their heels at seven and three.
The Lions, as I mentioned, eight and one, they lead

(13:42):
the best division in football seven and two, The Vikings
six and three, The Packers and only a couple of
weeks ago, you could have had the Bears in there
as well. But you have a look at the division
in total, You've got eight and one, seven and two, three,
and then the Bears at four and five. So he've

(14:04):
got twenty five wins and only eleven losses in that division.
Not bad, not bad at all. The Falcons are six
and four, they lead the NFC South by two games,
and the Cardinals. Did you have them leading the NFC
West at the halfway mark or they do six and
four in front of the Niners who need to get

(14:24):
healthy and need to get in a rhythm badly. Statistically,
Joe Burrow, He's carrying the Bengals alongside his teammate from LSU,
Jamar Chase. Burrow leads the NFL for passyards and passing touchdowns.
He's tied with Bacon Mayfield. Chase is the league leader
in receiving yards. He's nineteen to shy of one thousand,

(14:48):
and he already has ten touchdowns and did not practice
or participate in preseason at all. Derrick Henry has already
had a Pro Bowl season with seven games to go,
even one hundred and twenty yards and a dozen scores unbelievable. Unbelievable.
Some of the stats being put up by players this

(15:08):
year is incredible. You're wid all right, a little bit
of fantasy football. I'm mildly interested. I'm making a run.
I think I won three on the spin. I gave
Tommy Lynch, not the Richmond Tommy Lynch, the Adelaide. Tommy
Lynch gave him a beating on the weekend on four
and six, and as I said, of one three in

(15:29):
a row, Jamar Chase flat out carrying me scored fifty
last week. I've got Rory the Desk laired up next,
and he is known to be a fantasy football savant,
a guru. He's six and three and he's going to
throw names like Jalen Hurtz, Justin Jefferson, Coop Cup and

(15:50):
brisall at me. Wish me luck, O'L probably need it.
You're wis here we go.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
Money talks the money, all right, Let's get to some
good stuff here with a Fab five.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
I was feeling so good last week going into Week ten,
I wanted to turn the Fab five into a splendid six,
a sensational six, because I was desperate to get Miami
plus two and a half in I couldn't and we
know how that went. That would have been another tick.
But I did go four and one on the weekend.

(16:38):
It was smooth sailing twenty eight and twenty two in
the season, and beginning to feel good about this after
starting one and four. After starting one and four, we've
gone twenty seven and eighteen since. But we shall never
get complacent, because thou who getteth complacent gets their ass beat,

(17:03):
all right. As I said, the Bengals plus six and
a half at Baltimore, that was never really in danger,
and then it was. And then we covered Indianapolis plus
four and a half versus the Bills. We look like
we're going okay. But ultimately Josh Allen took over and
the Colts couldn't keep up. New Leans plus three and

(17:24):
a half hosting the Falcons. They won that game outright.
Always lean into I learned this from smarter men than me.
Always lean into the home divisional underdog. The divisional underdog
at home, they get up for it. They're well versed
on their opposition. The crowd's going crazy. They play above themselves.

(17:46):
The Charger is minus seven and a half against Tennessee.
They did the job there. They won that game by
double digits, and I was keen Houston straight up. But
they did cover the three and a half points. Again
the lines in what was a classic. Now again check
the socials. But this is where I'm leaning. I've got six.

(18:07):
I've got to turn them into five. The Lions and
Jags plus forty seven and a half total points. I
think the Lions will score thirty to thirty five on
their own, particularly at home. Chicago plus six and a
half hosting Green Bay. This is where we lean into
the divisional underdog, the Bears at home against the Pack.

(18:37):
The Bears will be up for it. Soldier Field to
be rocking. The Bears have been playing terribly. They'll be
getting wound up in the media all week. This is
the spot you're getting almost a touchdown. Cleveland and New
Orleans plus forty four and a half total points. This
may seem a strange one, but you look at these quarterbacks.

(18:58):
They might score seven points for the opposition defense. But
famous Jameis Winston returns to New Orleans where he was
for a little moment, and Derek Carr's back in the mix,
and Derek Carr's long ball, his deep ball was back
with a bang last week in the win over the Falcons,

(19:20):
So we'll take the over forty four and a half there. Cleveland,
New Orleans. Miami minus six and a half against Vegas
will snap that up. That was a strange number, strange
number in South Florida. That could be the best of
the weekend. Atlanta plus two and a half at Denver,
but I'm really keen. I'd love three and a half.

(19:44):
I think Atlanta can win that straight up, but it
feels like a game that will be decided on a
walk off kick. So I do want three and a half,
but we'll think about it. We'll consider it at two
and a half. It might be the first one we
leave out. Finally, Baltimore and Pittsburgh under forty seven and
a half points. I know Baltimore have been putting up

(20:05):
points and so too have Pittsburgh since Russell Wilson has
stepped in, but this will be a hard fought, knock
them down, push him back divisional clash. I can see
this being twenty three to twenty. So I'm going to

(20:25):
take the under in Baltimore and Pittsburgh. So to summarize,
I've got to turn six into five. So stay tuned.
To the Socials later in the week. The Lions and
Jags plus forty seven and a half. That'll be in there,
the Bears plus six and a half hosting the Packers
that'll be in Cleveland, and New Orleans plus forty four
and a half, Miami minus six and a half against Vegas,

(20:47):
the Falcons plus two and a half at Denver, and
Baltimore and Pittsburgh to go under forty seven and a half.
The Fab five. We're twenty eight and twenty two and
we're rolling all right. That's pretty much a wrap. The
NFL is just cruising along. Week ten is in the books.

(21:08):
Week eleven not too far away as well, So looking
forward to week eleven some of the bigger games on
the slate. It all gets busy on Friday, Ossie time.
Washington and Philadelphia. That games and the NFC East showdown,
a battle for the top in the NFCA seven and
three Washington seven and two Philadelphia. I mentioned Baltimore at Pittsburgh.

(21:33):
That'll be a beauty. That'll be a downright beauty. We've
got a few stinkers along the way, the Seahawks and
forty nine as will be of some interest. The market's
still very friendly to the forty nine ers, and low
and behold, Low and behold, I've buried the lead. Monday

(21:55):
Morning hop asst eate CBS. You know that means Tony
Romo and Bill Nance, Jim Nance, I should say, excuse me.
Kansas City at Buffalo are combined seventeen into Josh Allen
Patrick Mahomes. This will be a beauty. The Bills are

(22:15):
two and a half point favorites, that's a surprise. The
Chiefs are unbeaten, undefeated. Someone remind the boys and girls
in Vegas. So that'll be an absolute cracker. And then
Monday Night Football on paper at the start of the
year look like it would be a beauty. It's an
all Texas showdown Houston at Dallas. But the way Dallas

(22:38):
are going three and six Houston minus seven points, so
they're better. Games. In week eleven, Kansas City traveling to Buffalo,
We've got Baltimore traveling to Pittsburgh, and we've got the
Commanders and the Eagles going at it in Philly. That's
all from me. Week ten's in the books. Week eleven

(22:58):
not far away. Keep following along on the socials. My
name is J. J. Will Chat again next week,
