Speaker 1 (00:00):
All through over half a million of her followers, Chloe
Fisher is living the life that most of us can
only dream of. Alongside her DJ hubby and full time
Fungui Fisher. Chloe's life seems filled with glamorous parties, exotic holidays,
and a list encounters. But behind the scenes, Chloe was
quietly enduring a deeply personal struggle that is her journey

(00:22):
to motherhood.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
After four miscarriages, eight rounds of IVF, and surgery for
Endometrios's hope was fading. The light at the end of
the tunnel grew dim until a miracle happened. Chloe felt
pregnant naturally, and just like that, baby Bobby entered the
world and stole the hearts of Chloe, Paul, and of
course their global audience are Now She's opening up like
never before in her new memoir titled Always You, sharing

(00:46):
the raw truths of grief, loss and love, a story
that not only helped her heal, but offers hope to
others walking a similar path. Chloe Fisher love in the studio, lovely.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
To see you.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Thank you so much for having me.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
This book is not only a memoir, but it's sort
of part handbook as well. What made you decide to
incorporate that element into the book.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Well, I've been sharing my story for the last five years.
I have a podcast called Darling Shine, so I get
on there and we talk about everything. But for me,
it was such a tough journey to motherhood and the
fertility trenches are something that you just wish upon nobody,
and there's not really anything out there that has a
handbook that can kind of guide you through these troubles.
And that is why I sort of wrote with Ali Pasco,

(01:30):
always you to be a handbook that people can use,
you know, when they're in their trenches, when they need help,
when they have nowhere else to go. Yes, so it's
my story, but it has like little breakout sections throughout it,
which are like self help sections.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
You could say, closely, you got beautiful little baby Bobby,
he's just a de lie and baby number two is
on the way. Congratulations. But how difficult was it to
come up with the book to go back into that
time or when you're in the thick of it, were
you keeping diaries, keeping notes because you thought this is
just you know, this is just something I need to share.
Was it difficult to go back.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
I never really envisioned doing a book, to be completely
honest with you, but then I just you know, one
in four women go through miscarriage at some point in
their life, and I just thought it's such a topic
that no one talks about. It's like almost taboo. So
I felt like I need I have the platform, and
I want to use my platform in a good way.
So I figured on Instagram and now through the book,

(02:24):
I can share my story and kind of make others
feel less alone.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Okay, so over there on Instagram you're living the dream life.
Does that sometimes hinder real life?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Honestly, it's like reality for us now. I don't know
any different. You know, we do live a pretty normal life.
You wouldn't believe it, but we actually do it. Yeah,
We like, you know, pause on the road most of
the year, and we are lucky enough to be able
to go with him wherever he goes. So we're a
really tight family unit and it's weird when we're not together.
Actually we kind of just make home wherever we are.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
So so we know Paul Fisher as this fun, loving DJ,
but in your book you share he's incredibly emotional aside too,
and we see Comfy sharing that and what can you
tell us about his perspective?

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yeah, it's funny, Paul. He's known with some of his
friends as sensitive Paul because he is he is such
a sensitive gentle giant. And I was saying, it's hard
for men as well. You know, this journey isn't just
about the woman. It takes two to tango, and it's
really important that we recognize the men going through these
struggles too. Paul actually was kind enough to share a

(03:33):
part in the book as well about men going through
the fertility trenches, and even in the audiobook because that
comes out today too. I somehow roped him into getting
into the studio and he actually read his section of
the book. So it's like kind of like a double wammy,
got my journey his journey.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Well, findally the audio equipment for him to record that,
it wouldn't have been difficult. I wouldn't have imagined it.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Was a strange environment for him because hopefully quite in
like the podcast recording.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Another big part of your life is your special friendship
with Eliti, of course, and you've created this fabulous online community.
Are you going on tour your first tour. Yes, talk
us through that.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
This is a little bit of practice, except we don't
have the big audience right here, but you.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Hello.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
No. So we're going next month on the road around
Australia for our Darlingshine podcast to us. So we're doing
that live. And we started the podcast because sadly quite
a couple of years ago, Elerdie lost her partner in
a tragic accident and then I found myself going through
these fascility fertility struggles and the whole podcast is a
based around motherhood, fertility, grief and really supporting your friends

(04:41):
and others going through those, talking about topics that have
generally unspoken. Elodie has also written a book as well,
and I've followed in her footsteps in writing my book.
And yeah, we just get on there where raw or vulnerable,
and we talk about topics that not many people talk about.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
We let you go without asking about Bobby. She just
likes something in there. Gorgeous girl. She is the most
beautiful more like you or more like Fisher Well.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
She definitely has his personality. I've been doing my book
tour and on the Gold Coast and in Sydney when
there's an audience. I'm like, I haven't seen this Bobby before.
And she gets up and she gets the mics and
she runs around the stage. I'm like, there's your father's a.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Second child on the way. Congratulations. What's your message for
women who are listening to this story and can absolutely
relate to it? And you know, I hope to become
a mother one day and want to hear.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Your words on it. Honestly, I think that it's really
important to back yourself, trust your gut. You know, I
never gave up. I always said, no matter what, I
will have a baby in some way, shape or form.
And whether that was me carrying my own baby, you know,
I always believed and I envisioned myself carrying my own baby.
But if it meant surregacy, that's what it meant. But I,

(05:49):
you know, just don't give up. Don't give up, Hope.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
I'm so good to see you. If ever you find
yourself with two space seats on the lead yet going
to Abiza, Charlie and I would like to take those
seats worth noting we need to be in bed.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
By No, that's okay, old babysit. I'm a really good babysitter.
I have you on your hands? Yeah? Yeah, so Chloe
Fisher's men are always view That's what it looks like.
And it is available now and also on an audio
because
