It was an incredible season of 'The Voice' this year and last night the all-female finale wowed us with their amazing performances. But this moment really blew everyone away. It wasn't just the studio audience who loved it the whole of Australia did too because that song, along with a stella catalogue of hits, secured 19-year-old Alyssa's position as the winner of 'The Voice' for 20-25.

Well, it really was an incredible season of the Voice
this year, and last night the all female finale, Wow
doess with their amazing performances. But this moment really blew
everyone away.

We'd been so excited, right, yeah, one hundred percent. And
we spoke about your journey on the series. We caught
up with you on Friday. Yes, so you were plucked
from the audience and then to auditions to switching teams
mid season. You really did have it all, didn't you.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
I was just I was so lucky like to be
mentored by Ronan and mentored by Kate. It was the
whole thing was just such an incredible experience.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
We got to take a look at this breathtaking performance
with you and your coach Kate Miller Heideke last night.
These duets are really special, but this was mind boggling.
Let's have a look. Yeah, it didn't look like mum

and dad were into that very much. Talk us through
that performance, because they kind of can be kind of complicated.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Right, Yeah, I was really I'm not gone. I was
scared to perform with Kate because you know, she's obviously
got so much experience and she's such an amazing vocalist.
But yeah, it was really amazing to share the stage
with her.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah, and to see what goes into a chewette like that, right, Yeah,
it was so amazing.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
She Kate's obviously worked really hard. I've worked really hard,
and yeah, I think we just really sounded really cool together.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Yeah, so you've who's next on the list? Who else
would you like to collab with?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
I don't know, there's so many amazing people. I mean,
I would love to colab with some of the artists
as well.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
From this season of the Voice from the season fellow contestants.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yes, especially my battle partner Elophon. We've been chatting. But yeah,
there's just so many possibilities.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
What's the coolest text you've got from family or friends?
I don't even know blowing up to would?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yes, Yeah, it's just lots of supportive and kind words. Congratulations,
like I knew I believed in you, Like it's just
really amazing to hear that.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
One hundred thousand dollars as well.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Have you thought that through?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I'm still trying to process it, but I'm definitely going
to put it towards starting my music career, maybe releasing
some songs.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
That's the goal, because I've read somewhere you're going to
give up the job at bunning Is is that right? Yes?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Yes, yeah, I've been really appreciative from what Bunnings has
done for me, but yeah, I feel like it's just
time to move on to a new chapter in my life.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Have you heard from some of your work notes I have.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Yeah, so they've all just said congratulations and been really
supportive as well.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
I'd love you to sing the Bunnings theme song, Hey
will listen to congratulations? What's happening today? You must be
so tired? What's happening? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
I'm very tired. Just a couple more interviews, a couple
of phone calls, but just spending us the day with
my family.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Yeah. And then to do you write music? Are you
going to like to you?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah? Yeah, I write a lot of original songs and
I've been working with some producers from UNI, so hopefully
maybe end of this year, start of next year, we'll
start releasing some music with.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Stuff for Congratulations. That's a big season and a huge
one and we're so excited to see what you do next.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
